I went here yesterday with my grandma and the guy who helped us was rude and unprofessional. First of all, he treated us like we were an inconvenience to his day. He sat in his chair all slouched back, feet kicked up under the desk, barely spoke loud enough to hear. Then whenever my grandma would ask him a question he would turn to me to answer like she couldn’t possibly understand what he is talking about. I remember when we used to be able to come in and talk to someone and they would go over our plan and make sure we’re getting the best deal and what we want I made sure to make the customer feel like they mattered, now I guess phone sell themselves so you don’t need respectable salesmen.
Always receive horrible customer service from the male employees here. They give the impression they do not care about their job. I was even talked over and shushed by one of the workers today. Ordered a phone from here at the end of June. Phone still hasnt shown up and I have not been given an explanation as to why. I have had very good experiences at the other stores in Peoria but always end up frustrated after coming to this location. This is my first time ever writing a negative review of a business but I believe a change needs to be made at this location. Only gave it a second star because of the girl who was trying her best today, helping two people at once despite the two other workers who were there and free.
Most horrible customer service ever. Waited for about 15 minutes. 3 people at desks, 2 of them with customers. The one without a customer was throwing a note pad in the air and catching it. Finally I had enough and asked if he was available. He said no. Then the lady that was with a customer said “there’s only 2 of us working today”. I said then who is he and pointed at the man doing nothing. She said “oh he’s the manager”. Hmmm not much of a manager if you ask me. He never said one word to us. Never explained that one of the other 2 people would be with us soon. NOTHING!! I will be reporting this store to the higher powers at Verizon. They wouldn’t know customer service if it smacked them in the face! Do NOT go to this store!
Extremely poor management. Long waiting and no satisfaction. This is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review of any business. I have tried 3 times to get a new contract and phones. A wait of half to three quarters of hour is way to long and still not seen by anyone. A customer of over 20years. P.S. the store was not that busy.
My mother went today and needed a new phone. The man that helped her said he was too busy to help her set her phone up. The whole time she was an inconvenience to him. Was mad she was there to get verizon products. He works for verizon last time o checked.

We have been waiting in the car for over an hour waiting for our turn in line, Very short staffed and workers are taking WAY too long assisting each customer. Never coming back here.

Worse internet service in Peoria. Please do not use Verizon. Try T- Mobile or AT&T! Since I moved in to Peoria I had been struggling with internet and bad service and sadly I have a contract that I need to continue.
The people here are knowledgeable, and always try hard to meet my needs, and solve my problems.
Couldnt help me with an online order I had issues with but I wont fault them for that. Very helpful. Wish an in person visit could warrant the same discounts as online.
In general, I am not a fan of Verizon. But, they do have good coverage and I have been with them for years. So, when it was time for me to get a new phone, I stopped by the local Verizon store to buy one.I knew what I wanted and the service representative helped me out without excessive attempts to sell/subscribe me something that I didnt need. So, it was a good experience.
Didnt have what I was looking for. Tried very hard to run my credit for a 1,000 phone that I did not want.
You can tell the staff is getting tired of dealing with bad corporate policies. But they are good people who are trying their best.
Very friendly staff straight to the point got any got out all in all very great experience I have nothing to complain about.

Service was good, after an hour wait.
I had a bad experience with the same store a year a go so I decided to see if anything has been changed. I was in the store on Monday before Black Friday, The lady I worked with was very helpful and she gave me a good deal that was suppose to be until Wednesday. I came back Wednesday to get the deal, but she was off. The guy I was assigned to work with did not know anything abut the buy 1 get 1 free deal. I showed him the paper I got from the sales lady, but still he did not know and acted in a way that she made a mistake. I asked him again then he check in the system and he told me it is a Black Friday deal. He also kept looking at his watch, it felt that he was ready to go and he wants to get read of me. He was the worst sales person to work with. When I came back on Black Friday they told me that deal ended on Wednesday. When I told them the whole story and showed the document still did not homer that even though it was the sales guy mistake. I Will never go back to this store and I am switching to other than Verizon. I will make sure to tell my experience every time I get a chance.

The wait time was too long
I walked into this store waiting five minutes for an employee to even recognize that I was waiting. All I had to do was set my phone up for prepay. There isn’t enough employees to begin with. They should make it possible for billing to be taking care of right away vs someone who wants a new phone. I’m not waiting an hour just to pay a bill.
I was on hold for 25 min
Took my phone in with a problem.... although it looked busy, I only had 1 person ahead of me and my wait was no more than 3 minutes. The salesman that assisted me was Pat, and although he couldnt fix the problem, he was able to offer me a very reasonable option which eliminated me needing to do a costly upgrade. Should note I just completed my 2 yr contact last month, my phone is now paid for and I didnt have insurance on it. Very knowledgeable, friendly and over and beyond helpful.
This is the only Verizon I come too. They are helpful and listen. They don’t try to push things on you. Great people here. Keep up the great work guys. Your the best.

When I got a new phone from this location, I was not asked about signing up for Verizons device protection plans, and found out the employee signed me up for an extra $20/month protection plan without my approval or knowledge. I check my accounts regularly and I cancelled this right away, but I figured others should know this and check their accounts as well - especially if getting a new device here. Employees should not sign you up for additional services without your knowledge. Not sure what this was about (commission or something else) but this is unacceptable practice.

Oh my goodness, the moment I walked in I felt important!! Kelsey was with me every question, concern and extra advice to my personal needs. And believe me when I say she had patience with my care. She explained my curiosity of Google home speakers and I am.happy say.. This place is great. Every time I have been there, the sales people have always been super helpful. I have never left there that my issue was not resolved. No matter what the issue, they always take the time to explain until I understand. I highly recommend this location.
They were too busy to actually help us. They wrote off our problem and sent us out without answers. We visited the Verizon on war memorial the next day and got amazing service there.
This is where we get all our company phones at staffs Great quick and they do a wonderful job putting my screen protector on because Im terrible at that so if you would like a screen protector go here purchase one theyll be happy to put it on for awesome staff thanks guys for all the years of service been going here for almost 7 years.
Of all the Verizons this is the one that listens to my predicament and they work with me. I still hate Verizon, they dont help seniors. Their phones and plans are the worst. I cant wait for my time in this phone prison to go somewhere else!!!
This place has changed tremendously in the past 2 years. Ive come here for many moons and they have raised the bar on customer service. Managers are willing and helpful--staff is courteous and honest. Overall a wonderful experience for my family.
Had great assistance both times I visited. They offered great suggestions and were very friendly.
Not helpfull with billing inquiries, they made me hold the phone for 30 minutes and no one answered.Then they were like, you can call from your mobile or redial and continue to sit.I think other things are fine but not billing inquiries.
The staff is knowledgeable. We usually work with Zach. He is very patient, very kind and not pushy. I would recommend this store to friends.
Very helpful staff. Have everything you need for your phone. Reason it gets four out of 5 stars is because the dont sell the other box. Which is the only case that had covers for the battery charger slot .

Ive been here for over half an hour. While 3 reps have customers one clearly does not and is standing at the kiosk playing a game. People have come in after i checked in and are being helped ahead of those waiting.

Very busy place, a lot of people waiting. I left after 15 minutes of browsing by myself the phones on the display although I came to the store for something else. You get put on an electronic list and then wait for somebody to become available.This is not my type of store. I do not intend to go back to this store again

For a company all about phones, youd think one of their corporate store employees would pick one up when you call. Entered the store for a several minutes without a single acknowledgement from any employee. Spoke to two different customers that have been waiting roughly 45 minutes each. Its a shame to pay for such short-hand service. Verizon may cover your cell-phone service needs but they eagerly draw the line when it comes to your customer service needs.

Great with sales... If u have a problem with your service stay home and call *611 (Verizon help live over phone). Also, if you want something (like a charger that broke) and u go into the store and dont get it immediately...leave, and go back another time, preferably when its busy, and make sure you talk to a different person and c if they can pull strings when underpaid management is swamped.
People at the store were very helpful and we were able to update our plan and we were also looking to buy an ipad, but they just didnt have the best deal.
Regardless of what you think of the carrier, Ive found its always worth visiting a company-owned store and talking to associates directly about problems rather than trying to do it by phone or Internet. Their service has kept me from cancelling outright twice.

Converted my wife from AT&T. Brought in her phone as a trade in. Was disappointed to find out that we were never credited for the phone trade in, nor was my 20% corporate discount applied to the accessories we purchased for the new phone. It took long enough to get the paperwork done in the first place >1 hour after a 30 minute wait. Now, two phone calls a month later, and we have to drive back to the store to get the issue corrected. Hoping Verizon can make this right, but truly frustrated with all the lost time.

Little bit of waiting time but it was okay
I had a terriable experince at this store. I went to upgrade my phone and it took 15 minuites for the lady to try to transfer my contacts, then she came back and tried to hand me back my old phone because she was confused which phone I was upgrading to. She then proceded to take back both phones for another 15 minuites and transfer the contacts again to the phone I was upgrading to which was unsucessful and she did not tell me this. Shortly after I left the store I realized there were NO CONTACTS on my new phone what a wast of time! Now I am stuck transfering all of my contacts by hand.
