I had the pleasure of experiencing the Pewaukee Menards. The employees were fantastic. The one employee I would like to compliment and talk about is Trey he is a very nice person. He also is a very funny and will make checking out at the checkout line very fun and enjoyable. He made sure that the items were correctly priced and let my little boys help him scan the items. I will definitely be back to check out hopefully at Treys register.

No problems with this Menards. Good selection and carried what we wanted.A very knowledgeable Whitewater student, Reilly, helped me. Keep Reilly around as long as you can - and pay him more.Very helpful, we double checked everything, he wrote down the SKU numbers for me, etc.

Inexpensive supplies for nearly everything.

On top of the home improvement staples they also have foods, health and beauty and some other home goods. Good deals are commonly found.

Online order - pick up at storeMy husband purchased some outdoor furniture- 2 couches, 2 chairs and 2 side tables. We purchased online and then went to pick up at this location. They wheeled out the flatbed with all our items. My husband trusted that they had everything we ordered. He came home and started building a couch. I happened to notice one of the couch boxes were missing. He right away jumped up and called. He admitted he trusted that they gave us everything we ordered and he didn’t double check.Colin helped us out. He checked the inventory and verified that we didn’t get the 2nd one we ordered. Went out immediately to pick it up. Had 3 people separately come out from the pick up door in back to apologize. Not used to this type of customer service of being apologetic and accountable. I’m willing to pass 3 Menards to go back to this one. Well done!!! Great job hiring solid workers!

Have gotten our lumber here since moving to the area and have had easy delivery. I’ve also gotten a lot of things like canned goods and baking supplies here when in a pinch. Usually good interactions here with employees, though it’s unfortunate they (and other patrons) spend their time complaining about having to wear a mask or get vaccinated to prevent the spread of a deadly virus. If it’s such a problem, go somewhere else.

Went to the one in Johnson Creek, they had what I wanted, but not enough to do my project. The man in charge of the department got right on the computer and found what I wanted at the store in Pewaukee.Drove over and picked it up and went home happy! Thanks Menards.

Still lots of empty shelves in electrical dept, as well as some empty spots in plumbing. Seems like theyre having supply issues right now. Probably a good idea to confirm plumbing advice with someone knowledgeable before spending lots on supplies based on folks in the plumbing area.

What can I say, Menards has been the same for years. You cant find anything. Including help. Its not because they dont have enough people working there. Its because theyre usually off in a corner talking to each other instead of helping customers. Its your lucky day if a checker says hello or thank you. Ive been trying to find an item thats been out of stock for a long time. Out of about 10 different employees Ive asked at different locations, Ive gotten 10 completely different stories. Instead of someone actually taking the time to find the correct answer, each one makes up a story. Then goes back to chatting with their coworkers.

Ken in flooring dept. Was very knowLedgeable of the products and very helpful to us in getting proper flooring.

Menards is a great place to shop they have a little bit of everything

5/30/2020 Update: Just finished installing our new tumbled Belgian paver patio that came free with our garage we built last year! Menards called it an 11% off sale, we heard Buy a garage get a free patio!.Have been working on building a new garage for nearly a year, and over the winter decided on a Menards garage kit. So easy to use the website and visually imagine the building. A few clicks and choices, and done. It all went wrong somehow. When all the product was delivered last week, my husband questioned why there were only 2 trusses. Driver said thats all there were. My builders showed up today, and confirmed we were missing 11 trusses. Checked in with the materials dept and found the error in the order. Trusses were written up and ready to go by the time we got to the store. Should be here by weeks end. Thanks for taking care of things for us.

This location is well-stocked, convenient, and has helpful employees. Mask-wearing is consistently enforced here which makes for a much more enjoyable, safe shopping experience. My go-to hardware store.

Lots of products, good sales, helpful staff, frequently findable, clean. Most stuff easy to find... But sometimes.....🤪🤔🤪

Few problems, but found it a bit displeasing to have forklifts blocking major store areas during a busy time.We left without buying multiple items because they were inaccessible.Perhaps should schedule stocking activities a bit better.

Love shopping here but hate the rebates. This store is clean and well laid out. Staff is friendly.

We use Menards alot of materials at job sites. Easy to work with and happy with there service.

Was refused service without a mask. Menards lost a customer for life. Whether its my personal choice or a medical condition they should not be able to refuse service based upon their feelings and what is not the law

Employees are helpful a little more expensive then the other stores but overall a good experience.

Had to go to this Menards on this day. The stain I wanted was out of stock at the Menards I usually shop. This is a very nice Menards. The store was exceptionally clean and the store shelves were stocked very nicely too. There were 4 cans of stain on the shelf, just like the Menards website stated. I took the 4 cans (now I can finish painting my fence). There werent too many people shopping this morning, around 8AM.I would definitely shop here again.

Was able to park & enter garden center easily but unable to check out & exit same way?!! Wut a pain?!!!

I use to like going to menards until yesterday. I was literally shoed out the door like a pest because I forgot my mask and they wanted me to purchase one. If they wouldve been nicer about the situation and gave me a mask, I would have just put it on. The employees are completely rude about it.

Great place to get supplies for small home projects. It can be a bit dirty from time to time in the store but not for long as someone usually comes to clean it up when they see you looking at a mess.Prices are nice and cheap and with the rebates it’s great.During COVID you are required to wear the mask in the store at the time of writing this, and they do watch you on that. Saw a person being told they could not enter the store cause they did not have a mask on, which I was proud to see.

Rude, obnoxious, horrible attitudes here. Especially that cranky old lady working the service desk. Instead I would recommend Ace Hardware across the street where service is #1 priority.

Had a really bad delivery of lumber and shingles. However the manager there made it right!

I came here on Black Friday and stocked up on dog toys. They had plenty in stock and crowds weren’t too bad. The store was clean and they had plenty of staff on hand.

Excellent customer service getting blinds cut to specifics!

Last September I purchased several hundred dollars of merchandise and then filled out my rebate form suppling the required rebate receipt numbers. I am still WAITING! The internet link they provide indicated they were behind from the expected 6 8 weeks to 10. I waited and still nothing. I then contacted the internet link with ALL my information; name, email, address, Rebate receipt numbers. 3 days ago I received what must be a canned response indicating they cant help me as they do not have enough information. What more can I provide? They want: name, email, address, Rebate receipt numbers. The exact pieces of information I provided in the first place. As far as I can tell- Menards Rebates are a scam! 11% of a pain in the a**.

Manager was rude the only good thing about that store is I dont live by it so I dont have to ever go back to it the manager lady was very rude

Never have any problems finding someone to help me; just wish they would cut my lumber purchases like another home improvement store which I only patronize when I need to buy a sheet of plywood and have to have it cut to get it in my carThe quality of Menards stock lumber is so much better, having a cutting service, just 1 or 2 cuts like the other store offers their customers, would make Menards my only go to home improvement store!

I visit here weekly for business. Great prices and most everything I need. Take advantage of the 11% rebates and save big money... you know the tune.

Very happy with the people working in the building material and shipping department of this store. I am a pleased customer and Doug Ludwig the Delivery Coordinator was very helpful.

I would like to commend Menards for being a leader in promoting the wearing of a face mask in their stores. This company cares about the health of the employees and customers. Too bad so many others do not have the courage to do what will stop the pandemic and save Americans. If we want normal, we need to be one and save this country.

The employees were incredibly rude almost to the point of harassment. Wont be back.

I went to the closest Menards store today. It was a 30 minute drive from Oconomowoc. We arrived with our 7 year old daughter. We were not allowed into the store. They said children were not allowed. What is this idiocy? Where am I supposed to put my baby? Leave her in the car? Or hire a babysitter? I am very unhappy! What is going on in this country? Who comes up with such orders? Not only did the children sit in isolation for 2 1/2 months, now they cannot enter the store. I had been planning a trip to this store for a week so as to not waste time with idle activities. I planned what I would do along the way. What happened? They absolutely ruined my day.

Very serviceable! loaded up both my air-conditioners on a flatbed roller cart & loaded in2 bak of p/u truk.

Menomonee Falls was out of the wood I needed, A gentleman at the desk looked up other stores and was able to tell me where there was an adequate supply. In Pewaukee it was there and to date the best quality pieces I have found. Usually I have to go through 30 boards to find 10. Not today!

Great customer service. I enjoy using the “order and pick up “ feature. When driving in back I was assisted right away with efficiency and respect for my vehicle... meanards is always my first stop for my home needs.

Ive had to return most of my purchases lately due to really poor quality and the items breaking or not working.

Christina was super helpful today in the lawn and garden section, I was able to find everything I needed and then some.

Not very busy tonight. Sales person helped me find ticket to purchase topsoil and was able to drive around and load bags directly in truck.

Made my 3 and 4 year old wear masks, then proceeded to call general manager to remove us

Normally I would give Menards a five star rating. I own three homes and in the past month I have been to Menards almost daily doing renovations, preparing for sale and renters. Upon learning about Menards making masks mandatory I am beyond upset with them and will not be shopping there anymore while this rule is in effect. I am an adult. I am a registered nurse. I do not think I need to wear a mask to protect myself. If Menards and/or the other customers think the masks are going to protect them, then by all means wear one but don’t violate my rights And attempt to force me to wearing a mask. My guess is a constitutional attorney would tell you this violates the rights of the people.

Always at Menards you can find what youre looking for from the cheap to the most expensive ‼️

One of my favorite stores

Baldy at the contractor desk wasnt helpful at all and gave me a unfriendly remark when I asked for a simply half inch panel for board and batten. He tried to sell me on smart side panel and soffit panel witch isnt rated for vertical installment, also stared me down like he was pretty angry. Then told me to try somewhere else. I left without buying any of the two grand in material I needed including paint to rebuild two chimneys. Going to Germantown store where they actually help you find what you need.

Normally I love this place and shop there often. Went to the Pewaukee store today. All the workers were wearing masks and most of the guests were as well. Many also were not. Thought it was mandatory?

Menards always has what Im looking for at a reasonable price... and they have an excellent and very helpful staff who will drop what theyre doing to assist you!

Not the largest Menards there is, but still a decent selection. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Rude employees and stock counts are never right online.

They make you wear a mask. They think they know more about health than i. dont get me wrong I just hang it from my ear I know how dangerous it is to wear a mask.

Probably one of the cleanest menards out there. Not the biggest, but staff is fairly professional and selection is okay.

I am beyond disappointed in the doors I had custom made not a single one fits and the guy Angel who helped me convinced me to go with garbage plywood jams. 2 of the door jams broke when they were loaded and the very custom door size wasnt the proper measurement I gave them. I measured these doors at least 9 times and 2 other people did the same. I was told my measurements were unusual and wrong he has never heard of it....then dont sell me what you THINK is right. $900 mistake Ill never use this menards again. Hire competent people

Absolutely terrible experience at this location. The cashier couldnt believe I had items I ordered online with the printed receipt plus more items I picked out while I was picking the others up. She was completely confused, irritated and rude about something that is probably a daily occurrence. She had to call in reinforcements to figure it out and no she was not a new cashier. Will never return to this store or any Menards.

If you work with Jayson, Tim, Kathy or Daltyn then you’ll have a great experience. They went above and beyond to help with an online order that I had issues with. They were super patient and helped fix the issues I had and I ended up with better products than I ordered online in the end.

Super friendly, helpful and courteous staff. I shop Menards always but this location is above and beyond. I drive quite a ways for this location and well worth the drive. This place is one of the few places where customer service still exists .

I consider it a fun place to shop! Lots of basic need items, however wish theyd update their home decor offerings & patio furniture to more big city/coastal styles.

Very few people were working and it was very hard to get help. When I found some they were very helpful!

Not the first time Ive had a crappy experience here, will be the last. Had a special order fiasco last year(2017) which the manager refused to rectify in any way. Today, asked twice for forklift help retrieving 6x6 treated lumber from top rack. No one ever showed in the 50 minutes I was waiting. Screw this place!

We really like Menards, they have great selection and great prices! Also, if you look carefully you can find free things after rebates, theyre purple price tags.

Cant wear a mask it was horrible couldnt breathe when i left their had to just grab what we needed and go I have prexisting conditions that prevent me from wearing one plus they have been out of our fence material for months

Have been going to this Menards since moving to Pewaukee & really enjoy the customer service experience. Staff is very helpful and dont mind helping me navigate the store. We also got our kitchen cabinets from Menards & the person who helped us was very accommodating along the way!
