Went in there lost but an employee (sorry failed to get his name) was very helpful. He pointed to where I could find the item I needed. No Fuss-No Muss.Plus one of the females employee was dressed as Snow White. Nice touch.
The paint department needs to be more organized. They don’t have an order or pick up window and you wouldn’t know where to line up to order the paint. Requesting assistance to get an item from a top shelf requires a 30 minute wait time.

The worst service! Wait over 15 minutes just to get someone to help for appliances. He came the electric range advertised not available anywhere local! The dryer I want (advertised) he said available but he was so slow, I told him I will pay n my friend will wait n take it. He said he had in in stock n I have to pay first then bring ticket to him to get the dryer. Went to customer service, so slow!! Then she said not in stock!!! Wasted 1 hour for nothing. I have to rush to my 2:30 pm appointment! Many of the staffs act like they dont need to work, none showed enthusiasm to do good job!

Well stocked, attendants were hard to find. Once we found was great, went out of his way to help us. Mostly a good overall experience. Lotsa parking, store well lit and accessible. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Had to mask, no temp...if its home improvement they got the stuff at a fair price.
Today 10/3/2021 purchased a wheelbarrow that is locked outside within view of the registers. They called for a manager to unlock over.23 minutes waiting and no manager insight. No one else has Access to the wheelbarrows. How sad. Had enough walked over to customer service waited an additional 8 mins and got it refunded to my HD card. Wow waste of time. On the way out still no manager jovy Jove. Way to drop the ball.
One thing i dont like when im shopping is when nothing has a price tag i went to 2 mager plant nursery in or around alamo tx and not one thing was priced makes me feel they give you a price on how much money you look like you have i was so frustrated and remembered. the home depot everything i wanted i found it at HOME DEPOT where everything had a tag and i paid a fraction of the amount they wanted to charge me at those nursery places.HOME DEPOT you are my need to go place for all my home and gardening

Very clean store, but had a male employee at the self-check out that was so rude; not only was he rude to myself, but to the other customers in self-check out as well. I understand times are frustrating but you keep your problems at the the door and not reflect it to every customers shopping. Despite that certain individual employee, the establishment itself is a great store with every appliance, hardware and power tools you may need, and at a fair price as well. Very clean, and most employees are quick to assist when your in search for something.

Went to return something at the return counter, was asked if I had formed a line at the order pick-up desk. I said I hadnt so the cashier told me to go back and form the line. Ok, no problem. The lady that showed up behind me, however, made a big deal about it but instead of telling her to go form the line behind me, the cashier took her return. So I guess if Id been rude I would have gotten my way? When I told the cashier shed let the other lady ahead of me even though I was first, and to tell the manager to more clearly mark the beginning of the line instead of having customers try to figure it out on their own, she proceeded to tell me that the store wasnt hers, and that there used to be cones but nobody obeyed them. I dont know what cones are supposed to accomplish without a sign that tells you customers line up here but if Im going to return something Im going to the return desk, not the customer pick-up desk, unless they have signs telling customers to do otherwise. Save yourself the headache and go to other Home Depots, not this one.
I would like to give no stars but of course you can’t do that. Everest do the give great costumer service. I just had a quick question and the lady wanted me stand in 20 min long line to ask it. Never get help here. This is why Lowe’s is number one, customer service people.
Terrible experience. We asked for help because i was going to purchase two bath tubs. Waited and waited and nobody came. When we were leaving i told the kid who was cutting boxes thanks for your non help to which he replied well the store is closed dude. I told him we got here before obviously before you closed since the doors were open. He then laughed and said go to lowes. So here I am at lowes.

Horrible Service! I went to get some makita 18v batteries for my power tools. I found them really quickly. They were locked with an alarm . I had to speak with 5 different associates. The first 4 said they couldnt unlock it and that they would find the person who could but never came back. The last fiy did it real quick. All he did was go get the key and unlock the batteries. Took 30 minutes just to get the batteries.
I normally love Home Depot...but today I waited for over an hour to have a board cut. And had to keep walking back up to the check out to ask for someone to cut the board. When they finally came he said he couldnt cut it because of safety reasons. I understand that, but when I bought the board I was told they could. So I waisted an hour and still didnt get it cut. I was a tad pi$$ed.
I honestly am very disappointed in the staff in this place I simply when I for something expected to be in and out quickly, unfortunately I dint know were to find what I needed I asked the lady in the front for help she asked for help quickly and keept calling for help meanwhile there was four staff in the back standing and talking and never when up to her register to ask what she needed I keept standing in the front and no one walked up to me to see if I needed help. Very disappointed walked out 40 min later without nothing because I was running late to pick up my son..

This Home improvement store has wipes, and offers masks. They are very busy all the time with building materials, rentals, and gardening. If you are in a hurry to get something; be prepared for long waiting lines. Self checkout available. Otherwise good location, but bad traffic problem on Jackson Road. Thanks for offering the military veterans and active duty personnel discount. Thanks again, for being involved with the community projects 🔨🏡.

Simply put. Horrible customer service from the cashiers. Management literally will demonstrate the lack of appreciation for the customer, lack in the ability to improve in that area. Since its Home depot, we, the customer have to put up with the treatment. I just decided to go to LOWES.

Workers were pretty helpful... eventually, looking for what I needed on my own, the people in the Garden Center were helpful, even though they didnt work in the department where I needed assistance. As for the public...virtually zero social distancing. No customers even seemed to be aware we are in the middle of the worst pandemic in a century.
Every employee that I encounter was helpful and friendly.

All bad, first called to order lumber Customer service Says, “let me transfer you, lumber person answers; Can I order 2x6x12 and have them deliver; Let me get someone to help your dog I am transferred after 5 transfers I am place on hold. Line is cutoff Home Depot in Pharr personnel special supervisor are held unaccountable. Very Sad
I love Home Depot best store in my opinion, However todays visit was horrible, customer service was so slow I understand they are training new people but do it when you have 2 people in n line NOT 15. The line was all the way to the garden center. What was supposed to have been a 10 min. VISIT TURNER IN TO 37 MINUTES IN LINE. Very upsetting 😬

My dad and I stood at each end of the power tool aisles waiting for an employee to show up to help us. We waited around 15 minutes and nothing. We walked around the area, and not a single employee in sight!! Very disappointing. Only to top it off, when i was able to call a lady employee our way, they didnt have the product my dad needed. The lady, after looking to see if they had it in stock, told us they didnt. If I hadnt asked her to check the other stores nearby, she wouldnt have suggested anything else after that. Yall really need your employees to spread around the store; your customers need your help. This visit was not a pleasing one.

This review is for The Home Depot at 409 Jackson Rd Pharr Texas. Its May 3rd 2020. I came to the store and made a purchase for $615.94. I stood in line to pay at customer service desk for 20 minutes and then I was told they wouldnt let me pay there because it was for returns and pick up only. The management could have placed a sign to let customers know this but I guess they couldnt afford a piece of paper and a stick to make a sign with.I found that they only had two registers open in their whole store. One register in garden center & one in lumber center. Center registers and self check-out were all closed. I got in line at the lumber side of the store. The line was 4 aisles long. There was about 50 people with shopping carts in line. I waited an entire hour in lines to pay.I asked who the manager on duty was they said his name was Joe but he wasnt anywhere to be found. He was hiding. Joe could have open another register but he didnt. Joe was probably in the back office counting the money. I actually went to the Home Depot on 801 Trenton road yesterday and they had 4 self checkout lines open as well as 4 other registers. I was in line for 2 minutes behind other customers. I used self-checkout and left the store very happy one minute later. So it seems that not all Home depots are running exactly the same. I guess it depends on which manager is in charge.I happen to work for Lowes so I know how they run their business. They dont make customers wait to pay. They have 7 registers open at this time. I left home Depot and went to Lowes across the street and checked. So customers beware. if you have a lot to do and dont have time to waste dont shop at Home Depot go to Lowes.

I had the worst service ever in the HomeDepot store #0506 in McAllen, TX...First I place an order for some doors; order goes through and they charge my card. It show 7 of the items I was looking for in stock.Once my guys get there I realize one of the doors I needed as a right vs left open. when my guys ask the pro deck attendant to make the correction, he takes it upon himself to cancel the order and tells my guys to go get what they need and just pay at the register.First thing wrong with this is that you do not get an immediate refund to your cards (usually takes 2-3 days). Second is, we never asked to cancel the order whey did he just decided to do it.????So my guys call me and I call the for a manager this is today Nov 24 around 5pm. I am connected to an assistant manager who instead of helping me, tell me he will transfer me to the pro desk so they can answer my questions.I reach the pro desk and guys says let me check...then comes bag with an excuse that the product is not available and that is why he canceled the order.I then tell my guys to go look for the doors (left and right open) and they are both available, they put them on a cart and go back to pro desk. but now they have changed shifts so the lady there can help us. when I say lets just go ahead and pay for them again have then call me for a card payment. She tell them she doesnt know how because she is new and to go to a regular cash register.and there they tell my guys it cant be done you have to have the credit card on-hand to do it. 2 1/2 hours they spent at the store pickup these doors. what a waste of time. — in Edinburg, Texas.

I’m currently at the store inquiring about an appliance promotion I saw online. After waiting about 20 minutes to even speak to someone they have no knowledge regarding their own promotions. The clueless sales associate got another involved that acted like he knew about the promotions but actually gave incorrect information.
This home depot is much like the others. My favorite part at this home improvement store is the garden department. We can usually find all we need for beautifying our yard. The easier do-it-yourself jobs at home my husband does usually entail a trip here at Home Depot. Well continue shopping here for home and yard small jobs!
I had other home depot like almost 5 minutes from me. But I preferred to drive 20 minutes to come to this home depot. And I wasnt wrong.I tried to pay with credit store money, but there was a problem with the system and it took the money but didnt went through. :/But I went to costumer services, they call the manager but I didnt have to wait several minutes for him to come, by phone he said, it was their mistake, and just take the stuff you wanted to pay with that money.!!!!It was almost the same amount, but WOW thats costumer services!I will never go to another home depot ever. I doesnt matter how far it is for me. But costumer services like this you will never find in ANY other store.You won a big fish today!!!Long and prosper life to that manager!

I feel like they have better prices than lowes but thats just me. Today I needed assistance finding a item and the associate there was quick to help me find it.
We had good service, saved 15 per cent, with a coupon that we got in the mail. So we thought that worked out good for us.

Was too crowded and long line. Was only able to find some of the stuff we needed and didnt get help finding the rest and the help we did get the employees would end the sentence with I think if not ask someone else around there. Not trying to shame bash embarrass or anything just saying what we experienced.
The prices are stupid high, but I think thats everywhere.

We went several times to buy materials for our home and seriously they need better customer service to get a bulk of materials into truck. Absolutely no help was offered and they treated us with no respect. They are loosing a big customer! Home depot needs to hire new friendly staff that offer help. Spent thousands already because its the closest home materials store. I just wanted to let someone know about this.
