Every time I come through Mitchell & Ness store, always get best experience. I’m so happy that they moved from old to new location cos of better space and lighting as well. They extremely took their time in using their phones/writing down to communicate with me and my brother (we both are deaf). I own 5 M&N shorts & one authentic Kobe jersey. Without any doubts I’ll come back, thank you all!
Been coming to Mitchell and Ness for years, i recently visit the new location to get a new Eagles jersey. One of the things I like about the new location Is the lightning cause the old location had dreadful lighting, it’s also a little bit bigger then the old location. Matthew had great hospitality while helping me, my only real issue was with the security guard who came off a bit arrogant when I enter the store. Also I do recommend that you try on what you buy so you get the perfect fit and examine for damage as they have a vary strict return policy.
I called ahead of going, I live in DC but wanted to pick up a jersey, I was told by an employee that they had what I wanted, and they had plenty, no reason to hold anything for me because what I wanted was in the basement, and he assured me I would be fine, showed up and got ignored for 20 minutes, asked for help more than once, only finally to be told they sold out hours ago, I called right before I left and drove 3 hours for no reason whatsoever, the person should have been honest and told me it was risky not that I had nothing to worry about, had to pay 15 bucks for parking so I wasted several hours, gas, and money because someone assured me for no reason. Never again!
Long term supporter of the brick and mortar store and their website. Had such a horrible customer service experience today will not be supporting them any longer. Purchased a jersey on 7/28. Was too small so went to store on 8/28 for return or exchange. Rep I dealt with simply said it was beyond thirty days and didn’t offer an exchange, credit, or any other alternative other than me keeping Jersey and/or selling it. This is how they treat a customer who has supported the brand for two decades. I will no longer spend my hard earned dollars with them. 19nine sells college merch at a much better price point and they know how to treat their customers with respect. If I could give them a zero I would.
Customer service SUCKS. EACH TIME you send an email inquiry, they respond, Did you still need assistance with your inquiry or has it been resolved and completed for you, but NEVER answer your question (even when you reply to that email). I just noticed its the same representative, holding up potential sales.
This store just opened and I experienced terrible customer service. I brought a broken hat back after only having it for a week and I was not able to return it or receive a full refund. My husband and I have been attempting to visit the Infamous Mitchell & Ness store in Philadelphia. Yesterday we finally traveled and did our road trip there, and I am sorry but what a disappointment! The NBA store on 5th Avenue in NYC is way better! The store is so little, the lighting is horrible, there is no life in the store, not many options to choose from, lack of organization. I mean sadly it was a disappointment 😞 and not at all what we was expecting. A whole remodel needs to be done. We still made a purchase, which by the way I think the best thing in the store was the gentlemen behind the counter. He had amazing hospitality as well as the security guard. With all this being said I hope Management does better with this location to welcome guests better!
It was great!! I got my Dad the Dr J Julius Erving, for Father Day,, and I got the Allen Iverson Throwback Sixers Jersey, so we both wore our jerseys last night, and THEY WON!! GAME 7 tomorrow, Me and my Dad are gonna switch up jerseys!!!And the sales guy was great, even though its summer the coats were on sale BIG TIME, so I found a 1985 (year I was born) NBA All Star Game coat... I cant wait to wear it!! Gotta love this store!!
Where do I start with Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia? Since I grew up in the late 90s early 2000 throwbacks was the it factor and you having one meant you was the man on your school or your block. I couldnt afford one so I feel kinda of bless saying I cop my first anything Mitchell & Ness, a throwback Raiders sweater. The survive was excellent the guy helping me out went above and beyond his duties to get my beloved sweater. Thanks
I went to visit a friend on Saturday and thought we stop by to take a look, I heard great things about this store considering it was in Philly but was not impressed at all the service was little bit stale and the selection was over glorified and expensive, I only got two items paid exactly the right amount in Cash. And the guy still stared at me as I owe more. The only reason I bought the two items because it was my favorite college team. But other than that I dont think Ill be returning.
Placed an order before Christmas. Only received 2 out of the 4 items. One item was just flat out wrong and the other was apparently out of stock. Although it still appears to be in stock on the M&N website. Customer service has not done anything to fix the order or at least send me the right team hat I purchased. You can only reach them via email. Kind of a bummer because I am a M&N fan and support local Philly businesses.
Bought a jersey online, then returned with tracking, delivery confirmed, still no refund issued almost 2 months later! They don’t answer the phone, don’t reply emails. They have a F rating on Better Business Bureau. Don’t buy from here, unless you like to give away free money to strangers. This company is a total scam, many other similar complaints have been made, they routinely send wrong items, charge twice “accidentally” and don’t issue refunds for returned items. Buyer Beware!

We bought a baseball jersey from this company and they canceled our order after we bought it online so they could sell it for $350 so they could make a lot more money. This is not what any good company does to their customers. We are beyond upset because it was for our grandmother who was extremely excited to receive this gift.
Went in to buy a Mets jersey. Wasn’t to thrilled to hear how one of the employees was saying how all New York sports fans are dumb and shouldn’t come in. Definitely not a good vibe for first time customer.

I am absolutely appalled with the customer service at Mitchell & Ness. I returned a $150 jersey over 3 weeks ago and the tracking shows it was received by the company over 2 weeks ago. I have yet to receive a refund or response to any of my 5 emails!!! Their customer service phone number is defunct and they have now basically stolen $150 from me. I do not recommend!!!!!!!
An amazing sports nostalgia store with the companys fabulous authentic period reproduction uniforms. I truly enjoyed feeling their authentic Babe Ruth wool uniform top from the 20s or 30s (I forget which) and comparing it to their authentic version of a 1996 Mariano Rivera uniform. Youd sweat like a pig in both, IMHO, but you wouldnt itch in the 90s! The store deserves 5 stars but its so small that I can only give it 4 stars. Expand, M&N!!
They make visually appealing clothing that will definitely have people complimenting you, but I honestly would never buy from there again after a store trip of a few thousand bucks years back.I was warned by a friend that their clothes shrunk an insane amount, so I accounted for that. Im normally a XXL. I bought 4XL in four sweatshirts. Cold wash and hang dry. None fit anymore. The sleeves are too short for my nephew who is 61. Bought two jerseys. The numbers came off my Jerome Brown jersey on the first wash. Customer service was horrible trying to return it, with a receipt. I had to have a buddy who knew someone higher there take care of it. Jersey peeled again in 6 months.Bought a bunch of old school varsity vests. Only ones that fit are the 6XL. I am 64, 260. Hats all fit fine. Basketball jerseys are fine.I ended up having to sell over $2,200 worth of what I bought on Ebay. Nice thing is, it holds value and I got 50% back.Still wouldnt buy there again though.

I have shopped in there stores for several years. I look forward to the advertised Annual 50% Off the Entire Store sale every year. It was advertised in the Metro etc. this year as usual. I attended on the first day 1/29/2018 and purchased a few Eagles items.I went back the following day to purchase a few more Eagles shirts, etc. I was told by store personnel that Eagles clothing was no longer included in the Annual ENTIRE Store 50% off!! What’s wrong with this picture? I have been going to the Annual Sale for several years and there are no exclusions normally.The Eagles are in the Super Bowl and fans are excited and ready to celebrate in there best regalia . So shame on you Mitchell and Ness for falling to corporate greed and changing the Annual Sale and excluding Eagles clothing after you have already advertised that the entire store is on sale!I will never shop at this store again because of false advertisement and disappointing some of the greatest fans in the country during our trip to the Super Bowl. It’s horrible for this company to change the sale in the second day when in previous years I shopped during the Annual Sale of the entire store with no exclusions!I hope others join me and boycott this store due to there shady business practices of false advertisement.

Girlfriend paid online for a Michael Jordan jersey as surprise. After two weeks she gets a message stating they are unable to ship the jersey because they are out of stock. By that time all the other Jordan jerseys I was interested sold out. And why did they even allow her to even purchase the item in the first place if its sold out. She bought the jersey as soon as it became available. They need to have a better control of their inventory.

Love this store! Its great to re-up on philly gear. Their clothing is a little on the more expensive side but great quality. The store associates are also really helpful. one of the managers, Arielle, is so nice! She also has an amazing smile and is always dressed immaculately. Theres another employee name Ciara how also proved to be really helpful. Its great to see people who are knowledgeable and go through extremes to make sure you are content. Parking in the city can be a struggle so hopefully you find street parking but theres also lots as well as the option to take the train. I shop here often, always leave out with staple pieces, and I just love it! Definitely great sports apparel- especially if you love your PHILLY TEAMS!! I also love their hats!

Terrible company. I have contacted them multiple times about getting Indiana Pacers gear . They have zero items for the Pacers and I have asked to have stuff maybe even willing to pay top dollar and I get either ignored or just a simple what’s on the website is what we have . There is no t shirts sweatshirts shorts nothing just a couple hats and throwback jerseys and it’s been like this for years . I’m sick of it and this is the worst company I think I have ever seen . I’m pretty sure I’m the reason why they don’t make more Indiana Pacers gear because they are sick of hearing from me . I’d love to make a purchase but I don’t want a throw back mark Jackson jersey with a crappy designed hat

Cool jerseys and hats, new styles and from back in the day. Youll find that old school athletes jersey you want in there. Expensive but worth every penny for the quality of the items.
They offered customizable exclusive merch where they ironed on patches to their regular merch. The patches fell off in mere hours without even washing. They should have just sold the patches and shirts separately. Additionally, the fit of their merch is horrible compared to Uniqlo or IntoTheAM. Their prices were ~40% higher than the quality would suggest.

As much as the store is good and well equipped I have to give only 3 start because they’re just lacking sizes. Very hard, almost impossible to find the most usual sizes L and XL.
Been coming for over 20 yrs and I truly appreciate having this icon being from our City. Throwbacks are definitely back in heavy rotation, who remembers when all star weekend was here and the line to get in Mitchell and Ness was a block long 💯
A must see for any sports aficionado as they probably have the best selection of throwback gear in the country. Not a huge fan of the snapbacks (seems to be a large selection of their hats) but they have fitted ones as well. Can sometimes be pricey but well worth it.
Always very good quality merchandise in this store. Expensive but quality sports team themed clothing, hats, scarves, tshirt, socks etc. Some classic logos for teams that are hard to find. Has team merchandise for a variety of teams not just Philadelphia or PA. If you have a sports lover or are a sports enthusiast yourself this store is not to be missed. Always check out the back of the store for clearance items! Last trip in my boyfriend got 4 items, a hoodie, fitted baseball hat, and 2 t-shirts for the price he had intended to pay for 1 coat.

First time shopping at the actual location and not online and must say it was worth the trip!...being able to try the jersey on before purchase is the way to go...not only that, the customers service is A1, you do have to be patient when you ask for a jersey that you dont see, just imagine how many jerseys they have in stock and them having to go to the second floor and look for the right one. Store isnt that huge but you really dont need it to be huge like the nba store for example lol...always loved Mitchell and ness quality in how they make there jerseys, place is a go too if youre looking to dish out some cash for throwback jerseys because we all know good quality things are pricey but worth every penny!

This place Sucks! Standing outside in the cold for almost 20 minutes waiting for them to open (on playoff Sunday) only to be told theyre closed for inventory. Probably the worst day of the year for inventory when the birds play in 5 hours.
Very disappointed with this company. I placed an order on December 12th slated for delivery prior to Christmas. Now its expected to arrive on December 26th, what a disappointment. And to make matters worse the customer service hasnt done a thing to make things rights. And you cant even call into them right now they dont pick up the phone, but they make sure to leave a message saying UPS ground deliveries are delayed 2-3 due to holiday rush. Im pretty sure UPS has their end handled. Wheres the customer love I keep hearing about in my daily email blasts from you Mitchell and Ness??????

Grew up with them being my absolute go to sports nostalgia shop. Climate change, out of touch, beyond the Center City types. Service rushed at best. Constantly out of whatever item I come to purchase. Disappointing...still depriving us fans of the Fitted Caps, for all Philly sports teams. Need to adjust that....Philly fans loves the Fitted Cap.
Happy I made it. On my wish list to go, and it was kinda a let down. Selection was small. The store looks bigger on instgram. The customer service was mediocre. Not the most acknowledge but was ok. Need more sizes on site. The website has more stuff. Now thats crazy to see in person. Oh well.
