Great coffee with outdoor seating. I highly recommend the fries because of their ketchup, more of a tomato paste, very nice. You have to get table service to sit outside, but it’s easy to order through the QR code so it’s not so bad, and the prices are very reasonable even with the added tip. I don’t recommend coming here for pastries though, their selection of pastries is very minimal.
Very friendly staff, really cozy feel inside, attached right next to the hotel lobby which is convenient and gives it an open feel.I got a golden latte and a cold draft oat milk latte and both were really really good. Highly recommend
This was my first visit to Bluestone. Our server Maggie was friendly, warm and made sure we were comfortable in our seating and happy with our food. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I’ve ever had; the bacon delicious and plentiful and the coffee up to my hard to please scratch. 👍🏻
Just wasted $75 and an hour and a half of my life on this joke of a brunch spot. Despite the hefty price tag of everything costing approx $14 before adding meat (an additional $3.5-4.5), the food took an hour to arrive, although I did have the privilege of watching all of the carry out orders be met far more quickly whilst I waited! When the food did finally show up it was a mishmash of cold and burnt upon arrival. Didn’t even have silverware for the first five minutes after food was dropped and had to inquire about a missing dish (as well as tell the poor overworked runner what dish it was). My green baked eggs with chicken was burnt to the sides of the skillet and came with a very cold, no longer crispy piece of toast. No butter. Pancakes were grainy, cold on top and in the middle yet somehow completely burnt on bottom (pic included). There was no service to speak of just a QR code thru which orders were placed, tip was added and payment was ran (all before ur order went thru). That’s all well and good if that’s your style, but for $75 including a 20% tip, it’s a little frustrating to not have a server to let u know that ur food is indeed coming and idk, give u more water once in a while. Ambiance sucked pretty hard too LOL. Would not recommend this place to anyone, even my worst enemy.
We sat inside, there were so many baby flies coming sitting on our coffee and on the wall. Its honestly so shocking that a nice cafe like Bluestone would have such unhygienic conditions. The staff was super friendly though. This was my first visit, dont think Ill be going back again.
*WOULD RECOMMEND*This cafe is such a cute place to grab coffee or breakfast. Located inside the Warwick Rittenhouse Hotel, the cafe is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating available. I love the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the cafe. Every table has a QR code that pulls up their menu and ordering site so you can order and pay directly on your phone. The menu is health focused with a lot of nutritiously balanced dishes full of greens, proteins, and carbs. Although their food menu is not large, everything looks really good and in reality the food also taste good. Definitely one of the few foods healthy foods that Ive had that also taste good Their drinks menu on the other hand is quite extensive and similarly, they all look good too. Price wise, everything was very reasonable.*BREAKFAST*Beet latte - the name says it all. It was my first time trying a beet drink of any sorts and you can definitely taste the beets in this. It taste pretty good.Green baked eggs - Shakshuka-style baked eggs dished. Although it came out in a relatively small cast iron, this dish was filling. The chimichurri made the dish quite flavorful, not bland at all. I love the runny over easy style eggs. Solid mix of greens, proteins and carbs.*VERDICT*I would definitely come back again. Great place for healthy conscious eating
Service was actually not good. Server forgot about us, we had to track them down to finally get water brought to our table. But the food was very very good and I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just a bad day. Really want to love this place! We had a breakfast sandwich, half avocado toast, and yogurt & granola.
Everyone was standing around confused on how to order or what to do. No staff appeared interested in guiding or helping anyone. Seemed like you needed to order at a kiosk that a girl was scrolling through endlessly. I just left. Kind of a mess.3 stars because they care enough to quickly respond.
One of the best breakfast spots in the city for sure. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are A1. Everything came out quick and the staff is really friendly!
I enjoyed breakfast with my husband at the Bluestone Lane Café. Our food was delicious, freshly flavored and nicely presented.Upon entering, we were a bit confused about what we needed do in terms of ordering, but the staff was super friendly and provided direction.Once seated, Dan explained the café is fully digital. I was a bit apprehensive at this point, because I was concerned dining would have a fast food feel and that was not what we wanted.I would like to applaud Dan, and the other young ladies who attended to us during our visit. They were attentive, friendly, and concerned about whatever they thought we could be concerned about! Even with the innovative approach of the café, hospitality was not sacrificed.Kudos to you all. We will indeed return.
Had a lovely toast and cappuccino here. Place is cute with great customer service!
This place is a mess. The portions are expensive for their tiny size. You order a hot sizzling pan to discover there’s no place to sit.
Exceptional service, super friendly and hard working staff. Located in a cute sunny spot. Highly recommended.
NOT CELIAC SAFE. I was ordering for myself and my partner who is celiac. I asked if the soy they use contains gluten and they didn’t really know the answer but told me no. As I was watching I observed one of the prep staff holding bread over open containers and cutting the bread in half in the air- which is just weird and unsafe in general too. Next I watched the same person walk over to where my partners food was being prepped by someone else and take a loaf of some baked good and bang it on the counter next to her food. I also couldn’t tell if the prep cook working on her food was wearing new gloves and taking precautions. I had told the woman ringing me up that cross contamination was an issue. I don’t think it clicked for her which is why I decided to watch carefully. While open kitchens have risk for contamination I do expect a minimum level of safety. Watching one of the the prep people working idk if any are really taken, not just for gluten so eater beware. On the plus side the manager got it right away and was going to refund just her food. Comped me the whole meal instead when the register was acting up. Food was fine. Coffee was solid. If you don’t have food allergies it’s not a bad choice but if you have celiac I’d avoid, staff is too young and immature to really ‘get it’. Might need staff to take some food safety trainings if they are going to be making food.
First time here. We came in and saw that there are different ways to order. But there was no clear direction/instruction or welcoming from the staffs. We ordered food and coffees from the kiosk first. But we were told later that we have to order from the table QR code if we want to dine-in. We had to start over our order again, but the QR code/website did not work. Staff did not come for help so we had to go around the store to find someone. Food was ok, but service was unprofessional.
Look guys, your restaurant has so much potential yet it falls short in a few key areas that really affected the experience.1. Price justification per amount of food and service. You could get away with these prices if the portions were larger, and waitresses were around. We sat outside and had no service other than dropping off the food.2. I think youre trying too hard with the online ordering system. The website had several UI issues making it difficult to navigate, and putting in my CC info on my phone is annoying when a server could just swipe it. Also, theres a reason people like to sit down at a restaurant other than for the food: the service. Its part of the experience of eating in-house. If I wanted takeout, I would have ordered online. But sitting down and ordering online is bizarre, just give me a menu and let me actually interact with the server. Again, if you want to charge 15-18$ for a 5inch egg skillet, service is absolutely essential.3. If Im sitting down at a restaurant, dont make me pay, and especially dont make me leave a tip, before I eat. Even Dennys doesnt do this. It goes against every incentive the server has to offer good service for a good tip. I pay beforehand--this incentive is taken away. And it was, we only saw the server 1 time.I really wanted to like this place, however these key areas really need to be addressed by the management. Its the difference between 4 vs 5 stars on Google.
Super friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. The breakfast burrito was excellent. Fun drink options as well that we’re excited to try next time. Thanks Bluestone!
Unbelievable breakfast. amazing dishes, fantastic hot and cold drinks, and a vibrant, personable, and assisting staff
I really had high hopes for this place since moving here and to be completely honest it was a train wreck. Walked in and the crowd is directly by the front door. There’s 3 different ways to order coffee or food but there was no direction, no welcome. The flow is a headache. We wanted to sit outside but where are the waitresses? Also didn’t get espresso in my coffee when it was paid for. Bad experience maybe I’ll try again one day but don’t expect it anytime soon.
Great coffee and friendly staff.. delicious food
Great Australian coffee shop with a sophisticated yet relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The flat white was exquisite. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.
A little pricey for a coffee shop, but my chicken wrap and mocha coffee were absolutely delicious.
Got food poisoning this morning from the breakfast bowl. Failure to wash the greens properly is just inexcusable. Do better. I dont understand how this happens at a place with more staff then patrons. Management should be fired.
The most friendly and accommodating staff Ive ever encountered at a cafe. Being from out of town, this was certainly a very warm welcome to the city! The cafe featured many gluten-free baked goods (the brownie was amazing) and it served one of the best chai lattes Ive ever had (try it with oat milk!).
When it first opened, Bluestone Lane was great. Truly an Aussie style coffee shop. Unfortunately, they may as well be a Starbucks now. The coffee milk was fluffy and airy, not creamy and velvety like a flat white should be and it was waaay too hot for good coffee. The chocolate croissant was cold - they didnt bother to heat it it to melt the chocolate inside. And as for the Lamingtons, they just looked sad...
Great service, excellent food and coffee. I cant wait to eat inside, but outdoors was great. Table was sanitized before we sat, heaters kept us warm. I liked the easy no touch ordering and paying. Server was friendly but not intrusive.
Cold poached egg to the point that it wasn’t even runny anymore. They also ran out of mushrooms, which was a main part of my breakfast but didn’t let me know ahead of time. I had to ask about the missing mushrooms!!!! When I brought it up I was told they ran out but was not offered any sort of substitution or the option to choose a different breakfast. Was NOT worth the $17 AT ALL.
I had a really lovely brunch here with a friend. Everything was great — the food, the hot chocolate, the service. They don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own alcoholic drink.
Finlay, bluestone is in Philly! I am so excited about this. However, the coffee is not consistent yet. I hope they would improve this point quickly. The shop is clean and bright at the corner of 17th street and Locust. I also like the fact no much coffee grains waisted.
Delicious food and drinks. Ordering digitally is a little odd.
Nice vibe. Good coffee and food
Great coffee, solid croissant & fast, personable service.
Bought a dirty chai here for a pretty gal!
Food is good, but I ordered the avocado toast and got two pieces of toast one day, the day after I ordered the same and got one piece of toast. This was a delivery order (for the one piece of toast with toppings it added to more than $30, which is fine, but to expect two and get one is very misleading and inconsistent) and of course there’s no way to report it immediately and have it fixed.
Best latte Ive ever had, twice in a row. B.L.A.T.E is a full breakfast in a bun.
Im not a coffee drinker but I really like the Flat White I tried today. Will consider buying again
Great service, terrific food. Not to be missed when visiting Philadelphia
My go-to for an excellent cup of coffee served up by an always smiling and friendly staff.
The avocado smash and the breakfast bowl were incredible- Dan was a friendly, fun server and helped us find rainy day activities in Philly for the weekend. All around an excellent breakfast.
Not sure how this place obtained a 4.3 Zagat rating. The swing top bottle seal had a ring of black mold. Variety is minimal but the sandwiches and coffee lattes are good.Although steeped with fresh spices, the chai latte requires pour and strain steps to prepare, this subsequently removes the crema top.
Food was excellent, super great location. Will definitely be back!
Long wait for food and unproffesional service
Healthy and delicious breakfast with phenomenal coffee.
Service was so not good, quite rude and they did not allow me to sit in the dining area without ordering food even though I ordered a coffee (I was working on my laptop and the cafe area didnt have working outlets. I decided to buy a small piece of bread and it was totally overpriced and its even a little dirty inside the restaurant. But mostly I just remember the girls here being so rude
Great coffee and food, but always busy so prepare for the long wait
We went Here 2 weeks ago with my family. First of all staff was not friendly to begin with. Food is average but prices are high, not worth eating here. They also make you pay the tip before being served ! This is unheard of. Not to mention there are plenty of high ranking breakfast places to go in this area that we been to .. we just wanted to go somewhere different but regretted it after having to pay over 70$ for two coffees, three breakfast plates and a cold drink. Don’t waste your time and money here ..
Great coffee
Amazing coffee - iced mocha!
Always amazing food and coffee. I love this brand.
Dropped in on Tues. Service is consistently great. This place has a good atmosphere.
This place will surprise you. menu is similar to a restaurant in el paso i liked.
Great service and delicious food. Just be warned, this is a place for rich people. I had one slice of $14 avocado toast with feta and tomatoes, which was delicious- but I left still hungry and got another meal less than an hour later.
Nice cafe inside the Warwick hotel. Cold brew was strong and smooth and the croissant was tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Note: if you have a stroller, access is difficult as you have to go through the hotel to get inside.
The coffee had a good flavor but the brownie was not good at all. The place was nice and well lit for reading, and the staff gave you your space instead of being all over you trying to either get you to spend more or leave. The music was well picked for the chilled atmosphere and made taking easy. Recommended for coffee and breakfast; not pastries.
Super friendly staff.
The Whole Staff Rocks !!! Always right on point !
Yummy zucchini bread - so moist and gluten free!! Latte had a super cute design in the foam! Love the 🏳️🌈 welcoming atmosphere!

Good food
Overpriced food items with small portions. This place is the reason why millenniums won’t be able to afford to buy a house. They are overpaying for avocado toast. Food quality was ok, the staff are great, friendly, & pleasant. If you are looking for food plates to take pictures for your Instagram, this is it. :)
I am feeling the value of food is not that high. A glass of juice priced at $9 and averagely $30 per person for a meal if you ordered a crafted coffee drink and a sandwich. Tried their avocado toast and the other special which gave me a okay feeling without too much surprise. Really didn’t like the way they charge you for tips, instead left me alone to write down the amount I wish to pay, they hold the machine and stared me. The minimum option is 18%.....
Entirely too overpriced. Basic breakfast sandwich for $14? Please. I had the largest breakfast they had and it was just... no. The poached eggs made everything soggy and unpleasant. If you like sugar in your coffee, be ready - they only have Stevia (which tastes terrible in coffee) and Sugar in the raw (which takes forever to dissolve) to sweeten it. Save your money, find a diner. For Gods sake, Id even say to go to the McDonalds around the corner rather than here. Same quality of food, fraction of the price.Neither my wife nor I finished our whole meal, and it wasnt because we were full.
If your visiting, do yourself a favor and choose a handful of better breakfast spots within a 3 block radius. This review is directed towards the price point of the food and portion size. Got the breakfast bowl with quinoa poached egg avocado and greens. Sounded great on the menu, but upon delivery of the “breakfast bowl” I was highly disappointed. A single sadly pouched egg, not even a 1/4 of an avocado, a dash of quinoa and oil soaked greens topped the dish of. To pay $15 for this is ridiculous. Keep in mind this is also a hotel cafe, which probably explains the price and quality.
This place is actually very cute and cozy, however the level of customer service is slight poor in my opinion. It seemed like I was bothering them when I was ordering my coffee and asked a few questions. I wouldnt recommend or visit again.
Yum! I loved everything. So delicious. I recommend it highly. Note: Credit or debit cards only. No cash accepted.
I love this place! Ive been to the Rittenhouse, CC, and King of Prussia locations. The coffee and avocado toast are delicious and filling.
Called in for breakfast and coffee of course. Iced latte and flat white were 👌. As well as the Avocado smash and the Porridge. Both a must for that healthy feel good feeling start to the day. Good service and worthy of its rating.
This place has some of the worst service I have ever experienced. The wait staff was so unknowledgeable about the menu that we could not get any help. We actually left there without eating.
No variety, terrible hours (close at 5:00 pm!), and the most annoying thing is they do not accept money, that’s right, no cash! So you have to buy your over-priced cup of mediocre coffee with your credit card..inconvenient. The staff is not very attentive though they are polite once they acknowledge you have been waiting at the counter for 5 minutes.
Coffee is fine, if you have a debit or credit card. No cash? dont go. (they do accept cash tips)also no seating unless ordering waiter service.
Great food and coffee. Excellent service.
Good place and good service but the coffee(latte)was strong, maybe i will come back again to try another kind of coffee
Very nice coffee and brownies. I like the tone and atmosphere of blue-white blended furnishings. Maverick coffee beans recommended!
Can verify the coffee with cow milk and almond milk are both good, as well as the takeaway tetrapack cold brew. Wow. Great find.
