If you have capital one—DEFINITELY come here. If you don’t, still recommend but not sure if some amenities are restricted. There is an entire upstairs extended seating area for hanging out and doing work. And there are deals for capital one customers (I got a free smoothie once as some kind of promotion). The coffee is fine iirc.
Absolutely chill spot to study or get some work done on your laptop. The drinks are phenomenal and Capital One employees SUPER friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend checking them out!
Im a Capital One Customer and STRONGLY recommend that Capital One adds full service banking to this fine Café. This could be a real game changer, powerhouse in banking altogether💯👍🏽👊 (then I would give 5 stars)!
Great to have a local ATM that accepts cash deposits for online Capital One 360 customers. (I think Targets also use Capital One ATMs). I havent tried the coffee or food but the Cafe looks really spacious and clean. Im gonna head over there later and check out the cafe and sit for a few hours. Good location.
Not just a cafe not just a bank. Its the best of both. Get half off coffee and drinks with a capital one account which makes my normal cup of Joe cheap. Wi-Fi is fast too for a public place.Been a member of capital one snice it was ING so this is nice to have a legit location to sit in and talk to someone about my account
Do not expect it to be an ATM or bank! it is just a coffee place. We wanted to open an account and make a deposit in cash. We were not able to do it. : ( Two people were “helping” us, their system was out and slow. We cannot deposit money on the ATM. Since we had a promo code to open the account they did not know how to use it on the app to open the account. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going to this place if you expect it to be a bank. We asked if I open the account on the APP, they could call somewhere to add the promo code and they were unable to help! It was very frustrating experience. I have been using capital one credit card for a very long time, it was a disappointing experience.
Homemade macadamia milk! Enjoyed my iced almond macadamia nut latte. Very minimalist coffee shop that reminded me a little of blue bottle. Great place, very open and bright, but no outlets. Theres a cute little lofted seating area too if need a space for a few others.
Capital One card holders get their coffee for half price. You cant beat that. I love the new location. Always friendly service and a wide selection of breakfast items. They hold events here where they feature other eating establishments menu items. Its a bonus being able to try cuisine from other places free of charge.
Have passed by this place many times in center city, but never stopped in until today. The staff was very friendly and helped me around the menu, ended up getting a hot chocolate, the atmosphere is also great! I felt very welcomed by the staff and their smiling faces. Definitely will be back! :)
Pro: great study/work atmosphere, and I love the food events and happy hours, also always very friendly staff!Contra: It is WAY too COLD in there. I come in shorts and t-shirt and need to bring an additional sweater or even jacket. Most guests at the Cafe do that. This makes no sense from a comfort & environmental perspective and is unfortunate
Why cant my hometown Washington DC have one like Capital One cafe? 😪 As a capital one user, I am glad my money is used well by Capital one to develop great community outreach. I happened to see the cafe as I visited Philly and I am glad I went in to check out. I signed up for pilot to use new credit card design . I look forward to the new card design. The bank ambassadors are pleasant to work with and the new ATM design is neat!
3 of the 4 Atms that I seen were not working.
Love this beautiful and clean area to sit, study and enjoy some coffee. Very productive work environment.
Coffee is delicious and if you use your Capital One card the $6 coffee will only cost you $2! There are changing docks on the counters and upstairs has many private conference rooms and study areas. This place is also extremely clean, bright, and there are nice views, especially from the little tables on the second floor.
Best cafe around! Plus if you have capital one then coffee is 50% off all the time! The location has two floors with private break out rooms for calls or studying and plenty of other setting. The staff has always been very kind so I highly recommend capital one and this cafe!
Nice spot - Ive been a CapUno customer for years. The coffee-ordering process is a little strange - kind of drone-like. You order in one spot and they walk away from you and call it out - as if I am somewhere other than exactly where I was when my order was placed.
BEWARE - DO NOT EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO DO CONVENIENT BANKING AT THIS LOCATION. IT IS CONSTANTLY HAVING ISSUES, AND THE PEOPLE ARE NOT ATTENTIVE, OR CAPITAL ONE DOES NOT GIVE THEM MUCH AUTHORITY TO HELP ANYWAY. ITS BEEN ALL WEEKEND THAT YOU CANNOT EVEN PUT IN DEPOSITS. UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING THIS CAFE AS WORKSPACE AND WANT FREE MEDIOCRE COFFEE ALL THE TIME, STAY FAR AWAY, FAIR WARNING TO YOU ALL.
Nice place to work and their Peets coffee is pretty good. I really like their banking services too! Ive actually gotten 3 other people to sign up with them. They also offer some great free services and financial classes here. My boyfriend and I took advantage of their Money Coaching sessions. The counselor was so nice and the sessions really helped us!
Love that place! Theres always some event happening. I know the workers by face (am always there working on my laptop!). Friendly staff as well! Just talk to them. They also have very interesting workshops!
Busy, but spacious and therefore not too loud. Plenty of seating. Love the natural light. Coffee is aight.
Largest coffee shop in the area, offers great coffee and convenient working spaces. Check out their happy hour too! (Hint: free coffee)
Its a nice coffee place and they offer you a discount if you have a Capital One account. Unfortunately though, the bank part isnt that great. I didnt have my debt card (ordered a new one) and drove into Center City thinking I could deposit a check there. It turns out that while they have people to help you with certain aspects of banking like comparing account types, they dont actually have tellers. The only way to deposit a check is through the ATMs.I still love my Capital One bank account and they have one of the highest interest rates available but Ill keep using the online banking features and not waste time driving to the cafe again.
I had many questions regarding Capital One 360 so I went to the main desk where Ryan helped me and he was amazing! He was professional and thoroughly answered all of my questions/concerns. This will definitely be my bank of choice going forward!
Great place to get some work done in Center City for CapitalOne customers. Im not big on brand loyalty, especially with banks, but this cafe is an awesome additional perk of being a customer. They also run cool events that are free and open to the public.
Love this place!
I just may open a bank account. Their cafe is probably the best place to work outside of home. Limited food items but they have Peets coffee which makes up for it. Nice staff too!
The staff are excellent, friendly, very helpful and help meet my banking needs with ease. The café is a laid back atmosphere and typically isnt too overcrowded. There are always cool events happening and some goodies being offered. Overall a great place to open an account and stop by before work to grab a coffee and a breakfast or lunch for the day. 5-star quality for sure.
I love coming here for coffee as a Capital One customer. Great atmosphere to relax at tables and do work/chat. ATMs on site-Cap One Reps there if need assistance. 1/2 coffee you cant beat that. Love it here!
Great cafe and spacious seating area. Highly recommended 👏🏻👍🏻
Customer service by phone and in person was fantastic. Friendly, helpful and great cappuccino to boot.
Ive spent a fair amount of time here with my friends playing Ingress and we love it! We love grilled cheese day, and when they feature a local restaurant. It feels more like a community joint than a corporate joint... Even though it def feels like a corporate joint. Lolz. Not too bad for being smack in the middle of center city and being a bank! Haha!
As a Capital One customer, I get my coffee for half price. The staff here is super friendly, and they are always having free events... today I had a free grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. They have many money-related events, from learning how to save, budget, get a loan, etc. The Café offers coffee and light bites. Excellent free Wi-Fi. Tons of sunlight from the two story windows. I love this place!
A really great spot for meetings or doing light work. Usually pretty quiet and not too crowded compared to other cafes Ive been to. Have not used the banking resources extensively.
This was a cool atm location. Not from the area but this atm was located just within a cafe. I liked that it gave out other bills like ones and fives.
What a great space! Its almost a co-working space with business nooks and electricity everywhere. Half price drinks with your capital one card!
Love the location, staff, and best of all discount when using the CapitalOne card! The place is very spacious, enough outlets, and an overall good vibe. My new study spot in the city for sure!
THE REASON PEOPLE LIKE IT HERE IS BECAUSE OF THE CAFE, NOT THE PUBLIC BANK HELP. When I was adding my password everybody could see my username & password I chose. They need to move the bank help desk to the back or upstairs for privacy. ( Read in reviews theres an upstairs.)Theres a lack of privacy so you do not feel secure dealing with these people. Also is seems the bank people seems to have no professional attitude. Its more like having a Micky Ds employee handling your private matters. Anybody in the store can see your private matters as they go to the tables. The Bank help desk is located at a choke point about 5 feet wide. If the place is busy youll be in the way of Cafe customers going to & coming from the tables. The cafe is very small, unlike the commercial.I had to go there to get my username and password. Since there are no bank branches near Philadelphia, PA, I will be going to a real bank that respect privacy.
Not crowded today. Still a nice place to get a coffee/tea and catch up on your emails.
I love going here. Free ATMs, a coffee and pastry bar. You can pay bills through the automated system. And have small group meetings or just hangout with friends. Free WiFi! Check it out!
This place is amazing and has all the requirements that I personally like. Clean environment, family friendly, small rooms and even have some comics on the glass and wall for entertainment this place also has free wifi for people who has a laptop and charger outlets.
Good
Discounted coffee when paying with my Capital One card.. what else needs to be said!Bustling and full of good coffee aroma, this spot is a great landing place between client meetings and a place to spend an afternoon getting work done away from the home office.
Capital one card holders get 50% off drinks!Peets coffee is a staple in California providing very high quality coffee drinks. Thanks for coming to Philly! The bank people are there to help, but not pushy at all if youre just in and out for your coffee.
We covered (photographed) an event for SparkPay Capital One. Customer interaction was great and everyone loved the food and beverages that were provided. The staff was very friendly. Its a great merchant to have for any small or large business accepting credit cards on the go.
First time at this location. Nice setting. Curious about nook and meeting spaces. Had a pleasant visit..will visit location more often than starbucks
You can do everything that pertains to capital one banking. You can also use their WiFi and chill out and have a snack. They have a coffee and Danish shop. Im so happy that there is finally a capital one cafe here in Philly.
I am a fan of Peets coffee however I was highly disappointed at this location. On both occasions, I was served by baristas (caucasian female and male) who were either scornful or disdainful. Female barista got flustered at my questions on the menu. I asked to have my coffee in a mug but received it in a paper cup instead. As opposed to the Petes coffee on the West coast where lattes adorn artistic motif of the cream in the form of swans or hearts, this experience felt like buying trashy coffee at Starbucks. Would not recommend this place if you want the real Peets coffee experience.
Have to say koffee here is pretty good and service for card holders is refreshening. The elegance of the layout, cleanliness all around, and fixture is welcoming. It’s a great spot to stop by for caffeine and socialize with the humans here.
Oh, were it true that you got a free cup of coffee with every deposit! But its still a cool place, to be sure.
The employees who handle the banking are a dream. Always helpful and pleasant. The baristas leave a lot to be desired. To quote the tv show Absolutely Fabulous - You can drop the attitude, you know. You only work in a shop.Im not expecting to be the barristas friend, but I dont enjoy feeling as though Im bothering you on your morning shift. Especially when told to swipe my card as if Im a school child who hasnt been listening to teacher.
A great place, with great coffee and a great staff to. Did i mention that Capital one 360 is the best bank ever. A bank that really cares about their customers....
Great for a quick cup of coffee. Capital One cardholders get half off their drink which is an unbeatable deal!
Another place that serves great koffee and makes me fall in love with capital even more :))
Can I use Peet’s coffee gift card here? If anybody knows this one, please let me know. Thanks :)
Best bank. Half off coffee when you pay with your cap one card!
Its an excellent environment to do banking great employees..... shout out for Marriel for going above and beyond..... great customer service. Ps hope I spelled her name right 😂
Very nice place to be and have coffee relax
I love their coffee but having only decaf and no coffee beans to make coffee is no way to go for a coffee shop. How about being closed on Sunday morning, whats up with that.
Really nice place. Like coming here with friends to just talk and gossip about things.
Really cool coffee shop and you get 50% off if you pay with a Capital One card!
This is one of my fav cafes! Yummy coffee, plenty of seating and the Capital One people are really friendly
Fast service. Love the modern feel.
I love this place. They need to be available in more locations.
Very nice and friendly waiters. absolutely great.
Great deal on Peets coffee (1/2 off) if you pay with your Cap1 360 cafe. Their seasonal cider and hot chocolate are particularly good.
I love that your drinks are half off with your CapitalOne card.
The most useless bank ever.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful place. Coffee and tea perform soso.
One of the best place to make your work done in cafè.
The top coffee shop to do business work or just chill in Philadelphia downtown
Two toxic, racist employees in one shift. E-mailed feedback to Capital One. Those reading reviews, find a better place to get your coffee. Theres plenty other than this one.
While the food here is disappointing, this is a cozy place to meet up with friends or just hang out to get work done. The meeting rooms upstairs are particularly nice for gatherings.
Huge, clean, comfy..what’s not to like?
Wonderful staff, beautiful atmosphere and great products make this a treat to visit.
They have polite staff and inexpensive coffee. Also places to sit.
Great coffee and great service. I choose this place over Starbucks all the time!
Its a great place to have a meeting or do work.
We have both checking and saving accounts with them. A week prior to the trip, called to get our PIN to get cash in Europe. Did you know, it takes 10 days to receive the mail & reset your PIN? They cant help you over the phone, you cant reset it online, you cant go to any branch and they wouldnt Fedex it.(like Amex or other banks) I wouldve gladly paid for the charges but they said NO.Well change the bank as soon as we return. We are switching to Charles Schwab!
Definitely had a great experience, the staff is more than accommodating.
I like the location, its secured and clean.
Staff is very co-operative, friendly, helpful, understanding! I want to see more 360 cafés!
Good coffee nice area to sit and work.
3 phone calls, multiple transfers, 1 guy said he fixed my account but didnt, everyone else just keeps transferring me around. Moving to TD
Very good coffee!
Fast and friendly service, and 50% off your drink if you pay with a CapitalOne360 card.
Update: The manger is working on becoming a trans friendly environment.A Capital One Employee at this cafe profiled a trans person and told them not to use the mens bathroom. Its 2018 and transphobia will not be tolerated. Grow up
Crepe place I enjoy myself there
My favourite places in Philly
Capital One customers get half price upon purchasing
Great place to meet up!
Really offended by the staff there today. My daughter ate yogurt some spilled. We wiped it down with a napkin as soon as it spilled. The Capital one worker went to ask for a wet towel and started wiping down the entire spot we sat at.Even the walls like we spilled something on there. Then she went back and kept wiping some more like we spilled a container of something.
Super star love it 👍🏻
Fast internet.
This place is unbelievably spectacular...
This is a coffee shop. Not a capital one branch
A weird concept - coffee house? Bank? Doesnt seem to be a great version of either...
