Today we went to have coffee ☕️ at OCF Coffee House. From outside it looks like a simple store like any other in the south Philly neighborhood! Inside it is beautiful and we loved the interior. Nicely decorated, neat and spacious with beautiful decor. Coffee flavor was great, unlike any chain coffee shop’s coffee! I loved the aroma of the coffee, it was so refreshing made my mind full with happiness and joy 🤩! Staff are friendly and helpful! Great experience 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I really enjoy the chai tea iced latte from here, they use amazing chai tea. The workers are always very nice, and its a great spot to stop in and grab a drink before walking around the city. The inside is very cute, and they have nice outdoor seating on the side walk.

This was a cool little spot that had a great iced latte and a pretty decent cup of coffee. The food items were good too. The staff were kind and engaging with their regulars. Felt very fresh and happy there with the decorating choices.

I bought a cup of coffee, sipped it on the way back to work (one block)- opened the cup to put more sugar in it only to find huge chunks of curdled cream in top. Disgusting.

Cappuccino + banana bread + bagel sandwich = a wonderful Philly breakfast/lunch. Lots of vegan items as well as lox available for the bagels. Wonderful cold brew as well! Definitely recommend.

Drip coffee is worthless

Got the cappuccino, very well done. It was made the traditional Italian way. NOT the chain stores way where they add half gallon of milk. Double shot in a small cup with 1/3 milk, 1/3 foam... Was awesome!

They dont accept cash. Which is illegal in Philadelphia and discriminates against people that have cash. Also a person came in and asked politely to use the bathroom. And the cashier was quite rude stating three times that it was for customers only. Though I understand why bathrooms are for customers only the person seem like they really need to use one and could have used it.

This is 2nd I backed to this store. Always feel welcome and comfortable just first step when I walk in. The store so clean, fresh and peaceful that I decided to stay longer instead stop by and go. I can enjoy my time over here by windows with good view. I think the manager very good job, all staffs are friendly helpful and professional. Help me out that how good and different of many kinds of tea they have. Stay at good location south Street and Rittenhouse, hospital there... this s good spot for everyone who works round or tourists when they enjoy walking. And this place good for stop by for coffee, tea or snacks. Love this place. Be back soon!

Was the coldest day of the year and when I walked by had to jump in.Not only did coffee warm me up but the staff warmed me even more.They were delightful😊

Solid grad hospital spot for refueling! I really like their draft latte. Internet is sometimes a little spotty, but otherwise usually a quiet and chill place to work. Don’t have the food offerings of say the Fairmount location, but have a few sandwich/bagel options and smoothies (which are great) to chose from!

Excellent ice coffee custom-made smoothies hit the spot on a hot day. Gluten free selection was very positive on the pastries. The biscotti took me back to the streets of Milan. Unexpected up charge on the smoothie with no banana but it was worth the extra $.80. We didn’t catch the barista‘s name but on a Friday afternoon she provided fantastic service.

I’m a harsh critic of coffee and I can say this place has some of the best coffee I’ve had in a Long time. I got a simple Americano and it was smooth with no bitterness.

Super nice employees, and the iced chai latte was the most flavorful Ive ever had. Way better than the typical chain coffee shop.

Their machiattos are NOT the same type as starbucks, theyre traditional & tiny. they have plant milks, but no gluten free food which is opposite of what the website was saying. staff was super nice!!! & my chai tea was delicious. ALSO- they have lavendar syrup.

It might be fine for a plain cup of coffee, but the 2 drinks I ordered didn’t come out right at all. The chai latte was sickeningly sweet. The regular latte was scalded. With all the amazing cafes in Philadelphia, this one is skippable. Isn’t OCF a real estate company?

They offer a very wide selections of herbal & antioxidants teas. With the option of purchasing they kettles which keeps it piping hot.Youre also allowed to small samples.They also have free WiFi. The atmosphere is clean and relax seating area accommodating one to four guest at once.

An excellent little cafe, they do very good work in there and have excellent coffee. A very calm atmosphere to just hang out in for a bit.

As a company and as a customer we love this Coffee House. We have been going for about 5 weeks consecutively now and we are hooked on them. See you again next week for our next dog training lesson!

Love this place! I come here when I am visiting friends in Philadelphia, its definitely the best coffee in the area. A chill spot to sit and work remotely. Another reviewer mentioned bad experiences with the barista Lily, but I think shes lovely. I was behind that reviewer in line I believe, I think shes upset because the barista politely requested that she not put pastries by her nose. The girls at the shop always work well under pressure. Theyre usually by themselves so it must get hectic sometimes. Again, great coffee!! Keep up the good work ladies!!

Had some of the worst tea I’d ever tasted. I nearly choked when I tasted it. The staff were nice and polite though.

The water was warm at best. I didnt think you could mess up a BLT but it was sour. The woman at the counter was very negative. Never going back.

So I decided to try a new coffee shop after work and I tumble upon OCF. It was a really nice cute place, but service was pretty bad. Im all about great service because I do hair in the area. The cashier that night seemed a little standoffish towards me at least. He was more concerned about who he was texting instead. The empty tables was not clean. There were crumbs all over the table and I actually had to clean it myself. It was funny because the person came after me he was more attentive towards. Strange. One of the cashiers friend came by and they were pretty loud gossiping. I sucked it up, got some work done on my laptop. Sorry, I wont be going back there again. I rather walk a few blocks elsewhere.

Stopped in to grab a latte before work. The barista was busy chatting on a personal phone call. When she came to the register to take my order, she offered me stale coffee, as she didnt want to make a latte at 6:45pm (cafe closes at 7pm). Whats the point of being open until 7 if youre going to stop serving your main offering (youre a cafe, after all) 15 minutes before you close the doors? And no, I dont want your old coffee. With too many other coffee shops in the area, Ill never step foot inside this one again.

Great little coffee and pastry shop just adjacent to the UPenn facility on 19th and South. There are a fee tables available for hanging out with your coffee in tow. The pastries are really delicious and I highly recommend the almond croissant. I was told its rare for then to be available outside of the morning hours and after tasting one, I know why, exactly. If youre in the neighborhood and looking for a good cup of joe, this place is worth your time.

Ocf has a cosy atmosphere. The cafe on south is pretty small. Even so, it gets a nice amount of clients from the close by, Penn Rehabilitation/ CHOP.hospital, area. There are some trends with the water table which are somewhat offputting(Run off from surrounding neighboorhoods ) but that has nothing to do with the café itself. In fact the quality of service is stressed heavily. The coffee is changed regularly for freshness and the food is rotated well daily. The espresso is professionally made and the baristas make it with care and attention to detail.The staff is friendly and personal, good at taking orders and even memorizing regulars drinks so theyre ready before the question is asked.I was recently given a test employment opportunity. I do not, however, work here anymore. (Hopefully in 6 months Ill be ready) That said OCF cafe is a good place if you want La Colombé coffee without the stuffy La Colombé atmosphere. Its a chill, low-key cafe. The coffee is good. They have a nice big dining area compared to other places in the area so theres almost always a comfortable place to sit. They still offer a french press. Hassle-free wi-fi.Dont get pouty if the barista doesnt act treat you like a celebrity or something. Youre in Philly now. You pay money and you get coffee, whaddya want? They get an extra star from me because I never feel like Im being served by some poor soul who is afraid of losing their job at any moment just because some secret shopper didnt see enough of their teeth. Im in here fairly regularly and have always had a positive experience.
