This is the sweetest place. If you love cats then you must come by. They have coffee, tea and wonderful ice cream creations. You can pet, feed, and love on the kitties. If you fall in love you can adopt them too. Not to mention the owner is just the loveliest person. She truly loves all the cats and the customers. Highly recommend!!

We try to go there whenever we can. They always have cats with different personalities which makes it easier to find one you can take home. They also offer cute cat themed drinks. You can tell they care about their cats and always make sure they don’t overbook or exhaust the cats. You can’t just go in and take a cat, they make sure the cat will hve what it needs and that this isn’t just an impulse. They also support other places and make sure to help people with stray cats when they can. They’re so good at their job, they run out of cats often! Honestly when I’m ready for a cat, I won’t think twice before going there and finding the one.

The place is so amazing and ADORABLE, the cat room was phenomenal and well-decorated with the kawaii theme the cafe had. I had a hot chocolate here as well and I usually dont like sweets that much but it looked amazing in the picture I had to try. I was not disappointed, the drink looked the EXACT SAME MAYBE EVEN BETTER! The staff was also kind and efficient when it came to messes and service. You could spend hours here, enjoying the drinks or hanging out with the cats, 100% would come again!

This place is amazing to get a great dose of fluff, purrs, loving & delicious ice cream and coffee. My husband brought me here on a surprise date and It’s probably the best date we’ve ever been on. As an animal lover and advocate I can appreciate what’s being done here at this place. I will definitely come back! Such a lovely place 🥰

This place is the bees knees! The kittens were so adorable. They also had so many Pusheen decor! If you love cats, then you have to visit this place! They also sell cute merchandise such as buttons, tumblers and t-shirts.

The sweetest Kitty Cafe in Philly. If you love cats or just animals like I do, be sure to go to the Kawaii Kitty Cafe. Reservations are suggested for play time with the kitties. But what I love about this cafe is you can just walk in, get a great beverage, dessert,and view the kitties in play since they have a separate playroom. The colors are so cheerful and its fun to watch the kitties in play hoping they will find a furever home. This may seem strange but I found it odd they did not have something setup where you could make a donation for the animals. If you live close by I hope youll make this one of your frequent visits and consider adopting one of the beautiful kitties. If youre visiting Philly make sure to add it to your list of wonderful places to visit.

Im definitely coming back! This place is so adorable! I definitely enjoyed my time here with my friend a week ago, and absolutely enjoyed my green tea latte. It actually tasted not too sweet and not too bitter. It was just right. I absolutely love the design of everything, and I would honestly come back just for some of things offered on the menu, no lie. The people who work here are nothing but friendly and downright awesome. The cats are a plus; its a little taste of Japan without even being there. I felt a little cramped in the room I was in, only because the other guests came with a little girl who was all over the place at first. But in the end, we made nice and even talked to the little girl, who had an interesting story to tell, and got to know there are other cat cafes out there.

Every time I come, I have a great experience. I recommend reserving a spot beforehand. The cafe is so cute, I cant overstate how much effort they put into making the interior design as lovely and cute as they did. They have a selection of really creative drinks at the cafe, and some food items. The ones Ive had have all been great.The cat room is separated from the cafe, but you can bring your food into the cat room if you want. There are maybe 10 cats? Generally friendly, very cute. All adoptable.Shoutout to the staff member Dana who was super sweet, friendly, and answered all of our questions. You can tell she really cares about both the cats and the patrons.

So Kawaii!!! 🙀 If you haven’t been to a cat cafe you have to check this place out. You need to reserve a time slot beforehand (tell them how large your party is) if you would like to hang out with the kitties it is $11 a person per hour. (If you just want to grab a coffee and watch the cats through the glass partition you can do that too!)When you walk into the building, the door immediately to your right leads to the cat room, and straight ahead is the cafe area where you can order cat themed lattes. I loved knowing that by spending money I was supporting their cause, and all of the cats are up for adoption! (That’s the dangerous part; I went in with no intention of wanting a cat and I left wanting to bring one home!!)By the time we got there the cats were already exhausted with playing all day, and the area is a little small (the cat cafe in brewery town is more spacious but less cute) but I had such a fun time playing with the cats and taking in the cute decor. I’m bringing my cat loving sister here for sure!

I went just to check out this one of a kind spot in Philly and I left with a bonded pair of kittens!! Meet Bunny&Clyde(originally Carrot). The application was approved in 24 hours, PAWS is amazing, genuinely support everything they do. Even though I adopted two babies, I will be returning here frequently for a cup of coffee or their milkshakes.

What a wonderful place! They offer excellent drink choices for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They prepare the drinks in exotic ways. I had a mocha coffee that had a design of a cats face in the whipped cream. The charge is $11 to sit with, admire and play with the cats in a comfortable and clean room. These were about 7 kittens for adoption. After preparing and serving the drinks in a separate cafe room (for health reasons), the staff explained the rules which included not not picking up or handling the cats because this causes stress for them. We also had to make sure that we were careful when entering or exiting the room so none of the cats could escape. I sat in the room with about 10 other people who were young and they were very personable and friendly. It was nice to share a good drink and time with the cats among these other cat loving individuals. I highly recommend that if you love cats, check out this kitty cafe. The money is used to keep the cats fed and under good care.

Everything about this cafe screams cute! The cats are all so Adorable and loveable(and Adoptable too.) Everything was great inside. I had an ice cream and a Hot chocolate(in picture)and the hot chocolate was so adorable that I didnt wanna drink it!This is a trip I know I will love to take again. Way to go!

This place was adorably decorated. The cats were clean and healthy. It was very entertaining. Be warned though the litter box is in the same room as the cat area and if one of them goes, it really smells! But the adorableness and competency and attentiveness of the staff balances this! Everything here is cats- so be ready! It was a fun relaxing experience... I just felt as though the room was over packed. They need to schedule less people for the same time slots. Drinks and treats are a bit over priced but good and adorable (see below). If youre a cat lover, good luck leaving here without adopting a new furry family member.

This is the cutest cafe! I thoroughly enjoyed the appointment I had there. The kitty room is very cozy and decorated adorably. Couldnt smell any kitty pee or really anything like that, surprising since there are so many kitties. Its 8 people at a time, at a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are required, and when you arrive you need to check in up the ramp at the cafe.

Really friendly staff! Tasty drinks and a cute menu of snacks (we didnt order any ice cream - but it looked very tempting!). Iced coffee was good.The variety of cats was nice. A good mix of playful kittens and older calm cats. I was also surprised at the complete lack of odor. The staff here clearly keeps things neat and tidy. I also liked the separation of the kitty area and the cafe. Cute decor in the whole place.I had already filled out my adoption paperwork and been approved by PAWS (easy to find a link on the Kawaii Kitty Cafe site!) which meant I could take home a cat that day. Well definitely be back for a coffee and chin scratches with the cute kitties!

What a fun spot to spend an hour with some adorable cats! I brought my wife here, as shes been interested in visiting a cat cafe for a while, and this place was great! There were many cute kitties and they were all awesome. Even the ones that hide are nice if you try to pet them. I saw a cat under the blanket in the big couch so if you go there, make sure to watch out and ask about the cat under there because the lady on the job when I went there said she might adopt that cat. The woman who was working there was so nice. She had short hair and was wearinga all black and had a lazy eye but you look past that when you see how amazing she is. That place was amazing and recommend it if you have kids or just wanna hang out :)

I had an absolutely amazing time with my friends and myself at Kawaii Kitty Cafe on Friday 11/22/19 at 4:00 PM. This place is very clean,, and sanitary. They also have an impressive miscellany and assortment of cute cats as well as kittens . The staff were very friendly, amicable, and accommodating . The cats were also quite tame, hygienic,and sociable. They seemed to really enjoy being petted, and when I used the cat toys that were available to play with time . They have a fantastic menu, and I had their strawberry milkshake, with candy toppings on it which was quite delicious😋 and refreshing. I highly recommend coming here if you are an animal lover . I would definitely love to return. 🤗😁👍

This cafe is so cute! The decor is absolutely adorable and there are quite a few different drinks and ice cream flavors to choose from. Its $11 for an hour in the cat room, which may seem like a lot, but they are all rescue cats, so it helps to take care of them. Plus, its fun to spend time with the cats, which all seem very happy and well taken-care of. If you like cats, coffee, and/or cute decor, its definitely worth the visit!

This trip was a treat from the in-laws. We are all cat lovers and this was the perfect way to spend a few hours. Delicious frozen drinks and lots of sweet kitties. Well worth it!

I died of cat cuteness. Cute little cafe where you can have some caps and pet/play with kitties looking for adoption. Its a great idea to help cats get adopted quicker. All the cats were lovely. Most were sleeping when we were in there except for 2, but by the end we had some fun playtime!

You can walk in for treats and to watch the kitties from the window, but visiting with cats requires a reservation and payment ($11 per person per hour, on my visit) to support the work done to keep the cats healthy and support their adoption.

I would totally pay more money to come hang out with the kitties! I highly suggest making the first reservation in the morning and getting there on time. The kitties are more active then. They eat then and arent overwhelmed with lots of people. Its such a cute magical place. Im was so pleasantly surprised that the unicorn latte with beautiful blue whipped cream and sparkles was not super sweet. It was perfect! So glad I was able to restrain myself and not take home a cat. They genuinely all seem well taken care of and happy there. Will definitely be going back.

Of course you go here for the cats! The are very cute, and its even possible to adopt one if you are in love. The staff takes really good care of the cats and the cats have a pretty good life there. Since some cats get adopted from time to time you never know if your favorite cat is still there, but theres always new cats coming in! I had the over the top milkshake and it isnt the best milkshake I had but it was very cute and I didnt mind because there were catsCats make life better(Grey cat with short tail is Bob, the white kitten was new and didnt have a name yet)

The staffs are very friendly. All the cats are cute and adoptable. They support a very good cause in getting all these cats adopted and I really support them. The place is accessible by public transportation (with a little bit of walking). They dont have savory food, but there are many cafes and restaurants around the area. They also have lactose free drinks and vegan donuts from Dotties.

I highly enjoyed my visit! If you love cats then this is your heaven. Especially if for one reason or another you cannot have your own kitty, consider giving yourself and the cats here some love. Its a great idea to meet your new roommate before you get involved too so if youre thinking seriously about adopting a cat this is a great way to meet them first! Whats better than coffee and cats? This comfortable environment and attentive staff will make you want to stay all day. The cats are clearly well taken care of and happy with a variety in ages and personalities, but the best part is all the cats are adoptable. They have been very successful in doing so with 50 cats being adopted so far in only half a year of operation. This cafe is a wonderful addition to Philly! Will be visiting them again very soon.

This place is adorable and its so relaxing to hang out with the kitties! Be aware that they are cats and they do like napping... But we caught them at a good time and some of the cats woke up to play and snuggle with our group. The staff is so wonderful and obviously really cares about the cats, too. My only complaint is that now Im sorely tempted to bring another cat home!

We took our kids to see the cats here only to learn that only two out of our four children could actually go in. Young kids arent allowed, which I get. Waited around until kitty naptime was over to discover that it was closed for a private party. Atmosphere is cute and inviting and clean, but you basically have to call ahead and plan to try to get in weeks in advance. Not a drop by situation, so the kids were disappointed. Nice, well-run place though.

The coffee is tasty. They have a few kitty themed drinks that are funky and fun. The Cats are friendly for the most part, they tend to be shy so dont expect them to be jumping up and down when they see you. Its a cool place to bring a friend or a date.

The grand opening was fantastic! You can tell its going to be a great place. Not only were the kittens adorable, but the coffee was great and the owners were awesome! I had the pour over coffee, which Ive been wanting to learn how to do; I watched the guy do it and he even walked me through what he was doing. A wonderful experience!

Cats are adorable and the coffee was good, too. I love the concept of a cafe/cat adoption center. During the weekend you have to book a time with the cats in advance because it gets quite busy. I recommend going during the week.

Nice place, lots of cool cats. Went on a rainy day and still had a good time. Ive been to cat cafes in other countries and would say this is very much comparable. The nice part is that you can adopt the cats as well.

The cutest cat cafe ever ♡ I love how the kitties are up for adoption. This is a wonderful way for kitties to have a new, loving home. I havent purchased anything from the cafe, but I will when I come back! For those of you that are planning to visit, you will definitely have a CAT-tastic time!

Its a lot smaller than what it seems but its decorated adorably. The guy and girl that worked there werent very warm/friendly. Ordered two smoothies that took 20 minutes. They use the excuse that they have one blender. They also advertise food on their website yet there was nothing there but Sugar laden items. The explained to me that it wasnt worth it to keep other food in stock because it went to waste. But the website should reflect that because I came hungry. Otherwise the kittens were adorable too sit with. But I dont agree with them not letting you pick them up. Part of getting to know them and adopting them is fully interacting with them.

The place was AMAZING. Fun cat themed drinks available with a small snack selection. The cat room is clean and comfortable. The kitties are obviously well loved and cared for. Great place for a kitty latte and a chat!

Love this idea and had a good experience overall. Only complaint was too many people allowed in one reservation. There were 10 of us in the room at one time and not enough spots to sit so half of us sat on the floor. I would recommend 6 with a max of 8 people per hour.

These guys do amazing work rescuing cats & getting them adopted. Food is pricey, but all of the money goes towards the kitties care so its totally worth it!The milkshake is adorable!

Ive been to a lot of cat cafes and this one had the best cat experience! All of the kitties were so friendly and confident and were very happy to be petted and hang out. I wish the cafe had more options for food/drink but the options they do have are very cute!

Great place! Since it opened its saved so many cats and have even found foster/homes for sick cats! The staff is great and they’re constant finding new ways to upgrade and improve the store! If you like cats, and understand the basics of how to treat animals, then you’ll do just great here! You can eat in the cafe or you can eat in the lil area by the counter. They update they’re social media and website regularly so I’d advise looking at that and NOT google! I actually adopted my cat from there after going and visiting the cats for longer than I’d like to admit and the staff was always nice and understanding and never pressured me or made me feel bad for always being there. I went through a very thorough adoption process (I appreciate it, think it’s smart) and they provided me with everything I needed to take care of my new friend! Even gave me names of local vets to go to. This place is amazing!!
