Looks amazing on Instagram and I had it on my list of places to check out. It was so unbelievably disappointing. I got the pretzel Sunday, which was almost $11. I received mediocre vanilla soft serve with hugely inedible pieces of hard pretzel. The were honestly comically large for I’ve cream topping. The second time I went I have the Pooh bear. Which again was just insanely expensive soft serve with almost 0 toppings. I recommend just hitting up a local water ice spot.

Such a sweet place right on Passyunk and right off the Snyder stop on the BSL. Absolutely love that they have been pairing with local bakeries like Second Daughter’s with their incredible brownies and Isgro’s cannolis. Honestly the sundaes are out of this world! They are pretty big and great to share. Can’t wait to see what bakery they pair with next for a sundae collab.

Everything they have is amazing. They’re water ice just takes more homemade than Rita’s. I’m a sucker for their extravagant sundaes! They’re just about $10 but you can easily split with another person or have two different nights as they’re huge!

Ice cream was great and lots of dry toppings. My sundae had very little peanut butter and fudge topping .

The water ice is much more like sorbet than Johns or Pops, so I wouldn’t compare them. Too different. The flavors we tried were interesting and intense. I thought they both tasted like thy were made with real fruit. Custard was pretty great too. Friendly service. But hard to eat! It’s impossible to get to the packed water ice without eating all the custard first. I wanted to eat them side by side! Need bowl option 🤔

It sounds simple, but the richest vanilla I have had. The flavour we had was blueberry guava. Fantastic. Check it out. Great to for a walk on passyunk.

If you want a epic treat, this is the place. Not only is it impeccably clean but the service is awesome. The Covid protocol is easy to follow. Daily updated IG menu, easy to read store front menu, a chalkboard with “at store” ordering instructions and several payment options, while also offering caviar pickup and delivery. The awesome human working tonight was friendly, helpful and decked out in gloves, face mask and a custom DEVO face shield. Plus he hooked our dogs up with mini vanilla soft serve treats, which they throughly enjoyed. Thanks again for a great experience, awesome treats and a reminder of summer during this strange time...to all those reading this DON’T FORGET TO TIP YOUR SERVICE WORKERS!!!

D’Emilios serves water ice with Manhattan prices on Passyunk Avenue. Their cup of water ice is 3.25 for something reminiscent of a kids cup or smaller. With several fantastic water ice places in the area their prices are high for their size. The flavor is great and you can tell it has real fruit, despite leaving a slight syrupy after taste probably due to some sort of syrup additive. They also suffer from a severe identity crisis, are they a water ice place and desserts or sandwich shop? For a place that advertises their water ice as the main attraction they seem to do more sales of their sandwiches. They would do better choosing between one concept rather than two very different ones. They would get one more star had the person serving me not handled money with the same gloves he then used to get my food.

Uh this place is so good. Great shop, awesome flavors. soft serve is perfect. From PhillyMag: “D’Emilio started out four years ago selling his ice treats — inspired by his grandmother’s sorbetto recipe — from a freezer attached to his motorcycle, sidecar style, at parks and farmers’ markets around the city.” Awesome. Welcome to the hood ✌🏼!

Pretentious, joyless, hipster vibe (after suitable wait, your rock-hard ices come on a hip metal tray). Overpriced? Yes. Good tasting? Sorta, in an overly dense and over-flavored way.Youre probably better off going to any authentic Philly water ice place, e.g., in no particular order Datis, Chucks, Johns, Pops, Italianos... theyre all better, friendlier, and more fun (and less money). Also, I guess these folks have an in with some celeb chefs who designed some sandwiches for them, I cant talk to that.Yes, they are better than Ritas, but that goes without saying. ;-)
