I love ice cream parlors. They remind me of simpler times.

Not serving soft serve at present. But theres plenty of frozen ice cream, sodas, and Gatorade. Mostly though its an excellent spot to buy pot paraphernalia: bongs, bowls, dutches, etc. And has good prices on cigarettes Ive been told. (Also the proprietor is clearly putting her elbow into keeping the place sanitized constantly, from the door handles to the debit card machine.)

Hand scooped Bassetts is the best and staff is very helpful.

This has to be a hidden gem because the place was empty on a Sunday evening in the summer. It was the perfect night for ice cream and plenty of outdoor seating. The variety of dessert options was awesome. There were at least 10 flavors of ice cream and the two I selected were exceptional! If you havent tried this place, you need to immediately!

Great Ice cream shop where you can get to-go pints as well as cups and cones!! There are vegan options available as well. The seating outside is plenty but you do get the noise from the train so prepare for that

It was the worst experience of my life !!! The employee that served me was very rude and unprofessional. As my husband finished ordering his ice cream I proceeded to order mines she took a sample spoon scooped it in the vanilla and ate it right in front of us (as if she wasn’t there all day )and could have sampled while she didn’t have customers right in front of her! I was disgusted and shocked I’m making it my business to call Philadelphia Health inspector to investigate because clearly she didn’t know she was not supposed to be eating out the ice creamDO NOT EAT ICE CREAM FROM HERE ‼️

Five Sisters Ice Cream is a great place!! Anyone spending time in Kensington area should definitely visit at some point~The ice-cream and fruits are sooo delicious and very fresh! Their pastries are just perfectly home-made. They even have my favorite aloe drink!! The cashiers and preparers are very friendly and the please is BEAUTIFUL (both inside and out)! Adding that pond, those trees, and other seasonal decorations really helps gives the town a sparkle~

Very ignorant and disrespectful cashier. She makes uncomfortable and awkward jokes. She also refused me service today on Oct 6 2019. There has been numerous occasions where service has been horrible and I continue to give them chances but I will never again step foot in this establishment again. We let these foreigners come in and set up shop in our neighborhoods and they have no respect for our people.

Somehow ended up paying 20$ for this, first and last time. Not my order. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s January and 17 degrees outside and nobody feel like going out to go get backwoods. This the closest store to get them. I usually by the honey 5 packs of backwoods here. But I went 10 minutes ago and they only stocked up on singles. Why? I had to skate in 17 degree weather to get a pack of 5 at quick stop. If you’re gonna market yourself as also selling tobacco products, then stock tf up on them, doesn’t make sense to stock up on just single woods, get the 5 packs man smh

It was a good service and I enjoy eat ice cream there .

I come regularly to this place. I noticed the lady advertises Bassett ice cream but saw her scooping out of turkey hill container. So Im guessing this container was old bc ice cream was freezer burnt and I found a bug in my strawberry ice cream. I will never come back again! This place lost my business forever!!! So mad!!!!!!

My experience at 5 sisters ice cream shop wasnt how I thought it would of been. The service kinda suck because the lady seen us coming into the store towards the ice cream part and took her sweet ass time to walk over ! Then after looking at the menu for like 3 minutes, I decided to go with a nice lovely sundae because of this awful heat wave were experiencing😕, for her to tell me that she doesnt have that stuff to make a Oreo sundae 😫😞 So second the choice I went with was a vanilla cone, witch wasnt all that great (softserve) ! Honestly everyone has there own opinion of how they want there icecream to taste so .overall I think that the set up of there benches were pretty nice and its was comfy to be there. I wouldnt go back just because
