Weckerlys is one of the highest quality homemade ice cream in the Delaware Valley. My wife and I stopped in Fishtown and ordered their ice cream sandwiches. Beautiful presentation, bold flavors, and on point consistency... I consider Weckerlys a must when I travel into the city.

I tried their lemon verbena blueberry ice cream and it was delicious. The flavors were balanced and pronounced. I need to try more things from them.

Holy Icecream Sandwich...I HAVE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF AN ICECREAM SANDWICH but since I had a delicious one in October 2020 at Eventide in Portland, ME i have been on the hunt for another delicious one.This wasnt the same but I thought the outer part was amazing almost like a chocolate chip cookie dough. I liked that it was thin and that it ate easy and not messy. The icecream was basic chocolate and vanilla but the three components together made it delicious.There was a long line on a sunday night and many flavor for popsicles and icecream. I loved that it was just a window you order for, it made it feel like an icecream truck vibe without being one.If you are in Philadelphia id give them a try.

Well…I’ve tried weckerlys so many times because many people love it, but man, I do not like this ice cream. Every time the flavor is off somehow, and the texture is crystallized, not creamy. I wish I liked it. ☹️

BEST ICE CREAM EVER!! My first bite was into the famous Weckerlys Ice Cream Sandwich back in 2016. Ive been addicted since. The mixture of flavors within the sandwiches make your taste buds burst. Its so heavenly. Im a huge fan of their Blueberry flavored ice cream sandwiches. Honestly, you cant go wrong with any of their flavors. I most recently had the Blueberry Breakfast and Peach Praline. Both were so delicious. Its definitely worth visiting. Give it try, if you havent already!

This is one of the best ice cream stores on the planet. The farm to creamery is so apparent in the taste of every bite. They always have some creative flavors that will entice most people like lemon cookie or rum raisin. But honestly their ice cream sandwiches are truly everything to write home about. Its not the sandwich from childhood. These sandwiches use real cookies or cake with layers of other goodness then some delicious ice cream in the middle!!!So good. Best ice cream sandwiches ever! Our daughter gifted an assortment for her dads birthday. Delivery was fast and easy. Each sandwich was individually wrapped. We devoured 4 varieties listed on the website. The sandwiches are fresh homemade cookies layered with creamy ice cream. They are large enough that you can cut and share them, if you have that much self-control.

Hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. Bold flavors that arent too crazy and always work really well. Everything is made from scratch (waffle cones, cookies for their ice cream sandwiches, etc) and is truly magnificent. Its a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Could not recommend more!

I love Weckerlys SO MUCH. Not only because its probably the best ice cream Ive ever tasted (or will ever taste), but they are truly wonderful people to work and collaborate with. They are genuine, friendly, creative, and professional.I would 10/10 request them to come cater an event again. And actually will probably do so in 2020. We had them cater a staff party for a fun treat during the midsummer lull last summer. Weckerlys staff was absolutely wonderful, everyone had something to choose from no matter what dietary restrictions, and everything was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Most delicious Ice cream I’ve had in a while.The chocolate ice cream and the chocolate chip one were good. The plum one taste like a weed edible so that was that.I ended up scarfing these down and got a second order of the minis, this time just one chocolate with vanilla and 2 of the chocolate chip cookie ones.Really good and worth all the extra calories 😋

A wonderful little neighborhood ice cream shop right in the middle of Fishtown. The ice cream sandwiches are unique at Weckerlys and they are trying a gem. Although I normally dont care for vanilla, theirs was amazing along with the lemon!

It was a great evening out and ice cream sounded perfect! It was our first visit and Weckerlys is a great spot for home made ice cream.They take their time preparing each order and there was a line. It was worth the wait! We both had a cone, one with Spring Thyme and the other had B.F.G. The Spring Thyme was definitely thyme-y, but very good. The B.F.G. had a great chocolate flavor with chunks of cake.I recommend stopping in, grabbing a cone and having fun!

Ive been eating Weckerlys ice cream since last year, and very recently found out that they have a brick-and-mortar store. Everything is made with locally sourced ingredients. I had the peach praline ice cream sandwich, and it was the BOMB! If you want some bangin ice cream, make a trip to Weckerlys. Totally worth it.

Very limited, unique flavors (e.g. mint with rosemary and honey). Very few traditional flavors. It’s the kind of place where you’ll probably either really like it or rarely come back. As for me, not my cup of tea but still it was high-quality ice cream with a very friendly staff.

Phenomenal, high quality ingredient, ice cream. Locally sourced, nuanced flavors. They make their own waffle cones on site. The Meadow Mint was out of this world! So full of flavor and refreshing at the same time. I couldnt stop saying meadow mint the whole evening. The mini ice cream sandwiches are great too.

Him and his wife have been making ice cream for a few years until they finally decided to open a storefront recently, and what a great addition to Fishtown!

Before Weckerlys opened their own location I was following them around the city to cafes and local art or community festivals, thats how good their ice cream is!! The ingredients are fresh and local, and every batch has its own unique flavor. Try a cup, cone or sandwich for yourself, youll be addicted soon too!

This was today i got the lemon 🍋 cherry and herbs flavor they have a name for it though it was sooo bomb I org. went looking for the honey lavender flavor hubby said they were all out... hope they bring it back will be checking in next week 😢i found this ice cream long ago at whole foods, now i come get it at the store love this unique exquisite ice cream!

If you want a good housemade I’ve cream sandwich Weckerlys is right for you. They have delicious flavor combinations and the sandwiches are just the right size. I have never tried the ice cream alone but i would imagine that it is just as good. The line is typically long on weekend evenings but it moves fast and you can also order ahead if you prefer.

I love the amount of ice cream they use. The also don’t melt as fast as most ice cream sandwiches.

Ice cream was really delicious. The staff was barely awake, but I guess I could have been handed an ice cream cone by anybody, so it didnt much affect me. The woman scooping the ice cream into my cone in the back was moving at a sloths pace, but I forgot about that once I had the rather delicious ice cream.There was very little space to form a line and the crowd kept amassing, as the serving window is shared with the pickup window. Itll take a good while to get your cream, but you wont be disappointed when you get it.Come for food, not the service.

The ice cream is wonderful, the staff is pleasant, and the flavors are creative without being too strange. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted, but with the help of the staff, I made the right decision. I definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be back!

I had been trying to get to Weckerlys for over a year ever since I came across their IG page. I finally made it there and was not disappointed! The ice cream was amazing! The service was great, and the store was very clean. I will definitely be back!

The team here agreed to have an ice cream cart at our October wedding and WHAT A HIT! They always go above and beyond. We still get compliments for having them at our wedding. Great, great freakin ice cream. Amazing people. You will never be disappointed with Weckerly’s.

Weckerlys is pure heaven! Their ice cream flavors are genius and so unique with new flavors constantly being introduced to the menu. They also make specialty ice cream sandwiches that blow any other ice cream sandwich out of the water with their flavor combinations. They also have gluten free and vegan options. They use quality ingredients from local farms. Because of this, its definitely on the expensive side but is completely worth it. I most recently tried a scoop of sweet cream stracciatella with homemade Oreo crumbles and hot fudge...it was killer!

Staff was super nice. Got the coffee Icecream and whipped cream. Whipped cream was gross, left a film on my mouth would not get that again. Their Icecream isnt a thick as I like or strong enough in flavor. Probably wouldnt come back.

This is the 2nd best ice cream ive tried in Philly (Franklin Fountain is my favorite). I got the sugar cone with a scoop of vanilla and cinnamon crunch. Absolutely delicious. This will be my go-to place whenever Im in the area.

Having Weckerly’s serve ice cream at our wedding reception was a real treat! Our guests, both those familiar with Weckerly’s and those who weren’t, all had great things to say. Working with Andy and Allie during the planning stages was a breeze, and the hardest part was just narrowing down on which flavors we wanted to serve! We would definitely recommend them for any occasion. Thank you, Weckerly’s, for making our big day so special.

Their desserts are wonderful! Be prepared to stand in line outside in the heat! They just need to add line ropes inside so not as many people have to wait outside. They did walk around and handed out free water!

It’s always something different at weckerlys and that’s what I love about them. I’ve never tried an ice cream that I haven’t liked. From something simple like cookies and cream to their beard of bees or spring thyme flavors - everything is delicious. They’re pricy, but it’s worth it.

This is my second post and I can not stress enough how I love visiting this ice cream shop. Its my piece of peace, the ice cream is so delicious. My kids enjoy very much as well.

Weckerlys has become my #1 GO TO spot for ice cream. Theyre menu isnt as large as some other ice cream parlors (though thats not to say theyre limited. They usually have about a dozen solid choices and Ive never found myself unable to find something that hit the spot). But really, I gotta say Weckerlys excels in quality.For me in particular, I love their freshly made in house cones. Best I think Ive ever had. If youre lucky you can get one while theyre still a little warm. I often find myself choosing a flavor almost exclusively because I think it will go well with their cones. (Which, if ever in doubt- their vanilla goes spot on. And Im not even a big vanilla fan generally, but Ill have a weckerlys vanilla cone anytime).

The ice cream is delicious and I wasn’t even in the mood for ice cream. The flavors are great. Parking is a little challenging in this area of Philly but it’s worth it!

This was my 1st time going there. I had a coffee ice cream 🍦 with a fudge filled cone... it was amazing. Staff was very nice and friendly and my grand baby was pleased with her ice cream 🍨too!

We read about this place from a Zagat article and I had very high expectations. My wife and I love ice cream sandwiches and they had some unique flavors to offer. Blueberry ice cream between cardamom graham crackers, lemon verbenna ice cream between sugar cookies, and chocolate/vanilla ice cream between chocolate chip cookies. This was a food highlight of ours and I highly recommend anyone passing through this area.

As soon as I saw they had ice cream sandwiches I knew I had to go. They are not at all your ordinary ice cream sandwiches. Very unique flavor combinations and the consistency is nothing like I have had in an ice cream sandwich, 5 Stars!!!

A weekly staple. Everything they make is so delicious and a rotating selection of scoops and their creative ice cream sandwiches keep me coming back for something new.

We discovered Weckerlys two years ago and havent bought ice cream anywhere else since. Its just phenomenal. Their flavors and textures are to die for. We always have a couple of pints in the freezer but often treat ourselves to their cones at the store as theyre mouthwatering! Oh, and every Valentines Day we get the box of chocolates - its a tradition now.

Great local ice cream spot. Havent had an ice cream sandwich in years but after seeing people walk out with one, absolutely had to have it. My wife had one of their rotating specials - a thyme ice cream - and is still talking about it months later. Ive been with groups and insisted Im not getting anything but once you go in its impossible. Tip: read the blackboard behind the register for additional specials and options, including getting your scoop rolled in cookie dough.

Weckerlys catered my wedding and they were the best vendor I brought in out of over 10 I worked with! They were professional and kind and just real people. Throughout the whole process they were on top of everything and then when they got to the wedding they brought their cart and served ice cream sandwiches and cones to the guests. Everyone loved the ice cream. I cant recommend them enough!!
