This service is wonderful. It is definitely worth the cost of membership to get this Service. This is the second time I used the car buying service. The first time was in 2014. I talked to different consultants each time. Both were very professional and knowledgeable about the different makes and models of Cars, financing and dealers. They both negotiated to get the best price for my trade in. This last time 2 weeks ago (June 2021) I worked with consultant Carol Day at the Mesa AZ AAA facility. She is fantastic, she has a warm personality with a great sense of humor. She got back to me within minutes of me emailing her with my request. I emailed her on a Friday with my preference. She contacted me to talk further. She worked over the weekend to find me what I wanted. On the next Monday I had a meeting with her to discuss what she found. I made my decision and she got the ball rolling on getting me my new car. We met that Wednesday to sign the papers and to take delivery of my new car. The whole process to 3-4 days total to accomplish. It was great that I didn’t have to deal with dealership salespeople. She took care of it all. If I did this myself I am sure it would have taken at least twice as long and I probably wouldn’t know if I got a good deal. Thank you Carol for making the process so smooth and easy. Buying my new 2020 Honda CRV - EX through AAA Car Buying Service in Gilbert, AZ was the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had, and I will never attempt to buy another car on my own ever again.On November 16, 2020 - I crashed my 2017 Ford Escape on my way home from work. Although I wanted to have it repaired, my auto insurance totaled it because of the extensive body damage plus the airbags had deployed. Reluctantly, I started the process of trying to locate a replacement car ASAP. However, as everyone knows - buying a car can be an extremely frustrating and stressful time. I visited my local Ford dealership and well as a Toyota and Honda dealership. I also reached out to True Car, Costco and Sams Club Auto Buying Service for assistance. Hugo was awesome! We were in the market for a used Toyota Camry but he was able to get us a brand new 2021 Camry for nearly the same price! Then he came to our house for the car paperwork, no six hours at a dealership But 90 minutes going over and signing everything. Then he found buyers for our 2002 Camry and got it taken of the balance of our loan for the new care. He came back the next day to finalize some paperwork and then he drove our old Camry away! This entire experience has been a real blessing and I encourage every AAA member to use this service. Im also telling everyone I know who needs a car that they might consider joining AAA.

We tried two different dealers to find the vehicle we were looking for and then remembered that AAA had a car buying service. I filled out the form on the AAA website and was contacted by Carol from AAA after a few minutes. I told Carol what we were looking for and within 30 minutes she located the vehicle, negotiated the price (better than Costco), and had it ready at the local AAA facility for us to pick up 48 hours later. Some years back, I bought a used pickup from Carl at AAA, and it was the most honest, friendly, and positive car buying experience Id ever seen. No tricks, no pressure, no gimmicks. Four years later, I went back and bought another vehicle (this one new) from Carl, and he remembered me. I have always dealt directly with dealers in the past and feel competent doing so, but I just did not have the appetite for it this time around. Kirk Wade was a tremendous help during the trade-in of our former car and the purchase of another car from a dealer. We had some challenges with the lender of our old car but Kirk hung in there and offered some sound advice as we waited for the title to show up. I had gone through AAA for a car a number of years ago and Mike Willand was my consultant. I was sure glad to find out he was still there. My wife and I signed to buy our car a while ago and had been waiting for title to come through. Well a car with a few more bells and whistles came up and Mike gave us a chance at it. We signed, but when we got home my wife said she didnt really like it. So I called Mike and he said bring it back. We did. Because he had left on vacation, there was a slight glitch, but he took care of it. When he got back today, the title from the original car we wanted had come through.
