Went there to get my power steering fluid leak fixed a couple of months ago and ended up having other repaires done also. I paid about $1000 at the time. Few weeks after the service, my power steering fluid continued leaking and had to take it back to him. He said he replaced the part saying that the part has a warranty and didnt have to pay at this time. Unfortunately, my power steering run out of fluid again because it all leaked. I went back to him again and he told me there is acually another part that needs to be replaced that cost $950. This is beyond emagination!!!! I genuinely wanted an explanation on how on earth i paid for diagnoses and service and have the same issue over and over again. He caudnt provide adequate answer apart from asking for more money. Extremely disappointed would be an understatement to the service I had with them!!!

I brought my car in with many computer and check-engine-light problems because I needed to get it to pass emissions testing. They used their computer-diagnostic scanner the moment I arrived to know exactly what needed to be done. They said they would have it ready the same day. Not only did they keep their promise and have it completed the same day, they fixed every issue at a fair price so that it now runs like a dream, and my car passed emissions testing that same day. They kept their word and gave me peace of mind driving my car now! Ill definitely use them again!

I have a BMW 2014 328i I took in for service. I thought I should check around as the BMW Dealer off Camelback Rd quoted me 1400 for the front and rear brake replacement pads that included new rotors on that price, plus Id have to ad tax on that so Id be around 1500.00. I went to CBS Auto Repair. I got this entire brake job done for 575$!!!!!!!!. These brakes are awesome!! and smooth to the touch when I brake. Im so happy I got a second opinion as CBS Auto Repair saved me 925$!!!!!!. There was a guy named Jim who works there, he was super nice. There is a little table where I sat and waited, and around lunch time, he had a driver drop me off at a local eatery called Mothers, the food was awesome and they picked me up when I was done eating lunch and drove me back to the shop. I would highly recommend this place, their prices are really in-line super fair!!!. This shop is 100% honest, no need to look any further if you need any car work done, its worth the drive hands down!!

Just wanted to update my review. I just want to thank Jim and his staff for their hard work. I really appreciate Jim for his commitment to quality service for an reasonable price. He has helped maintain my truck for several years now as well as my mothers vehicles. It almost feels like he cares that my truck is running well just as much as I do. I now consider him a family friend and will continue to bring my truck in for service.

They are a busy shop, part of that is due to great word-of-mouth business and part of that is due to them wanting to do the job right. They replaced my transmission. It took them about 3 weeks, but I believe that they did good & honest work and thats what was most important to me. Each time the estimated completion date was pushed back, I actually felt more confident that I was dealing with an honest shop and that they wanted to do the job right instead of just making money or having good numbers to show a corporate office. Because it took longer than expected, they offered me a loaner car and other things to make it right.

My husband and I have both had really great experiences with Jim and Cbs auto. Our friend recommended him and we had been going to 19th Ave. garage which good but is incredibly expensive. He fixed a doorlock issue for very cheap and on my rouge he honored the price he quoted me even though he ended up having to pay much more than he thought. There are always so many cars there but don’t be discouraged give him a call he will be glad you did it :-)

Jim is a great guy. Trustworthy and very knowledgeable. If he doesnt know the answer to your automotive problem, he knows where to send you. Or if he isnt an expert in what you want done, he knows who is and can refer you. He is priced right and always does quality work.

Went there on a recommendation, Im a retired mechanic but did not have the time with my current work schedule to replace starter on daughters car. Took car there I had already bought the parts. Was told 230 dollars for job. Was a little high on price but didnt argue. I also asked to have pressure check on engine done prior to install because of suspicion that edge had a bad head or gasket. Was told job would be done next day. 2 days later after no call I stopped in, car still sitting in same place. This went on for approximately 5 weeks or more. I eventually called told the I was picking car up next day dont do the work. I showed up to pick car up, Jim has it in the shop up on the lift. Said it would be done in the morning. I was mad. I left 3 days later I get call car is ready but wont start. I ask if he did the pressure check to see if head was leaking or if engine was locked up. He says no, but will do that. A couple days later he calls and says heads are both bad there leaking water. He gives me price of 3500 to fix. I laughed. I went down there to get car and he wants 650

Your locationI have been coming to Jim for the past 7 years since I moved on this side of town and he always kept my car running very well at resonable prices. He has literally rebuilt my car all over again and it still runs great! When I first met him he just seemed like a really down to earth kind of guy and really attempts to understand what someone is saying to him and he makes eyes contact. Now Jim may know the answer to the question already, but he is patient and allows the other party to speak until that person feels like they have been understood. This is what I really like about Jim and he may have 13 things or more going on at the same time. His wife is always very helpful when she is working up front and was able to understand my questions when I asked them. The other guy that helps out there named Rocky is a very pleasant young man and he will pick up customers to get their car when it is completed. I know this because Rocky drove across town to get me in Rush Hour traffic. He is always polite and courteous. There seems to be reassurance in Rockys silent way about him too. I always recommend anyone that I know to Jim because Jim once told me with a smile, I will never harm another human being. He told me this and I did not understand why he was saying this to me and Jim went to his cash register and gave me cash back because I overpaid and I didnt know that I did until he showed me the bill and what I paid him. I have been knowing Jim for years and this did not surprise me as this is just the kind of man Jim is. Jim will always give you a great price for the work that needs to be done. He is the only guy I will go to. Not just because of the price, but because I trust Jim. I almost forgot about Mercury the beautiful Belgian Shepherd/Golden Retriever puppy. She is great and always on the lookout too. ☺ Great folks in the neighborhood that are honest. I no longer live in that neighnorhood, but that is the only place I will go because I am thankful for them.

When I need somthing done in a hurry they get it done pretty quick for me and dont overcharge on labor. They have been in business for a long time.

Went in for break light staying on after car is turned off. They spent 15-30 minutes trying to attach a clip then tried to dump an $85 charge on me for no parts & 15 minutes of them trying to attach the clip. They ended up saying $40 for labor plus $15 for figuring out the problem. A few months later the problem still exists and when I went in to follow up on it they want to charge me again. No way can I trust these guys. Avoid this place, theyll just try to rip you off.
