I love this place. They have some of the most beautiful Native arts. Music, and more here. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I suggest a piece of beauty is well worth a gift to a loved one and yourself from this store. Check out my ladies here and buy. They have a few of my items on stock here too, so 😉 enjoy.
Good supplies, great atmosphere, and good discounts on most supplies. Very nice and friendly staff. Convenient location.AAA*****
I love the selection of native craft items. Many are hard to find elsewhere. They always have the BEST prices too.
Good People Knowledgeable about Indigenous ways and cultural knowledges
Beautiful native creativity. Tons of beads and beaded work. I bought 3 fleece blankets for my kids . Very good quality and nice and cozy .
Very friendly! Best selection of seed beads Ive ever seen in person!Google Maps says the store is closed so I called to check and see current hours.Turns out they were open! Then I got there and the door was locked and a sign says not to knock. I had called before I went so I knew they were open. I finally got in by calling and asking to please be let in, lol. I just wonder how many people have left because they thought it was closed?!Anyway, its a very nice little store. They have leather and beads, music, art prints and even a few very nice Native American flutes.I think theyd do better if it were unlocked and Google didnt say it was closed!
I believe in supporting small businesses, but no longer will I support this one. I’d rather shop on Amazon than support this store. My boyfriend and I came here on a quick visit to get some feathers for his carving projects and during our whole 20-ish minute visit I was being followed by the old white man that works here. There was a young white guy shopping at the same time as us but the old man insisted on ruining my shopping experience in the store. I’ve been racially profiled before, but ironically this time it was in a store that celebrates MY culture. So, if you don’t mind being awkwardly followed in a small closet-sized store by an aggressively suspicious old man (if you’re fair-skinned this probably won’t affect you) then go for it. As for me and my family, we’ll shop elsewhere :)
They got some cool stuff if your into bead work.
Was okay few things I liked.
We both are beaders. We love shopping at Drumbeat Indian Arts. Good selection of beads and craft items, not seen in other craft stores.
Been going here for years... always have just what im looking for... movies, books, beads, beading supplies, and authentic products.Good supply of Pendleton blankets, shawls n some hand made clothing.
Excellent and clean. Great customer service.
I love shopping on their online store conveniently from home in Anaheim, CA. My orders arrive within a week and it saves me a trip too! They always have something to enjoy and share with family. Also, I just want to say thank you Drum Beat Indian Arts for correcting my recent order! I called the store about my order and a nice young lady was able to help me. She listened to my concern and happily corrected my order at no charge and apologized for the inconvenience. I thanked her and she had the item ready for shipment same day. I am a happy customer. 😊❤️
Nice place to get traditional tunes
Closed today due to increased of COVID-19.
Got all my beading supplies. Good quality.
Always a pleasant experience with friendly knowledgeable staff. The only place in town I go for my supplies from books to sage to beads.
It was good to shop a indian store, but not too be told, yall hurry up and buy something, I get and understand covid, but Im going through feathers, dnt wanna be rushed, was uncomfortable !! Still bought feathers cause needed them, could be more tactful and better customer service !!!
Got my corn pollen to pray with. Love this Native store the most of all the ones in Phoenix. I always buy my sash belts from here to.
It is good but too pricy
Love it there. They always have what I need
Staff very nice prices reasonable
Always good service and helpful.
I just love this spot but the staff always seem like they are annoyed that they actually have customers they just dont give you that happy to have you in their store kind of feeling and Im pretty sure Im not the only one but like I said before it is the one and few only places that you can get authentic items indigenous before I forget they also have a great selection of books
Enjoyed the store, new policy due to COVID. Entrance is at the side of the building, allowing only thee people at a time.
I love this place. Due to covid, theyre only open 11am-2pm every other day and just 3 people at a time are allowed in in addition to sales persons. Not their fault in the time of covid.
Good people, good medicine. Was surprised at how much there is to choose from. Also lots of merch from Native artists. There may be a small wait as they are taking care not to crowd the store during covid.
This is the only place in the valley that sells the octagon seed beads
Just left drum beat store and the store hours says closed at 2 and the time was 1:38...the door was locked and I knocked on it, the lady with the tattoos, dark black eye makeup and long black hair, who is clearly not happy and not wear a masks yells at us and tells us, “we are closed now because no one is here, i say it’s not 2 yet” and I tell her, “I drove along way”, she says “the registers are closed and I come in on my own time”. She was rude and didn’t want our business, I’ll tell my family, friends and neighbors...as native ppl too they should treat us with respect and welcome us in too...we are trying to give them business. We will gladly take our business elsewhere! There was no negative stars but they definitely fit in that category!
Was a long me but good place to shop
Nice store. Did not have too many Native American trinkets like dolls or weapons for sale.
Love this little place for great beads!!
Drumbeat is the type of establishment that a little something for everybody.
Good store. Usually I do find what Im looking for there. Otherwise youll have to look online, or travel out of town. If you ask about an specific item that is not available, or out of stock. Maybe they can get some ordered in. Not for sure, but its does not hurt to ask. Also the friendliness could improve, or I must visit only on their not so friendly days always.
You have to wait! One at a time to go in and buy something! People dont want to wait! Losing customers that way!
The staff helped us find great jewelry to bring back to Texas as gifts for my mother-in-law, grandma, aunt and cousin. Each of the pieces we chose prominently featured turquoise, and they each had amazing handcrafted touches to them. We also loved seeing the dream catchers, handmade purses and other goods that would make great gifts for future holidays.
Great ppl great stuff
She was very nice and she help me pick out my glasses
They got some dope stuff here 🙌🏽
I love getting my beads from here also supplies for my dreamcatchers
Awesomeness 👌
Love this place. I purchase my sage from here when it dont find me. They have cool tee shirts and a good native movie/music selection.
Very nice small local store. Small collection of many items. Interesting
Great selection....
I just shopped in that store today. The ladies working there were great! I told Valerie I would come back and bring my family and my BFF so they could shop for some things as well. I love making jewelry so I was amazed and happy about the bead wall. I will definitely go back. They dont work on Sundays and Monday-Saturday they close at 5:30 pm. I like the fact that they have a good little business and still have time for family. Definitely going back.
Be sure to bring your sunglasses because when you enter the store youll notice how beautifully situated the inventory is and the colors are undeniably wonderful! Weather you just need a t-shirt, hat or blanket or Smudging supplies, a hand drum or some native artwork or anything in between, Drumbeat Indian Arts has got you covered!
Ive been wanting to come here for a while now and was FINALLY able to check it out. I loved it. It was clean, well organized and the service was great! Definitely will be coming back.
I enjoy all the verity of crafts that are made by NATIVE HANDS not some machine that MASS PRODUCED. Great prices and if u cant find it just request it.
This is the best place to go in Phoenix for all of your ceremonial regalia. They have almost all supplies needed to complete traditional garments, regalia and even traditional and modern jewelry. Awesome bead selection from pony beads to 15° and even smaller if you ask. They buy and sell completed native american pieces. I think you have to make an appt if you want to sell your work. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because of the store hours. They close promptly at 530 pm on weekdays and its hard to get there before closing during rush hour especially when coming from the other side town. It would be cool if they stayed open late just one day a week.
Nice native Indian craft store. Great customer service
Always a great store to shop .. love the way it smells as u enter.. they always have a movie playing thats captivating and makes ur stay longer ..👌💞👍
Good costumer service And from natural herbs, books, music and much more I recommend this place
Love going over there and getting good stuff for my grandkids.

This place was delicious! Very friendly staff, Amanda and Nanaba were wonderful!
Awesome place to buy some Native American jewelry, blankets and stuff.
I love going here to get my sage
Great place for non-commercial native cultural gifts and unique items. Traditional native books on herbs, childrens books, music, games and prickly pear candy!! So much more. I didnt find what I was looking for, but still found some great gift items. I will definitely be back again.
Overpriced everything unless youre desperate..order online its cheaper
Drumbeat Indian Arts has pretty much whatever you need weather its supplies or beadwork. Good place to go.
My husband and I love the unique gifts here. Great place for beads, feathers, leather
Perfect. Love this place for supplies. Beautiful rugs, shawls, purses, jewelry. All Indian gifts. Thank you Drumbeat!!
Okay. Not what I was looking for. I wanted to see more indian crafts. They had books, music, a few beads, feathers, and various other things. I have seen better things on sells along the highway near the Indian Reservations.
Its an experience and always a gud environment have most of need but able to assist with what I can like I said first experience for everything open from Monday-Saturday 9a to 5:30 p and start shouting down by 5:20p
Always able to find what i need and if they dont have it they tell me where i can get it.
Blessd culture. I went in to buy beads found what I needed. Customer service was EXTREMELY rude. Its nice to be important But its also important to be nice. Com on its the Millennium.
I love the huge selection they have to make necklaces or bracelets or full chest pieces. And the extra stuff, a ducks neck for lets say metaphysical purposes.
The only place for supplies in Phoenix. Top quality always.
Always the best place for all your Native needs
Nice hidden gem right off of 16th street.Lots of American Indian craftwork suppliesblankets.music etc.
Get all by beading supplies here for a great price unlike other stores
The store is nice, but the employees did not approach me. I walked in looking for dream catchers and the few that they had were found behind the counter where no one was nearby for me to ask for help.
The most beautiful things everything I was looking for and more
Great selection. Good prices and friendly people.
Love to get my sage here. Nice people.
Lots of beautiful crafts made by Native Americans
Only went for the Indian fry bread tacos and they were the best I have ever had
I always find something here...from one-of-a-kind handmade (mostly) jewelry, to hard to find books on Native cultures, CDs, t-shirts by Native designers, and supplies...they have so much in this tiny little store that I can remember going to forever
I love this place they are so helpful and kind. I come from California every few months for beads and medicine of the people. If you are ever in the area stop in.
Very friendly people. Nice products.
I love this place so much. My grandfather was Native and I miss him dearly
You will find anything youre looking for great store
Have the best native American art Jewelry and if its not ther they will Order it for you or try to get in touch with another store that might have it.... It would be very very awesome and cool of the cabbil a second store somewhere in the phx Area or make a bigger store..community member of the Gila River Indian Community, Arizona..
Great place for buying supplies for jewelry making. They have a wonderful selection of music, blankets, books and art work. Friendly, knowledge staff.
Very down to earth store. Mini Native American history books, beads and gifts.
I was able to find everything that I needed and then some.😁
Always feel a little closer to home when i come in and shop. My son loves their Navajo/ English story books.
This is the only place to buy anything that is Indian goods and to get good Indian food.
The best place for native materials, herbs, beads, videos, books & a whole lot more!
Good place to shop native American stuff.
Good products handmade items. Customer Service was excellent.
My friend opened a container of beads to see the actual color. The clerk told him he had to buy it. He did buy the container. His hard of hearing. Miscommunucation.
