I went to the shop @11 am with my bike that had a flat tire. They did a quick fix. I asked for a tune up. They told me all the things that could potentially need to be fixed or replaced. I was told it would be 2 days. Everyone in the shop was so friendly. I had a long friendly conversation with the owner. I was called a couple of hours later and told the bike was ready. They washed the bike and told me I only needed 1 of the potential 5 items to be fixed or replaced. I know nothing about bikes and would have paid whatever they charged. They were honest and charged me a fair price. They loaded my bike on my rack and off I went. I am a customer for life. That is how to run a business.

These guys are fantastic, I needed some quick repairs and they were able to get it done for me swiftly. Joe the owner is one of the best shop owners in the valley, as quite a bit of them are pretty rude unfortunately and they give you a one week or two week turnaround time. Was referred to them by the bike manufacturer and these guys were awesome. Knowledgeable – and excellent customer service. I came in because of a disk break issue – they took the whole part apart cleaned it – fixed it and then charged me so little I was shocked. I felt I had to do something so I bought something just so I didn’t have to feel that bad. On top of it they actually spend time making a few adjustments to make the overall bike fit better. Again when asked what I owe they said don’t worry about it. They have a new customer in me and I don’t even live close to the store. I wish I remembered all their names. GREAT JOB BOP.

Went in to look for a new bike for my sons 13th birthday. The Staff was very helpful in talking to my son and I to help us figure out the kind of bike that would work for what my son wanted/needed and ultimately steered us in the direction of refurbishing his existing BMX bike instead of purchasing a more expensive mountain bike that wasnt right for what my son needed. They squeezed us in for the work the same day, didnt try to upsell us, and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect for my sons birthday (they even threw in a bike wash). We couldnt have had a better experience and will be back to have some work done to my other sons bike as well.

I had 💰 burning in my pocket for a new MTB. After reading way too many online articles and getting all the subjective opinions from great riders I made the choice to go with the Kona Process 153 CRDL. Next was the toughest part, finding the right shop that has the balance of customer service and doing whats right for the rider. Visiting ten shops in a week I was able to see how diverse they all were. Once I was invited into Bicycles of Phoenix, I met Joe. Joe & his team crush it on customer service as I watched them greet and take of guests. I dropped the bag of 💰 at B.O.P. because I know that I joined a family with this purchase who will be there for any needs for the years to come. This shop is Top Notch. Transparency & Customer Service is what matter most to me & glad I found it!

The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. They set the bar high. I wont take our bikes anywhere else.I have a 10 speed with a 11-42 cassette. I wanted to make the climbs easier but I didnt want to spend hundreds more on an 11-speed or 12- speed which would have required a whole new drivetrain. They suggested a larger 10 speed cassette. I ordered the Microshift 10 speed that is an 11-48. An 11 or 12 speed would have given me 11-51 or 10-51 cassette but this new 11-48 is almost the same but for hundreds less. IThank you for this upgrade recommendation....

Really like this bikes store, friendly staff, prices are not that bad. They adjusted my shifter on my cheap Mountain bike from walmart for free. I got two new Serfas tires and heavy duty tubes for my bike and Im really glad I did. I recommend it.

I used to work as a bike mechanic many years ago, and popped in here to to see if they could rustle me up a new hardtail. I was treated exactly the way I would have done so when I was the other side of the counter, a deposit was swiftly handed over after a long and unhurried discussion about Kona geometry from circa 2000 to present and I left fully confident that theyd make every effort to source the bike give the current supply shortages.Its not a huge shop by any means, but my only issue was that it wasnt closer to where I lived.Its not a huge shop, but I wouldnt hesitate to drive the 45 minutes to get there if they had what I needed.

This bike shop replaced my tubes in 5 minutes & had me out the door. I I asked about the life left in my tires, they were honest & said I had plenty left for casual street rides. Camden was more than willing to show me how to reattach my chain to the gear shifter (I’m a bit of a rube, I’ve only owned single speeds). When I did have a defect in an inner tube they replaced it at no cost. I will be back for all my routine maintenance needs.

Ive been to this place a couple times now, and they are awesome. I had a 35 year old bike and they pumped the tires as I think the valve was blocked, adjusted the handlebars and seat for free right then and there. Ive also taken my daughters bike there and they did a brake adjustment on her freestyle bike, waited like 10 minutes and they did it right there and was inexpensive.I imagine they cant always fix a bike right there, but I reccomend this place. Honest hard working people and great selection of bicycles. Ill be going here from now on for sure.

Heck I just needed a couple of tubes, even during a pandemic these guys (and gals) are here to help. They setup the store in such a way that they could continue to support anyone needing a bike, parts or service while accommodating the CDC recommended social distancing. Well done team! This is now my only bike store in the valley.

I had been here before and been happy with their work, but I went online to check COVID hours and saw my sons review. After that, nowhere else I would go. So I went in today, described my problem and they completely handled the issue - right then - and charged me half of what I expected. (BTW- I paid cash so they had no idea my son had written a great review.) This is now my bike shop too.

Joe and team are great. Even with the shop being extra busy due to Covid-19 they still take their time with each customer no matter what. If you are looking to buy a new bike, get a tune up, or just need a little help and advice this is a great spot to go.

Id like a shout-out to Kyle and the Gang at Bicycles of Phx. When at prior Tatum/Cactus location years ago, Joe and Team sold my disabled adult son Chris a Townie, which he loved and rode a ton of miles....until it was stolen, rocking his world. This bike was his EVERYTHING.Chris now has a different bike, which we purchased used from a private party, but today he needed to get a brake-shoe adjustment or rear wheel straightened/trued, and Kyle and his Team recognized Chris wasnt just another early 20s kid. They could see that maybe jumping in and leading with the heart was the right thing to do to a kid who was having a hard time describing the bike wheel issue. They went out of their way to help him immediately, took care of the adjustment, and charged him a whopping $5. What in the world costs only $5 anymore? I was stunned. Still am!Unbelievably sweet gesture, guys. I know it didnt take much but you are unique as you dropped everything to take care of someone who doesnt always understand the dialogue in such a simple endeavor, that being a bike part adjustment. In short, hes been charged a lot more, waited a lot longer for exactly what you guys just did without hesitation. You really did him a major. He was prepared to pay you up to $25 for any adjustments...thats what hes often tagged for elsewhere. You guys stepped up.You have won my loyalty for everything bicycles. I will happily share Chris great experience there (and not his 1st BTW!) with all my bike-interested friends and look forward to supporting Bicycles of Phoenix!

We purchased 2 adult cruiser bikes and put a deposit on a kids bike on December 2nd. We were told by sales rep that the kids bike would be in on the 9th (well before christmas). come the 9th they said it would be the following week. Come the 16th we were told Friday or monday the 21st at the latest. No call. Now it is two days before christmas. We just called them and they said quote No one called you? Umm, yah, the truck didnt come in. wont be in until the 28th. Now we have no bike for our 6 year old which was the whole reason we did this. We thought going with a local company vs. a big chain would be great for the community and we would get excellent service. We were wrong.

Given all that is going crazy in the world, these guys focus on delivering the best bikes at the best price with the best customer experience around. I made two phone calls and they took care of my crazy request and got me the bike and all the accessories in less than an hour. Two thumbs up for Tom and the gang.

Went in there today just to ask questions about buying a Bike. The Staff member that helped me was very attentive and answered all my questions even thought it seemed they were very busy on making repairs for their existing customers. When I own a bike hopefully soon, I make sure I come back.

Started mountain biking with a cheap Walmart bike that broke within 3 weeks of having it. Took it to these guys Sunday and they replaced the rear derailleur and chain for a great price. Joe also went into detail on how I can tune my derailleurs at home and things to keep an eye out for. Just stopped in to buy a tube to fix a rattle on my Jeep, totally bike unrelated, just needed the rubber. They handed me an old tube out of the trash. Just what I needed, thank you! I wish I would have known about this shop sooner as I am moving out of the area. Would definitely go back with my mountain bike and try them for repairs.

I bet they are great! Just seems they forget about me... us. 5 days to make sure bikes are right. Get them home, one is not shifting after a paid tune up. I call and they say they will drop what they are doing and will have it back the same afternoon and will call when done (good part)... go to do a few things and dont get a call. (Bad part) I have to call them 6 days later. Oh he is just finishing up on it right now it should be done now. I go to get it and they are nice enough to help load it on the truck. I get home, take it out and the tire is flat. There is a giant gash in my front tire. I call again... Bring it in and we will take care of it for you. Ah, thats a bad one they say... we will take off the time and labor but need to charge you for the tire... I said nope, been here too many times since I first brought them in. I did not gash the tire. Giving me a used tire... in a position better than before. Its all I can expect and it is free... other than my time. They took care of me... just such an inconvenience over and over. My case is probably one in a million....

Great service. Don’t charge for what they can’t do. Rang me and let me know they could not undo brake as bolt had corroded. Found a replacement at reasonable price and bike as good as new. A bit out of the way but worth searching for

I have been to many bike shops, but this one changes that all. Joe (owner) is one of the most personable and understanding people I have met in a long time and he always has a fun and great attitude. He has never once showed me the wrong direction from repairs to advice and always gets me out and riding to shred the trails again. I have been going here for about 3 years now and I can say I wont be going anywhere else. This place has become more than a bike shop to me but a place of friends. Bicycles of Phoenix has become my go to bike shop since we moved to the Valley. Having bought my kids bikes and my own bikes here, we have had amazing customer service. I recently completed a custom built mountain bike with Joe giving me invaluable advice and assisting me through the whole process. It’s a fun laid back shop that has everything you need no matter what kind of biking you do.

Came in with a peculiar repair need. I had a vintage aluminum big wheel trike with a broken pedal. These guys were great. The pedal is no longer made and the standard has changed so new pedals wouldnt fit. They worked their magic and custom made a new pedal work. Friendly service, creative solutions. Everything you hope small businesses still do. Thanks a ton.

First off I have had a brain injury and it is hard to trust people especially where MONEY is concerned.I have done business with a bike shop by PV mall a couple of times over the years.And they were extremely honest and helpfulWhich I have found to be few and far betweenI was panicked today when they were no longer at that locatipn.My grandson said there was a new bike shop by our house at Tatum & Thunderbird.Thank GOD it was the same shop.

These guys (Ive only seen guys but if youre looking for political correctness insert guys and gals) at BoP are GREAT! They dont make you feel like an ass if you dont know all they know...and willing to explain it. They remember your face when you walk in (or I spend too much time there). Their service guys are great, and fast! No true pressure regarding bike sales...though I may cave soon and fork over the cash! Theyve got a great and varied selection of makes and models and theyre just plain fun to talk to. Give these guys a shot if youre looking for a bike and/or need service, I dont think youll be disappointed.

I had a minor part I needed for a fender, that only cost $5. The man who took care of me was very nice and very helpful. It felt like they all cared about what they did as the atmosphere was very inviting. I would recommend this store to anyone

My husband and I spent the month of April roadbiking around Paradise valley and Scottsdale. 3 days before our departure back to Victoria, I snapped a detrailer cable which would have grounded me for the last dates days of riding Called around and others couldnt fit me in. Great shop. I have brought both my mountain bike and BMX for service. They quickly diagnosed the issues with my bikes. They gave me the price up front and delivered exactly when they said. They even told me they did not want to do something I asked for because it would not be needed after fixing another part. They could have charged me and I would not have known the difference. That saved me $40. The guys that work here seem to love riding and like their jobs, so you know they take great care of your bikes.

My husband and I have been looking at bikes for awhile now, we finally decided it was time to make a decision. We drove around the valley looking at several brands and stores to find a bike we like as well as satisfactory customer service.We called Bicycles of Phoenix and was pleasantly surprised by the level of service over the phone. As soon as we walked in the door Andy had us sized up and seem to know just what we were looking for.
