Expertise, compassion, and no one tries to sell you anything you dont need. Zack has been nothing but a blessing and they now have a customer for life. Do I drive by other bike shops to get here? Multiple! Worth the drive? Hands down yes!

Sun Cyclery is awesome! My husband and I got the bikes we wanted and Cesar was so helpful and patient with giving us suggestions and letting us try bikes. I didn’t feel they were pushy at all and I truly think they care about their customers! Will definitely be referring all my friends and family there for their next bike!

They have everything for everyone- roadies, mtb, kids, trikes and recumbents. Staff is super friendly and helpful.. Amazing selection of tires too, just picked up these 3in!

Josh, Caesar and the rest of the crew have excellent customer service along with sales knowledge to spare. They listened to our requests,and even though we couldnt get everything we wanted, a complete check tune; we got everything we needed and bought a couple of smaller items for the rode ahead. 2nd awesome experience at SUN Cyclery. I bought my bike one year ago and today needed a tire tube replaced. They met me as I walked in, took care of it in minutes and explained everything and what type of tube would be best for my style of riding. I should add one year ago I walked into a different bike shop first because it was closer to my home, 3 staff members at the other shop looked at me, walked by and never said hello or get out. So I left and ended up at SUN Cyclery and Im really glad I did!

I recently purchased a bike at SUN Cyclery. The shopping experience was amazing! Dealing with Josh, his expertise, knowledge, and assistance was exemplary! I’ve shopped at several other bike shops and I’m so happy I stopped in SUN Cyclery and found the exact bike I wanted. Adding a few accessories to the bike was simple and Josh was on it explaining in detail what would work for the bike and what I really don’t need for my riding experience. They had the bike ready for pick up in two days and I’m ecstatically happy with my purchase. Shop at SUN Cyclery first before you go anywhere else!

Let me just say that Ive rarely encountered the level of customer service we experienced when visiting Sun Cyclery. Our salesperson was Josh and his guidance and product knowledge really helped us cut through the lack of knowledge developed after not riding a bike for 40 years.While quality bikes are not inexpensive Josh was mindful of our budget, age and physical limitations and while we did wind up spending much more than we anticipated both Ann and I can say our purchases for our lifestyle, fitness goals and allows us to get out into Nature and enjoy this wonderful State.Let me also add that it amazed me how quickly the whole team at Sun worked to quickly and efficiently addressed the repairs and parts questions of everyone that came into the store - even in the limited repair mode they have been operating in during the pandemic.

Josh was very patient and helpful. I came in with only general knowledge of recumbent bikes and with his help, was able to appreciate the difference in my options and how the price reflected them (and all the little add-ons ).I didnt get any slick talk or BS and didnt feel pushed in terms of pricing, just got my questions answered until I found the right balance between cost, quality features and weight.I can definitely see going back to them. Its a bit of a drive for me though.

Went into shop. I told them I was interested in a trike They had just what I wanted, let me ride it in parking lot I recently was on a two wheeler. And fell several times. I recently had brain surgery and wanted something stabler. Sold me a horn that could be heard by a partially deaf person. Sold me mirrors. Show me another bike they could fix up it was cheaper it had more gears but decided on original rambler. Loved Color And They said would fix it up before we picked up next week. Josh was very friendly I am happy with the service I got. I got a rambler

I have Been going to sun cyclery since I was a kid the team is awsome and have some awsome bikes and parts available for all your biking. Needs they are located on 7st n Bethany on east side of 7st just behind circle k check them out for parts bikes and that also do repairs.

Theyre too busy for minor repairs and are solely focused on new bike sales, which is superficially a good strategy, much higher margins. But what they to realize is behavior like this and long-term rapport are important. My wife and I will be getting new bikes over the next year and 100% guaranteed will not be from here. Had 2 contrasting super friendly super helpful experiences with other bike shops.

This place is great. I purchase a couple of trikes here that they assembled perfectly. I brought a 20 year old mountain bike in and they got it looking and riding like new. Customer service is knowledgeable and professional. I recommend this place for all of your bike needs.

They do great tuneups and repairs and will help you get your bike in tiptop shape so you can have fun riding again. They are also happy to help you install any accessories you get for your bike. Excellent place to get parts for your trike and tires

I went to get my bike repaired. I was waiting on a representative to come out so I was looking at the prices on the bike. Immediately someone came out once I looked at a price tag. I asked to get my bike repaired but then the rep said oh we are too busy to do repairs right now we have a shipment to bring in. If I was going to buy one of their bikes he was ready to help. The worst customer service. I then said well I’m sure there is another bike shop open that can help you and he said yes there probably is and walked away. I have never been so disappointed in customer service.

Friendly employees who helped us find the perfect bike for my mother in law and at a great price. They also installed a few extra things we decided to purchase. Well be coming here again in the future even if its a bit of a drive.

If you want to go to an honest shop with good service, then this is the place to go. I appreciate the staff here and their ability to not only identify what work is needed but the willingness to get it done with in a reasonable amount of time. This statement may not seem so significant, but it is coming from a commuter by bicycle only. Imagine finding a shop that will help you with your car with out a bunch of flack!

Horrible customer service. My husband bought me a tricycle only SIX DAYS AGO! It didn’t work for me and they don’t accept returns.The bike is new, no scratches, I rode it ONE TIME. The manager didn’t even talk to me. I don’t recommend #sunbicycles.

I was looking for solid airless bicycle tires. They didnt have any in my size and didnt offer to order any.

This bicyclery was very helpful, it was a little on the high side as far as $$ goes. But the customet service was excellent.Landis cyclery sucks as far as customer service is concerned, so DO NOT go there.

Highly recommended if looking for a trike. Their selection is very diverse, and the staff extremely knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating, and went the extra mile to do same day delivery when requested. I have thoroughly enjoyed my new trike - it is best riding experience I have honestly ever had.

These guys are the best! I started getting back into biking and they are always happy to help teach me some basic diy maintenance. They also have made some great recommendations for new tires/tubes as I moved to PHX a year ago and I was having issues with the terrain. Fair prices, quick work, friendly staff. If youve got an issue with your bike, you are looking for a new bike, or just want to splurge on toys for your ride, this is the place for you!

I got a bike there about 2 weeks ago within the first 5 min the bike chain came off. Within a week the back the baskets is loose in the handlebars are very loose. I just wish the bike was better built! The service was good that I appreciate. Price was great that appreciates.

We’ve bought 5 bikes from Sun Cylery, mostly from Adam. It really doesn’t matter though, everyone there has you in mind and will keep going till you find what you want and are happy with your choice. I’ve always felt like they go above and beyond and really understand what customer service is. They remember you when you walk in even if it’s been a while since your last visit. Good guys. Only place I’ll go if I’m looking for a bike.

Stopped by last minute close to closing time on a Saturday to see if they could replace an innertube on my commuter... fantastic service, so fast, so helpful, so generous with their time and experience... they fixed my bike, oiled the chain, got her tip top shape, all while I waited and wandered around the store for a few minutes. They had customers in there shopping for bikes and I overheard great conversations - not pushy, just knowledgeable, presented themselves as a resource for everyone who enjoys or wants to start biking. Joe, the manager, was outstanding. It reminds me of the neighborhood bike shop I grew up with, simply outstanding experience!!

Came in for a basket for a bike I just bought. Joe not only looked over the new bike and tightened some fittings, he also looked over my bike and made it so much more enjoyable to ride.He never pressured me to purchase anything. He gave valuable input to help me make some great decisions. I am very particular with my bikes and Joe is the same way with his. I am not an impulse buyer and yet I felt completely at ease with the purchases I did make and have no regrets whatsoever.Thank you Joe! I will be back soon for you to look at my other bike soon.

Have been looking for just the right bike for a few years. Talked to 2 ladies riding their Terra Rovers who told me they purchased at Sun Cyclery. Josh helped me. I was able to ride, compare, get information about the beach cruiser and the step through, then the regular trike, but was hooked on the recumbent trike. I couldnt be more thrilled. Chose the basic Rover and am hooked!

My husband and I both bough Electra bikes from this shop 1 year ago and had a great experience. Recently I was walking my dog and went off the curb and the chain just wasnt right anymore. It just made a clicking sound everytime you would pedal. I called the shop and they had me bring it in and for $80 they would tune everything back up again. No big deal $80 to keep the bike running smoothly. My husband went to pick up the bike for me at closing time. I was unable to ride it until the weekend because I work long hours and I did not think to inspect it first. Well when I rode it on Saturday I found that my bike bell had been broken and the chain was still making noise. I called them to explain what occurred and was told to bring it back in. Of course when I got it there, it would not make the sound again. They replaced the bell, but not before telling me it was probably because I dropped the bike(Im 30 years old, not a child and I have never once dropped the bike) and that theres nothing for them to fix. The service I received was extremely rude and I will not be coming back. How about just owning up to your mistake? I spent $80 for a tune up of which I will now have to spend elsewhere for them to ACTUALLY FIX my bike.

Very bad customer service. I was looking for a refund or compensation because one of their representatives said one of my bike tires held air and the other one didnt so I bought a tube for the other tire. Turns out the back one did not hold air. I only wanted to buy one tube but when I asked for a refund they said thats not happening and hung up. Definitely not coming here again.

The selection of recumbent bicycles is amazing,the service is fantastic. I recommend this for all of your bicycle repairs.

My opinion? Its the best bike shop in Phoenix. Nothing personal against Landis or Slippery Pig; they do a fine enough job, but they cant match the easygoing vibe at Sun. I always feel comfortable to drop-in -- always pleasant, never any fear of condescension.

Stopped by yesterday to see about buying new cranks for my bike. Just got back into town and trashed the old ones. 6:22pm and the door was open, as well as the sign saying Open so I walked in. If the manager was 1/2 as attentive to me as he was his phone call, he might have been some sort of helpful, but as it was, came up with every excuse in the book as to why he couldnt help me. On the way out, kid tried to help out Something i can help you gentlemen with (i was with a friend) Told him that i wasnt impressed, and he basically said well weve been closed for 30 minutes.. maybe thats whyHORRIBLE BUSINESS, WILL NEVER RETURN. SCREW YOU GUYS

Great selection of bikes, local business. Bought a cannondale here, portly assembled. Crankshaft came loose, and front break tension set poorly and incorrectly installed. Another bike shop was able to fix it for me. Sadly, will not be returning.

Nice shop and nice people but the service is a bit bipolar. Most of the staff are very skilled in the art of warming up customers to up sale or generally push merchandise but this doesn’t mean they arent knowledgeable and skilled at fixing bikes. Other than the sales floor staff they also have “transmission mechanics” whom you do business with not because of their glowing personality but because they can take your vehicle down to bolts and put it back together in less than an hour in working order. The dry no BS individuals who can spit shine a grimy bolt back to looking factory new.Ive gotten both kinds of experiences out of Sun and I cant complain about it. Ive stopped in a few times in the past year mostly because the shop is at the tail end of my commute to work. Most of my visits where constrained to asking questions but I got answers and most times pleasant conversations with sales staff or a no BS response from the veteran mechanics.I dont know if Id recommend these guys over many other bike shops in the valley because they are a specialty shop, they arent just selling bikes they service and push accessories too. They are WAY better than the service youll get at Wal-Mart or Target with the buck-fifty bike rack in the back but customers should understand that you are paying a premium for their products and services; dont kid yourself into thinking they dont want you walking out the door with a big grin and a $1200 bike. If you walk in with a Wal-Mart bike, expect it to be much cheaper for major work to be done in your own garage rather than theirs as these bikes arent the kind they usually dabble in.if you know what your looking for or are willing to accept the fact that you are getting buttered up this place is excellent more so because its one of the only places in the valley you can walk in and buy a recumbent bicycle off the shelf.
