I had a great experience here, the gentleman who ran the shop was responsive and got my muffler fixed in a few hours. The parking lot Is behind the building with a narrow driveway being the only entrance and exit, just watch for that when arriving with your vehicle. I would highly recommend this business!

They say no appointments, and are always to busy for the public. Scheduled a day off, and rented a trailer then called at 7am to notify shop I was on my way. He says too busy that day, come another day but no appointments. Not good customer service

It is always scary being a woman getting repairs made to my car, but I have no worries about him being a cheat or a fraud. He charged a fair labor price to fix my heat plates. Before going to Mad Hatter Mufflers & Brakes, I had been told that my car [1999 Chevy Monte Carlo] was unfixable. When we called them they said they could fix it without hesitation. My car was finished quickly and they charged a fair price. The friendly atmosphere, quick work, and reasonable prices make Mad Hatter a must for all your brake and muffler needs.

Don is probably the most honest mechanic I have ever been to. We brought my girlfriends car in to have to brakes looked at and he was honest with us the entire time. Even though he had to tell us some pretty upsetting news (about what another mechanic did) he did what he could to make it right. I liked that Don would take us to the lift to show us exactly what was wrong and what would be replaced. Honest, Reliable, And affordable. Its hard to find a good old fashioned mechanic now days. We will definitely be going back to Don at Mad Hatter Mufflers & Brakes for our exhaust and braking system problems in the future. Great guy.

This shop is awesome! They are extremely honest and do quality work. Ive been here several times and have always had a good experience. I was ready to pay for 4 brakes today, but ended up only needed two. They took the time to show me the front brakes were still new, but the back brakes and rotors were old and needed replacing. I ended up spending less than I had expected.

I like when you go into a shop and they address the problem WITHOUT SELLING OTHER SERVICES. Walked in today with my grinding brakes. He was working on another truck, popped off my tires, inspected the brakes. Called parts for a quote. Told me a resonable quote and how long before he would finish the first job then mine. He finished both jobs faster than expected. Easy, fast and great work.

When the Volvo started to sound more like a low flying bi-plane then an automobile, we took it to Mad Hatter and I am so glad that we did. We arrived just as they opened and drove the car right into the garage. Mark was quick, efficient, honest, and reasonable. He had the Volvo sounding like brand new and driving down the road in about an hour. I couldnt recommend them highly enough.

This place was recommended by a chain auto repair shop 30 miles from the location. As a woman it’s hard to trust repair shops but I’m greatful for this experience. Angel diagnosed my car and scheduled an appointment. The price was much less than what I had previously been quoted and he estimated an hour for the replacement of my caddalidic converter and I don’t think it took that long. I passed emissions and he gave me a great price to change my breaks. I will only recommend this place to others.

06/29/2018Angel offers a fair price and he is quality orientated – very customer focused: I needed a catalytic convertor replaced. There was some difficulty in removing the flange where a spring is attached – flex pt.. He got it off and noticed due to age and not so good a design by Chrysler for the 07 Grand caravan’s and earlier models but corrected in later models a crack in the inner Diameter - which was the culprit in the removal difficulty. He weld repaired it to bring it to new specs and cleaned the seating face and welded the new convertor into place and double checked bolts. I appreciate his quality workmanship: It’s nice to see a mechanic work on a car in a way that you know is going to last. Thank-you Fred

How refreshing to find such an honest mechanic! I just wish they werent so specialized and did everything so I could always go there. If you need a referral to another honest mechanic, he said hes your guy either way. Someone at Midas told me I needed $1500 of repairs. He said to start by replacing my gas cap for $5 and that may solve the problem! What a difference. Need I say more?

These guys are honest and fair.......Their Mission Statement says it all, We wont sell you anything you dont need.They stick to it. They put your car up on a rack, show you the problem and fix it at a reasonable price. It is nice to find a shop with old fashioned no BS mechanics. These guys got my exhaust fixed up on my 350z in a matter of minutes for a fair price and did a great job.

I called up Angel at Mad Hatter Mufflers & Brakes on August 16, 2016 and told him that my mechanic thinks that I have bad (cat) converters but he didnt get a chance to put my truck up on the lift. When I explained the symptoms of the rattling noise under my truck to Angel he seemed to think that it wasnt a (cat) converter issue and said to bring it in and they will inspect it at no cost.I took my truck to them this morning, August 17, 2016 and Angel had Mark put my truck on the lift and Angel and Mark showed me that the exhaust pipe was loose and that was the rattle. Mark fixed it in a few minutes and Angel said you are done and I said How much and he said nothing it only took a few minutes. Well they couldnt be anymore honest than that... They are incredible gentlemen... God will bless them ten fold... If you want honesty and mechanics that know their stuff then take your vehicle to Mad Hatter Mufflers & Brakes.. I thanked them over and over again.....
