Not the bubbliest of customer service, I’d admit. I don’t really care if you’re not all smiles all the time. However, the service was great and considerably timely (it’s 2 days before Christmas and everyone and they momma is shopping at Walmart and probably getting their car repaired in the process).Guy, the customer service agent, was thorough and efficient. He was polite and answered all my questions. What more do I need from him?The only downfall is that I just got a battery changed within the last couple of months and I had to replace that. (I guess you get what you pay for).I want to be clear about my review, I enjoyed my service and I would recommend to a friend.ProTip: plan to do some grocery shopping during your wait. The repair agent can check your groceries out and charge you for the repairs at the same counter. You’re welcome! 😊
Picked up my car after an oil change service, it made some weird noises after being started which sounded like an engine revving like a race car. I drove home and found out that they left my oil cap up-side down on top of the engine, which caused the oil spillage under my hood. Luckily it wasnt too serious since my house is less than 2 miles from here but todays service was just plainly terrible. I hope theyll get things together because its always great before, and even during the pandemic.
I went for tire repair and to get a new spare tire. Due to the pandemic, theyve removed the chairs from the waiting room. This is not a good idea. What are customers with physical limitations supposed to do while theyre waiting for their vehicle? I asked the clerk to call for a riding shopping cart and was told that there were only two working in the store. I had a cashier in this store tell me that this is the largest Walmart in the nation! And I hardly ever get a riding shopping cart! After I broke out into a sweat, the clerk got me a chair to sit on. He told me and the line of customers that we couldnt access the soda machines in the waiting room. Then a lady clerk comes on duty, and says, go ahead and use the machines! What the heck ‼️ I think that the clerk Earl had a issue!!!
My car display showed 15% oil life left. So I went in for an oil change at 1 pm. I pulled up to the line and was excited to see no other customers in front of me. The attendant came out and ask me to pop the hood. He went under hood, fiddled around for a minute, and then closed hood. He came around to my side of car and explain that he was sorry but He could do an oil change today. He stated that I did not have any oil on my dip stick and the manager said tbey were not allowed to change the oil if that was the case. He suggested I go to a Walmart right up the street. I did and my oil was promptly changed and I was on the road again. I would recommend avoiding this location.
Took hours for an oil change... But its done. Walked thru the mall.. Got a massage and ate while I waited. Staff was unprofessional as they vented with each other about another car being scheduled and it prolonging the work evening. Check out line took forever also.
Had the best customer experience with a young gentleman whose name I did not get. Carried all my parts for a tire installation on a wheel I had bought to and fro my car and upgraded the tire with no extra charge. Warranty had me pay only 10 percent of the original price! Couldnt be happier!
Always friendly, helpful and courteous. Unbelievable value.
4/27/19 drop off at 1000 pick up at 2 pmAvoid this place AT ALL COSTS! The employees do not care about you whether that’s inside the store or those checking in your car. Inside they ignore the customers and talk about how annoying they are as if they are not right there. The manager, you can tell, has no clue how to run(manage staff according to a task within a time frame) an auto shop. Overwhelmed and rude to paying customers who are told one thing at check in and told another check out. Wasn’t called that car was ready, oil light not reset, and no sticker for approximate next oil change.
Have three stars because the men that work the front do not offer any other services. This could be an issue if someone doesn’t know what they need. I came in for tire rotation and balance and the a lazy man with tats didn’t look to see if my tires were lifetime balance (they are) and proceeded to charge me. I asked the hard working woman in pic to help me out. Which she did. Thankfully there are decent people who work at Walmart. There not all lazy. If the men pictured talk to you. You best talk to the women that work here.Had to downgrade. Again walmart failed to perform. I don’t recommend buying tires from any walmart. The service after is horrible. Constantly have to bring it back for not balanced correctly. They need better trained techs or the techs simply aren’t doing the work. Just buy tires at discount. Save yourself headaches.
Horrible experience 4 hours to install 2 new tires.
Replaced old battery 2.5 yrs old. With new one no cost. Problem was starter. Aamco replaced for 750.00 after quoting 250.00. It was two yrs old with lifetime warrenty out of Fla. But I was in Az.
I really miss this place being opened. I LOVE the service. Everyone treats you with dignity and explains things throughly. As a woman it’s often hard to trust places to perform work on your vehicle because people take advantage of your lack of knowledge, however these guys are IT. They’re kind and true professionals.
Had me waiting two hours to tell me they didn’t have my tires in stock Don’t waste your money here I am going to Costco from now on
I came in last week after closing with a flat tire. The lady at the counter told me they were closed and not taking anymore cars. I then talked to a tech named Andre that assured me he would take my car. He checked my car in and replaced my tire within 15 minutes. I tried giving him a tip for his good work and kindness but he politely decline and told me he was happy to help. I will be sure to come back to this location in the future.
They do have the cheapest price for but there is a long wait. if youre looking for something fast so you might have to look somewhere else or just expect to wait at least an hour possibly more. If you scroll down the reviews some people waited 3 hours. I waited like about half an hour but I decided I have to come back when I have more than an hour to spend.
The manager put a sign in side the auto center it saysStating 3/15/19, our new hours of operation will be 8am-6pm We appreciate your understanding for this temporary changes.ManagementAnd outside it says definitely hourse. Why the dont put this sign outside. We were waiting out side on Easter day from 7 am to 8:40 am they asked us to go inside to sign, and they started at9 :00. No manager showed up to talk with.
Went in to get two front tires replaced today. They told me by phone that the lug nuts were seized in the passenger side wheel and they couldnt perform the service. I could tell they were lying because I inspected the vehicle before and after dropping it off. They didnt even touch the car. Took my vehicle to the Walmart auto care in Peoria. They not only were able to replace the tires but finished the job 30 minutes earlier than estimated. Dont go to the Chris Town Walmart for your auto care needs because they dont care.
The most horrible customer experience I ever encountered including the female Manager is awful. Spent 2 hours calling just for a price quote to get 2 tires mounted I purchased there and kept putting on hold and never picked up. I finally got through and ask to make an appointment the customer service rep said first come first serve basis and this was at 4:30 in the evening I said I was coming in to get two tires mounted he said okay so I went to the store got my tires went to the to the front desk and by this time it was already 5:20 and they said it was too late to get the tires mounted and they dont close until 7 p.m. at night. And this was from the manager that was on duty then and the shop only had two cars in it. What awful service and absolutely no idea how to treat there customers. The male cashier has no personality when talking to him he just looks at you like if he is the most missarable employee working there.
I’m pretty happy with the customer service here. I went there to get my tire change and it was locked. The lady walked with me to my car and waited until I found it. The waiting is long but it’s better than most of the area.
Andre in the service department was extremely kind and helpful when I came in with a flat tire. I came in close to closing hours but he assured me that he would help me out. Despite how busy the service department was, he was patient with everyone and made a point to show everyone kindness! We need more Andres around!
Dropped a tire off, not my car, just a tire. I was told it would take 2 hrs. They decided to do my tire just minutes before they close. This is the worse experience I have had. I WILL NOT be coming back to this location for any car needs. Darren was awesome help though
My dad used to take his car here for oil changes and tires. He asked them to change his cabin air filter and they broke the glove box, because they didnt know how to remove it properly. When the manager was made aware, they did nothing to fix the glove box. He is not going to this Walmart for his oil changes ever again
Great did what I needed
Joe wrote me up quickly for a battery, when I went back to check that they had found one( I knew starting it was a chance they didnt) she personally dug through a pallet of batteries to find mine. I have always gotten respectful and curtious service from this location. Speed could be improved but thats not a detractor from my service experience.
If I could give less than a star I would. I called ahead asking about a battery replacement and they assured me they could help. When I arrived at the store, they informed me that it would be a 3-4 hour wait, and that they might not really be able to get to me today. They then asked if I really needed the battery. I informed them that my car was running outside and that if I turned it off it would no longer start, to which the worker replied oh sh*t, so the batterys, like, IN your car? and advised me to call AutoZone for help. With that level of common sense, Im almost glad they were too busy. Will never use Wal-Mart Auto. Ever.(Went to O Reilly instead!!)
Do not go there! Went in for an oil change now my vehicle is leaking oil. Hoping its a simple fix like replacing the drain plug gasket. How ironic it happened to my sister a couple weeks ago also.
First and LAST time I use these guys for car service. As I was waiting the 2 hours to change my oil, I sat and watched all 4 techs try to open a scion hood. They were not smart enough to google or read the owners manual in the glove box. They tried for almost 30 minutes to no avail. That got mt thinking...do I want these guys working on my vehicle? After the oil change I discovered they overcharged me! I told them and it took them 25 more minutes to figure out how to refund my money and make me pay again. I get home and low and BEHOLD an OIL Fuc*** leak! Seriously these Baboons didnt replace my crush gasket now I have oil in my driveway! NEVER AGAIN
Brought my car here to have two rear tires replaced. Was told it take an hour and half as there were two cars before mine. Four hours later, I’m still being told that it will be done soon. Was also told that their tire guy may have been on lunch... I’m never taking my vehicle back to this location. The wait is not worth the money you may save by going to this location.
On Sunday 9/15/2019 I took my suv to get a oil change! big mistake it took them about 3 hours to get it done. I was their early with only four cars before me . Well i made the best of it drove home parked my suv. Monday morning I drove my motorcycle to work and with pending bad weather this Tuesday 9/17/2029 I decided to drive my suv and as I approached It I noticed fluids under the engine I got down to see and oil drain plug was not tightened and oil filter that was to be replaced was not now I have a big oil stain on my drive way! I called just to get treated as if I’m a liar. Even when I told them I didn’t want anything fix or replaced I just want them to pay attention to what they are doing. So they don’t destroy someone car.
Terrible customer service
Waited 3 hours. Car still wasnt done. All that was needed was 2 tires one spare one installed. The lady was rude when I asked for a time estimate. Got my keys and cancelled the work order. Went to discount. Same price better service
Bad customer service the short guu looking girl was very rude after refusing to do oil change after ive been going there for about a year due to my check engine light was on but been on everu other oil change i have gotten
I went in for a simple oil change, and I was told that it would be upwards of a 3 hour wait despite there being only 2 cars in front of me! I also needed a tire repair done, and they refused to do it even though it is one of the services they offer. This is my 2nd and last bad experience with this place. I will NEVER use them again.
Never had any problems with this location or staff they are always polite. Ive taken all of my cars here. They get a little busy at times so its hit and miss how long the wait is going to be but usually no more than an hour and Im out the door.
I use this place all the time and never had a problem. They do there job well!
Went in for 2 new tires. About hour and a half later I saw no one near my vehicle all that time. Then the mechanic opened the hood. I was thinking why are they under the hood for tire change?? I asked the counter girl and she said they were replacing the battery. What the hell !!I should have read the reviews forest, never going back there again !Update.....its been 4 days since walmart mistakenly changed my battery. I went out to go to work this morning and the car wouldnt start. Roadside assistance came and towed my car to the dealership. Thank you walmart for getting under the hood of my car and screwing things up.
Man o man boy o boy this place is A joke. Thanks actually felt like i was getting pranked😂Walmart is supposed to be a trusted place of business.I guess the “only in Walmart people “ have started to work for here. What could happen?
Never went!
Refused to work on my vehicle due to my hood damage. They were polite about it, and the associate didnt really want to turn me away.
Hours state until 7. I walked in at 6:15 granted a close call but I was on a donut. Being that Walmart is the only place open there were ZERO cars in line and I only needed ONE tire, and I was turned away. At least they could have sold me the tire and I could have put it on myself. The employee didn’t even work with me or anything. Never again will I send anyone or go myself to this Walmart. Open late but let me pick and choose who I service. Ridiculous.
I was first in line for an oil change at 7am. I’ve been waiting for over 90 minutes and they still aren’t done. This location is severely understaffed and the tech is working on four cars at a time. Come for the egregious underestimates for how long work will take, stay for never ending list of setbacks.
I had a bad experience with this crew today. They told me they drained the old oil before pouring the new which I did not ser. I was watching every move since the car pullrd up to the pit. The pit was not open and doesnt it take time to drain! Have been a costomer since 2007 and now it will be my last. I will make sure to tell my friends not to use this walmart for service. Bad business! They were good before but not any moreI want someone responsible to address this issue.
I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes then they came out and asked me for the wheel lock device, so they never even started on. I had to have it done today and they told me it would take another hour for the balance, rotate and oil change. I have come here for so many years I can remember. This just really hurts!
I dropped off my car and I left the place since estimate wait time was 1 hour and 30 minutes. 1 hour later they call me and tell me the oil change couldnt be done because the knob to the oil was too tight and they could not un-twerk it. Are you kidding!? That is the lamest excuse. We hung up and then I realized it was BS. I called back to speak to a manager and was on hold for 17 minutes! I walked back in person and they did not seem to care about my complain. I do not recommend this location. The staff looks unhappy especially the girl at the front desk and there is no good customer service whatsoever.
Worst customer service ever, kept me on hold for over 25 minutes. They either need more staff or need to learn how to multitask. Walmart come on, Very disappointing!
People here are slow!! The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Wont be back.
Flat out lied about my tread being bad on my NEW TIRE to force me to buy a new tire instead of just patching it. This is a place that will straight up lie to you to make you buy a new product. Don’t come here go somewhere else
I went to the Christown Walmart TLE on february 20th to have my tire checked, and was told by the manager, Andre, that there was nothing wrong with it. A little over a week passed, i had to fill the same tires air 3x and after getting off an overnight shift at work i found that tire was completely flad and had to be toed to the greenfield and baseline walmart tle in mesa. The Mesa TLE tech was very nice and helpful, but when i called to explain the situation to the Christown Walmart TLE who had initially denied me service i was told i would get a call back from the manager and never did. Not all walmart TLEs are bad, but Christown is definitely terrible. I wish i could give 0 stars.
Dropped off car for an oil change. They said it take an hour to an hour and a half came back an hour in a half later they said my order was cancelled and I didnt get any call telling me. Horrible customer service
Emplyees Suck. Especially a dude name Ian. That fool was full of mistakes in gettn people in & out. I friggn waited 27 mins. and never once apologized for the wait. Im not going go there again.
Terrible location the staff is not very friendly at all they are possibly take worst Wal-Mart around
I got here with a single tire in hand 15 minutes before they shutdown shop and told me they werent taking anymore vehicles. I explained to the extremely scatter brained, and rude, associate that all I had the rim with and just needed the tire itself replaced. Still refused... Dont bother going here. Waste of time.
Freakin horrible, i asked for an oil change, a tire, and battery. the lady flat out did not put the order for my battery in and the they made me wait an hour to tell me they could not change the oil, and cancelled my tire, then i waited another 3 hrs for the tire change... tgey deserve no stars.
Never trust the service . The staff are unprofessional and unfriendly. I took my car for oil change and I was asked to sign waver form .the next day I had a tire brust which was a four months old michellan tire .
I just had a pretty horrible experience here, I was looking to replace a few things on my car and spoke to the Supervisor, Andre. This bum had no idea what he was talking about, I wonder how he got the job to begin with. Wouldn’t recommend coming here, unless you like wasting time.
I went to get an oil change at Walmart & they had told me it would be about an hour for it to be done & I went in a hour to check it out & they guy told me to wait another hour & I went after two whole hours just for them to tell they couldn’t change it & when I trying to leave my steering wheel was hard to move so I popped the hood open & there was oil all over the engine & I told them about it & they said they did not touch the car but it wasn’t like that when I had taken it to them but they clean it but now my car is have problems because of the oil being everywhere don’t recommend it
Horrible staff that can’t answer a phone or call people in the correct line order. Been waiting 45 minutes in line just for others to be called ahead of me
You lost my battery business because you left me on hold for too long. Went out of my way to Community Tire Pros at Metro Center. They answered their phone.
I dont know what everyone is complaining about. I found the service excellent.
Balance tires in correctly do not follow procedures truck with only 18,000 miles leaking oil because they dont know how to replace a gasket on the oil plug ridiculous do not bring your vehicle here unless you want it damaged
If you come early enough you will get things done in about an hour or two.
Great service as always
SAVE YOUR SANITY...DO NOT GO HERE!,
Worst service ever, they are extra slow I waited 2 hours for my oil change its Horrible Do not go to this place
Was there for 2hrs went back to see if my tires where installed and my vehicle was at the same spot no service was done I didnt complain just cancelled and no tires thanks Walmart
This place is a circus of idiots.
Typical Walmart... You get what you pay for
Some awesome people inconsistent service
All ways it’s 3 hours
Hi dad
Friendly service
3 hrs for oil change !!!?!!
Fair
Okay
This auto center has got to be the best in knowledge, advice & guidance to help you save some $ over any of the competitor stores and even the other Walmarts in the valley or the Southwest region!
I went in for a tire replacement. I was the second customer in line. Four hours later I had my tire put on. Tracy the clerk misunderstood my request for a purchase of a tire. Instead of calling me while I was walking around walmart for three hours to confirm my purchase she made no attempt to reach out. After three hours I went to check on my car. NO TIRE! As I was told I would be the next vehicle in line another car was taken before mine. I had to speak up to get my vehicle serviced. After I had my car taken care of a hour later there was no attempt to compensate me for my time. I am a manager in retail and understand mistakes happen but I always make sure the customer goes home happy. I left that day totally let down.
Very good service offered by WALMART. I changed the car oil while I shopped at the store.
Everythings fine
