Had a fantastic first experience here back when Amanda was still working as a sales person some few years ago. However, in the recent years the new car sales has gone steeply downhill. Most recently, was ready to part with some good $$ and get this years model of Tacoma, only to waste my time with promises of a new inventory coming in and sales person (Randy) stringing me along -- quite literally, to the car storage parking complex -- without any intent on actually making a deal. Went elsewhere and got a great truck for a great price, with everything that I wanted. The worst part is that when I (still) get calls and messages from them, as a prospective buyer, I keep being promised that a manager will get back to me to look into this sub-standard experience, only to never hear back anything. Simply ridiculous.

My experience was awesome!! Its the best place ever!! I loved my sales guy, Montel and his supervisor, Nico. They are amazing!! There was another employee and it was his first day and he was doing an awesome job. They got me into a 2022 Highlander and I love it!!! I would rate this dealership less than 1 start if I could. Im not a picky customer, Ive never had an issue with a dealership before. But I know what I want in a deal, and If I cant get that, no big deal, but dont waste my time.Went to look at a Tacoma two weeks ago, was happy with the vehicle price (no markup - they removed it) but wasnt happy with the trade in value on my Jeep. Thats fine, no big deal, I left and went home.Today dealership calls me and tells me they will give me the asking price to which I add, please dont have me come all the way down there just to mark up the vehicle I dont want markup. What do they do? Take me through all the same.questions as if Id never been there before and then offer me asking price but cant get rid of the markup. So all they did was move money around and completely waste my time.They tried to convey that due too the shortage they have to do markup... Which is fine, but you called me and I told you what I wanted before I came there.Definitely much better people to deal with at right Toyota then here. And if they do call you on the phone, get the deal before going in.

Buying a vehicle has never been so EASY here. From the time we showed up, till the time we left was 3 1/2 hours. Marcus was an AMAZING salesman. We drove here from east Mesa and I would drive here again for another vehicle. Our time would have been even shorter if the printer didnt jam up and freeze. Great service!!!!

He came in on his day off to sell me my beautiful car and also did a fantastic job showing me all the awesome features my new car has. The finance dept was also great. I looked at 25 different midsize SUVs over a month period and ended up at Camelback because they had the best selection. My sales guy did a great job Ive going above and beyond, but then we had a surprise when things were not as they seemed when we did the numbers. However the dealership made up for this and we did end up buying a car from them. The finance department gave us a great deal on an extended warranty. The dealership is very pretty and so is the car. Im very happy!

So have a sound in mornings from my brakes.When it warms up it’s gone.I made a recording of sound to help tech.Took it in for service tech couldn’t reproduce SOUND.Which is why I made recording.Tech would not listen to recording.I was asked to review service talked with Ian whom said he would have Service Manager call me.That was 8 days ago.Truck when cool still making noise and NO CALL BACK

I recommend staying away from this dealership. Ive tried getting a Highlander Hybrid XLE in white. The dealership will call you and KEEP CALLING you offering other cars that you dont want. Finally someone called me and told me they had the exact car I wanted. I scheduled an appointment to go see it and possibly buy . When I get to the dealership at my scheduled appointment there wasnt a salesmen ready. I waited for about 2 hours. Finally a salesman was able to attend me (not the original I had made an appointment with) . I was told that they didnt have the car. I told the salesmen who had contacted me why did you tell me you had it. Their whole tactic is to get you in the show room to sell you on what they have. NOT on what you want.

Michael French was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of my vehicle issues and provided excellent customer service with follow up on further issues when needed. I was not at all intimidated and he seemed very trustworthy and honest in getting me only the service I needed for my car with no added fees, etc. This was my first time at Camelback Toyota and I had a very pleasant experience. Michael provided me Lyft rides to shopping locales while I waited. Definitely, I will be coming back as a satisfied customer and will recommend others to Camelback Toyota.

We purchased a 2021 Toyota Avalon in August 2021. Our salesperson was Rodrigo Martinez. The experience to buy the vehicles was excellent, all the way through the financing department. But the most exceptional experience was how Rodrigo spent the time to explain and demonstrate all the new technology in the car. Great experience. We have purchased four vehicles from Camelback Toyota and will be back when a fifth is needed.

Cynthia made sure that my experience was outstanding. I am a disabled senior, I was fortunate to schedule my service on my Toyota Corolla with Cynthia as my service advisor. I am disabled and have limited mobility, I use a cane. Cynthia mature that I was unencumbered walking into the service area by providing help walking, opening the doors for me, etc. She provided an overview of what services were to be performed, she made appropriate recommendations for additional services, at all times making sure I was comfortable with the process. Went in on Sunday morning to purchase a truck for our business. The price listed on their website was $22k. When we got there, they said the price was $26k. They agreed to drop the price to $24.5k but would not honor their online price. They said we had to pay for a clear coat that was applied to the truck but we never asked for the clear coat and it was applied before we even arrived. Typical bait and switch. Should have known to walk away then…. But we didn’t.We told the sales rep that the truck is for our business and we are pre-financed though the business TIN. They understood and agreed to move forward with the purchase. We had to sign mock financing paperwork since it was a Sunday and the check could not be delivered that day. We were very clear with the finance manager the name of the company to expect the check from. The dealer calls us on Tuesday to say they will not accept the check from the lender that pre-financed the business. They insisted it had to be a personal sale with personal financing. They threatened us if didn’t agree to the personal financing. Refusing to be bullied and taken advantage of, we returned the truck to the lot and left the keys.I am so disappointed by the bait and switch in price and refusal to honor the agreement to use BUSINESS financing for a business vehicle. If you are a small business, or any business, I strongly recommend that you do not do any business with this dealer. Run, don’t just walk, away from this dealer because they lack any integrity

Very bad experience. Service rep seems had no interest at all. I purchased certified car from dealer and my first service was free. I was over the call while booking an appointment, i was told to make payment. I gave my car for oil change and zektech clear coat protection but when i picked my car, it was not washed as well as work of clear coat was not done. Damian(rep) did not inform that he could not finish the job. Car was with them for almost 4 hours.

One of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. My sales associate was Winston and let metell you about this young man. He was professional, attentive, knowledgeable about everything I needed to know regarding my truck purchase, and stayed with me through the entire deal. I have worked with dozens of salesman over the years, my hats off to Winston for style and great acumen. Car salesman tend to get a bad rap but if everyone could experience the same type of purchase I had with Winston, that stigma would quickly disappear. In today’s market with low inventory, people generally wait a few months for a Tacoma. This wasn’t my situation and I owe that to Juan Carranza. Juan has major hustle and he was able to find me the exact Tacoma Sport that I wanted in less than a week. If you’re in need of a truck now, Juan will not let you down. He was in contact with me daily as he searched for my truck.When we finally met and negotiated a deal he was professional and not pushy. He also was incredibly knowledgeable about all the features and technology on the truck.I can’t not say enough positive things about Juan and I would recommend him to family in friends.I also want to thank Sean Meirer. Sean was professional and did everything he could to accommodate me. He exceeded my expectations as he met all of my demands. I’ve never had a sales negotiation run so smoothly. Perhaps a round of golf at the Phoenician could have been added? We have purchased three Toyota vehicles from Camelback Toyota. Our current vehicle needed new tires and the key needed to remove the lug nuts was missing. My husband has only brought our car to Camelback for services. He has had his tires rotated here, so we assume the key may have been misplaced during a service call. When my husband inquired about the missing key, the manager was adamant that we lost the key, and that it is our responsibility to financially replace it. We are baffled by this, and do not feel it is our responsibility to purchase a new key when we are not responsible for it being missing. The manager was rude to my husband, which is unbelievable to us.Suffice it to say, we will not be returning here for any services or future vehicles!ADDENDUM:My husband responded to the email displayed below this complaint two weeks ago, and to date, no one has responded back. Obviously, they dont care about losing a previous devoted customer. Shame on you, Camelback Toyota!

I travel all over the country for work and frequent Toyota dealerships for servicing my Toyota Tundra. I called Camelback Toyota and spoke with a nice gentleman named Ryan. I explained that I was in town working from out of state and had a small window in between appointments to get my oil changed. He was able to get me in right then, get my truck serviced and even informed me about an extended service program they offered and how it would save me money. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes! I HIGHLY recommend Camelback Toyota and was very impressed with the customer service Ryan provided. I wish more companies that provided service would be of this caliber.

DO NOT BUY USED CARS FROM HERE. I have 1 month with a 2017 Grand Cherokee and the battery doesn’t even work anymore. I’m pretty sure they don’t even service the cars before selling them. Their priority is selling brand new cars. I regret trading in my Corolla for this jeep. My jeep wouldn’t turn on while I was out of town, 4 hours away from Phoenix, I contacted my sales person and he would just ignore my calls.

Posting this on behalf of my brother. Weve been searching the past 2 weeks for a brand new RAV4 and visited 4 different Toyota dealerships around the valley. We had a horrible experience nearly buying a new Toyota from Autonation until it came down to the paperwork that we found out how much of a liar and disrespectful they were. It nearly deterred my brother from purchasing a brand new vehicle for the first time. Then I found out that Camelback Toyota had some RAV4 from their website and sent my brother the info to give them a call. With the crazy market the way it is, they were sold quickly. However the next day, Matthew called my brother and told him they had 2 RAV4 that were just delivered Monday morning. He messaged Matthew to let him know that we would be in once we got off work. We drove all the way to Phx from Gilbert and found out that one of the RAV4s had just sold hours ago, but they did have the other one on site. It turned out to be THE EXACT package that he want with the exception of the color. We took it out for a test drive and I could tell my brother was already falling I love. We went back inside to discuss paperwork, and were utterly surprised how professional Matthew, Rodrigo, Jeff, and Travis were. They were upfront, honest, and had the best customer service. It was a complete 180 from how we were treated at other Toyota dealerships. My brother was going to finance through his bank, but Toyota was able to beat his banks finance. My brother drove home in his brand new 2022 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium, a vehicle that hes been wanting for the past year. He and I would like to thank the team that helped us out and stayed past their scheduled time to make his first time car buying experience (and birthday gift for himself) one of a kind!!

Cheyenne Hunt was easy to work with and my expectations were met and there was not a big sales push. Camelback Toyota isnt the closest to my house, but they were a lot more responsive to my inquiries and streamlined a way for me to see incoming inventory. Cheyenne kept me posted with texts of new cars coming in most mornings and when the right car came in I simply drove down and looked at the car, offered a price and left with a new Highlander. It was a good experience, and no offense to car salesman, that is probably a rare statement.

Top salesman Xavier was keeping me updated on any Hybrid Ravs that were on their way. I am a 6 time customer with Camelback way back when Richie was their. I live up in North Scottsdale and went to Right Toyota at of convenience. They swore that there were no Rav Hybrids being delivered in The state of Arizona for a long time. I said Xavier told me different and he called him a lier. That ended the conversation and I called Xavier and he sent me the 3 being delivered. He called the next day and said hurry down there is now one left and the manager said he will wait for me. I then purchased my 7th car from Camelback and never been happier. Thanks to Xavier, this was the easiest transaction ever. Have to give a thumbs up also to Gary at Finance and the Manager who held the car for me until I made my decision.

Purchased a 2021 Toyota Camry XSE after several months of calling back and forth between Camelback Toyota. During this time I spoke with dozens of different employees telling me incorrect info about deliveries and package options of the vehicles. I was told many different dates on when the car I wanted was going to be delivered and sometimes was told it was delivered and it ended up being the completely wrong car. My salesman assured me that I was going to get the car and that he would do anything to get it to me. Ended up after months of going back and forth finally got the text that they received the vehicle. Got to look at it and wasnt offered a test drive we simply signed paperwork and they sent me on my way. Before they sent me off with my car we did a very brief inspection that took him barely 1 minute and signed the paper, wasnt even shown features of the car. He also explained that he scheduled a appointment for me to get my first servicing on my car. There was never an appointment scheduled and I had to drive to the dealership myself. Apparently the Update he told me I had to get was an update for a higher package vehicle for the Navigation that I was told the vehicle had. A month now down the road I have lost all communication with my salesman and cant be answered about any questions. Only follow up call I got was him asking if everything was fine with the car and was told multiple times to leave a 5 star review. Not surprised I was sold the car and they never wanted to help again.

Such an amazing experience - and I say experience because it really was. Randal Morris filled in for our original salesperson as they were preoccupied and for the first time ever for both my husband and I, we worked with a salesperson who was completely transparent. The whole “dealers sell cars for their profit” was not Randall’s motive, it was the complete opposite and very much “I work for you and I will get you what you want” which is exactly what happened. There was hardly a negotiation because what we asked for was provided upfront. Very charismatic guy.The finance manager, Danielle, is SUCH a charm. She was so sweet and genuine and again, when it came time to negotiations there was hardly a minute spent on it. She absolutely knew what she was doing and filled us with every detail of what we were purchasing.Very great experience overall and will be referring as much as we can to this location, especially for their inventory.

My parents have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership and have had an amazing experience each time. My brother purchased a few vehicles from them and had the same experience. I have purchased a few vehicles and too have had a great experience. That experience has been tarnished due to this dealership having ignored my request to remove my number off my parents and my brothers accounts. For some reason, my number is the go to number for these accounts. For the past three years, I have been getting calls regularly from them asking about vehicles I do not own. Despite me telling them they have the wrong number and providing them with the corrected number for my parents and my brother, they still call me. I have even demanded they remove my number entirely but they still call.At this point, this is harassment! I no longer own a Toyota and I have explained this to them as well. I dont plan on ever owning a Toyota again due to this dealerships inability to listen to their customers and deciding it is better to harass me over and over again!

Paint issueWarranty states paint is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. My vehicle has 11,000 miles and is 2 years old . I have clear coat disintegration on the hood and now on the top, this issue was brought to their attention almost 2 years ago. I feel my issue has been ignored by Camelback Toyota, now they say it is not covered . Customer Relations Rep was very difficult to deal with . I had to go in to dealership to try to get answers. I did not buy my vehicle at this dealership and that was thrown in my face by this Rep .I told her Toyota’s warranty is nation wide I have filed a complaint with Corporate Toyota and actually got a case # In my research Toyota has paint issues their is a class action suit out of California . I wonder would the lemon law apply here ? We all have options on where to buy a vehicle. I’m still happy I did not buy at Camelback Toyota it’s left a sour taste in my mouth . Purchased 2021 Camry took 3 weeks for finance to get all correct signatures for bank…promised aftermarket TRD parts… never received… Toyota brand engagement can’t make dealer fulfill contract…dealership on commission only care is sell car no follow up..lack of customer service skills… won’t return phone calls…general manager won’t accept phone calls.. will be contacting Toyota corporate office… don’t do business with Rodrigo salesman, Trisha parts manager or Katrina the unprofessional customer service liaison.

I have never experienced working with a dealership so confusingly uninterested in helping a customer get a car they want. I have been working with four dealers around the valley to get my hands on the car I want and Camelback Toyota was the only one who had no interest in helping me put down a deposit to get the car I wanted. Rather than be helpful, I was offered a car that I was not asking about and simply told these other dealers would not actually honor a deposit and would sell the car out from under my anyways. There is certainly no proof in these claims and does not make me desire to work with this team if that is there perception of how business is done.

I love Camelback Toyota. My car battery died and Bart told me to bring my car in. The battery was on back order but he didn’t hesitate to get me rental car for a few days. What a wonderful experience I had working with Cheyenne Hunt. She is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond my expectations. I went to Camelback Toyota the day I turned 18 with money saved for a decent down payment but unsure. She was understanding, thoughtful and very engaged in the entire process from test drive all the way through financing. I really felt she had my best interest in mind while working very hard to help me walk out with exactly what I wanted. It was an awesome experience. I had a three hour drive to the dealership, before I left I wanted to know all the numbers and what I was looking at. The numbers looked good, so I made the drive. The best part was the Camelback team did everything they said they would. It was close to closing time, they had stayed open for me and made sure I was out the door quickly, with no BS and everything being what they said it would be. Went back to camelback Toyota after my wife and I had a new child and needed a bigger vehicle. I was helped by Mark Hess Moose and he made the entire process go smooth. He was knowledgeable and straight forward with me. I ended up getting a vehicle off the show room floor even. Back in the finance office I was helped by a young gentleman, Samuel, that was able to transfer my existing warranty over to my new vehicle and got us in and out really fast because school was getting out and I had to get the kiddos. I have used this dealership quite a bit over the years and will continue to go back.

Amairany was really great she help me so much it was definitely an experience but she made sure I left with a vehicle I was happy with and in my price range. I did trade in my car I had and she helped me get most I could and was very upfront and honest with what I had to work with. After a very long day of test driving cars, my husband and I decided to come here. I’m very unfamiliar with Toyota brand cars, but decided to see if there was anything I liked. We worked with Ted B and he showed us all the Toyota’s. I fell in love with the RAV4! Ted, was very patient with us and wasn’t pushy at all. Honestly, not feeling very talkative from this experience. I feel completely drained from the headaches I got trying to buy a car at this place. I will just say great and truthful sales and maintenance people; however, watch out with their finance team after you leave the dealership. Be extremely wary of how they do business. They make it seem as if deals are great and all taken care of. You sign all the paperwork and shake hands after finishing business, but it is certainly far from over without your knowledge.

They are friendly for sure. But since everything is electronic signing they rush you and just click on the signature part. They sweet talk you into Maintenance fees, do not tell you it cost 2800.00 plus forget about a 499.00 fee for polish protection that its not negotiable. So everything adds up to 10,000. Horrendous service. I went to the dealer for my first oil change. Decided to replace a part that was purchased on three separate occasions. Each time it was the wrong part. Waited over an hour and a half for help while ten staff members were shrugging and literally stated not my problem at one point. Then when I asked that a manager actually help the poor gitrl at parts, the guy proceeded to argue with me over the longevity of the wait stating that he wasnt forcing me to stay there. My oil change was done before I could get a refund on a wiring harness. Then the service rep had the audacity to ask for a 5 star review. This place is an absolute joke and personifies everything thats wrong with corporate America. People lack any cross training, poor management runs rampant and theyre content with just barely getting by. When a customer has to point out that theres either a staffing issue or management issue and gets lip back from the employees, that speaks for itself. Bear in mind, that there were over 10 other people in line that shared these exact same opinions while wasting their life away waiting for some form of decent leadership to step up.

My buying experience here was excellent. But so far my service experience has not been ideal. When bringing my vehicle for the first service, I elected to wait. Knowing I was waiting on premises, I expected to be contacted as soon as my vehicle was ready, but he didn’t come look for me and no call came. I called my advisor after four hours and he found out it was ready. As I sat at his desk to finish the paperwork, multiple employees interrupted him and he mixed up the paperwork with other customers twice. Finally when retrieving my vehicle, he offered to pull it out for me which I appreciated, because it was tightly parallel parked. I got in and drove home. As soon as I got home and shut the driver door, I noticed a deep scratch on it that was not there before. Back to the dealership I went, so the manager could look at it. Now it’s going to the body shop and I have a rental vehicle that is nowhere near the quality of my vehicle and I will have to wait to find out how many days it’s going to take to fix the scratch. On top of that, we noticed that the front passenger floor mat was missing from my vehicle after the service.I appreciate that they are trying to fix what happened but overall I am not satisfied with the experiences I’ve had. I will probably go to another dealership for future service appointments once this is done. I have wasted so much time already.

I was traveling cross country and my Prius broke down in a storm, and they got it diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible so I could continue safely on my way. Thank you so much!
