Bought the 2021 S60 T8 Polestar this week from Arrowhead Volvo. Pleased to say this dealership isn’t pushy and was extremely helpful. I knew what I was looking for going in and Jimmy was super helpful. Knowing I have a very rare car on the road makes me happy and the warranty and all over technology of the vehicle is so superior to what is out there. I love driving this car. So far the my experience with their customer service is very amazing.
Update as of 10/28/2021: Today, after seeing the review I posted on 10/25/2021 (below), I received a call from one of the sales managers at Volvo Cars Arrowhead. He totally owned the fact that they dropped the ball on their commitments and with their communication, which I greatly appreciated. He then made every effort to rectify the situation and was very proactive with his communication. All said and done, it took integrity on his behalf to openly admit their faults and fix their mistakes. For that, I am increasing my review to 4 out of 5 stars.As of 10/25/2021, my family and I recently purchased a vehicle from the Volvo Cars Arrowhead dealership. We have no issues with the car itself; however, the experience we had purchasing it was less than desirable. First, the car was terribly filthy upon our inspection. In hindsight, they probably shouldnt have advertised it until it was clean and detailed. After the purchase, we were told that a digital copy of the transaction paperwork would be sent to us via email. After over a week, we have yet to receive any documentation showing that we actually purchased the vehicle and no one has followed up to give us a status. Additionally, after we left with the vehicle, we received a text for our sales representative asking for a copy of my wifes drivers license, stating that it was lost in the process. It seems to me that this dealership should have a better quality control process in place to ensure documentation and distribution of the purchase documents as well as better follow through after the sale. I dont mind driving to the dealership to get a hard copy of the transaction, but it would be nice to know if the paperwork will be ready for pick up.
We were hesitant going to a dealer to look for a new car because of the many bad experiences me and my wife have seen in the past couple of years but Richard took those hesitations and doubts right out of our minds with his kindness and transparency. He gained our trust and got us the best deal for our car. We told him what we wanted and where we wouldn’t budge and he fought for us and even bought us lunch while we waited to sign papers which helped tremendously with our toddler being cooped up at the dealership. We got the car we wanted at the price we wanted with ease. We love our Subaru. Thank you Richard!
Great customer service and selection of vehicles!!! 😊👍. Had to return 2 vehicles due to being 1 electrical with front headlights and 1 Leaf battery dead needed replacing did not have the 10k to replace had to walk away from both of them. Manager was very rude and tried to tell me what I can and cannot do as a consumer hope owner talks to him other than my review stands!!!

They are very transparent, and followed through on all promises made. Sending a special Thank You to JJ Jenkins, an impeccable Sales Manager. Hes a very motivated lead man, and from what I experienced has a great team behind him. From the Sales Staff all the way through to the Financing Department, these guys are all on the same page. They all offer a very personal level of service. They listened to what I wanted, and thats just what I got in the end! Heres to keeping up the good work at Volvo Cars Arrowhead. I took in my clunker 2003 Volvo into the service department for a recall replacement on my driver airbag. They treated my car like it was a 2023 Volvo. Everyone I interacted with at this Volvo dealership was helpful and kind.I waited in the lounge while my car was getting the airbag replaced, and I was greeted with cold sodas and snacks. After about 1-1.5hrs of waiting they had my airbag replaced, car was inspected and washed. I left this Volvo dealership feeling good and safe.I would recommend this Volvo dealership.
5 stars for Jimmy! He was awesome to work with when buying my first car! He is very knowledgable about each cars features and will take the time to personalize the entire purchasing process. Dawn in finance is amazing as well and made an out of state purchase run seamlessly.The detailing department, however, was below par. I sent my car back to them 3 times before I took it home.
With the help of Jimmy Anderson, we were able to find my wife a (new to her) Volvo that we could not be more excited about! He and his team were extremely helpful and responsive in an effort to work out a long-distance deal via phone calls, text, and emails. Mr. Anderson also did a very good job in putting together some videos of a few comparable vehicles that were similar to the one that i had reached out to them about. In fact, we chose one of the other options they had on the lot that had a few more options than the vehicle i had reached about about. we could not be more happy with the help of Jimmy Anderson and his team over at Arrowhead Volvo! So glad I found Arrowhead Volvo! I started my search for a new car at a different Volvo dealership in Scottsdale. They did not have a large inventory, and their prices were much higher/inflexible.I then found Arrowhead Volvo via an online ad and gave them a call. I told them that I did not want to waste any more of my time hanging out at a dealership all day in the AZ heat to not leave with a vehicle. I was connected with Richard Toleu in sales who made the experience as efficient as possible! I told him what I was looking for over the phone, and he found the perfect vehicle and emailed me a video of the interior and exterior. This helped my on-site process move quickly, which I sincerely appreciated! Arrowhead Volvo also had a more robust inventory of vehicles and better prices than Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale and a different non-Volvo dealership I went to.Once I test drove the car and completed the finance process for the purchase, they had my new car waiting for me with a big red bow on top. Very nice touch!I am extremely happy with my new vehicle, and Richard has also checked in with me since the purchase and personally offered to answer any questions that arise.I highly recommend Arrowhead Volvo and Richard Toleu!

And their finance director was good as well (cant remember his name, but he was smooth, but not in a salesy way). My experience at Volvo Arrowhead was great! Being out of state can be tough when buying a car but working with Dusten was wonderful! He quickly followed up with a video highlighting all the details of the car. He kindly offered to picked me up and brought me into the dealer. Fantastic experience with Dusten (Sales) and Julio (Finance). I felt zero pressure from start to finish, yet they were quick to answer my questions. Dusten even sent a couple of videos to me about car details since I was buying from out of state.Only slight negative I would mention is related to Volvo Finance, not specifically about the dealer. Turns out they need an actual signature (not digital), yet they only have one approved notary which would have taken 7-10 days to get my signature. There is no reason a signature should add this much time given the tools we now have available. While not a dealership decision, it did sour me a bit on buying remotely and having the car shipped.In the end, I couldnt be happier with the car and the start to finish experience with Dusten and Julio.

Their communication was excellent--both timely and detailed. Their sales team was not pushy, and they were committed to getting me the best deal from the very beginning (no back and forth dance). Since I was an out of state buyer, I appreciated how quickly they arranged all the necessary paperwork--including the financing and delivery. In the end, these guys want to sell cars, and they do it the right way. I highly recommend.

Service director Julian Reyes provided us with the best service experience imaginable! Service Advisor Jake hand held us through the entire Volvo Factory Authorized Service. What an awesome team, and lets not forget service Tech Scott who even provided us a video of our service while the car was on the rack. Volvo Arrowhead is going to transition many Volvo owners over to their service department based on our experience! The customer waiting areas were outstanding, and the drinks and snacks made the time go by quickly. This is absolutely your go to Volvo Service Department.
After 2 weeks of shopping the only bright light was our experience with sales person Micah! From our first inquiry, where he shot a personal video of the car for us, since he has followed - up every time he said he would. Too bad with the national inventory shortage we havent made a purchase yet, but we intend to buy from Arrowhead and Micah once they have the right car. For a young new guy, he is doing a great job and the old lifers could learn from his energy and follow up. Ask for Micah and you wont regret it!!

We really enjoyed our experience with Volvo Arrowhead. We utilized the Care By Volvo program instead of a regular lease, and while the dealership had not experienced many of these types of programs they still kept us informed each step of the way. The Finance Manager was fantastic to talk to, and Dusten, our salesman, was a super super nice guy. We noticed something was missing from the vehicle that we purchased, and the dealership ordered it for us with overnight shipping and had it to us within 2 days of mentioning it to them.We are already eyeing another vehicle to replace this one with in a few months (gotta love the Care by Volvo plan), and look forward to using Volvo Arrowhead to get it.Strongly recommend this dealership!

The dealership GM, Anthony, put us at ease, with his professional and genuine nature. The integrity of Anthony and his team was evident throughout the entire purchase process. Taiha, our salesperson, was always available and followed up on any questions. Julio, in finance was clear and informative regarding all our options. Micah, also in sales, helped us understand and setup all the technical features of our new car. The whole team was more concerned about our buying experience, than actually selling a car. Purchased a 2021 XC90 Momentum AWD SUV. Volvo has a great safety reputation and their styling has been modernized. Highly recommend this dealership over any of the valley dealers. I live in California and just bought a brand new 2021 XC90 from these guys. Its my first time buying a car to be shipped to me so I was a little apprehensive. However, they handled everything smoothly, efficiently, and professionally. Everyone that I interacted with, from Jarred initially on the price, to Brett who created an 11-minute detailed video walkthrough and truly did more than our local dealers here, to Anthony who closed the sale and the efficiency of the guys and gals in their finance department, everyone was a class act.Another example, the car came with a few small scratches on the hood that the delivery guy told me their guys when he brought it up to them before delivering. I called Jarred about it and he was very reasonable and told me to get it polished and they will reimburse me. I didnt end up taking him up on that as the scratches luckily came off with some polishing, but I think any customer can appreciate the willingness to take responsibility and offer the customer a quick and satisfactory response.Its surprising to me how much better these guys were than my local dealers. With everyone in the industry crying about the chip shortage and many dealers playing that card hard, I think you really stand out by being a reasonable, courteous and professional dealership. And its these dealerships that will emerge as the winners. The inventory shortage will pass but guys like me will remember which dealers came through during this period and I will certainly be coming back to the guys at Arrowhead.
Its a shame that Google only allows five stars because I would LOVE to give Volvo Cars Arrowhead more. Volvos are fantastic cars that could really sell themselves; however, the team at Arrowhead went above and beyond to ensure that my partner and I had the best experience possible and got the exact car that we wanted. Brett Birk was our sales associate. I appreciated his low pressure demeanour and extensive knowledge regarding the safety and technology features on the car we leased. Nick, the finance manager, was fabulous as well. Specifically, he made the boring paperwork part of our purchase a breeze. Overall, I found the team to be incredibly accomodating and willing to put in the work to make sure that we left as satisfied customers.I LOVE our current Volvo, but am also looking forward to coming back in a few years for our upgrade. :)
Buying a car is stressful and I’ve hated every experience except this one. It was the fastest, most professional process I’ve ever had. Mike, the service manager, is extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and processes. Brett, the salesman, sat down and spent an hour walking me through every feature of the car and setting up the car just right. I had a hiccup with my purchase and called Mike the next day. There was no hesitation on his part and his exact words were “we will make this right.” I would absolutely recommend this dealership to purchase your next Volvo.

Took my car in for service with absolutely nothing wrong. Paid 350 for an oil change and a cabin air filter. Was much more expensive than when it was serviced at previous location on bell . And next day I have engine knock, my hood won’t open and tire pressure light was on when I picked up that evening. Super bummed. Try to keep car tip top and get it back with a clean bill of health and its running bad and stuff is broke. Coincident maybe, highly unlikely

We are so happy we found Ty and J.J and Volvo Arrowhead. We had a very underwhelming experience at Volvo Tucson. I had called Arrowhead Volvo and spoke with J.J to see if a particular car was still on their lot. J.J confirmed it was still available and within minutes, Ty sent us a personalized video of the car. It doesnt stop there. Ty drove the car 2 hours down to Tucson (without a guarantee we would purchase) on SUNDAY, the 4th of July. My husband loved the car and we moved forward with purchasing, trading in our current Volvo, and we were able to do all of the paperwork from our home.Ty was WONDERFUL! No pressure, very knowledgeable, very professional, and he never showed any frustration or exhaustion given he had already driven 2 hours to meet us and still had a 2 hour drive back on the 4th of July. Seriously, you have a winner with Ty. The customer service from J.J and Ty was simply wonderful...especially after the lack of service we received from Volvo Tucson with an appointment. Nick in Finance was also very easy to work with and he explained everything as well. We may go to Volvo Arrowhead when I am ready for my next car and skip Volvo Tucson. They definitely do a good job getting you in there! But once you go down and test drive some vehicles, forget about negotiating!!! The sales manager really messed up a good sale for his rep. Brianna was a pleasure to work with but management lacked some serious people skills. They wouldn’t budge on price, saying that they list the vehicles this way to get people down there. OH, but they’d take off $500 for the chip in the windshield and that’s it, ha! I can get a chip fixed by insurance and get $100 back from almost every windshield company these days! We took our business to Courtesy Scottsdale, where they have better choices of vehicles, amazing customer service and purchased an XC90 the same day! Thanks for steering us to a competitor!! So happy we didn’t purchase from this dealer!!
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 4-STAR RATING!!! THIS IS A 5-STAR DEALERSHIP!!!There used to be a different dealership with a similar name that this new dealer inherited, including the subpar reviews. Ignore reviews before November, 2020.I purchased my vehicle in December when they first opened. Best Volvo dealership on the west coast! Best selection, best sales team, stellar finance team and amazing overall experience - I made a trip out to AZ as Arrowhead made a very compelling offer that other dealerships in my home state could not offer. Still a new dealership, so they will have a few small areas to ramp up on, including out of state purchases, but they’ll get there no time (I hope). This is the best volvo game in the region, hands-down.

My overall experience with purchasing a new XC40 Recharge was good primarily because of my salesperson Dusten Saltz. Dusten was knowledgeable, helpful and followed up with all of my questions very quickly.My lack of a 5 star rating comes down to a simple issue that I find confusing. During the purchasing process I was told that I would be able to choose from a free Volvo home charging unit or a $500 ChargePoint card to use when traveling. Since I already have a home charging unit for the electric car I traded in, I chose the ChargePoint card.Since it has been several weeks, I called a few days ago to see when I could expect it. I spoke to someone who identified himself as a sales manager who told me that Dusten had made a mistake and that offer was only good for March and April. The offer when I actually purchased (May) was for a $250 card.While that may all be true, it seems like causing any dissatisfaction on the purchase of a $68,000 car over $250 seems like a ridiculous choice.I guess the moral of my story is I should have got it in writing, even the small stuff.

Bought our first Volvo at Volvo Cars Arrowhead, and worked with Mr Richard Toleu, the sales associate and Jared Grinsley the sales manager and they helped us through this process without pressuring us and ensuring our needs were being met.Richard is an outstanding individual, very honest and kind person, he was by far the best sale associate I’ve ever worked with. He ensured to keep me informed and even sent me a personalized video with the car we were interested in, in all my years I have never seen this before, it was great to see the car prior to getting there.Both of them worked hard to meet my budget and at the end of this process I received a higher price for my trade in than other dealers were offering me, and provided me with incentives in order to help me save more. I know this sound too good to be true right? But it’s true.I will definitely comeback for my next vehicle here. The process of buying a car from them was great. Richard Toleu was great to work with answered all my questions. Very friendly and addressed me with respect (because sometimes as a woman you don’t get that at a dealership). Jarred Grimsley the Sales manager was a joy to talk with also. A quick shout out to Volvo Cars Arrowhead--especially Brian Lawrence in service. Brian serviced my Volvos at Volvo of Phoenix and when they recently moved and became Volvo Cars Arrowhead, I hesitated to continue because it is farther than their previous location. Im sure glad I did! What a beautiful facility with super friendly people! It is right off of the 101 and although farther mile-wise for me, it is about the same time as the old location!Brian has always done an outstanding job and as my current car is aging, I know for a fact there are services he could do or upsell me on all kinds of things--he is always up front and 100% honest and if he tells me I do need something, I dont question it. That kind of integrity is hard to find in the car world and I can assure you, Ill continue purchasing and servicing Volvos at the great new location.By the way, as I was waiting for my car to be completed, I sat in the sales lobby and observed many sales interactions that were professional, low-key and very pleasant. They actually let a couple check out a new XC-40 overnight to get a real sense of the car. How cool!
No Covid-19 precautions being taken here. Employees are even aggressive in confronting you about your own Covid concerns when on site. Ill go back to Scottsdale and Gilbert for my Volvo servicing needs or hire someone to come on-site (which is actually cheaper!) through Your Mechanic.
Recently purchased a new Volvo S60 from Volvo of Phoenix and can’t recommend them enough. Jordan Baumgardner was amazing to work with - he trusted and respected me enough to work out a deal before I even stepped foot in the dealership and didn’t try and pull any funny business when I got there to seal the deal. Saved me so much time and headache and made the car buying process a breeze. Very disappointed with this Volvo dealership. I bought a Volvo XC60 in 2016 and the engine blew on July 23 2018. Scottsdale Volvo did the repair and I was told its a new engine. I sold the car to my sister and she only put 5 thousand miles a year. Now its 2020 and the engine is blown again. Volvo will not cover it and its going to cost 13,895 to repair. Im in tears because she is a hard working nurse and cant afford this kind of repair. I believe Volvo should cover 75% or more of this repair bill because I was told its a brand new engine. They do NOT stand behind their product. VERY DISAPPOINTED. NO STARS
The worst experience I’ve EVER had buying a car !!! I can’t explain the the distrust I felt after buying a Volvo from this dealership. The excuse of being a new dealership can only go so far. I Got a new Volvo, but I won’t be back to this dealership ever again..The feeling I have about this purchase is why people hate dealerships It was So bad at every level, the manager tried to make me feel good about the horrible experience of buying a new car at this dealership. I bought an xc40 r design from this dealership. It was a same day transaction and was a typical 4 hour car deal. It was a very long process to get my accessories, about a month, but in the end I got a car I love, exactly how I wanted it. Damien (sales) got the job done and got what I needed. Service guys were super chill and nice.I’m looking forward for to this dealership to move to their new location.

I bought a used 2020 XC60 from this dealer a few weeks ago and had a fantastic experience! I was an out-of-state buyer which is always a bit of a nerve-wracking experience...scary to buy a car you can’t drive or lay eyes on. They went above and beyond to answer ALL of my questions, even the ridiculous ones like did the car smell like cigarette smoke, etc., since I wasn’t there to experience it myself. Jay (our sales person) FaceTimed with us on more than one occasion and walked us through every inch of the car and would zoom in on anything pertinent or stop when we wanted to see something again. Jared (the sales manager) was also wonderful in answering questions and reassuring us with the Volvo certification process. He even had us talk to the head mechanic to go over what minor service issues were addressed in the certification process for our specific car. Wonderful experience from first contact to getting it shipped to us! It arrived perfect with the exception of only getting 1 key fob and when I called to ask if possibly there was another 1 that got left behind (bc those are expensive little guys to have to purchase) Jared apologized that there weren’t 2 and told me to take it to my local Volvo dealer and have the bill sent to Arrowhead! Wow!!! Above and beyond!!
E.J. Schneider (General Mgr) is awesome! He called me about a Volvo I saw on their website. I told him what car and deal that I wanted. A few hours later he sent me an email with a car and the deal he was offering. Simple, straight-forward, no games. The car he picked was exactly what I wanted and the deal was better than I expected. Will Taylor helped me with a test drive and showed me all the features of the car. Van Hill (Finance Mgr) had my paperwork ready to go. This was the easiest and most pleasant car deal ever. Im a fan of this team! I recommend.
If I could rate 0 that is what is would be not a 1 star.I showed up with my wife and father in law on Saturday afternoon. My wife wanted a new vehicle and was deciding between a Cadillac SUV or a Volvo SUV. When we got to the dealer we stated she has never driven a Volvo and she would like to. She wants to see if she likes it before we talk about buying/leasing, trade in, color etc. The guy taking down her information just would not stop with the questions. Do you want to buy or lease. What colors do you like. What model are you interested in etc. Finally my father in law stepped in and said hey look she dosent even know if she likes your car why would we talk about it. Cant you get us someone that will let her test drive it. The guy seemed aggravated that he would say that. He then got up and said well if you can find someone that can do that for you please let me know as I dont know who can. I only work here. He said ok can you get me a manager or someone higher we can talk to he said good luck with that. Now my father in law is like this is crazy lets go. We never thought walking in we would be treated like that. We will never look at a Volvo.Your business must be so good that you can treat people like that.Update 11/16/2020 bought a vehicle at another dealership that actually had great customer service. Also as I looked through the reviews every positive reply was answered by someone at Volvo and every negative reply was left alone, no reply or apology for their incompetence.Update 2/8/2021.A reply from someone at the dealership just replied to get more information on what happened from over 2 months ago. Sorry Anthony I do not have the time for that. My issue and time at the dealership is above, two salesmen the one who assisted and another that spoke Spanish to my father in law who said he was a manager.Good luck with sales with the staff we had that day. Ill never step foot at your dealership again.

Unless your car is under warranty I would avoid this place like the coronavirus. I contacted them for a simple timing belt replacement was quoted a price of $765 I also inquired about the water pump replacement as normally part of replacing the timing belt and was told that they never if ever replace the water pump as a never see it go bad. I thought the price was reasonable so I went ahead and booked an appointment. When I went in and filled out the paperwork I also inquire about having a serpentine belt replaced and the cabin air filter replaced also. The cabin air filter replacement was $120 which I thought was a little high but said OK and was told by Jesus and his colleague that the serpentine belt was part of the timing belt replacement. I went ahead and authorized him to do the work. A couple hours later I get a call from Jesus saying the mechanic found that the cam seals were leaking and needed to be replaced and also that he found a leak in the coolant hose and it needed to be replaced at a cost of $300. Now mind you I always keep my motor clean and check for any leaks I had checked the day before and the motor was dry and there was no signs of any overheating or coolant. Now the price of the repair had gone from $765 to $2700. At this point I felt like a hostage knowing they already had my car apart and anything I questioned they could’ve damaged to make it look like it was an actual issue. Angrily I agreed to have the work done just to get it over with so I never have to deal with this place again. I get a call the next day saying that they were behind in work and the work on my car would not be completed till the following day so now that’s 2 day when the work was scheduled to be done in one. The day the work was supposed to be completed I had waited all day and finally I had to call them to find out when my car will be ready and was told that the car was almost ready and will be completed shortly and now the price has gone up to $3200. I told Jesus that he had quoted me a price of $2700 and he said according to my notes he said $3200 which was an out right lie. I just wanted this nightmare to be able over so I said fine I’ll be able to pick up my car. He said it was being cleaned and will be ready for me when I got there. I paid the bill and went out to get in my car and noticed that the car was dirtier than when I dropped it off and also there was oil and black marks all over my driver side floor mat. Again I just want to get out of there. I started the car and started driving away and the maintenance light came back on which was the reason I brought it in to have the timing belt replaced and the maintenance done. I went back to the service counter and was greeted loudly by some other person asked me if you could help me in a manner that was very rude. I told him I just spent $3200 and the maintenance light on my car was still on. He asked for my key and went outside did something and came back in and said oh he needed a key to turn off the maintenance light which they had the key the whole time and they should’ve been done. This dealership is one of the reasons I do not trust dealership to do any work on any of my cars and will definitely not be doing any future business with Volvo cars of Phoenix.Please do your research and read reviews before taking your car to Volvo cars of Phoenix as I would not recommend them to anyone unless your car is under warranty and then I would think twice.

Trying to buy a car from this dealer was a fun experience. I was trying to help my son buy a car. I was so disrespected I walked out the door. Even when I told them I wasnt going to stand there and continue to be disrespected the sales rep just kept going with the insults. The last thing he said to me was you are obviously the type of person that only thinks of themselves. That couldnt be any further from the truth and I didnt feel the need to even respond. That was an immediate exit for me. The numbers they advertise online are not the numbers they will sell the vehicles for. I guess I am just shellfish and unreasonable for questioning it. I will never step foot in that dealership again. I cant imagine ever speaking to a client I want to do business with like that. Common courtesy goes a long way.

We were in town from Southern California to visit family for Thanksgiving, and on Thanksgiving day, one of the kids (none will fess up, lol) mashed the drivers seat all the way forward and then the seat wouldn’t go back, and there was no way we could drive it 6 hours back to Laguna.After speaking with two other, closer dealerships who couldn’t work on it today, I called Volvo of Phoenix, and spoke to Brian, who said they could look at it. We drive down, and by the time we’d had a cup of coffee, he had come back out and the seat was fixed. No charge!I hope I don’t have any more car trouble when we visit the Phoenix area, but if we do, I will skip any other dealerships and just call these folks up. Super friendly, professional, and helpful. Brian is the best!
