Whole Foods Scottsdale is clean, plenty of options, and good customer service!Pro Tip: Whole Foods is more than a grocery store, there are some delicious dining options. There’s a restaurant, grab and go freezer, and some hot food bars with packaged meals. The restaurant has daily deals! All food is made fresh on premises.Download the Whole Foods app.Surprisingly they have a large floral department with fresh flowers 💐
Pretty clean and fancy store. Its a bigger place to shop. Amazing
They always have what I need. Fresh produce, kitchen staples, and rarities I cant find elsewhere.
This is my favorite Whole Foods. It’s huge! The self serve pastry case is my favorite! It’s also very busy but they have lots of parking.
Their baked items such as pastries and etc are way way WAY overpriced, considering they have them out there for 4 days straight sometimes. To sell four day old raisin buns for $8 is outrageous and I wonder if anyone is crazy enough to buy that 🤔For the amount of money Whole Foods has the nerve to charge, they should bake EVERY SINGLE item from their bakery department fresh EVERY MORNING!!! That’s what their competitors do like Central Market, who sell better quality food at an even lower price than Whole Foods. I’ve been coming for three days straight, hoping to get the baked item that I want fresh and made on that day, but I still see the same ones sitting made from three days ago and no fresh ones made. Ever since that bald guy bought them out, the place has gone down hill. The pet department barely has any options. The interior remodeling is uninviting compared to how all the other Whole Foods stores used to be.
We love this WFs so much we drive 10 miles just to shop here. Largest store in the city and produce and meat / seafood departments along with the wellness and cafe are worth the effort.
I havent been there in a while and it was totally awesome. The way things were displayed in the quality of the merchandise is unbelievable. If it werent so far away I would go more often. I happened to be in the area today but maybe I just need to make a road trip to get there more often.. I bought some rosemary bread and they sliced it for me. It is out of this world wonderful..
This place has a lot of great finds. Bought some great produce for tonight. Looked through the ready made foods for another dinner night.
A nice store but the pricing here is crazy. Not sure if it’s because it is Scottsdale . Would love to give more stars because of product but I simply don’t want to spend the money. I can eat for less and prepared food at protein house down at the end.
We used to shop weekly at your store; best of everything, great selection including an enormous supplement aisle. The 365 brand was the gold standard, but, no more. Too much has been cut out of your product line up, the supplement aisle is decimated to soat a few multivitamins and toiletries. You dont even age your own meat anymore; its been subcontracted out for profits. Presumably so we could launch super geek himself into outer space. Now I shop at Safeway and Sprouts. I hope you sell Whole foods back to the people who knew what they were doing in the first place. A grocery store is more than a profit center aimed at cubicle rats and millennials. Sadly, I must say goodbye.
This is one of the worst Whole Foods stores I have encountered in over 12 years as a customer in three different states. Most of this impression is related to customer service. I would recommend:1) Any staff members not actively working on a task should PROACTIVELY look for and/ask ask customers if they need any assistance.2) Wait until after store hours to chit-chat with your work colleagues/friends. Consideration.2) Display a much more friendly atmosphere and attitude toward all customers, and not look like you are annoyed when a customer asks you a question. Politeness.3) More closely monitor the garnishes et al at the salad bar, particularly during and after the lunch rush hour. Awareness.4) When someone asks you to find the salad/hot bar staff or manager and you go into the back, instead of disappearing, come back out to the salad bar ASAP and give the customer a quick update with regard to replenishing. Thoughtfulness.5) Make sure that managers/sub-managers are doing what they are supposed to - managing . . . the employees and surging them to areas where there is (more) immediate customer need(s) or flow. Leadership.
Pizzas here are the best. Not to mention the groceries here are all great brands and fresh. A few times a month I come here for both the pizza and bar. Lets just say the bar here is set very high hehe. Ill upload some pics of my pizza here soon I havent gotten it yet. Ive been meaning to review this place for a while as I have been coming here since if was first opened.
I love this particular store so much that I drive 45 minutes to get to it. Its always clean, organized, and the team is always super friendly!
Shout out to David. Was at the restaurant and no came to help out for 10min. One of the cooks came out and helped. He held down the fort. Definitely deserves a promotion.
UPDATE: Just did another pick-up and were given rotten raspberries. The photos were taken within a minute of me unpacking the bag. Ewww can’t eat any of them. Clearly the shoppers aren’t looking at the produce before selecting it. I expected more from a quality place like Whole Foods. My husband is at high risk for COVID 19 so we did a pick-up order. Unfortunately it wasn’t as safe as we’d hope for. The guy loading the groceries into the car was talking to us while his mask was loose around nose and had TWO vents. I can’t believe they let employees wear masks with vents. So unsafe! What’s the point of even having them wear masks?!
It’s a huge store so it’s got just about anything organic you could possibly need. Their seafood department is well stocked the scallops and smoked salmon were very fresh! They have an excellent selection of cheese as well.
Very helpful. Forgot my wallet at home they took care of my food kept it cold till I came back.
RIPPED OFF!!I received an ad via e-Mail today (6-30-2021) showing halibut fillets were on sale from today into July at the store on Mayo Blvd (“my store”, as it says on my app).I got some produce, and went to the fish counter. The price was the usual $27-ish price per pound and not the $16/lb on sale today.I asked the clerk who said it was not on sale.I moved away, located the e-Mail and rechecked the store and dates and went back and showed him.He said his manager had him take it off ad because of a “disconnect” between the website and the store.Unbelievable!!I explained I drove over 20 miles because of the ad, but he refused to budge. This was ridiculous.
This Whole Foods, in N Scottsdale, is really great. The location is pretty good, it is always clean and organized. Great selection of products and the fish, produce and meats all look amazing and fresh.
Great location and very beautiful (on the outside since they’re renovating the interior). I always love to go to Whole Foods where ever I am. This one is pretty much close in size to the one in El Segundo. They had a great selection of items that I normally purchase. The store will be very beautiful once the construction is complete. There were no lines (which is a major plus). Also, don’t forget your amazon prime on the Whole Foods app for an extra 10% off (it’s just a few pennies, but it adds up lol).
I dont know why you guys cashier always serious and angry face.from what?? I just left but not even busy!!At least you guys have to say hi and bye to customer. Is difficult say hi and bye?? and what are you doing general manager??You Guys not basic trained?? I dont want compare from other store.but trader Joe, frys etc.. so many other store much more kind and nice staff. not just this timed experience. It was same experience before. When district manager or GM look at the my review, plese education you guys staff, for be kind and dont sirious and angry face and at least say hi and bye. this is basic customer service. you Guys Whole Foods. even not cheap price!!! many time bad experience, so why I make bad review!!I hope next time be there wanna see smile face from cashiers!!!sorry I am not very good English writing. thank you for reading my review.
Excellent well kept store with friendly staff & great food!
This store has had problems with their freezers for years. Have to drive to the other locations to avoid freezer burn and ice surrounding frozen items and you will sometimes see towels at the bottom of the freezers at this store. Also, it makes customers uncomfortable when employees that work the aisles are watching to see if you touch anything so they can straighten it and put whatever you touch back in place the very second that the customer walks away. These aisle employees should do more than straighten and should start checking the dates and pulling all of the expired items you have. You will also see the food stockers bring out massive amounts of perishable items, and then disappear for an extended amount of time before actually stocking the items.
I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for a grocery market, but I must admit I was quite impressed with this location. I’ve been to some pretty ghetto Fry’s markets, so I have to admit I was skeptical to shop here. Clearly it’s all about location and locals. This was one of the nicest cleanest locations I’ve seen. Friendly staff and all the deli, bakery and meat sections were fresh looking and very well presented. Organic selections were just right, including a few low prices that beat Sprouts (our usual go to store). I RARELY buy from the deli, but the fried chicken looked so good and perfectly cooked, I couldn’t pass. Took a pic if your interested. Anyway, adding Fry’s to our place to shop now. Oh and best part, was the Kroger’s Water choices, specifically Spring Water comes from local sources! We bought Spring water from Safeway on the fly and it was DISGUSTING! not all Water is “just water” believe me, you can tell. Hope this helps if your unsure about where to go. We still have to go to Sprouts for a few other items, but over all, what we needed was here, organic n all, and the price was right.
Found everything I was looking and was provided direction finding gluten free needs.
This is a nice location everything was easy to find I even bought a slice of pizza vegan delicious
Love their veggies and meat. Usually in and out fast.
I love their collection of foods and groceries!
Its a whole foods, great selection if you have the coin.
Whole Foods in the best Market for me to get the freshest produce. And I love that they cook dinner for me (my fav take out place) and they make the best All natural smoothies. As I say, If youre shopping at Whole Food your getting Half food. And dont forget to use your Prime for discount specials.
Whole Foods still has the freshest produce in the valley and I appreciate how close this is to work. The cafe/restaurant is great too! Tasty beers on draft.
Great selection of organic food! Very short lines too.
This Whole Foods has the largest selection of items compared to the other Whole Foods in the area. I’ve driven out to this one 2-3 times after I changed work sites just to get things exclusively here. This is the only one that still has a well functioning “olive bar” despite COVID implications.
Beautiful location, excellent selection, courteous employees.
I always find what I need. Never fails..
Typical Whole Foods, clean, fresh produce. Fairly limited choices.
Agree on the comments of well stocked and clean! great beer selection with some local favorites!
Its a hit and miss with locations but today! I got this everything salmon and the broccoli looks kind of like Chinese broccoli. It was good it was seasoned just right. A lot of things I get out of this location be seasoned just right. Not too much and not too little just right
Its always good shopping here.T.J is always my to go Smoothie spot, however they have been out of Acai for over a month.
Great Deals and Great food.. Very Clean..
Friendly staff, clean store. Produce is well organized. The fish was very pricey. Check out the boxed fish off to the right of the seafood, youll find better deals there. We were able to cook a delicious bass with freshly-squeezed orange juice and ground pepper. Was disappointed that the flower selection was lacking and way over-priced as well.
Super clean, always stocked, but most importantly everything is always fresh each and every single day.
Great whole foods with a wide variety of healthy products.
The guy at the juice bar, Bryce is the only reason I come to this whole foods he never messes up my order and always respects the particular ways I like my juice made.
The acquisition from amazon has immediately impacted the store. I think there is a lot improved however as expected the brand has changed a little. The prices don’t seem to have moved that much as claimed. also now there’s amazon merchandise throughout the store and amazon lockers which are convenient. This is a large location that literally had everything you could think of. I would avoid this place like the plague during peak hours as it gets crammed and the environment resembles Black Friday shoppers. Off peak it’s a great option.
Its a Whole Foods Market. Pretty much like All the others
I like their salad bar with pretty decent and affordable
Very nice selection, meat and seafood departments, excellent selection of organic foods. The old Burger Bar in the back of the store was gone (I havent been there in a bit). Pricey on some items but nice overall.
The Scottsdale Mayo location is still requiring masks even though there is NO MASK MANDATE. I find it curious that a business thinks they know better than our governor, and that they discriminate against our rights. I was a dedicated customer, but my days of shopping at Whole Foods, sadly, are finished.
Young man in meat dept very helpful. Young lady at register seemed as if she didnt want to be there. Not friendly at all.😟
So organized for the crowd of people picking up Thanksgiving meals. You could choose a window of time to pick up your order and they had it waiting outside at a pick up area, refrigerated as needed. And the meal was wonderful. Kudos!
Mel in beauty was fantastic. She took the time to help me find as close to all chemical free moisturizer and lip balm
Always a treat to shop at Whole Foods. The checkout woman reminded me to use my prime discount and everything was bagged in paper. Conveniently located, too.
Always love shopping here. Just wish Amazon didnt take part of it. I liked it even better before when it was by itself
This a product rating for the bakery and more specifically the apple pie. I was shocked at how bad the apple pie taste... shocked! My entire family toss it after the first - second bite. How is that possible! I will purchase my pies from Sprouts. Please reconsider your apple pie recipe.
Clean store staff was cold and stand offish.
Scottsdale, AZ has the LARGEST Whole Foods Ive been to! Almost overwhelming, ALWAYS a pleasure.
Still expensive but they do have a lot of unique items you cant find anywhere else plus if you really want unique fancy gourmet food Whole Foods most likely will have it.
This is one of the best whole foods in AZ. The parking is very large. Up to 500+ cars. Beautiful outdoor seating and a super friendly staff. Their prices are very good and the staff is always very helpful. Highly recommend this location. 👏👏
Great staff & customer service is awesome !!
Almost overwhelming in their selection of nice food
They were really great ... I left my detergent I paid 18.00 dollars for and I was able to grab another no problem.
This place way a hS a great selection. Much be/er than their competitors.
Clean and well arranged. Assistance was prompt and friendly. Got the Strawberry almond smoothie with agave, nice and healthy. Produce was fresh. Was looking for something to treat dry skin and they suggested this lotion with tea tree, chamomile and other stuff which has really helped. Only downside was that they were again out of the chicken breakfast sausages which are my personal favorites here.
I like to shop in this Wholefoods store, however, the customer service should be improved. I found that the cashiers always like to charge most groceries organic prices without checking. I have to either notify the cashier, or sometimes to go to customer service desk due to too many wrong charges. Recently, a cashier had charged all my groceries organic prices, and I advised her, the broccoli is not organic, she should correct it, and she told me there is no non-organic broccoli code she can use, which means she has to charge organic price. I said, thats not true, then she turned around and asked another cashier, and she got a code, and corrected the price. She was not patient, and i have to correct her every single time while she did it wrong, its annoying. Another time, I went to the customer service desk due to a wrong charge for a meat product purchase. A lady who helped me asked me to wait for a long time while she went to the meat department to check out the price. When she came back, and she just correct the price, and told me thats it without saying anything else, such as sorry for waiting or sorry for the inconvenience. Its not very friendly and annoying. After I read some reviews here, and I found not only me experienced these issues. Too bad...
The variety of products is amazing, but if you just have to have an item, dont let the priceiness sway your purchase!
Love the carrot ginger soup. Amazon prime members get a discount on some items. Illy k-cups were on sale. One of my favorite coffee brands.
Lots of stuff. A womans dream store. Loved it.
Wonderful selection of food. Wish we had one close to home.
Do not honor their advertisements, customer service is a joke.
Could not find the gas pump to get free gas like the electric car that is discrimination very un far. THINK ABOUT IT
Used to love, love this store, but more frequently now since Amazon took over, there are items no longer stocked or limited options. For example, they were all out of the 365 brand unrefined organic coconut oil, no longer carry the larger 365 brand just of organic low-sodium dill pickles, and no longer carry Bubbies pickle relish. The customer service also has not been as friendly. Very disappointing for what should be a five-star shopping experience. Please restock my pickles.
Largest WF that Ive seen. Great service and selection
Very clean, excellent online ordering. Many products that big box stores wont carry.
They got high quality meat which I like
Stopped there today for a pizza slice about 1:30 PM. HORRIBLE, tasted like thin cardboard with a VERY watered down cheese glaze. The steam table looked lousy as well, no color in the food, very dried out. Fake food would look more appetizing. This is an upscale area and I was very disappointed.
Nice and very fresh veggies.
Its always busy but they do a good job keeping the lines down
Love this store so much
Steve R was so great!
This is my fav Whole Foods Market in the valley. The store is thriving and keeps getting better and better. While I rarely have time to do in-person groceries anymore, the delivery service via Prime is second to none. Always on time, and items are carefully curated and thoughtfully packaged. I do drop in here occasionally for a burger and glass of wine with my husband and kids, and we enjoy it each time. Hats off to Whole Foods!
Bakers at this store need some training. On Monday 09/07/20 Ive purchased bread (sorry I dont have receipt anymore) round with poppy seeds on top. This bread ended up in the trash can. Inside bread raw, unbaked dough!!! Hey, dont save on baking time, because someone may have stomach problems.
Its been over a year since I have walked through the store since covid lock down.Wonderful still yummy food from the sports bar.
Of all the whole foods Ive been in all over the country this is by far my least favorite. The produce quality is particularly poor, the selection is below average, and the staff do not have the slightest concept of customer service. Customers are at best in annoyance. The parking lot is the worst however. Its challenging to get in and out of and theres rarely very much parking.
The FLAGSHIP store of the valley.
