Country Boys Drive In is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I enjoy going for breakfast. They make great cheeseburgers, French fries, thick milk shakes and excellent breakfast burritos. I recommend the chorizo, egg w/ potato breakfast burrito. You can dine inside w/ lots of seating and the husband and wife team are so nice. Country Boys Drive In is located at 2648 E. Fremont St in east Stockton.

First time in a long time (and last time) no where near the quality it was. Now there $9.00 1/2 pound hamburger. Frozen processed beef. Not juicy and no flavor. Bound to happen everything changes. But why ? Profits over a happy customer ? However the John Wayne pictures was still there. Dusty but there. Overall the Duke .(John Wayne) tho he is no longer with us, is not a happy pilgrim

I have never had any issues of any kind the people there. Meals are always as you ordered them. I would recommend this establishment to all comes to Stockton

This place is awesome. The best breakfast Ive had in a long time. Like since before Chucks moves kinda good.Price is very reasonable. 2 very large OJs, coffee, Chicken Fried Steak w/hashbrowns, and a all meat 3egg omelet w/hashbrowns came to just over $20. Portions filled the plate full. And we got over food in less than 10min!Food comes on paper plates (no muss no fuss) but if youre coming here you shouldnt be expecting fine China in the first place.The staff was very friendly. We will be coming back many more times in the future :)

The owner is very rude whenever you decide to change an order. The food was nothing like what I wanted it it was cold and it didnt have anything that I had ordered. In fact it had less I was very disappointed this last time the old owners used to make the food perfect and with love Now there is no love and it Aint country no more.

Food and prices are great, breakfast menu needs expanding. Most of all the place needs a good sprucing up and fingerprints cleaned off windows, door and interior surfaces. Overall good for dining but not as enticing for if you want to go sit down with the family and eat.

Hole in the wall. Probably been here 100 years. Laugh... but, sweet Asian lady took my order. Food came out SUPER FAST and everything was fresh.... EXCEPT... it is OBVIOUSLY NOT homemade country gravy. The fact is 99% of restaurants/diners who serve white country gravy, DO NOT MAKE IT THEMSELVES. Most use a powder that makes a gravy when added to liquid. Its a shame too, cuz it would have taken my great breakfast to OVER THE TOP AMAZING if they took the time to make homemade gravy. Sad face. But regardless...Everything was good. WILL BE BACK@!

Ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich. Wish I would have took a picture. Nasty, tasteless, and definitely not worth the $6.99 price. My friend ordered Western burger n said it taste frozen. Milkshakes were only little cold and not much flavor. Very disappointed because I remember this place being very good and loved their pastrami sandwiches. Which they no longer serve.

DONT EAT AT COUNTRY BOYS ON FREMONT STREET! they switch owners 3 months ago and the owner serviced us bad meat, lettuce, thousand island dressing, deep fried zucchini and ice cream that tasted like frozen milk! I miss the old owner. My food got me vomiting so beware what the new owner did to a good place oh and they forgot to give me cheese and charged me for it! I paid $18.21 for all of that! :(

The cook never says much but she always will greet good morning if she looks up and she Definitely is a great cook all the other owners were ok but these owners cleaned it up improved the food tremendously have been going in there for 25 years I quit going there years ago because food was bad and the place was filthy. then one day about a year ago decided to try again. the lady that takes orders is great and the guy that brings food to your table Is polite and courteous, great owners, i am blessed every time i go in there they are super friendly always see you next time and always thanks you on the way out, great folks.

Country Boys in a last vestige of the old drop in drive-ins. There used to be a sister drive-in on Country Club Drive for many years, but it closed down. The Country-Pak hamburger special (cheeseburger, krinkle fries, and soda) is the go-to item you must try.
