This place was awesome! The decor was great and music too. We ordered breakfast and the pancakes were some of the best Ive had. Adriana was our server. Very quick to bring our food and any thing else we needed. Very pleasant and full of energy. She acted like she truly enjoyed her job and that is hard to find anymore. We are from Illinois but if we get back this way we will definitely be back.

Super cute diner, great atmosphere and yummy food. Veggie burger for those vegetarians out there. Waitress was quick to address any concerns we had. Great service overall!

Amazing restaurant! My grandma and I wanted to find a nice vintage place to eat and we are so happy we found this place. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Our waitress interacted with us throughout our whole meal and had wonderful conversations with us. It felt as if we time traveled back in the day when people still did that at diners my grandma had said. Which fits the whole restaurants aesthetic a.k.a the retro 50’s-60’s era. The owners care tremendously about their customers and making them feel at home when they have a meal there. Awesome place and will definitely be coming back, more than once(:

I’m happy I stopped here. I asked for what the lovely waitress would get and she suggested this delicious omelet. I customized it a bit by adding tomato and bread but it didn’t need it. What I highly suggest is for anyone to order the orange juice as well, its freshly squeezed.

Top rated Diner. Service was great. The 50s decor aptly fits the atmosphere. Food is incredible. Everything is made fresh. Their home-made sauces are a perfect addition to any menu item. Cant wait to go back and try a shake. I highly recommend giving this place a try, you wont regret it.

Perfect place to stop and grab a bite. Literally nothing here will disappoint! Stop for the food and stay for the atmosphere. This is a great find in a area not really known for having small family owned restaurants; cute layout, 50s styling/throwback and incredibly friendly servers.Food is very good; well prepared, classic and quality ingredients and good prices. Highly recommend for breakfast & lunch with a great selection to please all.

The aesthetic of the diner with the 50’s design was amazing! Loved the place and the comfort food! Ordered a BLT which was very tasty. The freckled lemonade was soooo good. Workers had good spirit and were very friendly.

Very casual with great feel of the best classic music from past eras. Adri was the best waitress of all time and had us spoiled looking for the same hospitality in other restaurants throughout our visit, and the food was excellent!!!

This was a great diner to pop into after an early morning flight. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and this one tasted like a homemade breakfast. They also have a homemade salsa, that was delicious, but just a little too spicy for my taste buds. My server was wonderful and we had wonderful conversation. The atmosphere has your typically diner feel with 50s inspiration, and I even saw a pool table.

This diners food is amazing!! A 50s atmosphere and decor. There were 8 of us and literally EVERYBODYS meal was delicious!! Our waitress, Adri, had the best personality and the best customer service Ive had in a long time!! We came from Dallas for a Girls trip and this was our best experience! We tried to go back before we left but they were actually closed that day! 😔 We will definitely go back next time were in town!

Passed this while driving looked like it was closed to my surprised has amazing reviews and is under renovation and is a historic landmark. Waitress is very friendly and gave me a history run of the place, the atmosphere here is classic and a lot of older people/regulars come here a lot its refreshing and nice. The food seems a bit over priced for the quality and portions, I ordered the ribeye meal for 15.99 got what looked to be about 8oz with home fries food was seasoned well but my steak came out raw and cold but that was fixed right away and all was well. Overall if you like the classic 5 and diner feel and oldschool home cooking Id reccomend it. I would come back again if Im in town and try something else.

First stop for breakfast after a long flight. Atmosphere was from 50s and was cool, waitress was super cool and accommodating to making sure we had a great experience. Food was beyond on point! I had an omelette and biscuits and gravy. Both were AMAZING! Definitely recommend this place! I’ll be telling my Detroit people about diner 50 for sure! Thanks for having us!

We stopped by Diner 50 on a whim because it looked like a cool old fashioned hole in the wall (which always means its going to be amazing). We walked in and were greeted like old friends by the whole staff and made to feel right at home.With old school tv shows on the screen, the Beatles playing in the background and vinyls all over the walls, it truly felt like being whisked back into the 50s. The entire space is made to look like a kitchen June Cleaver would be proud of, with the energy and welcoming of the staff to match.I ordered the french toast with strawberries and whipped cream, and my husband ordered the chilaquiles. Both were absolutely INCREDIBLE. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared with a home made deliciousness.Our waitress chatted with us the whole time and really made the experience amazing. The chef even came out and chatted with us as well which almost never happens in restaurants.The whole experience was flawless and we left feeling like part of the family. This is our new favorite spot and we plan to make our visit a very regular occurence!DEFINITELY recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!

Good music and tasty Pancakes.

The restaurant needs to figure out a different strategy when it comes to customer service and ensuring a great experience. When first arriving at this location in front are banners displaying how it is the New Times best. I was having high expectations at this point since I love breakfast. We walk in and are sat right away, there was only one other table in the restaurant and we ordered our drinks first and after she took our drink order a table for two walked in and she greeted them and served them there drinks before we had received ours.. she quickly seemed overwhelmed as she was still trying to get our drinks. Our food comes out before I could even get my iced coffee so yes I ate my food without a drink.. we didn’t even get waters as courtesy for the wait... she had another two top come in and she told them it will be a few minutes til she could get to them. I am shocked she is so over whelmed as there is only 2 tables she is serving. She takes too long so the two people leave. There wasn’t a manager in site to help her and unfortunately it was poor service that was the result. The food was good but I wouldn’t be returning to this restaurant due to the lack of experience this server seemed to display.

They are OPEN! I am not sure which is better, the food or the customer service! We are so happy with the meal we had and the people are sooo nice. It was a great experience and we will definitely keep going back.

Very nice people! One of the cooks came out and talked to me for a bit to ask me how everything was! The French toast melted in your mouth. Strawberry shortcake pancakes were to die for. Ham and cheese omlette is utterly fantastic. Only eggs, no stupid pancake batter in it, or anything, with tons of ham! They use real butter. And the couple de gras, the coffee... The coffee if easily on par with Starbucks, or better! I would sit here and fill up on coffee! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Didnt know but walked in 5 min before closing. No problem! Adriana and Gabriel fixed us some great lunch. Great onion rings, french fries and burgers. Going back today for more. Highly recommend.

The fresh quality food is always on point! I love the decor and great atmosphere:) The milkshakes and bacon burgers are such an amazing guilty pleasure, but I usually order the Cobb salad for lunch! On the weekends I love bringing the family for a fun retro experience! Incredible friendly staff, and there’s no better place in Phoenix!

I absolutely love this place . The atmosphere is wonderful . It has a retro and at home feel .Down to the pool table the retro sitting bar to the tables . Oh! And the servers are very friendly, get to know them . ADRI rocks each and every-time. I have not had one bad plate come out ever . Everything I have tried has been on point . The food is absolutely amazing from the preparation to its presentation. I am very pleased and highly recommend eating here . One of my faves is a Marilyn omelette with home fries . Can’t get enough of it .

We hit diner 50 this morning for breakfast and we have zero regrets. Their pancakes are the best pancakes I’ve ever had and that says a lot considering we eat out almost every weekend. We’ve been here for their fish fry on friday’s and that is always a must. Glad we branched out to their breakfast menu today. We love diner 50❤️!!! Highly recommend

If youre in Phoenix and you do not stop here, youre missing out on the best breakfast Phoenix has to offer. Wow. They captured the fifties diner with an expansive menu. Very friendly, conversational atmosphere between staff and customers. This is a place you go to put your phone down and relax, it just so happens they also serve a perfect breakfast.

Great 50s atmosphere.

The service were good in the beginning when we first started going there. But now they are slow, under staff and the wait was too long. The food is good but the cook/serves sometimes forget items you order. They did remodel the ladies bathroom and it looks really nice 👍.

I am a repeat diner here. I simply love it. The atmosphere is simply nostalgic of the time period and the wait staff is fantastic. The owners are there everyday and greet me and my dad by name every time we stop by. It really does feel like going home every time we visit.

I am so glad I was introduced to this wonderful place! It is easy to overlook, but well worth the stop. The Friday fish fry is so yummy. Country fried steak is some of the best Ive ever had. I will definitely continue to eat there!

So my wife and I tried Diner 50 for the first time today. She got the chicken fried steak breakfast plate and I got the all you can eat fish fry (Fridays only). Chicken fried steak was delicious. The fresh water bass fish is unbelievable! Light and fluffy fish with an amazing seasoned breading. You have to try these guys out!

Its easy to drive by this place. It looks pretty rough from the outside (its being slowly renovated ). But the inside is charming- a cute little 50s diner. I had the BLT, it was fantastic. Decently priced. Home cooked food. The owners are super friendly and have great customer service. Try a banana chocolate shake- amazing!

Tiny breakfast place in a rough neighborhood. I was shocked at how good the food was. I had the marylin omelette with the tomatillo sauce served right on the omelette. Great service as well, one server for the entire place and she did great.

This is one of my favorite spots ever for comfort food. Adri and Brenda are great servers who welcome you and make you feel like your dining experience is something that you would find at home. Gabe is the cook and send job nothing but the best in home cooked food. Today I had the Denver omelet and it was perfect. Each day they have a breakfast special that changes and you will never find a complaint about the amount of food that you are given. A really really great Diner experience that takes you back do your grandparents days. Yes that they had fun too.
