Wonderful hole in the wall, no frills burger joint! We had the garlic melt (absolutely must try!), Chicago dog, cheese curds and fried pickles. Everything was delicious and out in minutes. Very cheap and the place seemed really clean. We will be coming back, especially to experiment with their ice cream and soda!
Good burgers, the fries were okay and the onion rings were yummy. Best part was the sodas, and the expansive selection. I recommend getting the butterscotch beer (non-alcoholic). The Sprecher cream soda was some of the best cream soda I’ve ever had. The only reason it got 4 stars was the fact that the tables and floor was stickier than to my liking. Overall a good place to eat, and a great local find!
Mighty fine tasting burgers! My first time noticing the place and needed a change. So glad I tried it. They also have a giant selection of novelty sodas you cant find anywhere else. Go check em out! You wont be disappointed but very satisfied, I am and will be a returning customer.
Went and had lunch with my son the food was delicious he got a double cheese and I got the double gyro burger. We chose 4 sodas fun stuff I havent seen in ages like jones soda and dads root beer.Even went back up for soft serve ice-cream before the ride home.This place was recommended to me by a family member and I would recommend it to anyone!
Very unique place:) Must check it out. 24 different flavors of soft serve ice cream!! So many different sodas you dont usually see that are so nostalgic and others Ive never even seen before. (Wish I would have gotten a pic of the cooler) The food was really good and piping hot. I ordered the California club with zucchini. My husband ordered the southwest burger with fries. Had to get a to go box.
Great service all the way around. Large menu and a fantastic selection of drinks. Food was on point. We had a little issue some how the machine processed my payment twice. I called them to let them know and they were very professional about it. They said they would look into it and call me back and sure enough they did and refunded me my money. Again super polite and professional. We definitely will be back!!!!!!
LOVE THIS PLACE, very vintage and pleasant the staff is nice, the food is so good I suggest trying the Rocket burger and the chili cheese fries. There is a variety of sodas and they dont always have the same ones on display, there is always something new to try, its a great place to find a bite to eat.
Small little place, looks like a tiny gas station diner. It was great. They have a large selection of different, interesting bottled sodas, soft serve ice cream, root beer floats, burgers, subs, and some more.We had a New York burger (cheese, pastrami, coleslaw, rocket sauce), an Italian sub, chili cheese fries, and a Reese’s blast.Definitely recommend.
Best Patty Melt Ive enjoyed in years - the good, the bad and the yummy!The fries are just what youd want.Also appreciate the craft fountain soda option.Itll be worth the extra mile or so out of my way on the ride home to stop here.
I rather enjoyed this place- soda, food and ice cream in one place! The selection of Soda is nice, I hope they end up adding more to their selection. The ice cream is soft serve, and is more like a cream base, instead of a milk base. No complaints. I got the cheesecake flavor. For those who dont have a huge appetites, I suggest the single, but if you can handle the double or the rocket, more power to you. :) Also a decent selection for Faygo and Jones :)Enjoy!
Huge selection of tasty burgers, though stay away from the chili. If you like soda theyre one of the best in valley with a huge collection of hard to find brands next door.
Omg this place is amazing!! They have all kinds of bottled soda pops, slushies soft serve and drinks cant find anywhere else! They even carry lots of sodas and treats from the Island! If you havent been to Rocket Burger, I highly recommend you stop in. You will not be disappointed!

Delicious good food. I had the ghost burger. Spicy deliciousness. My boyfriend had a bacon double cheeseburger and my boys had a cheeseburger each. Fries where hot and the onion rings were great. Friendly service too. I had a blue cheese burger last time and that was great too. Probably my favorite. We love the huge selection of sodas. Hundreds to choose from. Highly recommend and will be back.
One of the best burgers Ive had in forever! I enjoyed the ghost cheese burger which was priced appropriately for the amount of food you get. The burger had a wonderful kick to eat not just filled with heat to the point of overwhelming. My date had the Tomahawk which he absolutely loved as well. This place also has the largest choice of bottled sodas I have ever seen! Service was excellent as well
First time having Rocket Burger after being referred to it. Absolutely amazing! Burgers were so fresh, and they have hands down the best fries! They also have a selection of old school root beer to drink. Highly recommended.
This is a hidden gem. My husband and I came across this on TikTok. So I made a decision of making this place date night for one night. May I tell you, there is so many selections of sodas, burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs. We both went with Faygo with Reuburger. It was delicious. Staff is really friendly and place is clean. The next time we will try one of 25 flavors of soft serve ice cream. Theres even a soda shop that goes with the restaurant. Same selection of sodas as restaurant. Keep up the good work guys! We will come back.
Im obsessed with the ice cream here! The cheese curds and mini hot dogs are fire! Pretty much all the food here is amazing! The wall of sodas is such a bonus! 😊
Great little place with great food, no frozen patties or potatoes, best hamburger Ive had in a long time. Plus a great selection of old fashioned glass bottled soda pops. I highly recommend Rocket Burger and Subs.
Awesome mom and pop place with truly unique burgers and a huge assortment of craft Rootbeer and other sodas. You get a lot of food for the money and they have every burger imaginable from Ruben burgers to Philly Cheesesteak burgers. Great place! Its the gotta visit place just a few minutes off the I-17.

First time here. The food was stunning I had the special red white and blue burger while my wife had the chicago burger. The food had flavors that were amazing and delicious. While there make sure you check out their plethora of soda options.

Fun! This store has every bottle soda you can imagine. Purchase by the bottle or mix and match up to a case of 24.The food is fantastic greasy spoon deliciousness!If thats not enough they also have 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream!The staff is personable and very accommodating. This will be a regular stop for my family for sure.
Came here with my family and was not disappointed. There are so many different types of burgers and sandwiches, it was hard to choose. We ended up ordering the Garlic Melt burger and the Big Dipper sandwich on sourdough bread. Both sandwiches were delicious!!!! The fries were also tastey, perfectly crisp and salted. We also chose to get a bottled soda as there were many to choose from. They also give you the option to upgrade your bottled soda to a float for a dollar more. This something Ill have to try next time. I will definitely be coming here again!
I live in Texas and crave this burger spot everytime I want a cheeseburger there’s nothing like rocket burger in Texas and makes me sad!!:( when I go back and visit AZ this will be my first meal I miss it! My favorite cheese burger ever I swear!

This place was actually pretty good, I had the Santa Fe burger which had fried green chili. It was delicious. My wife had the Gyro burger no bun and she loved it even though she is a picky eater. They do have a lot of choices when it comes to drinks, I recommend picking something out of the fridge and just try it. The atmosphere is pretty chill, it does take a while to get your food but its because everything is fresh made to order. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
First let me say, This review is from the 1st time ever being at this establishment. So, let me say, the service was 5 star (VERY VERY GOOD). A young lady was running like a mad-woman and still had THE BEST upbeat personality and service weve ever had and was told it would be 10 min hold because they were behind (we waited 20-25mins). However, all 3 of our burger orders were over done (burgers were not fresh and horribly overcooked), my chili burger was made with canned chili.. the fries were greasy and tasted weird (i liked the freshly cut idea, but were fried in old oil and were not washed properly-they were dark and oily-soggy). I paid over $40 for 3 orders... and cant honestly say it was worth it!.. that being said, I did like the ambiance, and they had a lot of clients coming/going.. they have a very cool fountain station and old-school pop-sodas... Although, I would never go back but, Im going to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were having a bad night!!.. I gave 2 stars ONLY BECAUSE of the service we received!!

Great burgers, quality meat, any topping you can imagine, largest selection of pop Ive ever seen!HOWEVER....seating is VERY limited, most patrons are local and place pick up orders. When I was there, all tables were full and I took a table outside (2). Windy, chilled the hot food rapidly. Took about 30-45 min to get our order.I would recommend off hours...not noon for sure. Call ahead if you can

This place is truly a little gem in Phoenix. If youve never been here do yourself a favor and go. They have some of the best burger creations and delicious fries. They also have a very extensive selection of virtually any glass bottled soda you can think of, which you can add on to your combo. Cant recommend this place enough. Oh and the California club on a toasted square bread is to die for.

I see these reviews of people with refined palates and honestly... I loved my food, but what do I know? I like big Macs! Hahaha all jokes aside, food tasted delicious. Fried zuchinni was amaziiiing. Onion rings were crispy 👌 and my burger was yummy! Their cafts sodas are good too! Just try it out and judge for yourself, if youre willing to spend 10 dollars at Wendys, McDonalds, Carls Jr... You can well spend it here and be more satisfied!
They have a lot of specialty burgers but you can order it your way. This small place packs a lot of punch with their burgers. They also do sandwiches and other items. Their bottled soda selection is enormous. The staff was very friendly, helpful and quick with the orders. We will return.
The food amd service there was so amazing, it was rivaled only by their wide variety of craft sodas. I cannot wait to stop by again. I reccomend trying their gyro burger, its out of this world!!
My boyfriend brought me here for the first time and I was so amazed at the level of customer service we received. A sweet young lady named Sheryl, helped us with picking out sodas and she was super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be coming back! Loved the food as well!
This place is hidden and I never thought I’d end up here but after a good search, found this place and I was not disappointed. Burgers are good, and an insane selection of cold sodas. Great spot to go to.
Great patties and fries. I personally dont love slaw on my burger (too sweet). The batter for the fried stuff if papery thin and not very flavorful, so Id advise against the onion rings. The soda variety is a lot of fun. Soft serve hardly qualifies as soft serve--it is very icy.

Was really disappointed today. Not sure that Ill be returning. Just two years ago I discovered this place and thought it was the best burger joint in all of Phoenix metro area. The last two visit... blah. Though made to order, all of the food items on my order were warm not hot. The fried mushroom seem to have been sitting around before the order and the grilled chicken sandwiches were marginal at best w/ no seasoning, not to mention extra thin. For the price, it just wasnt work it. Try harder.
Good burgers and a massive amount of specialty sodas you just dont see any more. Only suggestion would be to clean the dining area a bit.
My order usally great but I changed my order to a dip burger and only reason I wanted this is for ajus. When I called they said come get it. Really there is a reason I order for delivery so disappointed for there comment to me. Probably wont order again and this is my 5th order. Ill go else where for burgers and dippers. 😢
I wanted to try one of their 24 flavors of soft serve. I tried the rum, it was okay. A little light on the flavor, ill try it again and next time Ill tell them to kick up the flavor

Never disappointed when I come here. I always bring a friend to share the basket of fries they serve with the combo. My favorite is their double Patty Hawaiian with tariaki sauce on the side . I come hungry or eat half. Either way this is a treat after a workout. The staff will answer any questions and service is with a smile

The food was very good, but an oriental woman who appeared to be in charge or possibly an owner was unfriendly, very unprofessional and cold. Made for a very unpleasant experience as it was our first time there.
Burgers are on point! They are huge and very tastey. I had the Eddie Lopez burger, rocket size. It was delicious! I also tried the gyro, cheese fries and onion rings. The gyro was excellent. The fries are like carnival fries. The onion rings are fresh. Prices are reasonable and service is great! Places to sit inside or order online for a quick pickup. They have one of the largest soft drink for sale collection Ive ever seen. Hundreds of different flavors. 🙂

Great old fashioned juicy burger, but with too much sloppy oozing stuff, need LOTS OF NAPKINS. ONE OF THE BETTER TASTEING BURGERS IVE HAD IN PHOENIX.PLACE IS BUSY ! took about 35-40 min to get out order,,, best call ahead and order then go pick it up as seating is LIMITED.

Located in a somewhat difficult to see location in a poorly maintained corner strip mall, this little restaurant is a gem. It has hundreds of rare and sometimes old brand soda pops in bottles, cold and ready to drink. Hand made big and tasty burgers with fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly and service is good. I had a Green River which I haven’t had since the 60’s, and their daily special burger. Filling and delicious!! You won’t be disappointed.
