I ordered a Jeld-Wen single door with two sidelites to replace my sliding glass door through Home Depot. The door was not manufactured correctly when it was delivered. Unfortunately the sliding door was already removed and the HD installers could not put it back in. I paid extra to have the door painted with different colors on the outside and inside. They had put the interior color on the outside so the colors didn’t even match the middle door. How could they have not noticed the middle door color didn’t match the sidelites?? Also the middle door was hung incorrectly so that the door does not meet the weather stripping allowing air to flow in. The warranty people were called by HD and me and it took them a week to call me back. When they did, they said the installers would be calling me to set up a time, which took another week for them to call me. The time is now set up for a month from now. Meanwhile, the temperatures here in Mesa are reaching 120 degrees and I have a door that is not completely installed. I will never order Jeld-Wen products again based on the poor quality and warranty delay in fixing the door.

Been waiting 8 months for a warranty claim for an improperly manufactured door. Just got an email that they screwed up the replacement part for the second time so now I need to wait another month. If you value your time and sanity, choose any other company besides Jeld-Wen for your door and window needs.

Former employee management is horrible!! They pick & choose favorite. let certain employees get away with things unsafe environment forklift drivers almost running over employees doors falling over, people using tools not certified for they don’t take employee safety seriously get accused of false accusations with out proof they terminate you when pto has been approved saying no call no show. Very unorganized poor lack of communication & management the manager shoemaker makes jokes of safety situations very unprofessional!!! Stay away from jeld-wen!!!!

Ordered French door replacements for our broken sliding door in early September through Lowes. They gave us a delivery date three weeks out for October 3rd. The delivery was then pushed to October 11 stating they hadnt made the doors yet. I received a call on October 10th telling me they are just backed up and delivery is now October 18th. Today I just got another call today from Lowes stating the rep told them they messed up the order and are pushing back to November 6th delivery. I had to just cancel our order because our sliding door is pretty damaged and cant continue to wait just to have it pushed back again especially as it gets a little colder.

This place is very unprofessional. The Hispanic employees are rude trouble makers and the Hispanic supervisors condone this unacceptable behavior. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They are primarily related or good friends that start issues with non hispanic new hires. This place is real trash.
