Staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Asked for assistance in cutting material and was barked at to wait at the front. I had been waiting at the front, only to be ignored and skipped over repeatedly.Generally, the store is dark, somewhat dated. Its difficult to match up the color of the materials when you cant see, because of the poor lighting. Overall they seem to run this place like a big yard sale, and good luck finding the material you need or getting someone to cut it for you.Typical scenario, come down here, sort through rolls of material half of which are on the floor, and then wait, wait and wait for the staff to get to you.

They are very helpful! I arrived with my disabled friend just before they closed. They quickly helped her choose her needed fabrics and padding. They carried everything out for us and had it in the truck before my friend was back in. The selection is plentiful!

Hector and the rest of the folks are awesome! Friendly, know what they have on stock, very quick to get fabric cut and answer questions. $3 per yard closeouts always have some interesting rolls too. These guys have a ton of upholstery supplies in stock.

Tons of fabrics - aisles and aisles of it. Leathers, faux leathers, whatever you need for your boat, car, curtains, furniture, etc.When we remodeled our home 8 years ago, we spent a ton of time here - why spend all that time and effort choosing exactly what you want in paint, counters, doors, flooring, and then just have boring furniture?They have a huge selection of discounted sunbrella to choose from. Ive been back repeatedly for that as we change and add to our outdoor furniture.Through the not-so-secret-door are remnants and other fabrics marked down.Today we were in for a beautiful bright fuschia microfiber. H & R Fabrics staff did well in assisting me locate seat vinyl, piping material, and 1/2 in. foam for my recover project. The selection of material is amazing. A little far, as I reside in Florence, but well worth the trip due to the vast selection of materials available and the prices are considerably less than the Casa Grande competition. Will never go again. Went into store today and the lady standing infront of me telling me i need to wear a mask is not wearing a mask. I say i dont own one and she tells me i can buy one from them. Conflict of intrest or for our saftery??? Ill go else where from now on!!So behind the desk 3 from the entrance and exit is safe to wear no mask, and talking to entering customers no mask, but walking around wherehouse is a danger with no mask. Geniuses!!Keyston Bros does not require a mask.

Todays visit to H & R Fabrics was the most fun shopping experience Ive had in a long time! I went in yesterday for foam for reupholstering a chair. A nice man, who I today learned is Victor, explained that I should bring in the pattern or the seat itself for cutting the foam exactly. So I did. He was at the counter helping a customer, but stopped to greet me wholeheartedly, thanking me for coming back - and I had no idea he would remember me! Another nice guy (Lorenzo) led me to the foam room and cut what I needed, after making sure it was exactly what I wanted. I had no idea where to start looking for the perfect fabric, but thats where Ruthie comes in. She showed me the area I needed, and then specifically the colors and the paisley pattern I was hoping for. I watched my fabric being cut on their huge, fancy, ACCURATE machine while joking around with the guys, who are funny and charming. That continued all the way through the checkout. Im hooked, and cant wait to go back for other projects (and to meet more of the staff!)
