This place is actually amazing! We had the best experience having our portrait taken, they included us throughout the entire process. It was so cool to learn a little about the history of tintypes and to gain a family heirloom that will literally outlive us all :) I plan to get family members gift cards for Christmas, because it’s literally the coolest experience and the photos turn out so beautiful. You also receive a high quality digital image and have the option to have prints made at the shop in the future if you choose. 10/10 highly recommend!

The whole team was amazing! Everything was super easy and they helped us figure out how to pose for the photo which was great. Will definitely be going back to take more photos--they are very knowledgeable and they have the cutest gifts in store too! :)

Me and my husband came here after finding a video on TikTok about this place. Let me start out by saying it’s seriously such a beautiful shop, they have cool artwork on the wall and sell beautiful items as well. I came here 38 weeks pregnant because I wanted something different for a “maternity” shoot. They made my vision come to life I told them I wanted to show my belly and I wanted it to look vintage vibe they executed it ! I absolutely recommend this place, they have amazing talent and they take pride in taking timeless pictures, we are already planning are next shoot when our baby is here. The owners are so down to earth and make you feel so welcomed.

Came here to do a portrait as a gift and had a blast. What an exciting and rare experience to have a tin type taken. Learned so much through the process, these folks are happy to share their knowledge and explain the chemistry of the development. Bonus was the handmade leather wares. I cannot recommend s&c enough! I loved our experience at Silver and Cedar! Making an appointment was easy. I was so thankful they were able to get us in on our desired time and date. We sat for 3 portraits which all turned out amazing. It’s a much different experience than your typical JC Penny—in a good way! My kids had a great time thanks to the calm atmosphere in the studio.
