The sign on the door said NOTICE, Face Masks Required, Please Respect Social Distancing After Entering, Thank You, U-Haul however when picking up the trailer on 5/11/2021, only one employee had a mask. I wore a mask to comply. The General Manager wore no mask, sat at a service terminal for more than 10 minutes and offered no help. Eventually, he left the room. Other customers arrived, seeing two people in line waiting, asked if we had been helped. Answering no, they left saying I cant wait to be helped. After another 5 minutes passing, the General Manager came into the room and said can I help you? I said yes, I have a reservation. He said go ahead and pull your tow vehicle to the trailer and I will be right out to make the connection, then well come back inside to complete the paperwork. I pulled my tow vehicle in front of the trailer and waited another 10+ minutes. He came out, made the connection, took no pictures (that I am aware of but is normal with U-Haul) and told me to go back inside for the paperwork. I went back inside, paid with a credit card, and he sloppily folded the three pages (contract and user pages) and shoved them into a U-Haul sleeve saying there you go. I returned the trailer on 5/12/2021, this time no employee had a mask on, but I had mine on to comply with the sign on the door. The General Manager told a female employee to go outside and disconnect my trailer. She said you will need to come out to lift the trailer off the hitch as I am not strong enough. After well over 5 minutes, the General Manager and another female employee came outside (no masks on any of them). The GM lifted the trailer off my vehicle and the female employee said you are good to go and I emailed you the final bill for $34.03. It was clear the GM micro-manages the employees at this location, does not comply with rules set by corporate U-Haul (masks), and is not very good at servicing customers. I dont expect anyone to kiss my a$$, but at least a little respect for a customer that is paying their wages goes a long way! U-Haul needs to send in a blind customer to test this GM and see how this facility is run! The female employees seemed scared of the GM. I would guess the outcome would be surprising.
Customer service and ease of transaction are 5 stars at this location. Joseph was specifically great and helpful.Four stars only because the amount of upcharging offers you have to get through before checking out a fn vehicle.
I would say just ask for Susie Fletcher and consider it done. If there is a way, she will find it. A truly passionate and caring individual!!
I was initially having issues with the app, so I walked into the customer Entrance to talk to the front desk employees. Susie and the other group all there were incredible. Susie helped me fix my reservation to get me on my way to finish my move, and then she helped verify and run me through the instructions for the storage unit I bought at the same location. Overall, I wish I could give them 10 stars because they made a stressful day a lot better.

The truck was old and had issue when I first picked it up with air in the brake lines. While driving it the break light came on and it begin to ding really loud in the cab. Called the road side assistance, which was helpful. However the first technician/tow guy called and was very rude. Once he was here he said yeah it needs to be towed and I asked will you do that or do I need to let them know even though he was the tow truck. He told me he would take care of it. Come the next day the uhaul was still out front. So I contacted the support number again and they advised the guy last night should have towed it but he didnt. So they sent another tow which came and got if a few hours later. Come 5 days later they charge me $171.99 more then they should have, so I had to wait on hold for 40+ minutes to try and get my money refunded
Ive been using this location for years. One of the best and most professional. I have never had any problems. I would recommend to anyone who needs to rent a truck or storage.

As far as U-Haul and rental locations in general go, this is a great location. I cant speak for trailers or storage, butIve rented vans of various sizes from this location on three separate occasions and the customer service and process has been great. Most recently, I was helped by Tiffany. She took time to answer my questions, helped me decide on a few additional products, and was certainly a friendly expert. If I wasnt moving to an area that puts me further away from this U-Haul location, Id be back again for my moving rental needs.
Each time I use the moving services at this facility, I am floored by the customer service experience. Everyone I have ever encountered here has been helpful and a joy to work with.
Showed up to pick up my rental and office was closed. After a 40-minute drive, U-Haul had me drive another 40 minutes to go to a different location.
When I went to pick up trailer I was told they didnt have the right tool to remove old ball, they would have to sell me a reciever also. I removed the ball in the parking lot but when I went back in they closed the door and locked it and went home being 5:05 on Sunday. No curticy scamscam

Poor customer service. Only one person working the counter and several other employees talking out side and one walking through the lobby seeing customers waiting and did not offer to help. Customer service is not priority at this place and a 40 minute wait in line seems to be the accepted norm for employees. Avoid this place, down the freeway 2 minutes there is another U-Haul, try that first.

Ive used U-Haul several times recently and all the people Ive dealt with are friendly, professional, and patient through moves which were stressful for me. But the staff seem to lighten my load with their positive attitude.
The staff at this location is always pleasant, upbeat and helpful. I rent from here 3-4 times per year when I need a truck, van or trailer to go pick up whatever my wife finds a craigslist deal that is too good to pass up or when I get to haul branches and brush to the landfill.

UHAUL oversold my reservation at my desired location so I drove ~20 miles one way out of my way to come here because they had the trailer I reserved in stock. When I asked if I could return the trailer to the location that I originally reserved it at (which was much closer to me) I was informed that I could not. I exasperatedly stated that policy was wholly unfair as it was the companys systems that caused the issue and the employee working the counter got VERY snarky with me. That experience has cemented in me that I will go to great lengths to avoid any UHAUL product in the future. I will now gladly drive out of my way to avoid UHAUL if that means bypassing their awful systems and terrible customer service.

This locations been exposed to COVID 19 recently. A couple was living in a unit there and got kicked out. The couple yelled they have COVID and no precautions were taken. They didnt clean the unit and was rented out the next day. Seen them disrespect and demoralize other coworkers... Anyone know the number for the Better Business Bureau?

This location was the closest to my house and we needed to rent a pick up truck. Susie was extremely helpful and sweet. Someone reserved the only truck they had, but they were 2 hrs late so we got the truck. I was pleasantly surprised that the truck we got was a 2019 Chevy truck with 2300 miles on it. Very disappointed. Drove 20 minutes to get my two propane tanks filled. They advertise Fast fill. Fast pay.. But apparently thats only when everyone isnt in a meeting: and the one technician on duty isnt in the middle of a job.. Come back later..... Sure.Disappointed.
Wow! Unbelievable! You spend $70 dollars a month on a tiny over priced storage space unit and they won’t even let you use their air machine to fill up your low tire pressure in your car. The manager told me to the gas station to get air. I will go to a different storage facility all together!
It was awesome, easy quick process to pick up the truck. We used it for about 2 hours and then dropped it off no problems. Awesome staff, Dino at the front desk was very funny and helpful!
One line: not worthy of dealing with this location and Uhaul in general. This location is disappointing, you will be better off choosing a different uhaul location or a different provider. Have been uhaul customer for about 6 years, multiple services; truck rentals, storage, moving help etc, multiple locations, tx, ny etc. off all these, this particular location is worst and gave me a real hard time. And overall, Uhaul is also going down in terms of customer service, experience and value. Even the central uhaul office is of no help and doesnt care or value you even if you are a very long term customer. I wish I had taken my business to a different uhaul location or all together a different company. There was a rude, careless person at desk, who is not there now, very bad customer experience or service. I was surprised by how friendly and helpful everyone at this location was. I had to call and change my reservation dates and was worried I would lose my special pricing. The person who helped me over the phone was so helpful and made sure I kept the discount. When we got to the store to pick up the truck the staff in the store was equally as awesome. He was patient and kind, answering all my questions and giving some extra tips. Maybe because customer service is horrible at so many places that when you get good service it really is a pleasant surprise. The local management at this store must be doing something right.

Best customer service Ive had at any business in the recent purchases Ive made. Rented a trailer, no hassle, a few cautions the sales guy offered which all made sense, and the tech checking out and hooking up the trailer were awesome, working hard, communicating well, and had great attitudes. Some of these places Ive been to in the past from other companies have been very unfriendly and the service was extra slow. These guys at this location were fast, and friendly. I found out they sold propane too, so I will definitely bring them my business for refills as long as they keep these employees around!
It was an easy to rent experience and Robert Willis was very helpful and courteous. They have so many useful things that you can purchase to make your move much easier and less stressful👍👍👍👍
I had a spur-of-the-moment need to assist someone moving some items here in town, and it ended up being more than would fit in my car. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to reserve a truck early on Sunday morning, as the location was closed, but U-Haul made it very simple to reserve online and they had a streamlined auto check-in and check-out. Everything was explained very thoroughly, and the entire process took just minutes. I will definitely be renting through U-Haul again, should the need arise.
Helper reservation guy was very nice & informative; he didnt push the more expensive truck & recommended the less expensive one, cause we dont really need a ramp, which was true, after I thought about it. So thats cool!!! This local is central to a lotta stuff. You can see it from the freeway but sometimes its hard to figure out how to get in there. Just turn like youre going to Waffle House or Dennys, on Deer Valley & the I-17, then keep driving & you can then see all the trucks in the big parking lot. Huge sign directs to customer parking. Really groovy, yo
Reservation was not ready, had to return after store opened to pick up my van even though I had reserved as a self service pickup. Then after finally getting van over 1.5 hours late. I am now being charged 280 dollars for 2 days ($19.95, per day, 10 per day insurance and .69 per mile) when I had for less than 2 days, and only 174 miles and returned clean with full tank of fuel. And when I try calling location they hang up when I try to find out why. When I call uhaul customer service they are even worse. They have no honest answer for the 4 days worth of charges and 280 dollar total.

I would like to start this by saying Isaac at the Deer Valley U-Haul location was AMAZINGLY helpful with the issue that is posted below, which is the reason for the high rating for the local U-Haul.I recently had to contact U-Haul International due to an eAlert on my file, supposedly for an outstanding fee. The representative I spoke with, by the name of Jocelyn Garcia, had advised me this was due to an outstanding balance due to mileage and the credit card used at the time did not approve the full amount. I was aware of the outstanding charge at the time of the original reservation, and once advised of the outstanding balance, had paid for the balance in cash. This was August 2013. I reserved my U-Haul online 4/2/18 and did not have any issues with the reservation. It wasn’t until today, 4/5/18 that my reservation could not be completed due to this “eAlert”. Upon speaking to the aforementioned representative, I was told that I still had the outstanding fee PLUS service charges due to length of time it had been outstanding. I advised this has since been paid, and yet was told I could not reserve a truck until resolved. This was while I was at the U-Haul location, after reservation had long since been confirmed. I had requested to speak to Jocelyn’s manager, and she stated she was a manager and there was not a higher manager that I could speak to. This is unacceptable. Surely, this individual I spoke with was NOT the CEO of U-Haul, and being the first to answer the customer service line, advising me that there is not a higher representative to speak to is false and considered an egregious refusal to a customer’s request. I repeated advised that I need to speak to someone higher than this representative, to which this representative continued to refuse. I then asked for the representative’s name, which the representative gave, asked for an identification number, which the representative refused. The representative only offered to waive the “service charges” but still advised that the only way I may complete the reservation was to pay the outstanding fee. Which, as stated above, I had already paid several years ago.After completing this HORRENDOUS call, Isaac, the person at the local U-Haul that was assisting me with the current reservation, was willing to work with me with a more positive solution in regards to how to handle the outstanding fee, He agreed with my plight, and stated that if there was an issue with the reservation, I should have been notified when the reservation was initiated, not until I was present at the U-Haul to receive the truck and delaying my reservation. Isaac was polite, helpful, respectful, and demonstrated the level of customer service I expect from ANY company.
Decent place to rent a truck from. I checked on online which made the experience at the store very easy. Our truck was 25 mins late for our pick up time but it was the previous renters fault. They apologized and called the customer to ensure more of our time was not wasted.

As a rental place theyre fine. Their prices are ok, double check theyll rent to your vehicle if renting a trailer. Have run up against that issue. Very frustrating. Most of the guys are nice, I have issues with some staff but Ill leave that alone. Basically for real Uhaul stuff theyre fine, for propane GIVE THEM A MISS. Near by is an RV joint is much much better. I cannot stress how much you should NOT get propane here.

Rented a big 26 ft truck for an entire week to move out of my house. They had the truck and all of the gear I needed ready to go right when I asked for it, even during the busy moving season. The staff here even helped me to make sure I was getting the best deal for what I needed.

As a former UHaul call center rep, I can confirm that they gave me very good and friendly service. I rented a short truck for in town use, which worked well & was clean. The check in & out process was easy & accurate with email confirmations.
