A group shop for delicious chocolates! They have been at that store forever, and I love the fact that it was a place I went to with MY Gram (not many of those places are still around)....Anyways...Amazing Little Chocolate Shop that is a must shop!

Very nice candy store. A little on the pricier side. Hoping the chocolates will be worth the price.Be careful entering the store as the entrance is right on the road by a sharp corner and traffic drifts close to you entering.

Ive been here twice and both times been under-impressed. The service seems fine if not very friendly/welcoming either time, and the chocolate offerings seem below average and incredibly overpriced. Ive never seen a box of truffles that cost $95 in Pittsburgh in my life. Yes, its an extra-large box, but you can get a medium size box of the best truffles ever at The Speckled Hen (granted, its a bit of a trek) for $45-ish and a similar medium sized box at Andersons for under $30. The chocolate is good, but I definitely wouldnt say better than Andersons which is both less expensive and stocks 10x as much product. I appreciate small businesses, but I do feel like there are similar, better options in the Burgh.

Was in a hurry to get a cupcake for a friend’s birthday, went in 10 minutes before closing and they were great! Very helpful in choosing one of their many flavors and very patient with us!

My family and I had a great time here, they had a wide variety of tasty treats for purchase and we enjoyed almost everything we tried. The prices were fair and what you would expect to pay for a smaller business like this one

I stopped in to see if they had butter creams. They sure did. And they are awesome. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I wanted to send them ( the butter creams)to my sister for her birthday and they handled it all including shipping. If you get a chance try their candy it is very good.

So much chocolate! this is a cozy little store with a large selection of chocolates and candies. offerings range from small, single truffles to larger gift boxes - and everything Ive ever tried has been delicious. store personnel are very friendly too, they offered excellent suggestions for gift giving.

Stopped in after visiting the pinball place across the street. The lady at the counter offered us a couple of samples AND saved us money on our purchase by offering us a non-seasonal bag of the exact same Easter chocolates we were purchasing. Everything we tasted was decadently delicious. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Pittsburgh.

I ordered the Chocolate Covered Pretzels and a box of Assorted Milk and Dark Chocolates for a gift. I was very impressed with the brilliant gold box. The chocolates were shipped so quickly and customer service was perfectly pleasant. Since Ive had the pleasure of tasting these in the past, I knew I was giving a wonderful present. The chocolate is the best Ive ever had!

I always bought the filled licorice, they use to be really good. This year they are not the same. They added some licorice to the package that are not filled and they use to have a nice fine sugar coating on them. They just are not the same. Im little disappointed. Especially when I had someone who works in Pittsburgh buy me 12 packages for me. Check the photo I submitted.

Betsy Anne was giving out samples of their chocolate at an even I attended and I’m so glad I stopped at their table! Everything was delicious! The peanutbutter cups were to die for and ENORMOUS.

Visiting the Betsy Ann Chocolates store at the Big Bend in West View is a throw-back in time. It was a stop on the old streetcar line and now convenient to I-279, inside are glass display cases allow one to pick favorites and find a new confection to try.My tradition of stopping there was started when I moved back to Pittsburgh and co-workers found out I lived near-by. I became the Valentines Day truffle courier. The Easter candy selection is large, with filled eggs, bunnies and dark chocolate crosses and white chocolate lambs.

The factory store in West View is an absolute must visit if you love chocolate as much as I do. This tiny store is filled to bursting with their famous truffles and other confections, even bags of their not so perfect candies sold at a discount. Some folks think Sarris Candy is the best -- theyve never tasted Betsy Ann.

Betsy Ann Chocolates and me go way back to when they were the candy company for Hornes Sept store in my beloved burgh!! Yes it is the best Chocolates but moving product faster is so important and hiring people who care about where they work. Importance that the corporate isnt caring about. I have tried to influence the corporate by talking to them about expansion. Location location location. It will be the end of this absolutely FANTASTIC CANDY Co if they dont make some major changes. Move product so there is no stale product because its pulled and checked and No changing of dates. This company has history and quality....they cant mess it up or they will pull it under water. Who then will no the traditions of Easter eggs and all those yummy flavors .... I love Betsy Ann Chocolates!!!

I lived in Pittsburgh many years ago & I still crave these chocolates. I now drive 2+ hours EACH WAY to get my fix.The chocolate is creamy & melts in your mouth just like good chocolate should. The chocolate covered strawberries are my weakness, very messy but worth every drip. Chocolate covered cherries are a close second (they are bite sized) and so many others.I do love Betsy Anns chocolate

I travel all over the world for work and have had Chocolates in Europe, Africa, and Central America. Ive had some of the most famous chocolates in the USA including Sees Candies, Fannie May, etc...Even spent time with Norman Love Confections (the most beautiful chocolates on the planet). But no one makes a better truffle than Betsy Ann. You have to try the Peanut Butter Truffles, or better yet, the Peanut Butter Truffle Easter Eggs... They are far an above the best on the planet. Soft outer shell and the smoothest, creamiest, most perfect center of any truffle. The filling includes chunks of whatever version you are getting, like peanuts, oreo cookies, Dark Chocolate, etc... Youve to to try them, they are worth the price.

Love the sea salt caramel chocolate pretzels but wish they were single pretzels and not clumps. Overall, I enjoy their chocolate much better than Sarris. So happy to have them in our local Sams club around the holidays!

Betsy Ann is a well known secret in Pittsburgh and far surpasses godiva chocolates. Their boxes won a European design award and their truffles are, i think, the best of the best.

Horrible, horrible experience.My family purchased chocolate covered pretzels for me for Mothers Day 2015. When I opened the factory-sealed package, i realized there was no nutrition information provided. I thought all packages needed to provide that, especially since it was factory sealed.Upon eating some of the pretzels, I realized they tasted stale. I noticed that the best by sticker stated 6/30/2015. But upon closer inspection of the package, the 6/30/15 sticker was covering up another sticker. When i lifted the sticker up, the original sticker was best by 1/31/15!! No wonder the pretzels tasted stale!!To add insult to injury, when I called Betsy Ann corporate to notify them of the problems, the customer service person, Nikki, seemed like she could care less. She could not get me off the phone fast enough. No apologies were given, just that I could return the box to where they were purchased for a refund. This was a gift! What a great thing to tell my family.I like to support local businesses, so will stick with Sarris chocolates in the future. I have NEVER had any problems with their products and their customer service is definitely better than what I experienced with Betsy Ann.

Very Disappointed in Betsy Ann in Allison Park for putting out non Gourmet Chocolate foil turkeys. . If you are a Gourmet chocolate store then sell Gourmet do not try to fool us . We will no longer get chocolate from your store. Would it have been so hard for you to make and sell your own brand of foil turkeys.

My husband bought me a dozen dark chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines Day and although the chocolate was very good, the strawberries were tiny pieces, not even whole small berries just pieces. Very disappointed especially after he told me they were over $32

Got chocolate strawberries when bit into the piece of strawberry was so small it was very disappointed. I heard they said just like cordial cherries but thats impossible I have eaten these and they were always like a cherry and 3 times the its bit strawberry piece I got.

Some of the best chocolate I have ever had. You MUST have a chocolate covered strawberry or you havent lived. 🍓

The best chocolate covered cherries ever

They offer a nice variety of fine chocolates and their sugar free chocolates that are delicious and dont taste sugar free!!!

I have always loved their candies-the truffles, in particular. There is not another truffle in my book that can stand up to theirs, Godiva included. For Easter I did not want to purchase a lot of candy so that I would be tempted to over-indulge. I went to the Giant Eagle Market DIstrict and purchashed 2 dark chocolate truffle eggs with dark chocolate filling. These were placed in my Easter basket and were blessed by Father Regis Farmer on Holy Saturday. We had an early Easter Lunch and by the time evening rolled around, my egg was calling to me. I thought that I would just eat half. It was a nice size. Well, I took one bite and immediately went to heaven. The dark creamy richness just melts in your mouth anf the intensity of the dark chocolate flavor is like a good cup of dark roast coffee, I was glad that I had chosen this flavor. And after all that, I cant believe I ate the whole thing. But it was so good going down that I dont regret it one bit!

I had an old gift card that had a balance of $35.56 on it from 2009 that I was given because of some stale chocolate covered pretzels that I had shipped. I called the factory store and asked if gift cards every expired and they told me no. I drove out to the factory store from the south hills, gathered my candy and when I went to check out they said that the gift card number did not exist. The girl at the counter took my information and asked if she could have someone from management call me back on monday to see what the problem was. I never heard from anyone so I called the factory store today and told them what happened. They said it was a gift card from a franchise store that closed and therefore would not be honored. This was very disappointing. I will stick to candy from my local establishments.
