As an avid sewer, I have been a customer of this amazing resource for several decades. I can always find something to inspire of quality. And if I need help with a hem or other advice, there is a wealth of knowledge to be shared as well.In this day and age, I am so appreciative of the level of cleanliness in the store as well. Masks are required and that gives me an extra level of comfort even though I am vaccinated. They have a sign posted right on the center of the door. I respect that they are trying to protect their customers as well as their 96 year old mother who still likes to visit the store on occasion. Keep up the good work!

LOVE this shop. Fabulous array of fabrics at all price ranges with buttons and trims you won’t find anywhere else. Tami and her staff always make me feel welcome and go out of their way to help me make wise choices. This is my Happy Place where I always find something I “need” 😊

I walked into the store a couple of months ago to purchase an obscene amount of fabric. I was very focused on the women behind the counter because I was definitely going to need their help. I’m assuming it was the owner who asked me to put on a mask. I felt a little nervous because I did not bring a mask with me. I stated this and proceeded with my compound sentence to ask if she had any to provide. Before I could ask, she interrupted me with a derisive laugh, shaking her head at me, and then turned her head away from me to speak to someone else. It was extremely disrespectful. In my excitement to speak to someone for help with my large purchase, I had totally missed a table in the front of the store where she did have masks available. All she had to do was point the table out. When you own a business, there is no room for rude self righteous attitudes. Had she not cut me off in the middle of my sentence, she would have realized I was only trying to inquire if she had any masks available for someone who did not have one. I was not trying to skirt HER rules for her establishment. I had driven an hour to get to her store. I walked out without a doubt it was the correct thing to do.

The Fabric Place is the best place in the tri-state area for excellent quality designer fabrics. They carry a selection of beautiful fashion and bridal fabrics and notions along with fabrics for dance and ballet costumes. The experienced staff is very friendly and helpful with both fabric selection and sewing technique. Whether you are a novice or an experienced sewer, this is the place to go for beautiful fabrics and friendly service!

Tami goes above and beyond to help you find just the right fabric for your project. I have gotten my fabric for my last several projects here and I am shocked at how little waste I have! Love the quality of the fabrics as well. Not your typical JoAnn fabrics. Will continue to always support family owned businesses who do it right!

Went on Saturday to check this place out and it is closed for appointment only visits. I checked the hours before I left so this was disappointing.

They were wonderful. I am from out of town and live in Fairmont WV. They were very helpful. Sue helped me find things I needed and for everything else there is an ordering option. If I need fabric and cant make the trip, they can even send it to me. They have an awesome selection of fabrics that are both classic and timeless as well as very current with the latest fashion. I was blown away with their silk selections and ordering options for them. It was very refreshing to explore a good quality fabric store.

Amazing stuff! I was visiting from Morgantown and came to check it out. The stuff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of unique fabrics. Also the 50% off section had some high quality fabrics. Will come again.
