I needed to take care of mold in an integral garage immediately for a walk through inspection of a house that I was selling. My realtor suggested calling American Mold Remediation so I had left voicemail explaining my dilemma and 2 days later the job was complete!The whole job was done in one evening, after completing 2 other jobs at other locations earlier that day, and they even managed to do a few areas I had not noticed prior to my call. The garage looks better than it ever had even before the mold problem! And just in time before the plumber arrived to do a French drain along the one wall, which is shown in the after photos.I can’t say enough about how hard they worked on a hot summer evening. Extremely happy with the work and experience Brandon and his team provided. He was very thorough and listened to our concerns when he did the initial consult (unlike another company we got a consult from). When there were some unexpected delays from his end he kept us pretty well appraised of the situation and even did some additional work on our basement we were very appreciative of. Brandon coordinated with us over the phone, visited our home, and began the work for an unbelievably great price. We soon discovered the problem was far more than we ever imagined. Not only did he complete the job for the original price, despite MANY TIMES more work, he could not have been more kind and accommodating. He helped our brother in law unload two tons of hardwood flooring, cleaned construction debris from our garage, ripped out a bathroom...just an unbelievable amount of work. He left our basement clean, debris free and most importantly, MOLD FREE. He also made great suggestions for moving water outside away from our home. Brandon truly went above and beyond to help us out when we purchased a home that turned out to be riddled with mold. A different mold remediation company had claimed to have rid the home of mold, and even had an un-biased third party inspector confirm as much. However, the lab results showed otherwise.When Brandon and American Mold Remediation came in to correct the work done by the previous company, they found that the addition on our house was built directly on dirt with no vapor barrier, the dirt was actually touching the floor joists, the walls themselves were so rotted in some places that they could easily be dismantled with a gentle tug by hand, and there was still active mold in *every spot* that had been treated. All of this was seen by the original company, who apparently either didnt care or simply decided not to address the issues.Brandon and his crew went above and beyond the scope of work in their estimate, digging out the crawlspace under our kitchen, installing a vapor barrier, removing the siding and rotted wall from the back of the house and replacing it, removing approximately 4 times the drywall and floor that the other company removed, and treating and spraying the entire home repeatedly. They also completely treated and coated our basement walls (sandstone foundation) and floor.The mold infestation was so bad that after all of that work, the home *still* had slightly elevated levels of certain allergenic molds, so Brandon and his crew came back *again* to make it right (at his own expense, I might add). They ran air scrubbers and air exchangers for days, Brandon personally re-sprayed and treated the home daily until he was satisfied.Brandon is in demand, and his phone rings non-stop, but he always gets back to you. American Mold might seem to have a longer turn-around time than some other companies, but take it from me: do it once, and do it right. Its never worth taking shortcuts with your health.

Great experience with Brandon at American Mold. He has been truthful, reliable, and hardworking. I needed a job done asap because mold was found in a room that I was replacing carpet in (I pulled out the carpet) and the carpet guys were going to come the next day. He called me back and worked late at night so just I didnt have to reschedule the carpet guys, which took forever to schedule. Very personable and has the best interest of his customers in mind.

I had a small job that no one wanted to bother with, but I had to have a professional do it since we are going through a relocation company to move and they require EVERYTHING to be perfect. AMR remediated the basement in the house that Im renovating for myself in East Liberty. After being vacant for 8 years, the basement joists were covered in white mold, and it was uncomfortable to work down there without a respirator.After demoing the interior I called American Mold Remediation for an estimate. Brandon had great knowledge, gave a competitive estimate, and we scheduled cleaning and encapsulation for after I repaired drainage in the basement.The job ended up taking longer than AMR planned, with no increase in price. They cleaned the hell out of the joists; theyre clean and with the satin encapsulant look really good. Cleanup was top notch, dried, dehumidified, and vacuumed. Excited to have a workshop down there when my house is completed.Brandon and his crew were respectful, friendly, knowledgable, and did a really impressive job for around the same rate I was quoted by other remediators. Might sound like too much praise, but Im just very happy with the job they did.
