Fast service. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of vehicles available. The only ding I have against them is the placement of a particular security camera.The business has several security cameras with crisp clear video except the camera in the customer parking area. The camera is blurry and the view slightly obscured where you cant see all the vehicles.... Makes me think this is done on purpose to claim no liability if a event occurred.

I could not have asked for a better experience. We rented 3 Ubox containers for a cross country move, but needed one to arrive to our house one month prior to the other two to allow us to tidy the our house to put it on the market. Nikki and Laura are total badass wonderwomen that 1. Show up when they say they will, 2. Are friendly and 3. just make forklifts look fun. We realized while packing that we didnt have enough room for all of our stuff, so I rented another Ubox online on a Saturday at 9 PM. Laura calls at 8 AM Sunday morning saying she is on her way with the container and will be there in 10 minutes. I was so impressed with the turn around time at the last minute.Uhaul Pittsburgh made moving across country pretty stress free for us and we wouldnt hesitate to use them again if needed.

Easy online ordering and paying by credit card

I was a walk-in on a rather busy morning at opening. The staff was fast, friendly and I got just what I wanted. Hassle free and reasonable prices. It’s a great way to move larger items without having to beg and borrow from “that one friend with the big truck.”

Great experience renting here compared to a previous experience with McKnight Road. I rented a cargo van for a move, estimated my milage and put $59 down. I ended up needing the uhaul for a second day and they said not a problem see you tomorrow. When dropping off I was told I wasnt charged for the extra day and they ended up refunding me money due to me over guessing the milage a little bit.

This is such a neat building to have a storage facility in. The prices are cheap and the service is great. There is an area to pull a vehicle in to unload and the access to the units is nice as well. You can purchase packing needs in the office area as well, but the building itself is worth having a unit here.

Always have fair prices on their trucks and usually have availability. I tried to check in 10 minutes after they closed and was allowed. This meant alot to me and saved me a trip. Thank you!

I thought the location was clean. Staff was very helpful. The truck got me moved in one day and the price was reasonable. I have to say this was the best service I have received from any U-Haul or rental company ever. I would recommend this location and definitely Mike and the staff there.

They charged me way more than what I should have been charged. they charged me $87 for $19.99 van after two weeks. I was shocked when i saw my statement and i only rented it for 2 and half hours. i even filled their gas. Be careful when you deal with these guys.

When I arrived late after hours, I called the after hours help line but got no immediate answer. However, I was called right back by Mime who informed me the storage was closed but he gave me access for the night at 11:00 pm. Definitely went above and beyond to help me and theyre super friendly and nice. The only bad thing which others have mentioned: rodent droppings. They have traps though and theyre clearly working on it.

They have a bunch of every size truck available. I rented a 26 and got moving blankets and tape. The guy behind the counter was cool and made it easy. Sign sign pay done. I would rent here especially on short notice.

Anthony and Tyler provided down-to-earth and informative customer service, from helping me choose which boxes I needed to demonstrating the assembly thereof. I would highly recommend this branch, and these particular associates, to anyone anticipating a move.

My experience was pretty dreadful and I will absolutely consider another company over UHaul in the future.For starters, I was forced to take a rideshare way out in the country somewhere to pick up my equipment. It was such a long one way trip that the rideshare cost over $80. I was reimbursed by UHaul but I had to make the initial investment out of pocket.No one bothered to call me or tried to inform me in any way that this would be necessary, aside from an email they sent me a few days prior to my move. And guess what... When you reserve equipment at UHaul, you get about three or four useless promotional emails in the days following. So you tend to start disregarding them as they come in. A customer deserves a call when you move the location of equipment pick up over 30 miles away. This is a large city and not everyone has a car, an extra $80, nor an extra hour and a half to spare on their moving day.This was just the beginning.Most disturbing was the fact that my car was put at risk of being destroyed - and the lives and the safety of others were put at risk. This was due to the negligence and/or ignorance of a UHaul employee when they assisted with attaching my car to the tow dolly in Pittsburgh at the Liberty Ave location. The way this employee attached my car to the UHaul tow dolly caused a potentially very dangerous situation. I was informed by roadside services in Ohio when they inspected my vehicle (because it was slipping off of the tow dolly after an afternoon of travel) that I could have caused very serious damage and lost my car while driving on the freeway - the roadside service person also told me if there had been an accident that I would be likely found liable for any injury or damage caused.I was also severely inconvenienced by this negligence because I had to wait for roadside services (until 1am in the snow) to correct the error made at UHaul in the middle of my move.I have already reported this to UHaul over the phone TWICE but no one from UHaul bothered to follow up with me. I don’t know if the practice utilized by this employee is common practice but it is definitely unsafe at best and potentially deadly at worst. To my knowledge, no one from UHaul has bothered to address and correct the unsafe practice at this location.I actually tried reaching out to UHaul by phone today (because they emailed me a survey) and was put “on hold” to be transferred to a “manager” but the call went from silence to some weird default voicemail. No one has attempted to reach out to me at this point and I’ve decided to post my review because I’m sick of their useless customer service.Can’t say I’m satisfied with my experience at all. All of these ridiculous things threw off my moving schedule by two days and scared the living hell out of me. I plan to look into a moving service not associated with UHaul next time I have to move.

Great U-Haul facility. The workers there are awesome to deal with, and then the returning process is very seamless, they make everything easy!

U-Haul charged me a false cleaning fee for absolutely no reason I double checked before I left the truck at the drop off point. Called U-Haul and the store representative was very rude and I ended up hanging up on him. I explained the situation and his response was that “well if you’d have dropped the truck off back where you got it from” I payed for a one way rental so that was understood from the beginning. Now also when I spoke with this “gentleman” he explained that I would have to call the co company that I dropped the truck off at because he doesn’t have any information on why they charged the cleaning fee but the fee was charged from U-Haul. Coming to find out there was a nail in the back of the truck point is only use U-Haul as a last resort I’ll never use their “services” again poor company and I’m very disappointed with the 3000 Liberty Ave Pittsburgh PA location unprofessional attitude and they’re disrespectful towards their customers.

Took forever to find someone but once we did they were kind fast and knew what they were doing. They also gave us a great deal!

I came in with my wife and kids on Thursday. Pulled into the wrong end of the parking lot. There was a young man on the hillside in the back trimming some hedges. When I asked him for help he was very polite and pointed me in the right direction. I believe his name was Jim. The people at the counter were very polite as well!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. There was a computer issue where our truck was in the wrong location and the wonderful employees made sure it was quickly corrected and our move was as easy as possible.

Went to purchase boxes and packing materials. I have moved about every three years for the past 20 years of my life. I have this down to a science. I know exactly how many of what type boxes I need. The owner assisted me and was less than helpful, questioning my choices. I wanted a pack of each, med, large, xtra large, and 10 dish packs, tape and a box of paper. Total should have been ballpark $150 with the pricing that was advertised on the large signs above each item. I was informed the total was $190 (ish). When I questioned this, I received the response that the prices that are shown are not accurate and they didnt have the new pricing signs yet. I declined purchasing because I was at a different location yesterday and paid the prices that this store was actually listing. How long is this store going to get away with over charging and false advertising prices??? Very unethical.

I made a reservation weeks ago for a 20ft truck at this location due to how close it is to my apartment. Our move is in two days and U-Haul just called us today to let us know they don’t have any trucks available for us at this location and that we will have to go to a different location 12 miles away to pick up the truck. The new location does not open until 9:00 and we have the movers schedule to be at our apartment for 9:30. So now we have to rush up to pick up the truck at a different location and make it back in time to meet the movers who have also been scheduled for weeks. What is the point in reserving a truck if they can call you two days before your scheduled move and tell you it’s not available? The employee and manager we spoke with were both completely unsympathetic or apologetic. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. I would definitely not recommend using this location in the future.

Corey was awesome. What a pleasant experience. He answered all our questions, and even escorted up to the 3rd floor to show us where our unit was. Couldnt ask for anything more.

Quick and efficient and very clean

I was in need of moving truck, went down to this Uhaul and they helped me every step of the way. Christian and the rest of the staff is great. When moving into my new place I ran out space and remembered that Christian had offered me storage. I stopped back in to get storage. The unit was clean along with the rest of the facility. They had all the boxes I needed. I couldnt have had a better experience.

I had the misfortune of renting a uhaul as their systems went down. I understand that this happens and is not the staffs fault but everyone was super rude and unhelpful.

Moving carts are provided and the storage is definitely secure. The employees are professional, competent and nice! Unfortunately, a mouse got into our unit and pooped everywhere. Also, the floors are worn out and bumpy in places which caused a big box of glass dishes (of course) to fall off my moving cart and shatter.

Only thing is they need to make the doorways a lil wider and have emergency steps to use...God forbid any fires...youll be stuck😞🤦‍♀️

Had an excellent experience using a cargo van to move my belongings into a Storage unit at this Liberty Location. I have used many different storage units companies and I find this specific UHAUL location to be the absolute best. Guardian storage is not very customer friendly or clean and has horrible rates for moving items with their trucks.Without a doubt, Uhauls $20 flat rate on cargo vans combined with their $10 collision insurance make it a DEAL! (Most moves top out at less than $50.)While I do like the general manager (Calvin) of the Uhaul that is located on Bigelow, their units are never very clean.With Maxpoint security and a very patient rental office, I was super impressed by the speed and ease of everything.I even was confused by the card security system (because the bigelow store lacks one) and Mike, the owner, took time to explain it to me.... twice. I had messed it up a few times, but when i figured it out with their help, I couldnt help but be impressed.I look forward to retrieving my stored items cause I know theyll be well kept.Thank you, to Mike and his staff!
