My friend rented a truck out in Oregon, and drove it to here. The terminal is in Pittsburgh, on Smallman street.

Matt and his team have been swamped this past week, and I am grateful for the attentiveness and the way they did everything in their power to get me truck for the length of time I needed it. He stayed after hours to let me pick up in the evening and although I had to pick up at a different location than I intended, I was empathetic after hearing all of the staffing issues and long hours he was working. Thank you for all of your incredible hard work! You are making my stressful move much easier.

The only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because Matt was kind and helpful. First they didn’t have the truck I reserved and made me drive 40 minutes away to another location to get it, then wouldn’t let me return it to a closer location. Yes they charged me for the extra mileage that THEY required me to make. Unbelievable. Don’t use them.

Penske truck rental is horrible on smallman Street in Pittsburgh,was guaranteed to rental by 8 a.m. got a phone call at 7:30 in the morning saying come in at 9. When I arrived at 9 a.m. there were three other people waiting for trucks in the office was closed. Dealing with their dispatch and 800 number service was horrible. Still not there, this has happened twice service online rent at your own risk!

Called them up and was able to rent a truck that day. I needed a new Truck after Budget trucks drive shaft fell off.Penske saved me a lot of time and frustration by being able to provide me a truck on the spot. Yes it was more expensive, but the truck was reliable and safe. And most importantly, worked and didnt break down after less then 40 miles.

We had to wait outside while the guy inside talked on the phone to Comcast and his cell phone carrier. He was busy with personal business and not what he was there to do.
