We had a complete overhaul, 2 rooms of carpeting; 3 rooms of new maple hardwood and 1 room, entry way, and hallway of original maple hardwood was refinished. Floor Coverings International of Plainfield did a fantastic job of getting everything done timely and the Contractor’s used blended the new stain color from the old floor to the new floor seamlessly. Had new flooring Putin for my townhouse and couldn’t be happier! Came to my home with samples and was able to pick from a multiple carpeting and luxury vinyl waterproof flooring! The installers were amazing, they cleaned up and vacuumed when finished. They reinstalled my sink and toilet in my half bath and again perfection! Big box stores are no match for Floor Covering International, I highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Matt and Karen, being very attendant to our needs....,ie..matching an old wooded floor to a new pre-treated and high gloss shine. The crew that sent us had over 27 years of experience...The job was originally quoted to be done in two days, but instead told longer because it took one entire day to match the color stain that had the old wood, match the new wood...( No problem...take your time.) We found a perfect match to the floors.. The next day(Day 2) is when all the work was accelerated to complete the job.. However, this job was not rushed anymore...(Day three) time was taken to applying the stain up to baseboards and floor was coated the stain and sealer...(Day four) floor was finished ti sanding and buffing to accept the satin sealer...Taking their...my floor turned out gorgeous. Couldnt ask for anything more....Thank you Matt and Karen for sending us Mike and his brother-in-law...Taking their time has made us very happy!!!!

We had Floor Coverings International Plainfield install carpeting in our entire house. We had such a positive experience. The entire process was so convenient and smooth. They came to us with a great selection of samples. The installation was stress free and the crew did an amazing job with the clean up. We couldnt be more happy with the end product and look forward to doing business with them again with all our flooring needs.

We moved into a new house a few months ago. The carpets on the main floor and hardwood floors in the entryway and kitchen had recently been redone by Floor Coverings international. The basement, however, was due for new carpets. We called around for a few quotes one of which was Floor Coverings International as the previous owners left paperwork from when they had their work done.Matt came out and gave us a quick walkthrough of what the process would be like, brought samples to us based on our preferences, and set everything up right there.Took about two weeks from quote to finished job and installation was done in one day with the old carpet and pad hauled away by the installers. Everything was quick, easy, and professional.A bit more expensive than what we were quoted at home depot, but the quality and feel of the carpet is above and beyond what we expected to get from there.Matt was very friendly and kept us informed on the process throughout.

This company was by far the best when it came to assessing our needs and being completely professional.
