My contractor recommended SK Hamrah for completing the flooring for a 3rd floor loft area for a historic home Ive been restoring in Plainfield. Charlie and Bob were very professional and easy to work with in coming up with a budget-friendly solution for this unique space. The carpet and installation schedule was very fast and the installer Oscar and his team did an amazing job seaming the carpet in this unique space. As an added bonus, the shop is local and located in the enterprise zone, so sales tax was half of the normal rate. Id highly recommend SK Hamrah for your carpet and rug needs.

We are very pleased with our recent experience with S.K. Hamrah Rug Co. Our experience started off with dropping off a rug for washing. We werent even sure if the rug should or could be cleaned, however when Bob the owner opened up the rug to measure it up, I could tell he knew what he was looking at. We expressed our concerns that it had not been cleaned in years and that it needed some attention around the perimeter. Bob proceeded to show us a couple of quick videos and pictures on his iPad. He assured us that he could bring this rug back to life. Well let me tell you the washing and repair work came out well beyond our expectations, they even managed to remove odors from our dog that had a few accidents on the rug from time to time. Now that we could actually use this rug in our living room, we asked Bob if he could find us a complimentary rug for our dining room. He walked us over to a pile of rugs and showed us a few options, we immediately fell in love with one of the rugs and he offered us a deal on the rug that we couldnt refuse. Needless to say we will be using their services again and we would highly reccomend without hesitation.
