I like that you can go in and physically look at the lights. However, you cannot see the brand on most of the lights they have hanging and I assume there is a reason for that as you can find them elsewhere cheaper for pretty much the same products. The people we spoke with were nice however but the prices are very high even for some of the basic lights. I guess it is par for the area.

After searching online and at all the big-box stores, my sister referred me to Light Source Lighting. I was able to find everything I was looking for and more that I could not find anywhere else! Their product choices are extensive, of high quality, reasonably priced and absolutely beautiful! I loved being able to walk into their store and actually be greeted by a friendly person ready to help me. Not having to hunt someone down was a true pleasure and a refreshing change! Kim was exceptional in every sense of the word! She listened to what I was looking for and guided me exactly to some choices I could make. She made me feel like a long time valued customer even though this was the first time I ever stepped into this establishment. I also need to mention she was friendly and fun to work with. I never had a better time picking out lighting fixtures for my home than with Kim! THANK YOU KIM!!!! My friends asked me if I knew of a place where they could get special lighting. I told them I seen an ad recently for a lighting store in Plainfield. My husband and I came into the store and were immediately overwhelmed by the selection available. Josephine was amazing and guided us to different lights based on what we were looking for. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We went into for lights above our kitchen table and kitchen island and loved the lights so much we ended up getting lights for our dining room and foyer as well. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be repeat customers.

Our Builder originally recommended we use our lighting allotment at another store. We did not have a good experience there so they sent us to Light Source Lighting. What a huge difference that was! The showroom was packed with endless lighting fixtures all tastefully arranged with complementing furniture and accessories.We made an appointment with Lori who was friendly and professional and spent a good long time helping us decide what types of lighting would complete the look of our new home. We showed her pictures of some lights we had in mind from other stores or online and she was able to beat the prices we were quoted originally. In many instances she had something in the same style that we liked a lot more. She had a copy of our blueprints ready when we arrived and made sure all of our lighting fixtures were selected including our hallways and closets. Our quote was timely and reasonable. We dealt with her a couple of times and never felt like she did not remember who we were.When we are ready to upgrade a couple of our ceiling lights we will definitely return there. We have even suggested that our builder use Light Source exclusively. Thanks for a great experience!

Customer service is horrible. My husband and I walked into a practically empty store, there was one other customer there. The women working did not even acknowledge our presence. They did not greet us nor did they ask if we needed any assistance. One of the ladies that was assisting the other customer in the store, was very ignorant when speaking and explaining to the customer about some product. She stated to the customer that the closet he would get to Mexico was going to 26th California. They also continued on about Mexican names...how ignorant. I would have loved to purchase a light fixture from this store, if they would have better customer service representatives, with some education. I left very disappointed and frankly very insulted.

First time here to get an extender downrod for my ceiling fan, but will certainly be back. Their inventory is great and their service was quality.

What a selection! Cheri helped me find exactly what I was looking for. My advice: Dont delay. For a modest investment, you can update the look of your house and without knocking down walls. We replaced our outside lights and most of our downstairs lights. Could not be happier! Kim was amazing as he took care with each fixture installation. New guilty pleasure: calling home before I arrive and having all the lights turned on, so I can see them as I pull up!!

Ive had nothing but good luck and great customer service here. Yeah, maybe you might pay a little bit less somewhere else, but its a wonderful showroom where you can actually see the lights in person. Additionally, Ive been offered some great guidance and a good cup of coffee, Im certainly not going to get that at home depot. when we had some issues with cracked glass on one of our lights, we were offered a great replacement with no problems. While this place is not very close to my home, I find myself returning again and again whenever I need new lights.

This is an extensive lighting shop with knowledgeable staff and tons of selection. I have bought a light fixture here and they have an installer they work with. He was very professional and installation was done in a timely fashion.There is a separate charge for installation of course.They are very busy, so you may have to follow up if they are researching a product for you. This is my first choice for a lighting store!

We bought lights for the entire house after renovations. Love this store! They are helpful but not pushy and its just lights. I cant stand the Naperville lighting store with all the extra crap they sell. We go back to light source whenever we need lights!

I walked in the store 7mins to closing just to see if the lights I wanted was available.... The minute I walked in a rep stated we are closing did not even greet or asked if I needed help. They lost over 10k for being so rude to me...I was with my two little boys...they stated mommy maybe because we black I was so disappointed and shocked. Awful customer experience. I was at the store on 6/12/2019. 3 people were working that day...none of them acknowledge me but rather wanted to kick me out because they closing in 6mins...

Third time customer, i out fitted my house when we first build 22 years ago. I remolded the kitchen and dinning room 2 years ago they did all the new lights and now we are remolding the Master Bath and sll the are ftom there us the mirrows.
