Called asking for a quote and they told me to go somewhere else because they refuse to offer a quote. I already know the issue and Ive been to other places to confirm and all the other places offered free diagnostics and a quote upfront. The guy on the phone was SUPER unprofessional and basically told me to screw off. I would recommend staying FAR far away from this place. Id rather drive 20+ miles to the city to get my car fixed.

They are my regular guys who take care of my car. They do great work and are reasonably priced. Only negative is that they do not take you back to your house while waiting to get the work done. So you have to get back and forth on your own. Before COVID, they had a waiting room. That is no longer available

I feel their prices are extremely reasonable and my car has been running great since I have been taking it to this place. They always do quality work and I get my car back to me quickly which I have not experienced before in other places. In fact, I felt like my car was held hostage at other shops (sometimes for more than a week for simple repairs!) and got the run-around from some mechanics. Ive been to tons of auto shops, in different states...my entire life I have hated mechanics because in my experience they were theives...my car would be perfectly fine and I would leave and all of a sudden the next day my car would have some strange unforeseen issue. This is the FIRST and ONLY place I have ever not had this issue. I truly believe they are honest & fair and actually care about getting the job done right and not causing additional issues in the process. I am beyond grateful for finding them. Seriously.

I got a flat tire and they fixed it for me with true honesty. I have been using a different auto shop before but I noticed that I had been charged way more than necessary. Plainview Auto Care is a friendly neighborhood shop. We have used them for inspections and minor car repairs. They have always been fair and trustworthy. We went to them a couple times for one of our cars thinking that there may be some major work done. Both times they explained that the problem was minor and fixed the low cost issues. Other shops might have tried to up sell the issue... they did not.Then, just today, I had a low tire pressure indication on my dash board. I stopped in to ask if they had an air hose I can borrow to fill my tire. The response was thats ok, let me get a gauge and Ill check all 4 and fill them to the proper pressure... When I went to try and offer a payment, he declined and said it was OK and enjoy my day... Id say, that is an honorable local establishment!

I took my car, they showed me what was wrong, fixed my doors that were bent (biggest headache) without charging meFor it, the price was great (radiator job), service was fast, car is in perfect shape!The couch in which I was waiting was extra comfortable and the area was super cleaned!Every other place I’ve gone to fix my car they are so dirty!Other detail that made me feel very comfortable was the fact that there was a little girl hanging around there on the Saturday I went! As a woman it felt much more comfortable just to be there!Definitely they are my first option when I need anything with my car!

Ive been here plenty of times before... inspections, oil changes, filter changes, when my car was stalling, etc and Ive always had a pleasant experience. This past saturday I brought my car in for an inspection and oil change, all went well but when I got home I noticed they didnt change my sticker - no big deal. I drove around with my receipt just incase a cop pulled me over or ticketed me for my past due sticker.On Monday I dropped off my husbands car for an inspection and oil change as well. I work walking distance to him so I drop my car off an pick it up after work, normally. Well, 5pm rolls around and I realized they close at 5pm (mind you I havent heard from them all day - text or voicemail but they called me on saturday to let me know my car was finished) I ran over and got there at 5:15pm all the lights were off and the doors were locked. I see my car in the lot and Im hoping the keys are in it, considering they left my car unlocked. Well, no keys to be found and not to mention NO RIDE HOME. I had to call an uber and inconvenience a family member the next morning to drop me off at work. When I asked him what happened the next morning he tells me, I dont know what you want from me, I have it posted everywhere I close at 5 Okay, I totally get it but sometimes time gets away from us (I was scheduled to only work until 4pm but hey, things happen) So I tell him I get that but I never heard from them all day. Normally they call my job (we ALL bring our cars to him) he continues to argue with me and tell me I mustve opted out of his text alerts bc he was getting rejects from my number. Ive received texts in the past from them and never turned off the service and even if I did - if he was getting rejects on his end, why not pick up the phone and call me or leave a voicemail? I wouldve ran over on my lunch break!Anyway, after all was said and done he could care less that he left me stranded in an area I dont live in with no car, he could care less I had to call an uber, he didnt even do my husbands oil change, and he didnt even have the common courtesy to call me to tell me my car was ready (like they had did literally 3 days prior). From now on, Ill be using the mechanic across the way from this shop!

Dropped my car off here because it wouldnt start without jump and needed an inspection. Later in the day they called and told me I needed brakes both front and back. I agreed because I could feel the brakes were in bad shape. They said they couldnt find a reason for the car not starting and charged me for a diagnostic test. Two days later on a Sunday my car is stuck in a diner parking lot not starting.I would call them back for the tow and service except that they smashed me over the head on labor for the original bake job and I cant imagine what a more involved job would run me.Very frustrating.Update to 1 star. 9 months later brakes need to be redone bc the front end started to lock up and need to be redone. What a huge waste of money.

I came in during my lunch break to get my windshield wipers fixed. first of all they have the sweetest puppy that sits up front. Second of all I only had 45 minutes to get what I needed done. I offered to come back in case they needed more time, the very helpful lady at the front said it should be no time at all. They fixed my car so quick told me what was wrong and didnt overcharge me.My last experience w getting my car fixed somewhere else left me in tears. These are good, honest people and I will be getting my car fixed there from now on.

I went there for a minor repair the guy on counter says please come on Sunday. When I went back on Sunday there was a note we are closed on this Sunday. Next Saturday I went back early and he says oh we are busy please come back tomorrow on Sunday and when I went back a new guy told me oh we can not repair it you better take it to dealer. Seems like they do not care about Customer time and have no regards for that.
