This is the place to go if you are looking for games, comics, and cute stuffies. We came for comics and Manga, but left with a bag full of cute Squishables. Staff was really helpful and friendly. They have a massive area in the back for competitive gaming.

My daughter and her friends always find what they’re looking for here! They’ve got a HUGE selection of games and items.Even older people like me can find fun games for the family, because of their knowledgeable and helpful staff. They really take the time to ask insightful questions to understand what we’re looking for and give good feedback as to what we might enjoy and what they have to meet that particular need.Thank you kindly for great customer service and getting to know what I’m looking for even before I know what exactly I am looking for. *LOL*

Breadth and depth in their selection of game cards, and collectibles is very impressive. Who knows what cool one of a kind items you will find here. My son and I totally Geeked out! Their prices are higher than retail on current products but definitely a must see for any collector.

I was staying in Fort Worth and debated if any comic store would be worth the hour drive. Ive been dying for a place to grab some convention-style items since the start of covid. This place exceeds all expectations, and would be worth any drive. If you are a con-goer and want an excellent selection & staff, check this place out. The only problem now is that I have to drive back up to DFW to take my girlfriend!

Well I am just about to start playing D & D, but i needed to get the dices, so I was directed by someone at Half Price Books to check out Madness. My internerd came out when I walked into the store. That had a huge dice section and so much more. I do have to give a shout to Logan that works there because he was super helpful. The store is filled with items like comics, manga, pops, anime, games and etc. The even had life size figures of Batman and Wonderwoman which were also for sale. In the rear of the store there is a large area for table gamers.

Love the Madness! Good and knowledgeable staff. Only complaint is wish they had more sales than just the one sale around Thanksgiving.

This place is amazing. Its easily the best comic and game store Ive ever been to. It was a 45 minutes drive from home and it was worth every mile of the trip. Ill be bringing my son back soon to pick up even more comics!

Honestly one of the best atmospheres to be in for any comic book nerd. I love the staff because they are always so friendly and I can get lost in the store for a few hours just looking at all the books, toys and games they sell.

This place is amazing!!! I had never been in a comic book store this huge. Even my wife didnt want to leave, so not sure what else to say...lol they have literally anything geek that you could possibly think of. Lastly, they even have events like today, where Jim Cummings was there doing photo ops and autographs. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!

Been here many times, over a span of many years. Sure, you can typically find games cheaper on Amazon. Theres something to be said for being able to look at the box, compare it in person to other games, and being able to just buy it and take it home. Their selection of comics is pretty expansive, and all the assorted nerdy merchandise is great. The space set aside for tabletop in-person gaming is fantastic.

Fav spot back in the day for my kiddo.Recently visited and they have maintained their space and quality of products.They also redesigned it and now offers more. It is also carries products you would not find elsewhere.It is more expensive than other spots, but still enjoyable.The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Bought a tin, even before I bought it, it was wrapped differently, with just one big piece of plastic in the middle, I ended up getting it when I opened the tin the packs looked like they had been tampered with, like they had been resealed, I had a tin that I just bought from Walmart I compared the packs to it and looked nothing alike, I called them about it for a refund, told them I had not opened the packs but couldn’t get me refund, I had bought many tins and Pokemon boxes from them and I had never seen a tin package like that, very unhappy

Love coming here. Massive DnD selection. Prices are a little higher than other smaller board game shops but we still love supporting Madness Comics. The staff is always so helpful 🥰

In all seriousness...this place is awesome! If you come and your a fellow geek/nerd/dork for this kind of stuff, be ready to spend hours here. I was there over a hour and still didnt see everything! Plus there Funko Pop selection is the BIGGEST I have ever seen! They have many rares/exclusives and a bunch of common also.

Im a mom and have no clue about the game part of this but I do shop there for my kids and have always had good luck. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, the prices seem reasonable, and occasionally I find something fun for myself. When Im looking for a specific comic or Funko piece I usually check them out first. Thier comics selection isnt large at all but its organized.

It was good they had a good selection but they were missing almost all of the first three parts of almost every manga series. Other than tha. Amazing! 👍

What a great store. Ive worked in Plano for almost 10 years now and never been in till now. My 7 year old got into Pokemon and I couldnt find cards anywhere except here. For the most part everyone was super helpful for someone that wasnt too knowledgeable. Prices are a bit higher than other places (Target/Amazon), but I dont mind supporting this local business.

Great selection. They had manga I’ve been looking for but I’m taking my business elsewhere as it was filled with unmasked people, including the cashier. Manga and games aren’t work the risk

Madness is a fun place. The only thing is the prices are astronomically high. For example the game Carcassonne is around $40.00 in store while on Amazon you can get it for about $27.00. The stuffed animals are so cute and special but still unreasonably pricey. Thats okay, my husband and I still love walking around the store when we can, even though it reminds us of how poor we are! 😝

There is always sone great stuff at Madness. I love going here, from comic collections, to D&D books, to dice. Plus I could spend my next years paychecks on the Star Wars stuff they have.One of my favorite stores!

This place is amazing. I’ve been to the store three times over the years to purchase gifts and i have been absolutely amazed each time. This place has everything you could imagine. Comics, games, cards, dice, toys, clothing, accessories, figures, figurines, and pop culture gifts. The selection is fantastic. The shop is organized well which makes navigating the shop easy. In addition to the wide variety of inventory, there is an entire “gaming center” in the store with many tables set up for play. The shop hosts many events, the staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, and there is plenty of parking available. I have absolutely no idea what most of the stuff they carry is, or how to play the elaborate games that the customers play here, but walking in, looking around, and watching the customers play the elaborate games makes me want to learn.

So this was my first time there. I went in to get a 5E players handbook. I was rather impressed with their selection of board games, dice, comics, and miniatures. The safe was really friendly, we chatted about dice and they showed me a couple of really cool sets. Im sure I will be heading back for all the things.

Went here once with my buddy and asked to check out a Sun and Moon base set booster box. Asked the guy“Hey man you mind if I check that box out and take a look at it”Guy responded“No you may not… if you buy it you can though.”Why would I buy something without even being able to inspect it? That doesn’t even make sense and I’m honestly baffled at the reviews this place has.Never have I been to a card shop where someone doesn’t even let you hold an item before being able to purchase it.Good luck with your sales.

Absolutely my favorite gaming shop. We had several gaming shops where we came from, but this was like all of them put together! Im SO GRATEFUL we happened to come across this place. There was something there for the whole family. There were several helpful staff members around to help with questions, on each trip. This last visit, I wanted to pick up an item while I was in town. I was concerned my, hungry, tired, shopping burnt-out kids would grumble, but they were excited when I pulled up, and quickly spread out to their favorite sections, glad for even a brief visit.

Huge selection of just about anything game and collectable related. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for anything table top or board game related

Definitely over priced for the new Pokémon product! $100 for an ETB, at least charge $80 like the others 🙃 Other than that, the staff was nice and the store was beautiful. Won’t be back for Pokémon but maybe for other things.

I visit every week and spend about $300-$1000 sometimes even more. Everything is great. The staff if friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is I wish they had a point system or like a membership card with monthly discounts/coupons to help save a little.

The best LGS any gamer could hope for. Service is terrific and on point. Selection is fantastic. I recommend this place to all of my gamer friends.

Great selection of board games that are absolutely hysterical. their t-shirt game is on point. I literally find myself spending hours in here sometimes and spending a lot of money. Absolutely fun.

My family drives 45 minutes to come to Madness Games & Comics because theyre the best Local Gaming Store in North Texas. The inventory of Comics and Graphic Novels is immense, the board games are varied and eclectic, the dice selection is huge, there are more Funko Pop boxes than you can imagine, the geeky t-shirts are a nerds dream, and there are even open tables where you can play games with your playgroup. The customer service is excellent, and so are the prices. 5 out of 5 stars.

Huge store full of all the nerdy things you could need. The employees are knowledgable and friendly. I could walk around for hours in here (and I think I did.) The prices can be a little raised for some things though. I bought a card game for 25 bucks and realized later that the official retailer sells it for 20. Wasnt a big deal but just be aware of that.

A great game/comic shop that I never knew existed until I searched! This place is amazing with staff that is very friendly and helpful whenever you have a question. They have a large space where people actively play games and have tons of games/comics/toys for everyone. I definitely will go here again if I need to look for something.

Madness if its your first time is an experience on its own. They have much to offer in the areas of nerd culture. From miniature wargaming to comic books. Magic the gathering to collectibles and memorabilia, board games to action figures. Even if you dont find what your looking for just walk around the store and takin whats there because you will see something interesting not matter what

This place has a wide variety of board games, trading cards, action figures, toys, puzzles, comics and even manga! Sure you pay a little bit of premium on some things but youre supporting a great resource to the local community and they have rare stuff in store without having to wait for shipping! Besides that they have some great deals for budget friendly gaming! The Two player and up section was filled with wallet friendly games to play with your friends! Everyone that I have interacted with here was very knowledgeable and super friendly!!

Helpful staff and lots of variety in options for games. Prices are more on the high side, but its worth it to be able to get hands on before you buy.

So I really like this place. It looks like a very cool place for really cool posters, games, comic books and action figurines. There is even an area where you can play board games with a friend.The thing that I noticed but didnt necessarily care for is the fact that when I came into the store to look around as I was exploring the area I noticed that not only was I watched but I was followed through the store by young lady. It may have been just me but I did notice that I was the only person of color in the entire store. I also noticed that I seem to be the only person in the store who was asked if I could be helped. As I saw people come in the store and look around who were not of my color they just simply let them roam around. Perhaps they were regulars.Nonetheless, the store was quite cool to the point where I had my husband and son come over after their haircuts to check it out because we are into that kind of cool stuff. Maybe the next experience will be better and that young lady wont turn up at almost every corner I seem to have walked around pretending to be searching for something.

This will be the LAST book I purchase from Madness Games and Comics. I cant respect any shop that sells new books at open at spec prices. That is shady business. Collectors should be able to find them in the wild at cover price AT LEAST on day one. I know my opinion wont matter to them, since they will sell their product anyways... But shops with no integrity dont deserve my money. I guess I didnt shop here enough to see that they played this sketchy stuff to begin with.I even understand the gravity of this book. The demand. Which is EXACTLY why there is already a SECOND print coming. To extort the community like this is still a terrible practice.I only bought it here because I was already here and the weather is bad... and I have the baby.

Lovely store, employees were very good about walking the floor and asking questions/making recommendations. We asked one person about a game type and they werent sure (didnt play the genre much) and went to grab someone else.

Had such a great experience there today! Staff was super nice and helpful and the sheer amount of stuff in the store is the most Ive ever seen. Between comics, Manga, board games, funkos, RPGs, and paraphernalia for all these things, this store is an absolute treasure. Wish I lived in Texas and close to here, but Ill definitely be coming back every time Im close to here.

A fun place to go and get lost for a while. A warehouse full of board games of every kind. They also have a wide selection of comics and graphic novels. There is a smaller assortment of Warhammer miniatures, other tabletops (Star Wars), Legos, and other things. They also have quite a few tables setup for customers to come in and play with friends or make new ones.

One of my FAVORITE places to shop. Period. The staff is wonderful and helpful. I would spend all my time here if I could.

Most employees were masked but the ones that werent were very rude when it came to answering questions or finding products. The ones that cared about others and were wearing masks were happy to help.

As a game, collectable, comic, etc. store, this place is almost overwhelming. I could have spent another 2 hours browsing the selection. Ive never been to another store with such and amazing selection and staff.

My husband and I are from San Antonio. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping us find new games based on games that we currently enjoy. Selection is huge. I could spend hrs just looking at games here and still not see them all. Definitely worth a trip from SA

This seems to me to be the biggest Comic Book shop in the Dallas Fort Worth area. They have a ton of Funko Pop figures and I recommend signing up for the online newsletter, they notify you when they have cool guests coming to the shop.

First time visit.The location is huge and setup very nicely. There is s tournament or board play area to the right of the store. Had about 20 people playing. I walked around the store and looked at everything they had to offer. From comic books, to board games and game pieces. They have life size Comic Heroes cutouts and movie posters and props for sale on the walls.I will have to make a return visit with my grandkids for a more detailed visit. It is worth the time to stop by and see them.No business pic, a delivery truck blocked my view :/

I enjoy the the place and they offer a wide array of everything from board games to comics to collectibles. My only issue is that half the store is dedicated to MTG (which is great if you are that player and majority of your revenue stream is that), but why so much dedication to that? Still a good offering of fun items to look and purchase.

First time here.This is a big store with a huge selection of Merchandise. As the name implies they cater to Gamers and Collectors. Personally I could spend a fortune in here as well as a few hours just wandering around the store. Luckily for me I only needed a few paints and something to paint, yet I found a lot more.Overall they do have a great selection of Minis for D&D (a couple of aislesworth), though they were lacking in the GW Minis (they did have an aisle and half of GW merch). I know I missed a lot of miniatures in this area of the store, next visit.For collectors this is a place for you, Action Figures, Pops, and of course Comics. For the Funko collectors there is not only a few aisles but a couple of the walls are lined with them. Plus there are random ones throughout the store, based on their respective genre.I am a little biased when it comes to Gaming and only look for those Games I play, but other then D&D and WH40k merch I am pretty sure they have many RPGs and Mini games to choose from. In addition there are an abundance of Boardgames to choose from. There is also game tables at the back of the store for In-Store Gaming.All in All this is an Awesome store and definitely be revisited many many times.

Theyve cut down quite a bit on their comic book section recently which isnt a huge deal, i get it, but this review in particular is about their small glass case in front with overpriced Hot Toys. You purchase most of what they have from sideshow shipped free for a cheaper price. The MKV Iron man in particular is 1200.....which is nuts considering its still up for purchase o. The sideshow website for $360. Not sure who prices their things but theyre out of line.

Great games/comic shop! The store itself is quite a good size and they have a wide selection of products to choose from! The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable and will help you with any questions you might have. My only complaint would be that their stock is a little low with certain items but I can definitely look past that since they probably can’t keep as big of an inventory due to covid. If you are looking for any board games, table top games, card games, comics etc, I would highly recommend Madness Games and Comics!

One of the most amazing comic and hobby shops Ive ever seen. My girlfriend and I spent I think over an hour just browsing looking at all the different collectible paraphernalia and board games. Very friendly staff and an amazing selection of stuff!

I went in there looking for funko POP!s and comics, this store did not disappoint on that front, they had probably upwards of 750+ funko POP!SAnd they had tons of comics, the prices on the comics were reasonable (It was cover price, so pretty standard.) The Funko POP! Prices were a bit high though. Here are the prices:Common: 11.99Store exclusives: 14.99Convention exclusives: 24.99Movie moments: 35.00While some of the pops were overpriced, since they use this system, you’ll also find funkos that are worth more than they’re selling them for (ex: joker as Batman, suicide squad summer convention exclusive, worth: 50 price: 24.99.)All in all I would say I enjoyed this store, it had a very pleasant atmosphere full of knowledgeable staff, I would shop here again.

Really disappoints to make customers set out in the cold two minutes before opening. Not expecting to purchase anything till they officially open but this shows a complete lack of customer service. Never been treated like this when I plan on purchasing from a location. Both Logan and the general manager were extremely rude. Youre better off ordering online. Their excuse was that it wasnt their problem with a snide remark asking why i was even at the store(strange way to create customer loyalty). There are always consequences to bad customer service. The situation could have been easily defused. Just order online next time. Amazon is a better choice. or Miniature market.

A little out of the way for me but has the best selection of model paints and models Ive come across or anything else my nerdy heart could desire. Chill atmosphere

The selection, ambiance and service here is great and I could spend hours looking at everything and find all kinds of hidden gems. This place is fun to explore!Unfortunately their trading cards are overpriced, so bear that in mind when coming here for those, selling MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh! at a full dollar higher per booster compared to most places.

Great place for a huge selection of games and large collection of graphic novels. A large play area frequented by friendly and knowledgeable gamers. My only negative issues is the pricing on some stuff. They are pretty pricy for some gaming items. A huge amount of collectibles as well. Worth a visit!
