I’ve had the worst last two weeks dealing with totaling my car and stressing about having to go into another loan. Della Toyota was the first place I stopped to look at cars… and so happy I did!! Zack Miller helped me find just what I was looking for in just a few hours. Everyone was so awesome and Zack was happy to answer all of my “stupid” questions without making me feel like an inconvenience. Heather was great. She was a great representative to deal with. A little disappointed in the condition of the interior of the car when we really took time to look it over closely. We detailed it when we got it home. The only other issue was the air pressure in the tires was not even and a low tire pressure light came on. We since evened them out.

Having just finished up my first car-buying experience at a dealership, I have nothing but good things to say about Della Toyota in Plattsburgh and all of the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with. Okay, I’m just here to say that if you’re in the market for a Toyota and you’re looking for a salesperson who is professional and awesome you should request Jared Rabideau. Not only did he quickly find me a brand new vehicle during this shortage, but he also stayed on the phone for way too long with my insurance company who was experiencing technical difficulties just so that I could drive my 4Runner home that day. This was the easiest and most rewarding vehicle purchase I’ve ever made!

Poor communication or poor workmanship? Carried a 2020 Tundra for an undercoating on June 12, 2020. I fully inspected the work on June 16, 2020. I was told they would undercoat it for $646. including tax. I was also told they would remove the spare tire and plastic to spray the coating. As you can see from the photos the spare tire contained over spray but the bed beneath was not sprayed. Other photos show metal that was partially sprayed or not sprayed at all. This is unacceptable at any level for nearly $650. I contacted them through the their web site. I did speak with an individual concerning this. The only option was to have them respray the truck. I declined as this was not an option since they could not refund, even in part, for their error. They apparently only spray the frame and parts of the bed. At most, this is a $300-$400 value. I advise extreme caution to anyone wishing to use this service. I as a customer am extremely dissatisfied. RESPONSE: I dont recall all those offers from your company. You should double check on that. However, if you are sincere and wish to make this right you may send me the $450 it cost to have your work corrected. It was corrected 7 days after the incident by YIPES in Plattsburgh and before your post. I must say they did an EXCELLENT job coating the truck.

After having my third child, it was time to upgrade to a larger car. I knew I wanted a Toyota Sienna and Heather and everyone at D’ella was amazingly helpful. Especially for a first time car buyer! We were able to leave with exactly the car I wanted that same day. I am glad to know that is where I will be bringing my car for service in the future.

My experience was not good. I brought my car for a repair to my air conditioner three times and lost 4 days of not having a car. I have my 93 year old mom that lives with us and I could not use it for almost a month because it was too hot for her. All times was put off. It was not fixed when I picked it up. Just kept charging more and more to fix it. The last one my husband was so mad that he just requested the keys to leave. He also has a Toyota truck but now you have lost to people that will not go to trade there ever. Sorry there is so many workers that are so inexperienced in what they do. Since when do you charge someone almost $700.00 and not fix your car.

While on travel we called ahead to get an oil change and tire rotation on our new 2021 Sienna at the 5k mark which we agreed to pay for (Toyota say it was not due yet, but call me old fashion, new engines always have shavings from them mfg process), I also did this with my Tacoma.The service tech on the phone said ok, booked appointment oil change and tire rotation, no problem. We drove an hour 1 way to get to the dealer, when we arrived the tech at check-in flat out refused to do the oil change complaining the oil was expensive and it wasnt needed, even after we told him we were paying for it anyways.The tire rotation took over 2 HOURS!!! I can change 4 tires by hand with a jack and a tire iron in 30 minutes, so I cant imagine what the hell they were doing for 2 hours, maybe testing the TV in the back? Not to mention I could have got a tire rotation done at the local tire shop 5 minutes down the street.When we finally got the vehicle back there was sticky crud all over the arm rest! Honestly you guys owe me a detail.I have read other positive reviews and was shocked at the combativeness and down right sloppy service I received here. It is not up to Toyota standards and I will not bringing my vehicle back again.

Dealing with Heather G at Della Toyota was great. I told her up front that I was in no hurry to buy a truck, and she understood that. She didnt pressure me, she called a couple times at first then checked in once a week or so. In the end she was able to set me up with a 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5, with all the options that I was looking for at a great price. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

Had a strange experience at Della Toyota yesterday. Went in hoping to test drive and price out a new RAV4. They only had two on the lot, both of which were higher trim levels than what I was looking for. We discussed with the sales associate and he mentioned he may have a lower trim level available in a few weeks or months but we could test drive the one on the lot today and see if I liked it. After test driving, I asked if we would be able to see numbers on both leasing and financing on both the lower trim level and the trim level we test drove. He asked if I was serious about buying the vehicle we test drove and I said I was unsure, I wanted to know all my options. He then stated that his general manager likes to know if people are serious and one way to let him know I was serious would be to put down a $100 refundable deposit on the rav we test drove. I said I did not want to do this as I wasn’t positive it was the car I intended on buying and I didn’t have the numbers yet. I then stated that I really did not want to feel pressured into making a decision or purchase. The sales associate then stated he would go talk to the manager. A few minutes later he walked back and said he had my email and phone number and would send me the numbers sometime later today. I asked how long it might take and he stated it would likely be within an hour. I left without pricing information and did not hear from anyone the rest of the day. This morning I received a generalized email that appeared automated without any pricing information. I’m unsure if it was because they thought I was not serious about purchasing a vehicle but I always like to weigh different options when car shopping and dislike feeling pressured. I was disappointed to leave without the information I was hoping for.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, a few days.When I arrived I did not have to tell them my name, they knew. I made a request for additional work and the technician was though to let me know he may not have all the parts, and the cost of the additional work. He reviewed with me the options of what he could do if he did not have all the parts. We agreed on a plan. I did not wait long in the spacious waiting room. When the technician came to get me he completely explained what he was able to do for my additional work, the cost and all the multipoint inspection results. I felt very comfortable, and understood exactly what condition my car was in. I appreciated their professional care of both me and my vehicle.

First time buyer with Della Toyota Plattsburgh. They have an amazing and professional staff. Straight forward, honest, friendly and by far the best experience with everyone I met there. Chris S showed me around listened to my needs and helped me pick what my family and I needed. Then was taken to Jesse in the garage to schedule an appointment based on my driving needs. Mitchell was next in finance. He explained everything perfectly and helped me get the options that suited my family best. All in all the staff is amazing the building was immaculate and we felt comfortable every step of the way!

I dislike visiting dealerships and I also dislike buying cars. Our first experience with Della was very poor (different dealership than Toyota) but we gave Della Toyota a chance due to the type of vehicle we wanted. We were helped by Heather and she was fantastic. She was very helpful and very attentive to our needs in a vehicle. She helped us narrow down a vehicle and then was very flexible with our hectic schedule in getting a test drive done as well as other in-house operations we needed to show up for. When it came time to purchase they even were able to squeeze us in on short notice and have me out of the dealership all within my lunch break. This is what the car buying experience should be like. Very well done, Heather. I would also be remiss if I didnt mention Mitch as well - he helped expedite the process in our tight window and helped me get everything signed and set in what felt like record pace as well as being extremely personable, understanding and helpful. Delivered my car to Plattsburgh for my convenience and was accommodating. I had a longer wait time due to paperwork malfunction and compensated with a full tank of fuel for the hassle plus two free oil changes/tire rotation. I am an elderly man with medical issues and I had been searching for a suitable used truck. I have often purchased older used trucks and I am experienced in maintaining older vehicles. My search was hampered by the lack trucks and the high prices for those that met my needs.One afternoon I met Heather Garrow at Della Toyota and I explained what I was looking for. She called me later and informed me about this 2014 Nissan Frontier that might interest me. The mileage seemed a bit high but the condition was excellent. Further research showed that similar trucks with three times the mileage were selling for similar amounts.When I decided to buy this Nissan, the sales service respected my needs and gave an excellent account of the condition and value of my purchase. The car fax and test drive made me feel secure in my choice. The best part came from the respect I was shown.The truck is proving to be exactly as presented and I am very pleased.
