Its wonderful to go into a store with intentions of buying you daughter a new $1,100 iPhone for a present only to be completely ignored by both associates working. It really made me feel valued as a customer to be so well taken care of. Left empty handed after waiting around 20 minutes in an empty store. Save yourself the hassle and order online!
Once again the management at the plattsburgh prime communications att location just doesnt get it. Theyve already been reported once for making unauthorized changes to our account. And yet they just did it again yesterday. This is in clear violation of federal law and I will be reporting this to the proper authorities. Eventually a lesson needs to be learned here. These people should not be allowed to go around doing whatever they wish with peoples plans and private info.

Was on the fence about changing to an iphone after being an android customer for as long as I can remember. After my experience at the plattsburgh AT&T store on Smithfield blvd with their manager Danielle I have no doubt I made a good choice with the switch. Her product knowledge and service was way above and beyond. She made the experience enjoyable, also giving a great atmosphere to the store. Arrived with an older phone that worked but my wife and I wanted to switch plans because of how badly the AT&T store screwed up in Berlin VT. We were repeatedly told by the folks in Berlin Vermont that we could not get out of our plan without cancelling everything. We decided to buy two new phones because we were told that they would be $700 in trade in value each. 3 hours later, the new line was set up, I paid the taxes and fees, and my daughter and I went to lunch so the lady could take care of my wifes stuff as well. My wife joined us and said that the trade in was now $350 and that she paid it to avoid coming back. I went back to the store to ask why, and the lady said it was due to the screen being cracked - after I had paid, and after I had already been using it in front of everyone for more than three hours at that point. She never actually bothered to check, nor had she told me that the rebate depended on the condition of the phone. I have had such lousy experiences with AT&T over the years, I figured fine. I will eat the cost, lets have the two of us just make sure the phone is set up, and she can make sure the old line is disconnected. I gave the AT+T Rep. my phone, and said I want to make sure it functions normally, and the old line was disconnected before I left. The two of us called AT+T tech support and they told me that the old line was disconnected. I then asked to make sure the new phone was set up, and would function normally. The AT&T Rep then told me it wasnt possible because everything had to be verified through the old phone number. Nearly 24 hours later, I still do not have a working phone.I would recommend avoiding AT+T like the plague. I switched because we had absolutely terrible service with Verizons call centers. I did not think it would be possible to spend 3 1/2 hours with someone, pay, leave and find out the price was different afterwards. I did not think it was possible to spend over 4 hours at a AT+T store and leave without a phone that works. I have had outright terrible experiences at the AT+T stores in Plattsburgh NY, Berlin VT and a very mediocre one in Montpelier VT. If I could redo my entire day, I would in an instant. Go with anyone else.

As a former employee this is the Worst place to work/GO in the aspect of work is your life an if you like doing shaddy unprofessional things too customers this is your job. I worked a little over 3 months here an apparently if you leave you forfeit your commission so they stole little under $500 from me(they never tell you about if you quit youll loose commission). At the end of it all they put add-ons onto your account without telling you an force people to get a new number of a promotion LIES! WORST PLACE TOO GET A PHONE.

The Plattsburgh AT&T store is whats wrong with mobile providers in the United States.I come in on a Thursday to get my mobile watch service transferred to a new device. A smarmy rep immediately tries to get me to add every AT&T package under the sun. Clearly not what I asked for, so no. After ten minutes of fiddling through settings, he asks me for my PIN, which--shame on me--I cant remember (though he incorrectly said it was 4 to 6 digits, when it really is between 5 and 7, which would have tipped me off to what it was). He cant change my PIN because the store is no longer a corporate store, neutering them of the power to do basically anything except shill products.After twenty minutes on the phone with four(!) different overseas reps (not the stores fault, but indicative of AT&Ts lack of customer service), I finally get the PIN changed. Then, I wait for fifteen more minutes for help. No one is available. After forty-five minutes of getting absolutely nothing done on what should be a simple switch, I leave. (Notably, I go to Verizon and get what I needed to get done in fifteen minutes.)Today, I come back to cancel my account. Again, they cant help because theyre not a corporate store. (Again, I call AT&T customer service, and it takes a half-hour for someone to tell me their automated system sent me to the wrong place and an hour for someone to tell me that no one can help me.)Verizon might not be perfect, but the Plattsburgh Verizon store is leagues better than the Plattsburgh AT&T store.

Theres very poor signals all throughout the Plattsburgh area.Good luck trying to cancel your plan and get your money back. I cancelled within 3 days and Im out over $500. No one can tell me when or if Ill ever see a refund. They just say that The System has to make that determination and no one can no what The System will decide. All they know is it will take at least 30 days for The System to decide.The customer service is a joke. I have spent over 8 hours the past week on the phone trying to get this all resolved. If you call them, youll be transferred a half dozen times and will be on the phone for close to 2 hours each time.
MJ was amazing!! Some of the best service I’ve ever received. She was unbelievably patient and helpful. She explained everything very clearly and answered all of my questions. The time she spent going over everything with me was phenomenal. She answered my call earlier in the day and then hours later knew exactly who I was only seconds after I got to the store. MJ took the time to help me find the right phone I needed, and then took a ton of time to help me pick out the proper cases. She offered to put the screen protector on and truly took the care and time to make sure I had everything put together properly. She was friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. I highly recommend!
Despite the circumstances with the latest pandemic this was a very enjoyable experience and well thought out. The curbside customer service with masks was done very well and I felt like my health was being put first by the employees. Give them a raise!

I have literally called there 9 times today and no one has answered the phone, it keeps saying they are allllll busy. I called Verizon to ask them about their offers and they answered the phone right away and were very helpful. Contract is up with AT&T, guess I know where I am going.

Went in person 3 days ago. Was told they couldn’t have what I wanted shipped to their store, even though they had one on display. Said they would find another store that had one to send to them and that they would let me know the next day either way if they could get one or not. Still haven’t heard a word. Tried calling the store today to find out the status and could not get through for 45 minutes. Gave up and decided against dealing with them. Went on Amazon and paid $80 for what I was going to pay them $199 plus tax for; guess I should thank them.
