Always a nice little spot to get a coffee made a million different ways. Sometimes they have live music, art on the walls or you can even sit outside and watch the life of downtown pass you by. I would always recommend getting one of the best coffees youve ever had from this wonderful and cozy little coffee shops!!

Great place. There coffee and Lattes are some of the best around town. The Pastries are exceptional and the prices are reasonable. The Staff is always friendly and will answer any questions you may have about any of there menu items. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. There is some awesome art work hanging on the walls for sale. Which are mostly done by local artists. They have homemade Jewlery for sale as well. Definitely would say this is a great place to get together with a friend and sit and enjoy yourselves while you catch up. They have indoor and outdoor seating so if its a nice cool day you can enjoy the nice weather along with all of there delicious items. Hey you never know you may also meet a great future friend here. Its been known to happen very often. The people that usually go here are friendly and down to earth. I would def recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious mocha and place ambientation!

We went based on the decent reviews, but either there has been a drastic change to the place or we were EXTREMELY unlucky. On a nice warm day - there was barely enough ice for my iced coffee. Then we order an iced latte and instead of saying that was the last of the ice we got a warm, nasty drink. Had to try again the next day when the GOOD coffee place down the road was closed. We went with hot drinks this time and we immediately threw out our drinks after tasting them.

Loved everything about this place! My coffee was great, the barista was super friendly and they had art hanging on the walls that was all for sale! I even purchased a piece. As a crazy cat lady, the decor and painted cats made me so happy. I will definitely be back.

Lack of light roast coffee options so I dont go here much except for hot chocolate when going to spend time in the awesome used bookstore nextdoor. Offer more light roast coffee nasty dark and medium coffee is not what people with taste want. Oh wait its plattsburgh new york so there is no one else around with actual good taste..... That explains a lot.

Classic comfy coffee shop atmosphere, a perfect space for quiet laptop work and catching up on emails. Staff is friendly and preps everything in a timely fashion. I ordered the white hot chocolate - it was so good! Important note: this place is cash only, but theres an ATM in the shop and a TD Bank/ATM nearby as well.

Not to happy, everytime over tried to come here they are closed. I try to make it before work. The posted hours are nowhere near correct. And if anything Ive only waisted my gas the 4-5 trips Ive made to this cafe. In my opinion. 6pm is way to early to be closed.

It was the first time that I stepped in to this coffee shop and I got an automatic very soothing vibe from stepping in. My coffee blend caramel was a delight to my mouth and I thank the Brewer for it. But I mostly think a very special friend of mine for taking me out for a cup of coffee that I feel wont be my last. The place is really nice in my perspective and probably not for the likes of many but for the small town of Plattsburgh it is a nice place to chill kick back and from what I heard of having live music I cant wait to enjoy one night to hear the music playing. I will be back to try other flavors great job guys.

Stopped in first time this morning. My drink lacked any flavor and was not the blended ice drink I thought it would be. More like milk with a little blended ice thrown in. By the time I was done drinking it I had to stop in to a restroom due to being sick from it. It was gross and the place is cash only too. Who doesnt take cards at a place like this anymore? Definitely wont be back and wouldnt recommend to others.

Usually the drinks are good! Ive noticed that the drinks (the smoothies and the frozen coffee) are lacking a lot of flavor. definitely would not recommend the lemon cream smoothie... lemon flavoring, half & half or milk, with ice blended??? it tasted like curdled milk! ( I remember years ago it was actually good and had that lemon flavor) I would suggest using lemon juice, milk, yogurt, sugar/honey. The frozen coffees are lacking flavor too! I got the frozen turtle... which I would suggest 8oz espresso, 8oz milk, 8oz ice, w. chocolate and caramel sauce and blend it until smooth (not chunky)... Ive had other frozen coffee drinks too... those are also lacking a lot of flavor...which is sad! not like how it was years ago... but paying $5 something I would expect more than just subpar drinks or curdled milk w. a small hint of lemon flavor (which was thrown out) we did end up ordering a strawberry and cream smoothie... again lacking much flavor but was better than the lemon.

Im not normally a White chocolate person, but I wanted to try it. And Im glad i did. They add a bit of cinnamon on too with caramel and chocolate syrup. And the taste is amazing. Will definately be trying other things on the menu too.

Great coffee in a quirky environment. Owner Patty explains options if you ask, and whips up a nice piping hot java. If youre looking for Starbucks over roasted coffee & decor, this isnt the place for you. But if quality coffee is your aim, give this place a try!

A great place with more unique coffee and tea drinks than you usually find in cafes these days. Our barista was very friendly, offered recommendations, and made an awe-inspiring french toast latte. As this place is up north, it does incorporate maple syrup into its coffee drinks, so if you are a fan of that - youll be in happy company. We grabbed drinks to go but there was ample seating.

Good frozen coffee

The atmosphere of this place is so great. Fits perfectly in with the town of Plattsburgh. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is super courteous and polite and the coffee is fantastic. If youre wandering around downtown I definitely recommend stopping in here for a quick break.

This cafe has been more than just a cafe for as long as I can remember. Its a social gathering hub and venue for so much more. It represents the culture in downtown Plattsburgh.

After finding the bagel pit closed as usual and in a pinch for breakfast, I went down to coffee Kat and completely gorged myself on like 5 different sweets, including a whopping slice of apple pie, for like 6 bucks, a complete steal. If only they had bagels...

I like the atmosphere for the most part, though sometimes the music is too loud. The staff are friendly, especially Jay. Personally I dont like their coffee, its too bitter for my taste, but I do like their tea and pastries. Sometimes I wish they had some snacks other than pastries, but thats okay. They have slightly high prices but nothing outrageous, and they have a loyalty reward card where you get a free drink after buying ten. Theres free wifi. They display local artwork, though as an artist I dont like that you have to pay just to display your stuff. They also have concerts and shows regularly. I like that they allow well-behaved dogs. Theres a down-to-earth community feel to the place, and its a genuine local small business which I always try to support.Summary: Id like it better if the coffee were fresher-tasting and the music softer, but its a nice place to hang out once in a while.

The staff at koffee Kat have always been very pleasant and friendly. Its a quiet comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a coffee & Danish while working on your computer or just reading a book. I may not get there as often as Id like, but most certainly will keep returning.

I have been buying coffee, teas, and blended drinks here for 14 years. There are delicious deserts to choose from, as well. Local artists display works for sale in the lounge. The Kkat is a funky bohemian spot in Platts-Vegas.

Excellent beverages! I do need to try the carrot cake, as it looks incredible.Service is very good. The barista makes one beverage at a time and it is perfect every time. If you have a large group, it will take a bit to get everyone served but the wait is worth it.Cool atmosphere and various items from local crafters are available for purchase.

Gave Koffee Kat three tries.Each time their hot coffee had been sitting too long and was not warm any longer.Not one to give bad reviews but definetly not up to spec.Will give it another shot in the future to see if service has improved.

I came here today and the drinks were good my complaint is with the owner and her racism. I was sitting on the couch minding my own business and over near the counter two guys were drinking their coffee discussing politics. I couldn’t even hear what they were saying but apparently it was enough to get the owner mad and she starts yelling at them saying that she doesn’t wanna hear that kind of talk. Then they said something and her reply was “Oh please, you’re a white male, give me a break”. I was appalled and she was yelling at them saying they were upsetting her customers but the only person I could hear talking was her. Needless to say I was very offended and so was my mother. You own a business, you can’t say stuff like that! And trying to tell your customers they can’t talk about politics because they don’t share your same views is abhorrent.

Coffee at its best, I moved to Plattsburgh about six months ago and became a regular at the Koffee Katt almost immediately after my first visit. Great Coffee, Great Service, Great Atmosphere.

We used to go here often for coffee and dessert and loved it. Visited today and were were mortified. They only had two desserts to choose from both were store bought. We watched a drug deal involving the barista go down. Then we sat and ate or over priced Walmart dessert in a swarm of fruit flies as the barista went and took a nap on the couch.

Profoundly rude service. Classic snarky college barista. I went in for a bottled iced tea and was digging in my change to give her a dollar tip when she said, nice one and went and hid behind the espresso machine. After I gave her a dollar bill instead and asked her what she had said, her attitude was much more pleasant. If you dont want to interact with people except on a mercenary standard, dont.

I have been here a few times and always been impressed with the drinks. I particularly like the Chai tea latte. For the non-coffee folks they have smoothies, tea and milk shakes. The staff are super friendly andalways go above and beyond for you. They have local artists work displayed and local hand made goods such as soap and candles. They also have food from local bakeries. This is a great place to go if you enjoy a nice beverage and want to support your local community.
