Dario is Very professionally kind to simeone not phone tech savvy. His patience made a Big Positive Difference.give him a raise next performance review
Went to look at the new fold phones, did a quick speedtest.net comparison from my t- mobile vs a Verizon phone and blew that phone out of the water.
Absolutely awful experience here. We came on a Monday morning and it was moderately busy. About four people were already waiting when we came in. NO employee greeted us or asked us to check in. About 15 minutes of waiting while employees actively ignored us we left. DO NOT COME HERE!
Real bad experienceThey didnt solve my problemThey keep telling me that I have to call another number
We went to the Verizon here at Pleasant Hill, CA. Weve been customers for many years. I feel they are Covid complacent. Got greeted at the door by, Do you have an appt?! If not, you can have 15 min. to talk to so and so! He was helpful, but we were told at the store its basically set up to help customers get phones, etc. Weve never seen this! We ended up going to Best Buy, and asking the Geek Squad for help. Weve ALWAYS gotten great, helpful service at Verizon. We wont go back to this store. Thanks!
This review is only about the Pleasant Hill store. I use Verizon for my cell service and for the most part have no complaints about their product.Scheduled a 4pm appointment online to order the Samsung 9s as well as discuss plan changes. Arrived about 5 minutes early and was asked for my name and my appointment time then asked to take a seat. The store was entirely empty save one person at the counter and two people who were practically asleep against the far wall and who had clearly been waiting awhile. There were three female employees having a conversation behind the counter, one woman helping the single customer, and one man who appeared to be busy but didnt have a client. This entire picture was then frozen for approximately 20 minutes. No one else was helped and no new customers arrived. In fact the employees barely moved. We all just sat there with nothing happening. It was absurd and so striking with the staff doing nothing that I took pictures of the empty store. My appointment time of 4pm was a joke. It was totally ignored. This isnt my first complaint about the Pleasant Hill store but it is certainly my last. Ive had problems with them before but this was ridiculous. No one in that store gave the slightest indication they were going to help either me or the other two people asleep against the wall in anything less than an hour or two.
This is quite possibly the worst Verizon experience I’ve ever had. I met with the solutions manager and “customer service” representative. The customer service representative informed me when I went to pick up my phone that the manager would have to fill out a promo escalation form and that she would call me to come back when he was in. She called me and I drove 15 min back to the store with the assumption they were going to be able to do their job.The solutions manager met me at the door, was confrontational from the beginning, and had absolutely no interpersonal skills; I have no idea how he is in that position. Verizon customer service instructed me to go into the store for them to apply a promotion on the order. He didn’t even try to help but instead responded “AND I’m telling you that you need to call them.” This is the type of experience that loses loyal customers of over 20 years. He was the rudest, disengaged employee I’ve ever dealt with.
Went in today for a shipping label I have lost. Waited over 30 min for a simple task that can be easily done in 5 min. They guy who was checking people in at the store was very rude and went on to help customers that came to the store way after me when he could have helped me with what I needed. It’s unprofessional to me when I waited so long but people came after me was helped first.
Very poor service. Waited for 40 min and people who arrived after me were serviced one after the other.
The sales lady(Christina) was great, she answered all our questions. Great Customer Service
I would say Worse customer service EVER but I received no customer service. Phone died on 6/23. Went to Verizon store in GA and they replaced the sim card. 2 days later when Im in Mexico phone stopped working again. Upon return went to the Pleasant Hill, CA store and was greeted by the manager, Eli. I told him the situation and he said the wait is 1 hour. I waited with my 29 year old daughter. After 1 hour 15 minutes a spanish speaking representative called our name. She looked up my account on her computer and told me account was suspended because you exchanged you sim card in Mexico. I told her that was not true and gave her the address and phone# where the sim card was replaced. She told me she couldnt help me because the fraud department was closed. I told her I would then need a loaner phone (she refused and called over the manager). Manager told me the exact same thing....fraud and customer service departments are closed. Nothing else we can do for you. They both walked off and started helping other people. Meanwhile, my daughter has the fraud department on the phone (theyre open - WOW). Within 30 minutes my phone was reactived and then I was transferred directly to a customer support representative (they were open too - imagine that). Support was able to reinstate my insurance that had been accidently removed when I added my daughter to the account. The manager here is Eli. He and the spanish speaking woman are lazy and worthless. Do NOT use this store. Go to Walnut Creek, CA. Ive contacted upper management at Verizon requesting these people be fired or at the very least demoted with a letter placed in their personnel folders. I also requested a written apology from both Eli and the spanish speaking representative. WORST NON SERVICE EVER
Had an appointment to come back to verizon. The store is closed with zero explanation on the door. No call or tex saying appointment canceled. Numerous people came and left witb same issue. Crazy guess just stay with at&t after wasting my time to come over here.
Scheduled an appointment, it was confirmed, arrived 5 minutes early and the store was closed. Arrived at the first store, two males standing there, alone, said they were booked for the day. Have been a Verizon customer for many years, very disappointed! Requested a call back and NEVER received one!
They are going by appointment right now. I tried to call but no one answered so I just drove down. I didnt have appointment but there was a cancellation and they got me in. I thought jetpack and phone service would be great addition to my RV life....but was told not the case:(Bummed...back to research.
Really bad experience... we got there around 12 today, a lady came out saying that wed need to make an appointment because the situation of covid-19 (understandable) we agreed so she told us our appointment was scheduled at 1:30 pm (my husbandand I listened same hour). We were hanging out around and went back there at 1:20pm and another guy came out saying that our appointment was a 1:15 pm and that they were only 2 people attending and if we wanted to hang out (even more) they could try to give us attention.. like really??!! We were only trying to get new lines as new costumers.. total waste of time!! Sooo disappointed!!
Very knowledgeable staff. They were able to help me quickly, find what problem I was having with my phone and correct it!
Stopped by this morning and was waited on promptly and the problem solved within 10 min. Very courteous staff and covid regulations carried out.
Always pleasant and easy to work with!
Poor and slow customer service alot of confusion
Simply great with awesome signals anywhere in U.S
Bad sloppy customer service. Finding excuses not to assist and asking for online appointment when the store is empty.
Made an appointment for my parents. No ones even here. The door is locked, and the shutters are down.We even got a reminder for the appointment. No alert that they were going to be closed. No sign on the door explaining why they didnt open today either. Pretty unprofessional.Best guess is maybe the store worker didnt show up or had an emergency last minute. Hope theyre not sick.
Excellent service great advice
Superb service. Friendly greetings, professional services n agent was keen to solve my issues
I just needed a simple phone and your representative Mina helped me obtain one in a very short amount of time. She explained all of my options regarding the best phone and the best plan for my needs. She was great - personable, knowledgeable and very efficient. Couldnt have had a better experience.
The man that helped my was very informative .
My dad is stuck there. It took him 6 hours to get my phone. Instead we went to Costco. He saw the phone cost and ran away. Thanks verizon very cool.
Supper helpful awsome! And fast.
I got the best service from this store and the employee Dario is the best! He Knew all the answers to my questions and he is so friendly and funny! He even walked us o the door and held the door for us when we left! Thumbs up for this store and 5 star for Dario!
Great team! Great customer service.
Signed up for a prepaid Verizon plan. Purpose: try it out to see if service is any better than tmobile in my area. First, one sales person in Pleasant Hill, CA, presented me with a $70 plan and told me that the plan only covered limited data. Then I called Verizon - phone system designed to discourage live person contact - I was told that a $50 plan would give me access to unlimited data. Got signed up. Used the service for the duration of the contract and found it to be not much better than tmobile. Called Verizon to have my number ported back to tmobile. Was told that my plan had ended and I needed to reactivate the account in order to port out. So, another $50 down the pipe to be able port out. I called Verizon again with much difficulty hoping to find another agent for help. This time I was told that I could pay $30 to reactivate. Prior to this called the sales center in Pleasant Hill and was told that they could not help me. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The person answering the phone said he was the floor manager. I asked to speak to his boss. Someone else came on and told me because he was not involved in signing me up and that he wasn’t sure about the verbal exchange that had taken place between me and the sales agent at the time of singing he could not help me. He suggested I call Verizon corporate customer service and see if they would grant me a 24 hour grace period. Called back and was sent into their automated system not able to connect with a live agent. Gave up!
The staff in Pleasant Hill are unprofessional and unfriendly. They just want to get you out of there. I have had great experience in Walnut Creek location. They are more customer oriented. The reason we went to Pleasant Hill was that they had available appointments. No wonder why. Their attitude towards customers are disappointing.
Im giving them a five star rating because they were able to fix their pay kiosk in only a few minutes. Not to mention friendly and fast customer service.
Went in to the downtown Pleasant Hill location to switch from Sprint to Verizon and waited an hour to be helped. Eventually somebody came to talk to me, listened to my request, then told me their tablet wasn’t working and disappeared to the back room for another 30 minutes. When she came back, she told me she couldn’t help me anyway because Sprint locks their phones. Why didn’t she just tell me that from the beginning? Also there was no excuse for her to not come out from the back room earlier and update me or let me know she hadn’t forgotten about me. The entire 90 minutes I was there, NOBODY moved. All employees talked to the same people the whole time. What were they doing? Why was the store playing music like it was some night club and yet several people were sleeping in chairs throughout the place?Beware: time stands still in this god forsaken place. Get what you need from online customer service, this place is weird and inefficient.
This was in the early afternoon when I went. Around 11 am or so.was pretty dead just employees sitting around playing on their phones. Gotta say though for as dead as the store was, the employees were rude and standoffish. Didnt want to help me for some unknown reason. I asked questions and they would just shy away from me. AND THIS IS A CORPORATE STORE LOL. never will I go there for any kind of help or business. Id rather drive the extra 30 min t ok the next closest Corp store.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Dario helped me very well. Thanks again. Kristina is the best manager I have ever seen
Staff is NOT helpful. Rude and not interested in being friendly or hovering good customer service.
Ive been there twice this week and never had to wait in line which has changed from a year or 2 ago when there was always a line. My problem was fixed fast with all needed Info given!!!!
Terrible service. This people dont care about safety no mask, no protectiontion.Schedule says they open, before you step in to their threshold they coming out with no mask and yelling at your face that they are closed. Thanks God I had a mask.
Salesperson Chris was very helpful with my purchase today. Made my day because believe me the experience I had at Verizon up the road was NOT good what so ever. Id definitely visit this store again in the future.
What a pleasant surprise! (Last time my husband and I were at this Verizon store with a smartphone problem, it had been a horrible experience. We visited twice over a weeks time, both times the random employees seemed negative and unknowledgeable. They treated us like we were an inconvenience. Nothing was done to resolve the issue with our new Google Pixel XL. --Very, very poor customer service, not deserving of even 1 star! We couldnt wait to switch carriers. Thankfully, when we called Google directly, they promptly replaced their new, defective device.) HOWEVER, todays visit went exceedingly well, thanks to a most helpful, knowledgeable employee named Doria. He listened carefully to our two different smartphone problems, clearly explained our options, made good suggestions, was patient, and gave us plenty of time to decide what our plan of action would be for each one. Later this same day, we returned. He wasnt on the floor, but the other employees promptly reached out to us, were upbeat, and went to the back to get Doria. This particular Verizon store appears to have turned it around... All of todays employees provided excellent customer service!
Looks nice after the remodeling - same good level of service!
The rep took great care with me and setting up my account.
Had a great experience at Verizon today! The employees were very pleasant, friendly and helpful! I will go back again!
Waited almost an hour just to be taken off the wait list for standing outside. Misinformed on key information during plan setup and was treated poorly. I wouldnt recommend this place just because its difficult to find and I wish anyone who does make the venture a better experience
Stood In line for an hour with 8 other customers store never opened headquarters did not know ANYTHING!!
I had several issues with my phone and Vanessa was there to help. My wait time was 5 secs. Perfect!Vanessa listened to all my phone issues patiently and resolved one of the problems. Unfortunately, the other problems could not be resolved and I am now waiting for a new phone. Thanks Vanessa for trying and great customer care!
My experience with this particular Verizon store was wonderful! The workers were willing to help in whatever way possible and went above and beyond to help me with my phone issues. Sebastian, Sean, and Krystin were the amazing workers who were able to facilitate my switching to Verizon, I would recommend this store to whoever is having issues with their Verizon phone.
Very helpful. In and out in just a couple minutes.
I feel like every time I go in to this store I wind up frustrated. Its not because of their product - truth be told, aside from being checked-in Ive never even gotten to the point where I could talk to a person about a new phone, or my plan. I dont mind waiting; I can keep myself busy. I do mind waiting when employees are standing around talking to each other, checking their phones, or staring off in to space.I like the mobile service Verizon provides, but not the customer service provided in-store. Ill buy my next phone from Best Buy, or perhaps a small business. Id suggest the same for those interested in Verizon and good customer service. Rather, any service.
They were pretty busy but had an efficient way to keep people informed and were very courteous. Upgraded to a new phone
The staff is very pleasant and patient. No matter how many times I need help they are always helpful. I always learn something new about my phone.
The support staff here acts like they would rather be anywhere else and doing anything other than resolving issues. They act like they cant wait until you leave. The sales staff is very obviously on commission or incentivised to sell expensive add-ons. One of my least favorite business establishments in the area.
Charles be killn dat knowledge game son!
I waited 50 min and then had to ask for assistance for tech support and was told OH WE DID NOT KNOW YOU STILL NEEDED ASSISTANCE. I always get excellent customer service from this Verizon store
Told there was a 20-25 minute wait. Breen here over an hour now and still no service. Ive watched other people walk in after me, get helped and leave and still nothing. There are only about 6 other customers in the store at any one time, not exactly slammed but still nothing. Not the first time here either. Service has alwaus been mediocre at bestDont come hereTake your hard earned money elsewhereSeriouslyRun
They helped me with my screen protector, memory card and case
On August 15, 2018 in the morning we went to the Verizon Corporate store located at 20 Crescent Drive, Ste. 5-d in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. The purpose of our visit was to find a solution to the IPhone 6 plus which was cutting in and out during phone calls.Palwasha Ali determined the IPhone 6 plus could not be repaired and we would need to change phones. My GF repeatedly expressed her concern over her photos as the most important part of her phone. Palwasha assured us that all the information would be uploaded into the ICloud. Relying on Palwasha’s experience and confidence it seemed she knew exactly what she was doing. My GF and I agreed to upgrade her phone to the new IPhone X.Palwasha started downloading the information into the IPhone X. As the phone was downloading the information from the ICloud, Palwasha wanted us to delete all the information from the old IPhone 6 Plus. Palwasha assured us everything is fine. Palwasha began pulling up screen after screen on the old IPhone 6 Plus and asked Carrie to push the button which would delete all the photos. Carrie never had a chance to read the screens because Palwasha was so fast with those screens. Carrie had to personally push the button. Palwasha pulled up at least three screens requiring Carrie to press delete.Palwasha advised us to go home immediately and connect the IPhone X to our network and physically place the phone as close as possible to the router which we did. At that point I looked at the photo library and it was empty. The 500+ photos were missing as well. Then began the process of calling both the Verizon store and Apple support to find out what’s going on and where are the pictures. I returned to the store in the late afternoon and spoke with the manager John Basile. John insisted this was not a Verizon issue, but an Apple issue. John provided his business card. I called John later than night concerned about the absence of pictures. John assured me that 17GB can take some time about 1GB per hour to download and that I need to give it some time. He also said that he wasn’t working on Thursday but he would be there at 9am. I called John’s number Thursday morning before the store opened because we wanted the old IPhone 6 Plus back. I left him a voicemail at 9:30am. The Verizon store opens at 10am. When I arrived at 10:30 John was dressed in Verizon attire. Clearly not only was he there but he was working on Thursday. Anyway when I asked for the IPhone 6 Plus back John said they already shipped it that morning. Ultimately John blamed Apple and the Apple ICloud for the failure. Insisting that Verizon did nothing wrong. There were numerous conversations with Apple representatives about having a chance to save the data. As a result of those conversations I was hoping for a miracle and a chance to have an engineer retrieve the data. When speaking with Apple we have been able to determine how this happened. When the backup was performed that went according to plan. The ICloud had all the information. When we came back to the store for the new IPhone X to download from the ICloud that processed correctly as well. When we saw the pictures starting to load from the ICloud that performed as anticipated. When Palwasha had us delete the photos from the old phone, Apple determined Palwasha did not log us out of the Apple account before deleting the pictures because there was no other explanation for how this occurred. So, when the old IPhone 6 Plus was given the command to delete all photos and it was still connected to the ICloud it started deleting all the photos from the ICloud. This explains why the 500 photos were showing in the new IPhone X and when the pictures started deleting from the ICloud they vanished from the new IPhone X at the same time.We have lost thousands of pictures spanning over a decade of pictures. It was done by the actions of Palwasha Ali and Verizon.
I came in to pay off some devices and they failed to inform me that I would lose about $750 in promotional credit if I did. I am now going through the painful process of trying to reclaim all that and I have been on the phone with VZ customer service for hours and counting. When I called the store back they were completely cavalier about it...denying that they knew it would happen and then implying that even if they did they would just allow future customers to proceed in similar circumstances. His words were along the lines of were not going to stop someone from paying off their phone if they insist on it. Who would insist on it if they knew they were going to lose hundreds of dollars? And of course he offered no apologies. Good news is that I was in and out fast...bad news is that the time Ive invested with their customer service has more than outweighed that.
I have my cell service with them theyre the best in my book
Friendly and professional service. They consider customers needs first.
Pricey but helpful staff.
Its ok, like s.v. mall location better
This review is directly to the Business account rep Sajjad Ahmad Salak. I was in need of a new carrier for my business and this sales rep took advantage of that and transferred my cell services over, ignoring the fact all my current iPhones were with T-Mobile and their technology is not compatible with Verizon. So, not only did this person ignore the information I provided him, costed my business thousands of dollars in downtime, but also started to ignore my phone calls and emails when I reached out to him in regards to a phone bill I received from Verizon for a day worth of services. SHAME on this kind of sales rep, people like him ruin companies name. I think he should be fired from this position so he is not cable of damaging other businesses or even Verizon itself like this.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON. CALL VERIZON AND ORDER FROM THEM DIRECT.Please can I please give a zero!!! Store Manager is absolute Garbage, employees are unknowledgeable and will lie to you to sell more accessories (if they dont sell enough they get fired.) I had to get a replacement phone and went in and had an Employee sell me a $50 screen cover, installed it (didnt tell me they dont normally do that), then when I saw a bubble in it and asked her to fix it she says the glue has to set. It will be fine. Ok that works I leave and go about my business with a huge bubble at the bottom of my phone.Fast forward 48 hrs later and Im back home in Cheyenne Wyoming when I take my phone in because I still have a bubble on my screen. When the Manager of that Verizon says uhhh we dont install those for that reason. He then proceeds to go above and beyond to try and help me...alas they dont have the screen protector for my phone. He tells me call the store in Pleasant Hill ask for the Store Manager and he can take care of me...I make the call and their SM says nothing he can do its my problem his employee shouldnt have done that. Are you serious your employee made a mistake and its my problem...ok. So I call Verizon customer service who were amazing and took care of everything .Oh by the way in the effort to get me a new screen protector we discover THEY DONT MAKE ONE FOR MY PHONE ANYMORE!!! THE WOMAN WHO SOLD IT TO ME IS A DIRTY F-ING LIAR!!!DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!
No one ever answers the phone. Cant get any help
Ive been trying to get my phone repaired. The first time the rep told me they could not repair it. The second time the rep saw the problem and wrote up a repair order which got lost somehow. Also the change of email the rep did was somehow lost as well.So the first rep was just wrong/untrained. The second one either was not competent or the software messed up.If you deal with them, insist on talking to the manager if you get an answer you dont like or dont trust. Also insist on getting a tracking number before you leave the store. And also insist on confirming all your contact information before leaving the store.
I have had nothing but great service at this store for many years! They are more than helpful whenever you have a problem with your phone or service. I live in Concord and would not go to any other VeriZon stores like in the mall etc. This is my go to go VeriZon store.
Not service orientated. Bad customer service.
Ive had other services Verizon is the best thank youEvery store I go toI have a good experience to excellence thank you
Saw to my needs immediately without reservation. And I felt completed satisfied with my purchase.
Excellent service, Kyle is the man. Super helpful, great experience thanks again
I’m giving one star cus I have no option, otherwise I’d pick 0! I just came in to pay my bill, no one said hello, no smiled, they said what I needed, I said pay bill, they said if I want to use the machine they have. After I was done, no one said bye, or thank you for coming. ..... BAD Service ! horrible Attitude!
Not helpful when you have a problem, extremely rudeI purchased 5 phones from them and have been a customer for 28 yearsMy next provider will be AT & T
Good service, remodeled and well stocked with accessories and knowledge
Horrible customer service/interaction. This is one of the worst cellular service stores I have been to. The Sales Associate was unknowledgable in a variety of their products, especially their newest phone in which I was solely there for. After months of pushed back release dates, the XPERIA PLAY was released on Thursday, May 26th and none of the associates could tell me anything about it that I didnt already know from their website. I then started to explore other options as the phone did not meet my expectations and still no useful information. Switching from AT&T may be a bad idea. I would expect a little more effort in gaining knowledge and understanding the consumers needs and hopefully accomodating it in some way. I will NOT purchase anything from this store.
Fast and friendly service
Horrible!! Went in to have a protector put on my phone and realized later they put it on upside down and ruined it!
Staff is unhelpful and rude. Every time I have been in this store they have not helped me and Ive had to drive to another location because their customer service and ability to help is garbage.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Always friendly and super helpful. I pick this location every time.
Best experience at a Verizon store yet.
They dont know what they are doing. Long long long waiting line. Not very attentive. Im sorry that I bought a phone from here. They made mistakes on my bill too, so I had to revisit.
They were extremely unhelpful and told me I had to wait an hour to pay my bill after I stood in line. They originally told me to use the kiosk which by the way doesnt give change the main reason I had an issue
Great service, Chris helped me make sure I qualified for the promotion I wanted and even left his break early to come out and help me when I came back the next day to finalize my choice. Soberly getting my next phone here too.
Worst service. Workers are horrible. They always say we cant do anything here. You need to call customer service. I really dont know what is their job, maybe just phone seller.
Well if you want unhelpful service from disengaged, unintelligent retail employees, then you’ve found the right place.
Mina Rocks, Patient, Professional, and Multitasker. Thanks
Excellent experience and pleasantly surprised
Excellent help!
Love my VZ
Nice location, helpful staff.
Could be a lot worse.
Heads up their asses
It was ok
Friendly
