This is a long story so grab a bowl of popcorn, and kick back and relax. I’m new to the Bay Area. I got a new job here while still being a full-time student in a foreign country because of my girlfriend. Two days after moving in together, my girlfriend and I went shopping for a new car for me to be able to commute to work. We – after several hours at the Lexus of Pleasanton and the help of Jeff Lao and the “finance guy” who’s name I can’t recall – got approved for a loan. Initially we had gone in for a Honda Accord, but we spotted this Used Audi A4 and fell in love with it, and decided to get it instead. I was pretty happy about my new purchase, and eager to get settled into my new life here in the Bay Area. A few days later I realized that the left rear door wasn’t opening on the inside or outside, and I lamented on whether or to ask Jeff if anything could be done about it, after 1/2 days of thinking I went ahead and shot him a message and he gladly decided to help me despite not being obligated to. After a week of back and forth and taking my car in to be diagnosed, they were unable to fix the door. Jeff managed to get his boss to offer to buy the car back at it’s original value, which I turned down, partially because of the inconvenience it would have been and the fact that I really loved this car, the first car I ever bought with my hard-earned money. Despite Jeff not being able to offer any other alternatives, I decided to keep this Audi with a non-functional rear door, and tell this story. Jeff went above and beyond to help me and for that I am very grateful, and I just want to pay Jeff’s small act of kindness, and hours of advocacy on my behalf, forward by letting every reader know about this story. I 10000% recommend that if you are looking for a car then Jeff Lao is your guy. He is cheerful, earnest and courteous, and willing to go above and beyond for his customers, and he will never do you wrong. I hope that you all will see what I saw and have an even better experience buying a car from Jeff than I did.

My husband and I recently purchased our 4th Lexus SUV with Steve Cacela of Lexus of Pleasanton, and while working with the same dealership over the years makes a statement, what is more noteworthy is that we live in Los Angeles! Unlike many luxury car sales people, Steve spent the better half of a day with us making sure that we saw both used and new hybrid SUVs. When at the end of the day we couldn’t decide, he allowed us to drive the pre-owned hybrid home to allow us more time to become familiarized us with the special features of the vehicle. At no time did Steve try to pressure us to make a sale. He was extremely knowledgeable and most helpful, and in the end, we purchased another fantastic Lexus SUV!Not only have we purchased all four of our vehicles from Lexus of Pleasanton, we have them exclusively serviced with service advisor extraordinaire Jason Portillo and Forrest Yee (previously our service advisor, and now the Lexus Service Manager) of Lexus of Pleasanton. Why? Because we have never found a dealership with such a high level of integrity and honesty. Communications from my service advisor (Jason) was very good, service-oriented, expectations were set well and despite dealing with a check engine light issue that required diagnostics, the serve was done within the agreed upon timeframe within the cost parameters he provided. Jason Vaughan has great knowledge on maintenance, and he is professional and very friendly. During the maintenance, they found my car needs additional work on it. He explained the reasons well and even send me a short video showing the issues. No one wants to spend more money on top of the original estimation, but for necessary fixes, thats actually a good news.

Michael Sullivan really knows his stuff, as do most of the folks,and he was very helpful and professionally friendly.However, I waited for my car to be done, and the waiting room while well laid out, was freezing. You could hang beef. It either needs to be kept warmer, or Lexus of Pleasanton should proactively provide a friendly suggestion to those waiting for their cars, to bring an extra jacket. I noticed the salesmen were wearing jackets or down shells.

Arrive early for my 10am appointment. Customer Service was friendly but ir all changed. It was a standard required safety check. I saw customer come and go. (My fault I didnt ask) but 4 hours later the service writer came and said my car was done. 4 hours OK? Looked at the invoice and found it was done in a hour. I sat in their waiting room for 3 extra hours. Trust me this wont happed again.
Leased a 2021 IS350 F Sport Sedan here and loved the experience. JV in sales helped us find the exact car in the (very rare) color my wife wanted. The price was right, and the service was excellent, including the pleasant leasing experience with Hash in finance. Would definitely return here for my next Lexus!

I recently purchased a Lexus NX 300 from Steve Cacela. I had an RX for many years that I loved. Steve was very patient with me as I test drove both the NX and RX and came back again to re-test drive with my husband. He addressed all of my questions and concerns and made the whole experience fun. Steve was informative about all of the new features and invited me back as often as I need so that I am comfortable with all of them. He even sent us off with baked goods! Delicious by the way.I also can not say enough about Jason Portillo the Master Certified Service Consultant who I have taken my RX to for many, many years. He is honest and straight forward about the maintenance needs of my car and is one of the main reasons I chose Lexus again for my new car. I generally have had very good experiences with Lexus of Pleasanton. Helpful, reliable, modern, clean shop. Though not inexpensive. My latest experience was not as good. I was told the car would be ready at 3. I get a text saying they would TRY to be ready by 5. I had brought the car in at 7:30 am. When I reminded them they said it would be ready by 3 I was told I could have it earlier, if I wanted to skip having it washed. I was very annoyed and felt manipulated. I would certainly return here but probably ask for a different service advisor.

I had a 60,000 mile service done on my RX350 and received exceptional service from David Scott. I had a couple things that needed attention, including a rodent nest in my engine. He explained each issue, advised what was urgent and what wasn’t. I called my husband and David’s advice was spot on. I had the nest removed, with some repair, the cost was less than I expected and now in great shape. I’vealways received excellent service at Lexus of Pleasanton and David Scott went above and beyond.

At this dealership JV and Nima, will do anything to get you on the hook and after they will leave you hanging.I started the purchase of the Certified Lexus NX200T vehicle since 11/28/2020 and just now received the car 12/22/2020. Almost one month later - they sold me car with no license plate or temporary plate. I cant not use it currently. this purchase was done through JV and Nima. maybe others are better but this is most horrific experience ever, dont ever buy car at this Lexus dealership. I have reached out to CA Atty general to resolve this matter but just on standby since Christmas.Jung Y.

Prompt, friendly and professional service. I was told they may need to keep my car overnight but the service was completed the same day, which was great. Got a nice loaner car for the day and I received a text message with a video detailing the work performed. Both were very much appreciated.
