Took my van in to have all the brake lines changed and they zip tied some of the brake lines to the rear axle and left some of the old lines hanging and the new lines in some places hanging 4-5in from the ground. Had my car for a week and charged me $800 for a hack job. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Then when you call to try to get them to make it right they are rude. When asked why would you zip tie it instead of putting it back into the bracket the guy said “why would I?” So unprofessional. If 0 stars was an option that’s what I would give them.

He lets you know what the problem is youre experiencing and gives you a date when the repairs will be completed along with cost of the repairs. Car made a rattling noise. Had him check it out, told me what was wrong. Fixed it within a day and car is quiet. Tonys greatYeah sure not every job will be fixed that fast, but they did good work. Id recommend this place!

Was charged $45 diagnostic fee for them to tell me we dont know why its not shutting off the fuel pump they never even looked at the fuel pump area

Tony and KJ at Chavez Auto were incredible. Took care of my vehicle and back on the road in as quick as possible. They went above and beyond to service me. Told me the service will take two days and got it back to me in one day! Great service and great guys!

Tony is honestly the best guy around. I was recommended to him by my best friend. He fixed my steering pump on my VW in no time, and then when I had other concerns and was freaking out he helped to explain to me what was the issue and fix that . And their prices are more than reasonable. He doesn’t try to take advantage of you or suggest you get a million other things done. Which is something I really appreciate.

They “fixed” my brake lines a couple months ago. Had to take the car into my preferred mechanic and he told me the work they did was wrong. Instead of changing out the brake lines like they should have, they did a cheap patch job. Please don’t go here.

I take all my cars to Tony and Alex they are honest and fair and do exceptional work and you can trust them to give the best deal and or go above and beyond the normal to get you and your car back on the road. I have never been more happy with an auto shop. Im not even from the area, they didnt know me from a can of paint on the porch, but they acted as if they had known me all there lives and they took fantastic care of me, that was 3 years ago and 3 cars ago. Had no check engine lights. Now i do because the mechanic clipped a brake wire. They didnt even fix it. Told me to buy another part and bring it to them so they can put it on for a fee. Hmmmm

I used to like Tony... He was nice, professional, and quick. This last time that I took my vehicle there..... He overcharged me by a couple of hundred bucks, He punctured my gas tank, and he took more off of my card than what he said he would 🤦... Just terrible

Tony is the best youll find in Michigan in terms of skill, price, speed, and personality. I cannot recommend him enough. I dealt with many shady auto repair shops (including some that broke a brake line to get more money), priced shopped around to 10 different repair shops, and Tony is the real deal. Hes a young guy that has an infectiously positive personality, is an extremely authentic, honest, and kind person that tells it like it is, gives the best prices in the area, and is quick with his work.Its clear hes in this business because he loves his job, and the best part is he guarantees his work. He replaced my entire brake line in less than a day, and even fixed some minor things that were wrong with my car at no additional charge. I took my car here three weeks ago it ran fine for maybe a week or so car started having same symptoms as before I returned it back to this shop then told I had a motor problem which was not true I delt with tony who was very rude and hollered at me like I was a child he was very unprofessional and even tthreatened me and my family I will never return and took car else where which is dri ing fine with no motor problem as he suggested

The Chavez boys have worked on my Cadillac SRX couple times. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else because idont think anyone will treat me like family. They did my rear main seal 2 weeks later i was out of oil almost so they did it again. 2 days later oil light back on they said it was my censor. I left it over a 3 day period to be fixed. When i came to pick it up it was not tuched so i had to wait longer. Within a hour of bringing it home again oil light back on they tried again. Long stoy short. I need a new motor now. Each tim they fixed it they said they did oil change. They did not ever. My truck had a very little leak didnt really need to fix it. Nothing was wrong with my truck. Within 1 moth of them tuching it. Motor gone. Thanks guys. You coast me who no how much. I went there hoping a shop would treat me right. $600 just in car rental only to have to get. A knew truck . and hopefully rebuild this motor. Stay all the way from these guys. The also have a shop on Elizabeth lake rd heading into Waterford. Oil change small repair. If you choose to use these people good luck. I wish i could give 0 stars or negitive.

I couldnt ask for a better auto care business. They have been so accomodating since the first time I came to them (~3 weeks) at the suggestion of the Tow Company. I had a hose that busted and was causing my engine to smoke, I almost took it to the dealership but thankfully the guy that towed my car knew about the guys here. I have since gone back and got all of my brakes done. They again were so quick and accomodating and fair in price. I had an issue arise right after I had my brakes done. I called and they came and picked my car up from my work and fixed it and brought it back to me in a timely manner. The service level of the work along with the customer service is exceptional. They have a long time customer.

I was camping at Pontiac Lake Rec area. The transmission linkage broke while backing into my campsite. I was highly referred to Chavez Auto. Upset and frustrated I was greeted by Alex with a smile and reassurance that my truck would be fixed soon. I received a text showing the old part, new part and update on my truck. Upon returning, I was pleased with the service, price and workmanship. I had mentioned that the vehicle I had barrowed while mine was down, was stalling. Tony, Alex & KJ were gracious enough to make time to help me with a MAP sensor on that vehicle to make sure I didnt have any further issues on my camping weekend.I have never met a business with such integrity, with a caring staff, affordable prices and compassion. Way to go Alex, Tony and KJ for everything!!!!!
