This game shop I alway take my little nephew to and spoil him the staff is the best in all metro detroit when it comes to customer care; about a year ago it wasnt if you see the reviews before they were right but now it has changed and it is one of the best to go to!

They sold me a game that they claimed was new but it didnt have a plastic wrapper over it as if it was new. It Only had piece of tape to keep it closed. It also had a sticker that said new like you see on the displays. I purchased 4 new games today and this was the only one in that condition.

Great staff and I heard recently that they changed store manager. The old manager was an alright guy but the new guy is a pretty cool dude. Definitely a good place to go and get details about games and upcoming titles. The staff is core gamers just like the rest of us so they are quite knowledgeable. Definitely worth to check this place out.

I cant stand when people act like you are putting them out when u ask to buy somthing, if you dont like your job find a new one, this only makes me dislike gamestop more, already they rob you when you buy a game they rob you when u try to sell it back ! Go support your local game stores like the one inside dixieland fleamarket they are in the back and have insane games and systems for fair prices

They need to answer the phone. I had to call another gamestop to get my question answered. They have to work on their customer service way better. Other than that better selection than most. Neat and clean well organized and the staff once in the store can be very helpful.

The Game Stop in White Lake off of M 59 has the best employees i have ever come across anywhere this was my 2nd visit and these kids working were phenomenal!!! Kudos to them, i wish i had there names to put out here👍👍

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolutely the most disgusting gamestop Ive ever been to. Management is very dickish and does not care about their employees talking down to their customers. Been coming here for 15+ years and I miss the gamestop it once used to be. If anyone reads this DO NOT come here. You will regret it. Your better off going to a location that doesnt treat their customers bad. I WILL NEVER come here again.

One of the best stores around for a Gamestop, but have issues like answering the phones, called ten times today to the same recording saying all store associates are busy, maybe get an answer 1/30 times during various times throughout the day

Hassle free, refurbished exchange. Bought a refurb at a different store no where near me (bad idea). The console was banned by the previous owner. Apparently a super rare thing, but none the less a headache. This location exchanged it (within a week of buying the first one), and everything works fine. Super appreciative.

I recently had surgery and they went out of their way to make sure that a game I had on reserve got to me. Ive never had any issues with the staff there.

I went to return and item and the employee who helped me his name was Robert he was extremely rude. He needs to work on his customer service skills or just not be in customer service.He acted like me returning something was the worst thing I could possibly do and was just mean the entire time.He was a white older Male, I will not be going back to that gamestop.I told him have a nice day and he just scoffed, like screw you too than.

Paid 200 dollars for a package and for extra for 2 day shipping and it never came in two days

For buying games its great! If your there for the culture i completely understand they have shirts, plushies, collectibles and lots more. But selling games is why i put a lower rating, if your not trying to sell a brand new game i recommend you dont they dont give you much in return, trust me I KNOW. Just sell games online you will make a better profit there.

The staff at this store are amazing the store is always clean the staff are polite they only thing i can complain about is ive bought two pre owned ps4 controllers from this store and both controllers have had the same fault to them the left thumbsticks are functional but they also dont register movements right both controllers ive had to blow in the left thumbstick just to get them to either run right on call of duty or defend right on 2k kinda feels like whos ever in charge of trade ins isnt doing his job the right way by testing the trade ins like is required by all gamestop locations but this and the slim selection of games but this store is always giving you the best customer service possible

Between the stereotypical stoner, the Im to cool to work here Asian guy, and the guy that has very little social skills, its not a very good place. Selection of games is a bit less than other GameStop locations. I dont know if its the location or what. Dont bother coming to this one. Other locations are worth the drive.

This store is hard to rate. I go here quite often and my experience is always different depending on whos working at the time. There are people I love to deal with and also people that I dread to deal with. They usually have what I need, can find it at another location if they dont, and the store is overall clean and easy to navigate. Check out is usually pretty slow, but that is probably just as much the customers fault as the employees from what Ive seen. There are nicer gamestops that are in nicer areas, but this location gets the job done. The couple of guys that I do like to deal with here make it worth this being my default location.

Absolutely terrible. I called them and asked if they had a certain product in stock. The employee on the phone reassured me that they did.So on my 45-minute break at work I drove out there, wait in line for 20 minutes, only to be told that not only dont they have it that its no longer carried about the franchise. The guy who helped me just said, well I was going to answer the phone I would have checked for you.So why wouldnt your coworker do that too? I will never go back to this GameStop, and I recommend people not to visit this store either. There are many other Gamestops tjay dont provide this pitiful service. Theyre very rude, extremely slow, and lackluster.Thats what I get for not going to the one I typically go to common the one in Rochester right by M59.

Very rude. I felt like I was a burden to serve. Ordered a Negan pop figure and was told it would be in 9/15/16. So I called at 12pm on the 15th and the gentleman said i dont know man I have not gone through the boxes call back in a hour. So when I called back in a hour a different person answered I asked if my order came in and he said Im not sure let me put you on hold. 10 minutes later they hang up. Ok so I wait and take a lunch break go to the store, when I ask them if it came in he throws his arms up man I dont know yet I been with customers... I replied with oh ok when should I check back? He says I dont know when ever I get around to opening these boxes and thats what pissed me off. I understand work can be frustrating and it gets busy, hell I work for Chrysler I know all about it. But dont treat me like a issue. With out us there is no you! Its our money that keeps you in business, the customers!Come to find out it did not even come in so the guy that TOLD me it would be in, obviously did not know for sure. Instead of saying it will be here between this date and this date he decided to just say oh yeah it will be here this day no problem. Thats a lie. I also bought a 2DS bundle one week prior and when I asked about the policy on returning a game if i didnt like it he told me 7 days but we dont rent out games to people we will catch on if your buying games to beat them and return them back to us.... lol was that necessary??? Really??? I just asked a question. Well they lost my business.

I had very bad experience yesterday over there at the gamestop by Pontiac...i bought an iPhone 4 and asked a guy to put this phone on Sprint and so i just found out that he putted on AT@T plus i restarted my phone and now its saying activation error so now i have to take it back........😐not happy
