Bought my boat there 2 weeks ago. Very few family run businesses left that are worth a damn. These guys were great. As a new boater Joe showed me how everything on the boat worked and how to use it properly. Had everything on the boat fixed before I took delivery it was a used boat and George his father made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Good people and good boats. I will definitely be back for all of my maintenance and repair needs. Cant recommend this place enough. Support locals.

Great family owned shop. Edited to add - I needed a minor repair on my boat. Joe (owner) literally gave me the part off his personal boat so I could continue using mine until the part came in. These guys are the best in the area.

I have just completed over 20 tears with this rare family run business. George, the father of the group, claims I am their oldest customer and I do not know if he means in tenure or age. I have seen his sons grow from kids to accomplished business men who know their business!. I would recommend this marine center to any boater that is looking for a new boat, boat storage, boat repair, boat parts or just who wants to meet a fine family who makes you feel welcome and can solve your problems or meet your needs.

This marina reminds me of an old mom and pop store, run well and they take care of their customers . The staff is very friendly and and will answer all of your questions. Their prices are better than their competitors. This is my favorite of the bunch.

George, Joe, and George, jr. are great to work with. We bought a boat at Gulf Coast and the process was smooth and easy. The boat was delivered to them while were on a lengthy RV trip and they kept it in storage until we returned. Any questions we have are answered immediately and if something needs to be taken care of it is handled professionally and quickly.

Bought a 2014 Key West 226 Bluewater in Aug 2020 from Gulf Coast. Great experience, Joe was very helpful and easy to work with, had them install a couple extras before taking delivery and they were reasonable on price and quick to get it done. Would highly recommend them for your boating needs!

The guys at gulf coast were amazing. Took the time to help me figure out and fix my motor. As a guide any day off the water is a day I don’t make a pay check so it was very refreshing to find a place where the mechanics took the time to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend them and will be going to them exclusively from now on!

I needed electrical work on my bay boat that was beyond my capabilities. Gulf Coast Marine (George and George Jr) found the issues, repaired them quickly, dressed up wiring in a neat manner and washed the boat interior. Wow! Service and attention to detail was above my expectation, fast and at what I considered to be a reasonable price. Two thumbs up.

For starters you can get gas here. BOAT gas.I went here to get a new boat motor. Its an Etec 115. I went here because my old engine was blown up.I co hosted a fishing radio show. I spent alot of time around boats and charter captains. I have an ear to the ground in the boating and fishing community here in South West Florida.I heard nothing but good about them. I went to see them.The service and the knowledge was awesome. Its a family run and operated business with some employees as well.I received an excellent deal on my new motor and the process was quick and easy. I had to finance director to overall cost but that was fast and seamless as well. The job they did installing it was awesome. spectacular clean. well done done in a timely manner and even washed the boat spotless before returning it to me.A week later on a Saturday morning going out to boat, I had a Boat wiring issue I stopped in, the fella came from behind the desk jumped on my boat fixed it told me no charge and sent me on my way.Whether you needed service or repower or in the market to buy a boat this is the only place that I would recommend.Customer service along a lot of avenues is dead. Not here not at Gulf Coast Marine Center.I look forward to doing business with them the entire time of my boating Adventures.

I took my boat into Gulf Coast Marine center to get the drive on my boat fixed. So I dropped the boat off and instead of a call stating what it needs, I get a call from the son’s owner Joe. He says your boat is fixed, we replaced the throttle cable . In good faith, I paid ‘ a lot! “ for the repair and dropped it into the water. Well the problem ( knocking in the motor ) was not repaired at all, so they put in a throttle cable for no reason. So when I brought the boat back, Joe ( the service manager I guess ) said they refuse to do anymore work on the boat. I told him the boat was mis diagnosed and the problem wasn’t fixed . He runs out of the main room and about 5 minutes later, the owner comes out. Now the owner, who is MUCH more friendly then his son, at least said he would try and diagnose the boat. All he did was put it in the water and confirm that it knocks. So then the owner calls me, says he can’t or won’t work on the boat. Says the repairs would be over 10k on a boat. He thinks a new motor is over 10k for my I/o. Needless to say, I was not happy with the service, they did a repair that didn’t need to be done, and there customer service is horrible. I would not recommend this marina to anyone . Anyone!

This is the best dealer around for Key West boats. Family owned, easy to deal with. Gets busy but prices are good. I shopped several Key West dealers from Clearwater to Ft Myers and these where the guys to buy from. As for making a deal on a boat, sat down and got a No BS price, much lower quote than dealer with the nice facility up the road. Certain times of the year the service department gets busy, but thats Florida...

Just bought a new boat from Gulf Coast Marine Center and I highly recommend! Joe and George are great, very friendly. Joe made the sale very easy and explained everything. Also, this is a one stop shop for all of your fishing or boating needs. You can even have a beer at the Tiki bar. Gas and supplies are not far from the El Jobean bridge if you need something while you are on the water.

Buying a new motor to repower my Mako 248. Did a lot of shopping around. My friend has been using Gulf Coast for years and suggested I call them. I did and found Joe at Gulf Coast to be great to work with. Very knowledgeable and flexible to work with. Also able to get me in shop to rig motor quickly. Its 1.5 hour haul to get there, but I have a good feeling that the drive is worth it.

Gulf Coast Marine is the best! If youre looking for honest boat repairs, go to GCMC. Its a little out of the way in El Jobean, but George and his staff will take good care of your boat. Hes been my go to guy for over 25 years. I wouldnt take my boat anywhere else for service.

I really liked Gulf Coast but last year we had our boat in there twice to get it fixed...$1200 later...very disappointed. We had to to to another marine shop to get it fixed.

We bought our boat from them 11 years ago. We still have it and love every minute of it to this day. Gulf coast has always been great when we call and need parts. They shipped them to us. We checked around before we bought our key west boat. We had a local dealer in Ocala, where we lived. They couldnt compete with gulf coast prices. Now we live in port charlotte.

Helpful and friendly. Reasonable pricing and great advice. Always make time to find the right parts and discuss repairs and projects.

Very Shady business practices ... They couldnt give me a price on a simple 200hr service for a 2012 Yamaha 90 ... Stated it could be $700 ... Really? I called 4 other service centers in the area that gave me very specific price and exactly what needed to be done for $250-$350 !! STAY AWAY !! BTW that Pops bar is a joke as well !!!

Buyer Beware. They will treat you great when you buy a new boat, then like crap afterwards. They had my boat for over two weeks and broke all promises to get it done. Why?They had the nerve to tell me that they sold a couple of new boats and mine went to the end of the list and that would continue as long as new boats were sold. Incredible incompetence.If you are planning to buy a new boat, dont go there. You too will be put on the end of the list when requiring service. These people shouldnt be in business.

I repowered my 21 bay boat with a new 2014 Evinrude 135 HO 25 in. shaft. The salesman I dealt with was top notch and the service people were top notch too. The did everything they said they would do and even more. My boat was showing yellow on the bottom from the salt water and they cleaned it and no extra charge. The motor is phenomenal and the installation is very clean just like my boat was when I picked it up and it was done when they said it would be. I recommend them highly.

Inquired about a motor they were selling used, got the run around and no answers and very rude customer service. Going back to ingman where they treat customers better, have more parts in stock, and carry better quality.

Very very poor treatment by the owners son. I don’t think they care but they lost a customer who is going to be around for the next 40 plus years. That’s at least three new boats I would have purchased from them all because he refused to acknowledged they messed up. He wasn’t even willing to compromise and meet me halfway.

Purchased a used boat and was told if anything is wrong they would be more then happy to help me with the problem. Ran the boat once amd found out the motor was blown. Called them and told me they could not help at all. Do not buy from this place!!!! This place is a joke and will tell you they have the best boats only to sell you trash and tell you bad luck got you.

Never came out to gas pump after ringing bell a few times, I’m still waiting till this day

I waited at the gas pump for 5 hours to get gas and no one ever came, ended up not having enough gas to get home and was stranded on the ocean for 2 days.

The guys at the gas pumps are great but unless you show up pulling a boat or in a boat you cant get anybody to talk to you and the prices are considerably higher as what they are everywhere else for simple accoutrements like an anchor or a boat line also found it very interesting that they did not offer any type of boat swivels other than replacement ones for high-end boats which wont work in an everyday boat very limited selection no staff ever-present at the counter and its been its stop being in there a few times trying to buy things

Great family run business.Always seem to have the parts on hand when i need them .Great selection of boats and accessories.And if they dont have whats in there large catalog. They can get it next day.I have itroduced friends and they treat them good also.ThanksJoieGeorgeGeorge Jr .

I have been coming to George and his sons for years and they do great work and are honest and if something is overlooked or wrong the make it right. I cant wait to get my new E-TEC-G2- 250 HO from them.
