West Coast Trailer was the best choice I could have made.I purchase a used Chevrolet Silverado 2018 that needed new adapters to hook up my trailer. With a minute of listening to my request Don went to work. The last owner of my truck had cut the factory wires and replaced them with a DIY mess. Don did not hesitate. He immediately replaced them with the wires and adapters that I needed and professionally wired it all in place and made it look just like the Chevrolet factory installation. Don worked with precision and speed. West Coast Trailer is super reasonably priced. Also this cannot be overstated, the quality of the installation is perfect. Every detail exceeded my expectations.

Never had any service done there. But do buy suspension parts for my triple axle trailer. Leaf springs, equalizers, bearings, brakes, and more - they typically have it. Prices are very reasonable. Very nice people to deal with. If they dont have something tropical trailer in Fort myers is the place to go but thats further.

I bought new continental from them in 2007 which I still have up northwhich was a great experience. I recently took another trailer to them for what I thought was a failed brake actuator and they found that it just needed a brake bleed and only charged me for 1/2 hour labor . It worked perfect and I towed the trailer with a 3000 lb boat on it just over 1000 miles safely. They could have replaced the actuator which was not bad but with their honestly chose the honest route. They are HONEST!!

These guys were great. I searched for trailer sales on Google and decided to stop by. Every place I tried was two weeks out for a 6x12 trailer. I drove out with a brand new trailer in less than 15 minutes and it was $500 cheaper than anywhere else. It even came with 2 free t shirts!

My experience with West Coast Trailers from the very first conversation with the owner Scott to when I picked up my 6’4” x 14’ Express trailer was seamless. Scott offered any advice on the trailer specs from single versus double axle, brakes verses no brakes, etc to make the selection process easier. Very disappointing that I bought this trailer, brand new 16 mos ago $3,400.00 and the brakes, rotors, hubs were shot. Totally rusted and needed to spend $700.00 on new gear for a trailer that was supposed to be upgraded with stainless hardware. I am meticulous in complete wash downs with Salt Away after each boating day. The quality in parts used was absolute junk.

Great place. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. Bought my trailer without having my boat there. Came back a few weeks later to do finale adjustment. Scott said they needed it a couple days. Dropped it off at 11AM got a call at 4 pm. What service. PS they even checked the vacuum hoses on my old Ford ranger. Who does that???

Put a brand new tire on my trailer in under 10 minutes. Very happy!

Brought a trailer to West Coast last week and needed a box and four tires. I was an obvious first time boat owner who’s only concern was safety while trailering the vessel. I took the owner to the trailer and unloaded it, when we got to it, the jack subsequently fell apart. I come back a week later and the four tires were adjusted to a more common (but equal size) that saved me money and increased quality. Instead of replacing the jack, he fixed it. He also informed me of a box that was more suitable for the trailer and saved me $200. I went from $1,300 to less than $1,000. He checked all my hubs and assured me that the guy whom I had paid to check it out before a cross country trip had done a good job. I was very pleased with how I was treated and at no time did I feel upsold or undersold. I felt like I got exactly what I was looking for - a functional and safe tote for my watercraft. This place is pretty far from my home and I imagine I passed a lot of other trailer shops to get to him, but he was recommended by my marina and I can see why. Won’t got anywhere else. -Brent

These guys are great. I pulled in wanting a fender light replaced because the tire was rubbing the wire. Well the reason the tire was rubbing the wire is because my trailer had the wrong leaf springs on it from the factory! They fixed me up in less than an hour and at a decent price. They even fixed my fender light! I highly recommend West Coast Trailers.

Thought I had done a review on these folks a couple of years back but guess I did not. They just finished the annual service on our boat trailer, travel trailer, kayak trailer and utility trailer. So good work deserves good words. We have been customers for six or seven years now. They do all the periodic maintenance and repairs on our rigs. Excellent work performed and fair prices charged. They do things on the agreed to schedule. Staffing is stable. The folks that work on your trailer this time more than likely worked on it last time and will probably work on it next time. Try to find that at a Big Box dealership. A trailer is a Pull Behind lawsuit at best. With all the things that can go haywire when towing and the liability that can result - my wife and I have much less stress on the road knowing the folks at WCT own the last set of hands that twisted wrenches on our trailers.

Scott and staff did a fantastic job on my new custom Continental boat trailer !!! There were a few issues with the aluminum rims that were damaged, but Scott quickly corrected the problem with new rims and tires. Now it is exactly what I wanted and is perfect. Continental makes great custom trailers with quality parts !!!

The website is misleading. Mostly boat trailers so if you want anything else save yourself the trip and call first. Staff was dismissive, no offer to order anything, just “this is what we have in stock”

There was a gentleman who worked for southwest trailers that was incredibly rude to me at a local store.I dont know the gentlemans name but i do know that hes about 260 lbs 6 ft 2 and sounds like hes from new york.The attendants inside the store had to apologize for the mans behavior.

We broke down on the Peace River Bridge on I75. We watched our trailer tire roll past us on the road! Miss Google helped me find West Coast Trailer Inc. in Port Charlotte.This repair was probably the best and most reasonable repair ever. It was worth driving 40 minutes to the shop. We needed a new axile, and 2 new guide poles.Don jumped right on our repair and said wed be on our way soon. An hour later we were on the road again. Great experience and nice people to deal with.

Bought a new trailer from West Coast Trailer. Nothing but professional service. Removed boat from old trailer and put on new. Fast service and even sold my old trailer.

Scott and his staff outfitted my newly purchased suv with all the necessary wiring for towing my boat, additionally in talking to Scott I found he has an extensive background in racing and helped resolve a long standing timing problem with my car. He wouldnt accept payment for helping with the car.

Spent 1200 dollars on a trailer service (bunks, bearings, springs etc.) the frame fell apart a few months later. They said the frame was fine even though it was heavily rusted and suggested I go with the repair instead of purchasing a new trailer. After the trailer fell apart I was forced to buy a new trailer as my boat was stuck in the water. Worse part is, a new trailer was only 990 dollars. The manager scott obviously ripped me off the first time, and was unwilling to help me out with the price of a new trailer. Ill never go back.

We blew a trailer strap on my boat and were lucky enough to be close by this place. We pulled in and they had us fixed up and back on the road within fifteen minutes. While there, they checked all of our tires and bearings, replaced our winch, and talked me out of buying new trailer tires, (because I didnt need them) even though I wanted to spend the money. They were extremely helpful, answered all of my questions, and gave me a crash course on my boat trailer. My only regret is that they arent closer to our home town of Destin.
