No matter how many times I have to go into this place, they are never friendly. Every time you say thank you, they never say you’re welcome. And they never smile, I just feel that they could be much friendlier than they actually are. It’s uncomfortable going in to grab your food when they look as if they cant stand serving you.

Nice little grocery store with Jamaican food to go in the back. Beef patties were good and hot.

The owner is such a sweet lady. I come here for the oxtails and Im never disappointed! Maybe one of these days I will actually try the curry chicken for a change.Great place.

Is was awesome. Excellent quality caribbean meal. Customer sevice was amazing...we wanted something special that was not on the menu at the time and shernette went and cooked it for us. We were over joyed my first time there and will be going back for all my caribbean supplies and meals. Feel like me deh a yard...

This place needs to be a historic landmark in Charlotte County. I have been coming to visit Port Charlotte since I was a little girl. This was the go to Jamaican restaurant and still is over 25 years later. Also known as Bunnys I find myself at this place at least once a week. They have Lunch specials that are perfect with chicken. The oxtail is really good and so is the curry goat. Make sure to stop by and grab a plate.

This is a specialty grocery store, catering to a largely West Indian, Oriental, and to a minor degree, Latin community. They have brined meats, fish, pork, fresh and frozen oxtails, goat meat, cow foot and a wide variety of various and sundry food items uniquely indigenous to the Caribbean. The other half of the building is a restaurant that caters to not only Jamaicans, but to most anyone who can appreciate the highly seasoned, spicy, home cooked culinary delights. One big observation....there are not enough posting of prices for the majority of grocery items on the shelves, though freezers do have prices displayed as well as shelves with the ground provisions, some of their specialty and seasonal offerings also lack adequate pricing. Overall great place to go to either to shop or browse.....

I picked up soup for a friend that said it was delicious, however, it took 20 minutes with only 1 person ahead of me waiting for their food. The woman behind the counter is never friendly when I go in and moves like a sloth, no hurry. But they have no competition.

This is my go to restaurant whenever I come to Florida to visit my parents. So love the food and taste MUCH better than the other place. I darn not mention lol.... Go and enjoy!!!

Ive been going here for years. It reminds me of Jamaica everytime i go in. There is almost always music playing. Theres always food cooking. And i mean some dangum good food. The people are lovely good spirited and genuine. If you dont know about this place you need to check it out. Easily one of charlotte countys jems..

Ordered the cow foot soup and a large oxtail meal.The food was mouthwatering.So tasty!!A little bit expensive but hey its worth it.

The staff was nice and helped up find the items we wanted and some we needed. There was some conversation so she tried to get to know us a little and we chatted about this and that but she wasnt overbearing and it didnt feel like someone was on your neck. Helpful but not suffocating.

My mom has eaten here before and today was my first time. The food was nice and fresh. The soup was so good too. I love that you can buy caribbean groceries there too. I cant wait to eat here again :)

They have a good selection of carribean ingredients for what ever you are cooking. They are also quite conveniently located. I would recommend going to the Carribean Oriental Grocery for any of your Caribbean cooking needs

What I enjoy about this little its a small restaurant inside outside and it reminds me of being in the islands of food was delicious and the staff was very friendly easy to chat with I recommend anyone to check that out weather like West Indian food or not

The food here is always fresh and so good. They staff is so polite, and they always have the groceries I need. I especially love the patties, fried dumplings, Cod fish and Ackee, and the Cod Fish Fritters.. You wont be disappointed!!!

Excellent oxtail ... will tell everyone about this gem. Great Store. Okay I purchased some curry goat 11/12/20. To change up. And I was a little disappointed. I had so many bones that the gravy had tiny ones in it. Had to eat very carefully. I mean very carefully !!. So had to take a star away. I have a three strike rule. Strike one guys. Sorry.
