Very helpful, went above and beyond what I expected. Got the exact paint mixed for my truck plus some tips that were helpful.

I called ahead to order some paint, I was given one price and told that it would be ready but when I arrive they had no idea that I had called and the price that they gave me was completely different in person then it was over the phone. I wasted more than an hour of my day and ended up not being able to get the paint for my customer. They are knowledgeable and helpful but they seriously dropped the ball for me today and I am extremely displeased

So after buying body and paint supplies from industrial finishes for the last 20years I purchased an old out dated can of Evercoat body filler that was bad, so I told Floyd at the Portland store about the problem and returned the can with the receipt but They refused to refund me my $35.00 after spending thousands of dollars over the past 20years. WHAT A JOKE!!! So I went to LKQ foster auto parts to buy my body and paint supplies and discovered there paint products and not only way cheaper and in some cases less then half the price with with way better color matching on late model cars.

Ive been repainting parts on my motorcycles. Ive received a ton of help and advice from the people at IFS at both the McLoughlin and Stark locations. Really good pricing also, I had to buy some Spies Hecker and IFS charged me less than half what Id been quoted elsewhere.

After someone swept past my car, busting my driver’s side mirror and driving off, I decided it would be cheaper for me to DIY the whole repair instead of going through insurance or a repair shop. I did some research and ordered the part - easy! Now I just needed to get some paint to ensure it matches the rest of my vehicle.I called Industrial Finishes to see if they might have the color I needed. I told them the color code and they pulled the formula off the shelf in preparation as I told them I was headed there. Upon entering, I was kindly greeted by a staff member. He took my payment info and started the mixing process. The other staff members chatted with me while I waited and provided some helpful info on the paint. Within 10 minutes, I was out the door with a spray can, ready to complete my DIY. Everything worked out great! I’m thankful for their helpfulness and amazing pricing. I called around a bit and nobody else was as knowledgeable or affordable as Industrial Finishes.There is plenty of parking and getting back into McLoughlin is super easy once you loop around the back of the lot.

Ive driven by here so many times and stopped in to see what they were about yesterday afternoon, hoping theyd have a product I needed to complete a project.There were 4 employees; a woman helping the only customer at the front counter and 3 guys standing behind another counter a few feet back in front of what appeared to be aisles of inventory in unmarked containers.I paused byvthe front counter and noticingvthe woman was bust explaining a purchase, I stepped over to the counter with the 3 guys to find out what kinds of finishes they do b.c. I needed a tough durable low VOC clear coat to finish my project.They sent me back to the front counter saying the woman there would answer my questions.So, I returned to the entry abd waited as the woman continued working with the buyer and the guys laughed and made jokes...for almost 10 minutes as those 3 guys continued to goof off after refusing to offer me any insight...and since it appeared the woman...the only one of 4 employees who was actually working...wasnt going to be finished anytime soon, I got out my dmart phone and went to the website to try to learn what they actu a lay do at this place.The website wasnt much hrlp either...a lot of generality and prostheletizing about religious and moral values but still doesnt actually tell you what specific products they sell so I left the store and headed to a competitor to get what I needed...and walked out with it in 5 minutes.So what was it that prevented the 3 employees who were clearly goofing off from even attempting to help me? Is it that Im female, or a blonde? (So was the woman at the counter...the only one who was actually working). Are misogyny and sloth also part of their core values? Is treating a prospective customer like an annoyance and making them the subject of shallow commentary how this company does business?Apparently so...so kudos to the woman working behind the front counter for what she probably has to put up with from those bufoons, but I wont waste my time there again or recommend that anyone else bother either.
