Worst dealership experience of my life: started with a call to 3 Jeep dealerships in the area, had to speak with the parts dept at all three to make sure the parts, including the wiring harness, for adding a tow hitch to my 2016 Cherokee. Sounds simple enough, right? Chose the dealership by my house and took the day off of work to take my car in. Picked it up that night and zero work had been done because the wiring harness wasn’t in stock. The one I waited on hold for 20 minutes to make to make sure it was there before scheduling anything else. Tried again 3 months later when I had time, did the same thing in calling the parts dept to make sure they had the wiring harness. Before I dropped the car off I specifically asked if the parts were there, or else there is no point in dropping off my car, right? Pick my car up and I didn’t find out till 3 months later that they installed a tow hitch with no wiring harness at all, basically they put me on the road with an illegal car. How I had to have the kid at Uhaul put a wiring harness on the call is disappointing on so many levels. I wouldn’t let this place chance my oil, and probably will never go to a Jeep dealership ever again. Looking into legal action.
I had an amazing experience with the Service department when I had a sudden issue with my vehicle. Chris provided legendary customer service and did everything he could to get me back on the road on the same day. He truly made a bad experience an excellent one.
I was sent here from Geico for my car a few months ago, as well as my daughters car recently. Felt hesitant because of the reviews regarding a long time in shop, but the jobs were finished on time and with no problems. I was updated on the cars progress frequently via text wand was able to get my cars back on the road asap. Both the staff and service was terrific and I definitely recommend!
I was interested in getting a Chevy Equinox or a Ford Escape that they had on the lot and emailed the dealership. I had an immediate response and Skyler called to set up a time to come take a look at the car. I came in the following morning when they opened and they already knew who I was and had a salesman ready to go to show me both vehicles. Within 20 minutes of arriving I was test driving the Equinox which I ended up purchasing. Everyone from start to finish was awesome and really nice. I was taken care of from the start up until they handed me the keys. It is definitely a place I would recommend going to find a new vehicle
DO NOT BUY from Lithia! They do not have quality used cars. They have poor communication. The body shop & service dept do not do quality work! They had my car for 5 weeks and only fixed the bare minimum to get there car back in the road without any concert for the safety of integrity of the work done. The put a burned up tire BACK ON my car! When the car broke down, it said the stability bar needed to be fixed, they didnt change that out at all, and 5 days after giving it back to me, the engine light came back on! Guess what needs to be fixed?! The stability bar! Go elsewhere! They dont know what theyre doing over at Lithia Portland!!
When I walked in i was immediately greeted, Jay was not only polite but respectful of my time. Not once did I feel pushed, I could really relate to him on a human level and not just as a customer. I can’t thank him enough. I met Sergio the second time I came in to do more test driving, we had an excellent conversation, he gave me honest answers to my questions and I am so thankful to both of them because they took my wants and needs and found me the absolute perfect Jeep. Both Sergio and Jay were just a text a way to support me 24/7 with anything I wanted to discuss. I love my car so much and I’m so happy I came to Lithia!!
I had a really good experience here. Thank you to the workers and everyone else for being super welcoming and understanding and doing an excellent job on my car.
The service guys use to be great😞 always willing to help and do what you need.....Now my car has been there 10 days😡 with no work done on it...Also there for the 2nd time for the same thing....we will see how this turns out?
Bought my new Ram truck, great promotion with the 0%, skylar was upfront from the start and by the time I got there the numbers were all the same unlike some dealers I’ve dealt with.
If you have never bought a car here youre missing out of a great experience. I hate car shopping. I will be back.
I called earlier in the morning and Bill told me that they would work my car into todays schedule. When I arrived at the dealership I went over all the scenarios of the repair. When I was signing papers for authorization to work on the car, the service tech said, Oh and we may not be able to look at your car until next week. For me, thats unacceptable. My car is my only car. I cant leave it to have it looked at. Thanks a lot for nothing Lithia. You wasted my time and gas.
I love my jeep, but they took 25 days after the purchase date to pay off my trade in, so I was charged for both car payments in one month! Tried to resolve this with them and they refused to help. They claimed it was because they had to wait until I was approved for the loan, but the finance manager is the one who emailed me 1 day after I purchased the jeep/traded in my vehicle in saying I was approved for the loan. I would make sure to get in writing that they will pay off your car in 10 days. I also spent over 8 hours at the dealership, because they dont have any idea how to do paper work efficiently.
We got what we were looking for. Tim Dane is who I suggest to go threw if your looking for a nice new shabby vehicle. I cant say I enjoyed the length of time at the dealership. But was worth the wait thanks for such a sexy truck.
Great place to have body work done. Roseanne and Grant were our service advisors. We took out 2017 GMC Yukon Denali in for minor work. Then had them fix a door ding while it was in there. Everything was perfect. They even washed and vacuumed our Yukon. They run the place smoothly and with a pleasant attitude. I won’t hesitate to drive from Oregon City again to have them fix any of our vehicles.
Larry Porter was a kind and friendly (got my boy some sweddish fish from the vending machine). He was patient but also tried to make it a quick experience. I left the dealership happy with the minivan I got and the price I got it for. Also not only was Larry helpful, but the staff there made sure I was taken care of (thanks Dale).
Definitely not the experience I set out for. Called Mercedes Benz of Portland for the body shop and was referred to Lithia body & paint apart of the Cadillac dealership.Scheduled my appointment 6 weeks out to have the repairs done on my 2016 Mercedez E-350 with minor body damage to the re-bumper. I called the day before my appointment being they failed to give me a reminder just to make sure dropping the car off was not going to be an issue and that a comparable rental car would be available. I explained that I had to be to work in the morning as I had meetings all day. I was assured a rental car would be ready and that they could start the repairs. I further explained that the rental car was being paid by the postal service as they had hit me and that I didn’t want to leave my car if the repairs couldn’t start right away. When I arrived in the morning as discussed, no one knows what is going on. Once they figure it out, they take the car and send me off with the Enterprise gal that also has no idea I was looking for a comparable car. After sitting around and going to a couple different Enterprise rental car locations I ended up with a car to drive. I started my journey arriving at 8am and made it out 2 hours later with a car.The next day I’m called back mid-day and told that they had messed up the appointment for the scheduled repairs and that they need to reschedule me out another 6 weeks. Nothing can be done and I get to pay for the rental car in hopes that the postal service will pay for the mistake the body shop made. I asked if they could arrange my car to be delivered for the trouble they caused and was told that was not going to happen.Needless to say I would never leave my car or time in their care as it was not valued.
Worst repair on my car. Do not visit. They left the most important retainers, that holds the front bumper cover to the fender off. Had to buy new ones for $86.00, for both sides. There was nothing wrong with the old ones, they just didnt put them back on. This made the bumper cover move up and down with a big gap between the two parts. I guess it they were In to big of a hurry to do the job right. I can only imagine how many other cars are half done.
I had a great experience here! Highly recommend!!
I had a good experience, very professional and good quality!
Great place. Doesnt Rob you blind.
Very friendly atmosphere.
The staff was awesome- special Thank you to Grant and Roseanne! Car looks great!
My experience was exceptional! Chris Campbell is both professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
I had my car worked on here through Geico after an accident and I received incredible service. Friendly staff, text updates, and prompt service. Thanks guys!
I called and spoke to Jared Tenud about a preowned vehicle. He was extremely polite and helpful with all my questions. Still thinking about what vehicle is best for me, but I would definitely recommend his services.
Not really impressed. They have had my car for will be 3 weeks. Took them over 10 days to get me a rental, I was entitled to from day one. I have gone 3 weeks without employment because of the lack of urgency.
Do not use this shop, ask your insurance company to send you somewhere else! I had a scraped bumper THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. My car was totally drivable, they basically held it hostage and wouldn’t give it back to me so I could take it somewhere else. On the day I picked it up, I waited two hours past the pick up time because they were “in a meeting and would be out soon.” Complete BS
Sadly didnt read these reviews and went here when it was recommended by Geico. Horrible customer service, no follow-up, and weeks and weeks of delays without reason. They seemed put together when I dropped off my car, but this place is all kinds if dysfunctional. Stay away.
Tim Dane was awesome, couldnt have asked for a better car buying experience
Terrible!!!Jeff, the manager was very rude. He made me pay for a deductable that was not due. I had to get it back from geico. He refused to completely paint the rear end of my car, leaving a small 4 by 4 are not painted. He claimed that it was not covered, I paid $1000 out of pocket to have this repaired only to have my car looking worse then when I bought it into the shop.Very unprofessional and takes no pride in their work.
Good body and paint work, but LOOK WHAT THEY DID DO MY LUGNUTS. Staff is great but overworked.
I dont often leave reviews, but others need to be aware of this place. Short staffed, shoddy work, poor communication and high staff turn-over. Its one of Geicos preferred shops and connected to a cadillac dealership, but your experience will be neither convenient or quality. A two week job turned into six weeks, with no one returning calls or giving explanations. When i finally did get the car, white wax was caked into all crevices and the manager kept apologizing. A few weeks on the parts of the fender are now popping loose meaning ill have to go back. Save yourself long-term pain and go to a different shop.
Had a great experience!
I had a great experience !!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.Lithia Body and Paint:- Missed an obvious part of the repair that would be caught by any competent body shop- Repaired a fracture by dolloping some paint on top of it- Lost my $200 key fob- Made it my responsibility to replace the key fob- Did not pay out the correct reimbursement to replace the key fob and refused to cut an additional check for the remaining amount- Was antagonistic, patronizing, and unprofessional when I requested they pay what was owed to me for replacing the key they lost.- Did not care about taking any responsibility for their errorsGeico sent me here and oh how I wish I would have invoked my right as an Oregonian to choose another shop. I had to make 5 trips here during the repair. The vehicle has professional racing stripes which had to be replaced. The first replacement was botched (not Lithias fault, contracted out for that service) and I had to pick up my vehicle while they waited for the new stripe to arrive (trip #2). When picking the vehicle up the first time, I discovered a fracture that had not been repaired. The manager, Jeff, said the shop must have missed it and ensured it would be repaired when we brought back the car to have the stripe applied. After bringing my car back for the second time (trip #3), Lithia called a couple days later to inform me they had lost my +$200 key fob and I would have to bring them my spare (trip #4). Lithia told me they would pay for the replacement key but it would be my responsibility to get the quote, order it, pick it up, etc... After calling my dealership, I informed Lithia which dealership I had spoken with and the price they quoted me for a replacement. Lithia failed to follow up with the correct dealership and cut me a check for $6 less than what I was quoted because the dealership Lithia contacted had quoted them less. I had already ordered the replacement key and had an appointment scheduled with MY dealership so I told Lithia I would still like the $6 I was owed for their mistake. They said they would cut the check and mail it. When I finally received my car back (trip #5), the repair of the bumper fracture was EMBARRASSING. It literally looked like someone took a sponge and put a dollop of paint over the fracture. It was lumpy, not blended with the other paint, and, not to mention, the actual issue had not been repaired - just painted over. If this whole process wasnt so frustrating, their excuse for a repair would actually be comical. Finally, the day after receiving my vehicle back, Chris from Lithia called and left the following patronizing and unprofessional voicemail: Good morning, this is Chris from Lithia Body and Paint Catalog of Portland. Uh, calling regarding the six dollars that you wish to be reimbursed. Spoke with, uh, upper management and it costs us, uh, just, it just doesnt make sense for us to, you know, cut a check for $6 so if you want to stop on by, uh, well give you six dollars out of our personal pocket. Um, we filled up your tank with gas, hopefully taken care of you there, I think weve done that. Um, but uh, as far as, you know, cutting a check, sending it out, it just doesnt make feasible sense for us to do that so come on by, well give you six bucks.Yes, the amount is only $6 bucks. No, we dont need the $6, and of course it doesnt make sense for a business to cut and mail a $6 check but that isnt my problem - they should have cut the check for the right amount the first time. Businesses make mistakes, and I completely understand that. My issue is Lithia had no interest in taking responsibility for their mistake and doing what was necessary to make it right. Lithia lost my key, Lithia failed to follow up on the quote I provided, Lithia failed to cut the check for the correct amount. And yet, their answer is to, once again, place the burden of THEIR mistakes on the customer. I would be mortified if my business practices were anything like Lithias. Save yourself time, money, and headaches by going anywhere other than Lithia.
Geico sent me to Lithia Paint and Auto Body when I was rear-ended by a Geico client. Their driver admitted fault, so I was not on the hook for the repair work, so I cannot speak on the price of repairs. That said, everyone I worked with at Lithia was great, especially my personal service rep Dalila. She did a great job making me feel like a VIP, and along with the onsite Geico rep, kept me informed of the progress on my car.I thought it was great they were able to text me progress updates. They returned my car with the bumper repaired perfectly, and the car washed, which was a very nice touch. They handled all the correspondence with Geico too, so I really did not have to be involved in the repair process. If you have a service claim the requires a body shop, Lithia Body and Paint is a very solid choice.
Very unsanitary building disgusting need to clean
You wreck it they fix it good!
Had a bad experience here. Really bad.
Excellent work.
Good body shop.
Awful
The workshop service is pure rubbish, I bought my troka from me and they never fixed my air conditioning. They only filled with gas for the air conditioning.Being able to replace the damaged hose.
